Revelation Study Class 8
Send us Fan MailToday we will be looking at Revelation 2:8-11 in which the Second Epistle is addressed to the angel (leader) of the Assembly of Smyrna, with an explanation of the "period of trial, 10 days. We learn about the resurrection of the Beast and the trials true believers must endure to the end where eternal life awaits. We will also learn about false prophets who call themselves "Jews" but are indeed Gentiles who have chosen rejection of G-d's Torah and are part of the "'synagogue of Satan" described in this chapter. There is much more to learn today, so please take a break from your day and listen to the warnings and explanation of the times to come sooner than we think, and the blessed outcome for those who remain faithful to G-d's Torah; both the Written (the Laws of G-d through Moshe AND the Living (Yahshua)

Parashah #48: Shof'tim (Judges) D'varim (Deuteronomy) 16:18-21:9
Send us Fan MailThe focus of this commentary starts with the details of how judges are to be chosen and how they are to fulfill their roles using "justice, only justice you must pursue..." I will also discuss idolatry from a biblical definition which includes a wider scope of lifestyle practices than we may think. We should examine our priorities in life and see if there is anything or anyone we place before our obedience to G-d and His authority, repent, and make the necessary life adjustments.

Blessed are the Poor in Spirit
Send us Fan MailThere are several subjects within this podcast: 1. Disinformation and misinformation taught by the "Kingdom Now" movement and the scriptural references that show the fallacy of such doctrine and teaching.2. The erroneous beliefs by rabbinical Judaism and Christianity that the Messiah will not return until man becomes "righteous enough" and makes the world "ready" for Yahshua's return.3.The true meaning of "poor in spirit" and surrounding misunderstandings of the concept (Of course if we start with the wrong premise, we will come to the wrong conclusion).4. What it will take for the Messiah to return... in His own words...

Revelation Study Class 7
Send us Fan MailIn this podcast I will first address a summary of the seven Epistles, then I will concentrate on Ephesus. Throughout our study and examination of these Epistles it is of paramount importance that we understand that people make up the Assemblies first receiving G-d's praise, then His admonition to repent applies to us in some way. Each of us must examine our hearts and ask the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to reveal our shortcomings and help us to repent as well.Next week: Smyrna

The Start of a New Life
Send us Fan MailIf you want to start a new life, one that will lead you to the narrow gate of eternal live, listen to the story of Nicodemus and consider your life ambition. If you want a new life in Yahshua the Messiah, emulate Nicodemus. Come to Yahshua as he did, and you will leave as he did.

Parashah #47: Re'eh (See) D'varim (Deuteronomy) 11:26-16:17
Send us Fan MailIn this parashah I am going to delve into the deeper meaning of "Re'eh" as it relates to not only this parashah, but also our entire way of exploring and studying G-d's Torah/instructions. I am also going to discuss the "real" issue behind the continued and worsening Middle East conflict and that it will not end until Yahshua returns.I will also discuss the importance of the command fir us to discern the spirits in the context of what we many" think" is "spiritual" and true but is actually HaSatan's attempts to deceive people away from the truth. False prophets and teachers are included in this discussion and the fact that as we get closer to Yahshua's return, there will be a proliferation of these individuals.

Trials Part 2
Send us Fan MailAs I continue and conclude this 2-part teaching on Trial I will focus on Romans 8:28 and its importance in our lives whenever we must go through another trip in the crucible of refinement. I will discuss Job, Jacob, and attempt to enforce that we must lovingly obey G-d's commands/law/instructions with no thought of "what's in it for me?" Such was the righteousness of Job. Yet, G-d used Job to show the angels and Satan that there are people who will lovingly follow G-d even unto death. May we too be found to love G-d that much.

