Psalm 34 || CHILL Ep 2 - Come to Him (+ bloopers at the end!)
(with a few bloopers included at the end 😜) What do you do when stress, fear, and uncertainty seem to take over your thoughts? In this second message of the Chill: Rethinking Rest & Stress Bible study series, we'll slow down and spend time in Psalm 34, where David invites us to discover a deeper kind of rest—not by escaping life's pressures, but by coming near to God in the middle of them. Written during one of the most difficult seasons of David's life, Psalm 34 reminds us that God's peace is not reserved for people whose lives are calm and orderly. It is available to those who seek Him, trust Him, and learn to take refuge in Him. Together we'll explore what it means to "taste and see that the LORD is good," how God's character anchors us when life feels uncertain, and why true rest begins with relationship rather than relief from our circumstances. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, carrying heavy burdens, feeling spiritually weary, or simply longing to grow deeper in God's Word, this Bible teaching will encourage you to draw near to the One who hears, delivers, and cares for His people. In this message you'll discover: Why Psalm 34 was written during a season of crisis and fear How David learned to seek God in difficult circumstances What it means to "taste and see that the LORD is good" Practical ways to slow down and study Scripture more thoughtfully How God's character becomes our anchor in stressful seasons Why biblical rest begins by coming to God Himself If this study encourages you, please subscribe, like, and share this message with a friend. We'd love to have you join us as we learn to dwell richly in God's Word together. Psalm 119:25-32 || ABCs of Grace - DALET ד Ep. 2
Devotional, Study Notes, and Transcript available at DwellingRichly.org series "ABCs of Grace" Psalm 119:25-32 || Ep. 2 ABCs of Grace - DALET ד Focus: We're continuing a special series where I share my dad's teachings from Psalm 119, recorded way back in 1981. In this episode, my dad, Pastor Dave, guides us through verses 25-32, focusing on finding hope and strength in times of depression. He called this section "Orienting to Depression," emphasizing the Hebrew letter Dalet that begins each verse. His insights are timeless and so relevant, especially if you're struggling or supporting someone who is. Reminder: These recordings are from old cassettes, so expect a little static and garble. But trust me, it's worth it. Grab your Bible, follow along, and don't forget to check out the study guides and transcripts on my blog, for a clearer understanding. Key Points: Memorize Psalm 119:25-32 to internalize God's promises. Reflect on areas of your life where you feel defeated and ask God to revive you according to His Word. Share this message with someone struggling with depression or loneliness. Study the verses mentioned in the podcast to deepen your understanding. Engage in daily meditation on God’s Word to combat negative thoughts. Dwelling in the Word and letting the Word dwell in us richly is different than reading the Bible or reading a devotional with Bible passages. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly and return the favor by dwelling in the Word - not "doing" Bible study, not simply reading - but moving into the Word with heart, soul, mind, and strength. It's being intentional in making a shift from treating the Word of God like a self-help book to letting it dwell in us as the living Word of God that it is. Rediscovering Dad: Family, Faith, and Forgotten Tapes
I originally shared this episode, August of 2024. Enjoy this special episode of the Dwelling Richly podcast in honor of my father and this Father's Day, June 2026. So, this is a super special episode of the Dwelling Richly podcast. I've been teasing you with hints about a surprise, and today, I'm finally spilling the beans. My dad was a pastor, and growing up as a pastor's kid gave me some amazing memories. Fast forward to 2024, both my parents have passed, and I found myself going through old boxes in the garage. Imagine my shock when I discovered a box of my dad's old cassette tapes, recordings of his teachings from the early '80s! Despite some rat damage (gross, I know!), the tapes were miraculously intact. Hearing my dad's voice again was beyond emotional. And get this—one series is called "How to Enjoy the Bible," perfectly aligning with my current podcast series! I'm working on digitizing these treasures so I can share them with you all. Stay tuned for these raw, heartfelt recordings. Thanks for being part of this journey with me. Can't wait to share more soon! CHILL || Ep 1 - Rethinking Rest and Stress
