    Chats with Coach

    Conversation with your coach is a powerful part of the story. It captures something every competitor experiences: the gap between the immediate emotions after a show and the perspective that comes a few days later. One of the most meaningful parts of this weekend wasn't on stage at all. It was the conversations with my coach afterward. Zoom out. We're no longer trying to fix ten things. We're refining.  Life has a vote too. My coach reminded me that we can build prep around life instead of forcing life around prep.  I'm a little sad it's over. But there's also gratitude. It's just the end of this season.The next version of me is already being built.T he reality that bodybuilding is about seasons—not just stages.

    Battle of the Titans Recap — The Show Beyond the Stage

    This weekend was NPC Battle of the Titans, and honestly, there was so much more happening than just a few minutes under the lights.One of my favorite parts of every show is the people. I got to spend time backstage with friends, meet new competitors,  familiar faces, and so much more.  Prep brain.   The stage.  Placings.  Behind the scenes. Husband Racing in Baja.  Construction project.  The quiet alone time, a necessary evil. Brain decompressing. Yard work, Grocery Store, Shopping. Cleaning, Crying  Emotional to Somatic processing. "Happy Processing Day (week +)  grab a journal."  But be kind to yourself and celebrate enjoy your accomplishments!I Love this sport, love this life, love this community, found my place and my people.Every gym session, every show, every check-in, every Posing practice... I learn more about myself and I get strong stronger and better.