Revelation Study Class 6
Send us Fan MailWe will continue to examine and conclude the teaching on Chapter 1 and move on to chapters 2-3 beginning with a discussion on the people who are on the earth during the Day of the L-rd, events that are impossible to explain through history. I am also going to discuss how easy it is to be convinced of teaching that may "sound good" but in fact is filled with hidden agendas that are not in the best interest of those who want to learn the truth of G-d's Torah, including the book of Revelation.

Trials Part 1
Send us Fan MailI am going to address the problem of suffering in a 2-part podcast of which this is the first. I will show you how believers are never alone; that suffering may be equated with the refining process used for gold. Indeed, this is also discussed in Scripture. In these end times in which we are living, I hope this and the next part of this message bring relief to you and provide valuable guidance that will help you as you continue your earthly race toward the prize of eternal life with G-d. Never look back; always look up. G-d is in control.

Parashah #46: Ekev (Because) (D'varim (Deuteronomy) 7:12-11:25
Send us Fan MailToday's focus is on the Judgment we must all face when Yahshua returns. The correlation to this parashah and the six times taking care and obeying G-d's commands/instructions/law are discussed in detail. We are reminded that G-d's plan for mankind will be fulfilled and all of His promises will be kept. If we want to be included in the sheep that are placed to Yahshua's right at the Judgment, we too must take care and obey all of G-d's commands/law/instructions. This is written in stone...

A Musical Tribute to the Stewardship of Animals and the Consequences of Disrupting G-d's Natural Order
Send us Fan MailThis is a unique podcast for me as I am integrating a song I wrote concerning the subject of Stewardship and our responsibility to respect and care for G-d's creatures. I am providing a personal narrative I experienced while living on Guam that involves the effects of man's interference with G-d's natural order. I hope you enjoy the message and the song.

Revelation Study Introduction Class 5
Send us Fan MailThe focus of this podcast is the fact that the book of Revelation is filled with prophecy, not history. I will discuss the various words and genders for describing "testimony" as it relates to the testimony of Yahshua HaMashiach and the fact that this testimony is directly from Him concerning Israel and His kingdom to come. earthI also address several unique expressions in Revelation 1:1-3 that lend further credence to the fact that the Church is not the subject of the book of Revelation

Parashah #45: Va'etchanan (I pleaded) D'varim (Deuteronomy) 3:23-7;11
Send us Fan MailThe focus of this podcast is the fact that there are times when G-d says " no" and we must accept His decision regarding the answer to our prayer regardless of what we ask. G-d's will is perfect, and once we internalize that truth, we can have a peace about His answer to prayer without a doubt that His answer is for our ultimate good. The other subject discussed today is the reality that there is a time when G-d "shuts doors." To understand this concept, the historical and prophetic applications of this truth, join me for this podcast.

Replacement Theology is Idolatry
Send us Fan MailThe 'Church has not replaced Israel or the Jewish people with a "new" chosen people, Christians. This has no biblical basis and is a dangerous doctrine to teach and/or believe. First Samuel 15:23 tells us " For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. This verse informs us that Rebellion equates to witchcraft, and stubbornness equates with idolatry.People who refuse to abandon their traditions when they are in direct conflict=t with G-d's Word are the most dangerous example of stubbornness. Whether they be teachers or parishioners, open rebellion against the Word of G-d demonstrates that they idolize their opinions above G-d's Word. Let's explore this together.

Some Principles of Biblical Interpretation
Send us Fan MailThis brief podcast will provide you with an organized list of questions about a scripture, and how to research the right answer. Remember, if the information you are examining does not match or is not "in synch" with G-d's Word, then it is not credible and should be discarded.