If you've ever found yourself longing for a break from the pressures of life, you're not alone. We all know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by responsibilities, worries, distractions, and the constant feeling that there is always one more thing demanding our attention. But what if biblical rest is more than simply escaping stress for a little while? In this opening message, we'll begin exploring what Scripture teaches about true rest, not as the absence of difficulty, but as learning to dwell with God in the middle of real life. Together we'll look at: • God's pattern of rest in Genesis 2 • Jesus' invitation to weary people in Matthew 11 • Peter stepping out of the boat in the middle of the storm in Matthew 14 • Why the Psalms have been a source of comfort and strength for believers throughout history • How dwelling in God's Word helps anchor our hearts when life feels unsettled This message also introduces the four Psalms we'll be studying throughout the CHILL series: C — Come to Him (Psalm 34) H — Hide in Him (Psalm 27) I — Know Him as the Great I AM (Psalm 145) L-L — Let Go and Let God (Psalm 46) Dwelling Richly is a non-denominational parachurch ministry with community Bible studies, discipleship, retreats, workshops and fellowship to help disciple others to "let the word of Christ dwell" in us richly. || SOCIAL MEDIA || Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/dwellingrichlypodcast || PODCAST || Any platform - "The Dwelling Richly Podcast" https://dwellingrichly.podbean.com/

Colossians 3:18-4:18 || Ep. 6 Watchful, Wise, Faithful
In this final session of our Colossians study, we move from truth we believe to the life we live. Paul brings everything together by showing how Christ’s lordship shapes our homes, our work, our prayer, our words, and our relationships. From the way we love and lead in our families, to how we approach our daily responsibilities, to how we speak with wisdom and grace—this passage reminds us that nothing in our lives falls outside the care and authority of Christ. And as Paul closes with real names, real people, and even the mention of his chains, we’re reminded that the gospel moves forward through ordinary faithfulness—carried by grace all the way to the end. If you’ve ever wondered how to live out your faith in the middle of real life, this message will encourage you to see that a life rooted in Christ is lived out in the everyday. 📖 Key Scriptures: Colossians 3:18-4:18 🌿 This is the final episode of our Colossians: Rooted & Renewed Bible study through Dwelling Richly Ministries, where we don’t rush Scripture. Colossians 3:1-17 || Ep. 5 Putting on What is True
What does it actually look like to live like you’ve been raised with Christ? Get the Notes Handout and DWELL Method guide for this session at DwellingRichly.org In this session of our Colossians: Rooted & Renewed study, we walk through Colossians 3:1–17 and uncover the foundation of the Christian life—identity first, then action. Paul reminds us that we are not striving to become new… we already are. Because we’ve been raised with Christ, we are called to seek what is above, set our minds on Him, put to death what no longer belongs to us, and put on a life shaped by compassion, forgiveness, love, and gratitude. If you’ve ever wondered how to move from knowing truth to actually living it out, this message will encourage you to anchor your life in who you are in Christ and let His Word dwell richly in you. 📖 Key Scriptures: Colossians 3:1–17 Colossians 2:12 Matthew 6:33 Psalm 27:4–5 Exodus 34:6–7 Ephesians 2:14–16 🌿 This episode is part of our Colossians: Rooted & Renewed Bible study through Dwelling Richly Ministries, where we don’t rush Scripture. Colossians 2:1-23 || Ep. 4 Guarded Against Substitutes
In Colossians 2, Paul confronts one of the most subtle dangers facing the church: the temptation to add something to Christ. Not blatant unbelief. Not outright denial. But supplementation. In this session of our Colossians: Rooted & Renewed study, we walk carefully through Colossians chapter 2 and uncover Paul’s four urgent warnings: • Don’t be deluded by persuasive speech • Don’t be taken captive by hollow philosophy • Don’t let anyone judge you by shadows • Don’t be disqualified by false humility At the heart of Paul’s argument is this unshakable truth: “For in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in Him.” (Colossians 2:9–10) Christ is not one spiritual option among many. He is the fullness. And in Him, we are complete. In this message, we explore: What it means to be rooted and built up in Christ Why “Christ Jesus the Lord” is a strategically ordered title The connection between gratitude and spiritual stability The difference between maturity and religious “extras” Why self-made religion has no power against the flesh How Old Testament shadows point to Christ as the substance What it means that our record of debt was nailed to the cross How Christ triumphed over rulers and authorities Paul’s concern was not that believers would abandon Jesus. It was that they would drift toward something that looked spiritual yet quietly relocated trust. That warning still matters today. We live in a world filled with persuasive voices, self-improvement systems, spiritual influencers, and religious performance. But fullness is not found in philosophy, discipline, experiences, or rules. If you have ever wondered: Am I missing something deeper? Do I need more than Christ to grow? Why do religious rules fail to transform the heart? How do I guard my faith in a culture of endless spiritual options? 📖 Key Scriptures: Colossians 2:1–23 John 10:10 Psalm 90:14 Deuteronomy 10:16; 30:6 Genesis 17 🌿 This episode is part of our Colossians: Rooted & Renewed Bible study through Dwelling Richly Ministries, where we don’t rush Scripture. Colossians 1:1-29 || Ep. 3 The Supremacy of Christ
