Open your news feed on any given morning in 2026 and you'll find the kind of headlines that feel like they belong in the book of Revelation. War between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Israel and the United States striking Iran. The last nuclear arms treaty between the US and Russia expired in February, leaving the world without a strategic weapons limit for the first time in decades. Wikipedia Iran — ancient Persia — has long been identified by Bible scholars as a major player in end-times prophecy, and events in that region are drawing the attention of discerning believers worldwide. Harvest People are searching. Google trends confirm it — "end times signs," "Bible prophecy current events," "is the rapture near" spike every time a new conflict erupts. But tucked quietly inside all that prophetic curiosity is something far more personal: grief.