Revelation Study Class 4
Send us Fan MailToday I will distinguish between the terms used in this book referring to "servants," "sons," "servants and sons" and the importance of each reference.I will also continue to present evidence that the book of Revelation was not written to the "Church. Rather, it was written to the Jew and to the Gentile, as a warning of what will soon come to pass as the One true Messiah, Yahshua returns to earth and is revealed to those Jews who have been spiritually blinded until the fullness of the Gentiles is reached, whereby those Jews who currently do not accept Yahshua as Messiah will have their spiritual eyes opened. I also delve into the words and the concepts of "to reveal" and "revelation" and the context as each is used in this book.I also briefly discussed the connection and differences between the Living Word (Yahshua) and the Written Word of G-d. They are indeed the same G-d manifest in different "forms" to accomplish the goal for a specific situation. (This is for another study and I will be happy to address this if you are interested in learning more. Go to https://www.rabdavis.org and click the link "Ask the Rabbi" and post your questions or comments. I will respond as soon as possible.)

Parashah #44: D'varim (Words) Deuteronomy 1:1-3:22
Send us Fan MailMixed with this commentary is an introduction and explanation of the book of Deuteronomy and its importance related to the final disposition of our souls. This book provides the "plumbline" which all true believers must use to guide our lives in relating to G-d and to our fellow man. The results of disobedience are discussed with examples. G-d has provided all of the necessary instructions (His Word) that are necessary to reach our "destination," the" Promised Land if we will only have "ears to hear" and follow Yahshua's lead. The book of Deuteronomy is the "blueprint."

Revelation Study Class 3
Send us Fan MailThis class focuses on some of the many "Titles" of G-d and the rationale for their designation. I will also discuss the fact that this book was written to the Jew and the Gentile, of which the "Church" is included. The explanation of the connection between Gentiles and the "Church" is provided with numerous supporting scriptures. The fact that G-d's Law is not dead is also discussed in detail, specifically in 1 John 3:4. Desecration of G-d's Sabbath, designated times; the worship of the Zodiac i.e. the 'heavenly bodies" is also discussed in the context of G-d's impending wrath.Hebrews 4:12 " For the word of G-d is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

Parashot #42 and 43: Mattot (Tribes) and Masa'ei (Stages)
Send us Fan MailToday's commentary includes a discussion on the true borders of Israel which have yet to be fully occupied by G-d's People, and G-d's definition of "inclusion" and "equity" demonstrated through the instructions for distribution of the Land, and the inclusion of the daughters from the family of M'nasheh to inherit land. This was a request of the daughters who took the initiative to ask for an amendment to G-d's instructions concerning land inheritance, which G-d honored.I also discuss the cities of refuge and the instructions concerning their use. Applicability to us today will be discussed in relation to past sins and our accountability to G-d for any sins committed after we have become reconciled to G-d.

Revelation Study Class 2
Send us Fan MailWe continue our study on the Book of Revelation starting at Chapter 1:6 ending with verse 11. This study is not always "easy" to follow, but I assure you, that G-d will bless your consistent effort to "hear" and "act" upon that which you come to understand as you grow in your relationship with YHVH/Yahshua. This is but one of several subjects covered in this teaching.

Parashah #41: Pinchas B'midbar (Numbers) 25:10-30:1
Send us Fan MailToday I am going to compare the changing environment in the United States to that of Israel; the standards G-d established for everyone, the "new nature" Yahshua provides for those who are serious about repenting and following His instructions/laws out of love, and the consequences of a free- will choice to reject His commands/instructions/law. I will discuss how the words of the "Pledge of Allegiance" have changed in concept and reality and that if we want G-d to "Bless America," we must turn back toward Him as our Standard. His Word verifies these conditions.

Revelation Study Chapter 1:1-5
Send us Fan MailToday I will dissect and explain the verses in Chapter 1:1-5. I know there are numerous scriptures to which I have referred you, but it is necessary fr you to see for yourself that the teachings are true and pervade both the Old and "New" Testaments. The teachings of our L-rd never change so we have an excellent opportunity to realign our hearts, minds, and spirits in synchrony/harmony with G-d's Word.