What does the supremacy of Christ have to do with your hope? In this session of Colossians: Rooted & Renewed, we walk verse by verse through Colossians chapter 1 and discover how Paul connects the supremacy of Jesus to the unshakable hope believers have — and the hope we can confidently offer a lost world. If you’ve ever wondered: • What does “firstborn of all creation” really mean? • Does Colossians 1 teach that Jesus is God? • What does it mean to be “delivered from the domain of darkness”? • Can we lose our salvation in Colossians 1:23? • How does “Christ in you, the hope of glory” change how we live today? This message explores the powerful theology of prototokos (firstborn), redemption (apolutrosis), reconciliation, and the cosmic language Paul uses to describe Jesus as Creator, Sustainer, and Head of the Church. We’ll also connect: 📖 Colossians 1:5 — “the hope laid up for you in heaven” 📖 Colossians 1:15–20 — the supremacy and deity of Christ 📖 Colossians 1:21–23 — the “now and not yet” of reconciliation 📖 Colossians 1:27 — “Christ in you, the hope of glory” 📖 Revelation 19:9 — the marriage supper of the Lamb Because when Christ is supreme, our hope is secure. This is not abstract theology. This is fuel for endurance, joy in suffering, confidence in salvation, and courage in mission.

Colossians || Ep. 1 Dwelling in the Word
Welcome to "Colossians: Rooted & Renewed" - First teaching session in this Bible study series! This session is all about learning how to slow down, lean into Scripture, and let God’s Word actually live in you (not just check a box). We’ll walk through the D-W-E-L-L rhythm, build simple habits, and do it together in community—praying, planning, and prioritizing our time with Jesus. Grab your Bible, your Grace Group, and a cup of something cozy—this is going to be a joyful, honest, and doable way to root yourself in Christ as we begin Colossians. Colossians has often been described as Romans in miniature because it is a concise, Christ-centered letter packed with rich theology and real-life application. Written to believers who were faithful but vulnerable to drifting, Colossians brings everything back into focus: who Christ is, what He has accomplished, and why He is enough. We’ll walk through Paul’s letter and rediscover the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus…learning what it means to be deeply rooted in truth and continually renewed in the way we think, believe, and live. Welcome to Week 2 of the God's Perfect Timing devotional. Advent begins long before Bethlehem. God's Perfect Timing || Week 1 - A Heart of True Thankfulness
Welcome to week one of the Dwelling Richly devotional, God’s Perfect Timing. This week we’re slowing down with Psalms, Deuteronomy, and Philippians to practice thankfulness and remember how steady God has been. Take a few minutes each day to read, reflect, and jot down what stands out — maybe one attribute of God, a moment He provided, or a short line from Psalm 136 to carry you through. If you haven’t printed the devotional yet, grab it from the website and let’s walk through this week together. I’m praying for you — let these scriptures center your heart and remind you that God’s love and timing are always true. See you next week! It's 50 days (five short prompts a week for seven weeks), taking you from the Sunday before Thanksgiving through the Sunday after New Year's. Each day gives a tiny Bible prompt, a quick thought, and space to jot one simple reflection — nothing overwhelming, just a steady rhythm to keep your heart grounded. I'd love for you to join me — download it, share it with a friend, and let's let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly this season. Say hi and subscribe on the website so we can stay connected. Dwelling Richly is a community Bible study and discipleship resource equipping you to love and live out God's word heart, soul, mind, and strength. We are people who enthusiastically and intentionally let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. Let’s stay connected! Share your thoughts in the comments. Looking for a speaker? Isaiah 6:1-5 || Getting It Right About God
From back in the archives, this is the first sermon I preached - July, 2013. If you’ve ever felt ‘meh’ about faith or struggled with life’s hard questions, this sermon gently calls you back to the wonder of who God is and how a humble response can change everything. This is a reminder that God isn’t just a distant idea or a casual checkbox; He’s holy, powerful, and deeply personal. I invite you to move from indifference or frustration to humble awe and wholehearted devotion. What’s the most important thing about you? A.W. Tozer said, “The most important thing about a man is what he thinks about God.” This was my very first sermon back in July 2013, and the heartbeat of it still anchors every message I preach today. From Isaiah’s vision of the Lord high and lifted up, we learn that true peace and purpose begin not with me, but with Him. 📖 Read the companion blog post: https://www.jennifergrichmond.com/contact/ Follow on... Philippians 2:1-18 || Ep. 4 The Way Up Is Down
