She was fascinated by wishes and started studying them.  She found 70 scientists who have addressed wishing. She talks about "cosmic wishing" and the differences of our three selves.  Brownell originally worked in  advertising and marketing but was drawn to the mystical "woo-woo" stuff during the 80's when Shirley Maclaine had her show. At 20 years old, Keyvan Billou already has a successful career. He is doing what he loves and making a difference in people's lives. Since the age of 5, Keyvan was obsessed with having a six pack abs. He was doing so many exercises that he injured his spine. He went to many people who didn't help him with the pain. Jessie Fahay discovered a powerful way to engage people in conversations by accident.  After the Columbine tragedy, she was involved with a production of "Bang Bang You're Dead."  It was a play that was written for high school students in the aftermath of the shooting.  Her teacher, Lane Sutton, engaged the audience in questions and created an inquiry which got the students talking about what happened.Jessie was involved with other shows that involved the audiences in what she refers to as "talkbacks" which allow the audience to discuss issues after the performance.  She started an organization 17 years ago called Ripple Effect Artists.  They put on one major show a year and one event that both involve the audience in this process as a way to advocate for the issue they are discussing. June 11th, "Building the Wall" will premiere in New York City.  It is a two-person play about an inmate on death row who committed mass murder in a detention center in Texas.  The link for tickets is:(link for tickets)To find out more about Ripple Effect, go to http://www.rippleeffectartists.comJessie Fahay is a visionary theatre producer who has spent 17 years creating provocative productions that spark change beyond the stage.