Parashah #39: Hukkat (Regulation) B'midbar (Numbers) 19:1-22:1
Send us Fan MailThis parashah is read with #40 on regular years, but I am focusing on Parashah #39 in this podcastToday I am going to describe the inextricable connection between the Old Testament and the B'rit Chadashah (Refreshed, renewed Covenant) through the narrative of the red heifer (para aduma), and Yahshua as the only perfect sacrifice for the sins of man. I will cover the purification process according to the sacrificial system and how Yahshua's purification after his sacrifice followed the same instructions given by G-d to Moshe.

Revelation Study: Introduction Part 2
Send us Fan MailThis continuation of our study on Revelation continues with the second and last part of the Introduction to be discussed today. The focus is on a definition of "the L-rd's Day" and how this specific event has been mistranslated and misconstrued to the point of inaccurate teaching that includes misinformation and disinformation consistent with Christian Chursch Replacement Theology taught in most if not all Christian churches. My goal is to clarify the true meaning of "the L-rd's Day," and how it fits in with our future studies in the Book of Revelation.

Revelation Study: Introduction Part 1
Send us Fan MailWelcome to the study on the Book of Revelation. This podcast provides an introduction to the Book of Revelation which will be presented in two parts. This lesson includes a prelude to the character of the book, the subject of the Apocalypse, which is not the Church, the use of Church Replacement Theology which is used quite frequently in an attempt to deceive those who are looking for the truth of G-d's Word; the language of the book, and the fact that the Church is not the subject of Old Testament prophecy. We must get our facts straight from the beginning in order to discern the truth of G-d's Word So, open your hearts and minds, whether Jew or Gentile and let's delve into the Book of Revelation together.

The Importance of Comparing Translations of the Bible
Send us Fan MailIn this podcast I exhort the listener to always compare what they are taught/told by their clergy or other Bible teachers with G-d's Word for accuracy against more than one version. Accessing and reviewing scripture from the earliest translations possible will minimize contradictions, omissions, additions, and other peripheral garbage that has caused so many to misunderstand G-d's commands/instructions and Law regarding how He wants us to worship and relate to Him and how we are to live among and treat our fellow man. We are instructed to ask, seek, and knock for those who ask will be give; those who seek will find, and those who knock the door will be opened. 2 Timothy15-16 says it all: " And study to present thyself, perfectly a laborer who is not ashamed, one who correctly announceth the word of truth" (A literal translation from the Syriac Peshito Version).* Syriac is a straightforward language, much like Hebrew with no ambiguities in it.

Parashah #37: Shlach L'kha ( Send on your behalf) B'midbar( Numbers) 13:1-15:41
Send us Fan MailToday I am concentrating on the literal, contextual, physical, and spiritual significance of understanding and integrating the true meaning of "trust" in YHVH/Yahshua. Throughout G-d's Torah, and as addressed in this parashah, we discover that the lack of faith and trust in G-d cost the Israelites time and significant loss of life. Forgiveness can be partial in some cases, also recorded in this parashah. If we want to be included as the Bride of Yahshua, we must "wash our garments" (repent) and start afresh learning G-d's instructions/commands and following them all the way "home."

An Exposition on Pertinent Passages on Amos
Send us Fan MailThis brief podcast focuses on the " day of the L-rd" which was a prophetic message by Amos. I will also address verses 21-4 where G-d makes it very clear that He does not want any sacrifices or offerings if our hearts and intent is not in it. Let me make it clear that G-d commanded the sacrificial system. What He was angry about was that the sacrifices and offerings were made without any personal involvement. Their observance was strictly legalistic. Many Christian clergy teach that G-d's laws were abrogated and use these verses to support their position. Unfortunately, they are ignorant of G-d's Torah (Word/instructions/law) and simply teach that Christians are under a large umbrella of G-d's grace, negating G-d's commands and erroneously teaching that Yahshua (Jesus) came to "free" man from His laws/instructions.