What does real humility look like—and why does it lead to joy? In this session from Philippians: Joyful & Steady, we'll walk through one of the most beautiful passages in Scripture—the “Christ Hymn” of Philippians 2. Discover how Jesus’ downward path of obedience and self-emptying becomes the model for our own lives of unity, service, and radiant joy. If you’ve ever struggled to surrender pride, to love people who are hard to love, or to find joy in the waiting, this message will help you see that the way down truly is the way up. 📖 Key Scriptures: Philippians 2:1-18 | Micah 6:8 | Isaiah 45:23 | Hebrews 2:8 Philippians: Joyful & Steady is a 6-session study verse-by-verse through this impactful epistle. Special Announcement: A Time for Every Purpose
Today is a good day to subscribe to the Dwelling Richly podcast on YouTube and get on the Dwelling Richly mailing list at JenniferGRichmond.com Read the Blog Update: jennifergrichmond.com/a-time-for-every-purpose/ After 15 wonderful years serving at La Mirada Church, I’ll be retiring as Women’s and Children’s Pastor. I’m deeply grateful for every moment and every person God allowed me to walk alongside. As I began my comments on this past Sunday, I asked one of my favorite questions: “What’s the first thing God gave His people when He delivered them from slavery in Egypt?” A calendar. Because God is the Author of time and seasons, and He’s the One who writes every chapter of our lives. This retirement marks the close of one beautiful season and the beginning of another. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, there is a time for every purpose under heaven. So… what’s next for Pastor Jennifer? This isn’t an ending, it’s another step in following Jesus. I’ll continue teaching and writing through the Dwelling Richly Bible studies and podcast, encouraging others to let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly. I hope you'll join me! I'm excited for what the Lord will bring! Through this transition, my heart rests in one simple truth: Eyes on Him. We may not yet see everything in this world fully under His rule, but we do see Jesus (Hebrews 2:8–9). That’s the focus that has carried me through every season of ministry and it remains the focus now. Retiring from this role doesn’t retire my calling. It simply opens a new chapter to serve and shepherd in fresh ways. And as always, the mission remains the same: to point hearts toward the Word, to build up the Body, and to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. God’s faithfulness in the past gives me full confidence for the future both for me and for La Mirada Church. I'll continue my ministry of discipleship through writing and teaching the Dwelling Richly Bible studies, speaking at events, retreats, and conferences, and shepherding through biblical counseling. The current study through Philippians will continue, so if you are not yet in that study, today is a good day to start! Get the details on my website and be sure to get on the email list so you get updates about future studies and events.

Does God Fight for Me?
This episode digs into a tough but real question: does God fight for us when we feel attacked or misrepresented? We walk through Scripture to understand God’s character, how to check our hearts, and why godly friendships and humility matter more than instant vindication. I share practical steps, key verses to meditate on, and encouragement to trust God’s timing while pursuing holiness. Hebrews 10:32-39 || Those Who Are Faithful
This week’s message from Hebrews 10:32–39 carries a deeply personal note. Before the sermon, we sang “Walk by Calvary”—a song written by my dad, Dave Garrett. He wasn’t just a pastor; he was a songwriter who lived out Colossians 3:16, letting the Word of Christ dwell richly through hymns and spiritual songs. For me, his words are a heritage of faith, pointing me (and now all of us) back to the cross. He was about centering everything on Christ. I can’t think of a better way to step into Hebrews’ call to remember and endure than by remembering the faithfulness of God through the song of a man who lived it. Hebrews 10:26-31 || Sinners in the Hands of a Merciful God
What if the scariest words in Hebrews are actually an act of mercy? “If we go on sinning deliberately…” (Hebrews 10:26–31) can sound like doom, but this passage is a loving shout of “Stop!” to hearts drifting toward an eyes-wide-open rejection of Jesus. In this message, we unpack what “sinning deliberately” really means (and what it doesn’t), why phrases like “trampled the Son of God” and “outraged the Spirit of grace” are so strong, and how this warning comforts the worried, confronts the casual, and equips the faithful. You’ll see the difference between a weak struggler who stumbles yet repents and a willful heart that treats the cross as common. You’ll also hear why this is not about losing salvation, but about refusing the only sacrifice that saves and why the “hands of the living God” are fierce with justice and fierce with grace. Come be sobered, steadied, and invited back to Jesus, His people, and a holy, hopeful life. 👉 Subscribe for more in-depth Bible teaching🔔 Turn on notifications so you don’t miss new content 🙋🏻‍♀️Looking for a speaker? Hebrews 10:1-4 || Our Greatest Need
What if life's biggest need isn't a quick fix? It’s easy to get caught up in wanting things *now*. But what if the deepest longing is for something more? What if it is a sense of peace that comes from within? Feeling like you're never enough? Like no matter how hard you try, you just can’t outrun guilt or find peace with God? In this message from Hebrews 10, we explore why all the sacrifices in the world - not bulls, goats, rituals, or even good deeds - could never do what Jesus did. This isn’t just theology; it’s the answer to your deepest need: to be fully justified, fully clean, and fully free. Let’s talk about shadows, sacrifices, and the Savior who stretched out His arms to cover it all. 👉 Subscribe for more in-depth Bible teaching🔔 Turn on notifications so you don’t miss new content 🙋🏻‍♀️Looking for a speaker? "Courage to Claim Promises: Walking in Faith and Victory"
Ever feel like you’re standing on the edge of something God promised but hesitating to step forward? You’re not alone. In Joshua 10-14, we see battles won, prayers so bold they stopped the sun, and an unlikely group—the Gibeonites—who secured a covenant with God by accident. 💭 Key Quote: “The battle has already been won. Joshua 1:1-5:1 || Ep. 3 "Don't Forget to Remember"
This is Episode #3 from Dwelling Richly "Joshua: Strong & Courageous" The Dwelling Richly podcast on your favorite platforms: Spotify, Apple, YouTube, etc You'll enjoy this blog post: "Faith for the Forgetful" Episode Details... "We all forget things—where we put our keys, why we walked into a room, or even that one important anniversary (not saying who, but you know who you are!). But here’s the good news—God already knows we’re forgetful, and He’s built reminders into His Word to anchor us in truth. That’s why He tells His people, over and over again: Don’t forget to remember!" In today’s episode, we’re diving into Joshua 1:1-5:1, where we see God setting up His people for success—not worldly success, but the kind rooted in trust and obedience. We’ll unpack how right theology shapes our courage, why obedience isn’t just personal but communal, and what Rahab’s faith can teach us about stepping out in trust before we see results. And we’ll ask the big question: Are we setting up spiritual reminders in our own lives to remember God’s faithfulness? 💡 Key Thought: "Courage isn’t about self-confidence; it’s about God-confidence. So if you struggle with self-confidence—good news! You’re already halfway there." So grab your Bible, take a deep breath, and let’s remember together. God is faithful, and He’s leading us forward. Are we paying attention? 📖 Key Scriptures: Joshua 1:9 – “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 4:6-7 – “What do these stones mean to you?” Hebrews 4:8 – “If Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.” 🔗 Helpful Links: Explore the full Joshua series Subscribe for updates Dive deeper on the blog 💬 Let’s stay connected! Joshua || Ep. 2 Dwelling Well pt. 2
"We love the Jesus of the manger because He’s cute and cuddly. That’s why Christmas is so popular. But Easter? That’s messy—there’s blood, a cross, and a spiritual battle. It’s not as easy to celebrate." In this session we'll move in on how to read the Bible - Joshua, in particular - faithfully. Uncover the depth and richness of the book of Joshua as we explore God’s sovereignty, holiness, and faithfulness in leading His people. This message helps us approach Joshua not just as a historical narrative, but as a theological account that points us to God’s ultimate plan in Christ. Along the way, we’ll address difficult questions and learn how to trust God, even in the challenging parts of Scripture. "The Bible was written for us, but it wasn’t originally written to us. You don’t open the Bible and see, ‘Dear Jennifer.’ There was an original audience, and we must read it with that in mind." 📖 Key Scriptures: Joshua 1:1-9, Genesis 15:16, Ephesians 6:10-18, Hebrews 4:1-11 🔗 Helpful Links: Explore the full Joshua series Subscribe for updates Dive deeper on the blog 💬 Let’s stay connected! Galatians 3:19-4:31 || Session 5 - Heirs of the Gospel, Children of Promise