Parashah #36: B'ha'alotkha (When you set up) B'midbar (Numbers) 8:1-12:16
Send us Fan MailToday I am going to focus on the Temple Menorah, the arrangement of the lamps, the light as it related to the Light of the world (Yahshua), and the light we draw from Him to shine forward to the world. I will also cover the definition of a true believer and the fact that if we want to be a part of G-d's people and eventually the Bride of Yahshua, we must ready ourselves with serious and heartfelt repentance and loving obedience to His Word. Scriptural references will be provided as always.

Nahum: End Time Prophecy, and Current Events
Send us Fan MailAs the world continues to fall away from obedience to and a love for G-d's Torah (instructions/law), and blindly attempt to explain the exponential increase in devastating events such as crimes of increasing cruelty, secular humanistic teaching, unprecedented weather events, a national shift toward socialism, the appearance of strange and more virulent viruses and bacteria, I am compelled as Messianic Jewish rabbi concerned for Jew and Gentile to provide a sound biblical explanation for such events. But more than this, I will discuss the remedy that the Great Physician himself (YHVH/Yahshua) provides throughout His Word that is accessible to everyone, Jew or Gentile.

Shavu'ot-Pentecost
Send us Fan MailIn this podcast I will give a brief explanation of what Shavu'ot represents, that it is a mandated festival of G-d. and that it does not represent the birth of "the Church."Rather, the observance of Shavu'ot was an act of consecration and celebration. this It was and is a time to give YHVH/Yahshua his due; to offer Him the first and best portion of our harvest, whether food or any other "increase."Let's take a closer look at what else happened on this special day including the giving of the 10 Commands at Mt. Sinai and later the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) the latter of which we will focus on today.

Amalek: the Epitome of Evil and the End Times
Send us Fan MailIn continuing the series of podcasts on prophecy, I want to investigate some of the end-time players, especially Amalek. Response to Orthodox Jewish questions regarding how Yahshua qualifies as Prophet, Priest, and King: Part 4
Send us Fan MailIn this final episode for this mini-series of podcasts, we will explore the Melchizedek Priesthood and how it and He foreshadows Yahshua as our Messiah, Prophet, Priest, and King. We need to understand that Yahshua's Priesthood is after a different order than the Levitical or Aaronic Priesthood; instead, it is of the order of Melchizedek. Let's explore this interesting and revealing phenomenon nestled within G-d's Torah.

Response to Orthodox Jewish questions regarding how Yahshua qualifies as Prophet, Priest, and King/Messiah: Part 2
Send us Fan MailIn the first podcast of this series, I ended with a discussion on Talmudic evidence for Yahshua as Messiah as early as 30CE. Comparing information from both Talmudic references we find that both Talmuds recorded the same information, indicating that the knowledge of the events described in the first podcast were generally accepted by the mainstream Jewish community. In this podcast, I describe four miracles associated with the strange repeating results of the lot system used to designate the "scapegoat" and the goat to be offered as a complete sacrifice for the L-rd. In the next podcast in this series, I will address the cultural and legal context of genealogy as it relates to Jewish law and how Yahshua fits the requirements of the prophesied Prophet, Priest. and King/Messiah.

Response to Orthodox Jewish questions regarding how Yahshua qualifies as Prophet, Priest, and King/Messiah
Send us Fan MailThis response is recorded in sections due to the plethora of information provided. I hope Jews and Gentiles who want to understand the truth that neither the Old Testament nor the "New" testament can exist without the other. Just as road signs are meant to guide us to what is ahead, so the prophecies in the Tanakh provide guidance and information that leads us to Yahshua as Prophet, Priest, and King; the soon-to return Messiah. So, look for the subsequent podcasts that will provide you with the complete response addressing the above questions. Careful and prayerful study of this book will open our minds to the fact that G-d is in control, has a plan for mankind, and that we must learn to place our trust in what G-d says he will do will certainly come to past as proven through history up to the current day.I will also "show" that G-d's laws are not dead and that we will all be held accountable for our life choices. It is time to turn our hearts toward "home" as did Habakkuk who learned these lessons that G-d had put in writing for our benefit.