(Message Notes available on my website) Heirs of the Gospel - Children of Promise....this phrase is packed with meaning, hinting at our identity as heirs to God's promises. We explore why the law was given (hint: it’s not to save us) and how it points out our need for a Savior. We learn that faith in Christ transforms us from being bound by the law to becoming full-fledged heirs. Paul brilliantly explains that in Christ, there’s no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female. We’re all one, wearing Christ as our identity. See the beauty of adoption as sons (yes, sons—because it signifies being an heir). This isn’t about exclusion but elevation, showing how everyone is brought to the highest privilege in God’s family. Are we living as true heirs, embracing grace over legalism, and inviting others into this incredible promise? So grab your Bible, open your heart, and let’s embrace the freedom and intimacy we have as children of promise. You won’t want to miss this enlightening study that ties it all together with God’s amazing grace! 🙌 I meet with women like you for pastoral care. In Step with the Gospel
Message Notes available at https://www.jennifergrichmond.com/teaching/ Every relationship and even our self-talk should be filtered through the lens of the gospel. Because, let's be real, life throws a lot at us, and staying grounded in the gospel is key. I even share a personal story about a recent challenge with my husband that taught me the importance of forgiveness and letting go of bitterness. Spoiler: It all comes back to the gospel! Join me as we unpack the importance of keeping in step with the gospel, just like Paul did when he called out Peter for his public misstep. We'll also touch on the five solas of scripture and how they can help us stay focused on the truth. Galatians 1:1-2:6 || The Gospel Reverses You
The gospel is not just about tweaking a few behaviors but completely transforming us from the inside out? We're diving deep into the book of Galatians and exploring how the gospel is designed to reverse us, not the other way around. We often think we can figure things out on our own, right? Whether it's trying to do better politically, culturally, or spiritually, each generation believes it can finally get it right. But history tells us a different story. As we unpack the message of Galatians, we'll see how each attempt to create systems promising freedom often ends up leading to more control and bondage. And guess what? It's the same with our spiritual lives. Join me as we explore Paul's powerful words and his own transformation by the gospel. His life, once dedicated to persecuting the church, became a testament to God's grace and power, glorifying God through his radical change. Let's challenge ourselves to not rationalize our positions but to truly embrace the gospel's call to become new creations in Christ. So, grab your Bible, maybe a cup of coffee, and let's dive into the transformative power of the gospel. Galatians: Free & Filled is a verse-by-verse Bible study through one of the most fired up - maybe the most! - epistle of Paul's! We'll laugh, we'll learn, and we might just get a little fiery as we explore Paul's passionate plea to the early church. Growing Deeper... Daily Scripture Reading Plan: Create a plan to read a portion of Psalm 119 each day, focusing on one stanza (eight verses) at a time. As you read, reflect on the meaning of the Hebrew letters and how they relate to your life. Write down your thoughts and any specific ways you feel God is speaking to you. Journaling with Expectation: Begin a journal where you write down your prayers and expectations as you study the Bible. Reflect on how God has acted in your life in the past and how you expect Him to work in the future. Periodically review your entries to see how God has answered and guided you through His Word. Memorization and Meditation: Choose a verse from Psalm 119 that resonates with you and commit it to memory. Throughout the day, meditate on that verse, considering how it applies to your current situation and how you can live it out. Use it as a reminder to keep your eyes fixed on God’s promises. Group Bible Study: Gather a small group of friends or family members and go through Psalm 119 together, one stanza at a time. Discuss the meaning of each passage, how it challenges or encourages you, and how you can apply it to your lives. Encourage one another to dwell richly in God’s Word throughout the week. Personal Prayer Time: Set aside dedicated time each day to pray through the principles learned in this podcast. Focus on confessing your sins, asking God for understanding, and approaching Him with boldness and expectation. Use Psalm 119:121-128 as a guide for your prayers, asking God to help you see and understand His will. Questions about the Bible? The new series, "So Glad You Asked" has launched! John 13:1-21 || From the Table to the Cross: Love That Knows No End
In this message based on John 13:1-21, we reflect on the moment when Jesus, knowing His hour had come, chose to show His disciples the ultimate example of love and humility by washing their feet. This sermon highlights the significance of Jesus' actions, the meaning of true servant leadership, and our call to serve others with the same sacrificial love. As we go through this passage, we're reminded that God's timing is perfect, and His love for us is limitless. Join us as we consider what it means to love 'to the uttermost' and how we can follow Jesus' example in our own lives. Watch this message on YouTube Listen also on my website JenniferGRichmond.com
