Understanding The Story | You Lost Me At Leviticus | Pastor Kenny Mills
This Mother's Day, we explored a powerful truth: God doesn't want our endless sacrifices or exhausting efforts to prove ourselves worthy. Like a child simply crawling into their father's lap just to be close, God desires our hearts—not our performance. The book of Leviticus shows us an exhausting system of sacrifices that could never truly make us right with God. But Jesus changed everything. Hebrews 10:10 declares: "By that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all." House Guest | "What Is All of This For?" | Pastor Austin Smith
In a world of endless opinions and constant noise, we're all searching for purpose. But here's the truth: Your purpose isn't found in what you accomplish—it's found in knowing God and being known by Him. The Great Commission isn't just about going overseas; it's about showing up in your neighborhood, your office, even aisle four at Publix. Jesus didn't give us a suggestion. He gave us a charge: GO. Make disciples. Be baptized in a solution that changes you so completely, you can never go back—like a cucumber that becomes a pickle. You've been commissioned, authorized, and you're not going alone. He promises, "I am with you always." Understanding The Story | The Establishment of the Tabernacle & Priesthood | Pastor Grant Perry
In the Old Testament, God's presence dwelt in the tabernacle behind a veil that only the high priest could enter once a year. Access to God was limited, costly, and required repeated sacrifices. But Jesus changed everything. When He died on the cross, the veil was torn. He became our perfect High Priest and ultimate sacrifice—once for all. Now, through the Holy Spirit, God doesn't just meet with us in a building. He lives IN us. Your body is His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). Understanding The Story | The Law | Pastor Kenny Mills
At Mount Sinai, God didn't just give Israel laws—He proposed. "If you'll be my people, I will be your God." The commandments weren't restrictions; they were His ketubah, a marriage covenant revealing His heart, our identity, and who we're becoming. Each "you shall" carries three promises: a command, yes, but also your identity in Him and the transformation He's working in you. When God says "no other gods," He's declaring "you are a people who belong to Me—and I am enough." When He says "remember the Sabbath," He's promising "you will learn to rest because you trust Me to provide." Jesus didn't abolish this gift—He fulfilled it. He lived the perfect life we couldn't, died the death we deserved, and rose to make us His bride. This isn't about rules. It's a love story. Understanding The Story | The Wedding at Sinai | Pastor Kenny Mills
At Mount Sinai, God didn't just give rules—He proposed to His people. "You will be my treasured possession," He declared. That's wedding language. Israel said "I do"... then cheated on their wedding night by building a golden calf. Sound familiar? How often do we forget God's goodness and chase after other things? Yet here's the beauty: God called Moses back up the mountain and restored what was broken. He said "I do" AGAIN. This same God sent Jesus to fulfill the law through perfect love. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The greatest commandment? "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind" (Matthew 22:37). That's not a rule—it's an invitation to the greatest relationship you'll ever have. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. Easter at Home Church | He Arose | Pastor Kenny Mills
Why do we look for the living among the dead? Many of us search for life, joy, and purpose in dead things—money, success, relationships, achievements. But true life is found only in the One who IS the Resurrection and the Life. Romans 10:9-10 tells us that if we declare Jesus as Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. This isn't just another Sunday. This is the day we celebrate an eternity-shifting moment. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to you today. If you've been wandering or searching, this is your invitation to receive the gift of eternal life. Understanding The Story | The Promises of Passover | Pastor Kenny Mills
This Palm Sunday, we discovered how a meal celebrated for 1,500 years pointed directly to Jesus. From the Passover lamb in Exodus 12 to Jesus entering Jerusalem on the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, every detail was intentional. The blood on the doorposts. The hyssop plant. The day of preparation. All of it foreshadowing the ultimate sacrifice. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. Understanding The Story | The Plight & The Parting | Pastor Grant Perry
The same God who parted the Red Sea is still making a way for His people today. In Exodus, we witness God's faithfulness to His covenant promise - delivering Israel from 400 years of slavery through the blood of a spotless lamb and the parting of impossible waters. This ancient story points to our ultimate Deliverer, Jesus Christ. Just as the Passover lamb's blood covered the Israelites, the blood of Jesus covers us. The Red Sea became both salvation for God's people and judgment for their enemies - a powerful picture of baptism and new birth in Christ. Maybe you've been living in your own "Egypt" - trapped by addiction, shame, or generational patterns. God is still in the business of fighting battles for His people. He's not asking you to save yourself. He's simply asking you to take a step of faith and walk into the freedom He's already prepared. Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13). To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. Understanding The Story | A God of Covenants | Pastor Kenny Mills
Did you know that when God set His rainbow in the sky after the flood, He was actually pointing the bow at Himself? In Hebrew, the word means both "rainbow" and "bow" - a weapon. God promised Noah He'd never destroy the earth by flood again, but here's the profound part: He pointed the weapon of judgment at Himself, not at us. This pattern continues throughout Scripture. At Mount Sinai, God walked through the blood covenant alone. With Abraham, He took full responsibility. And ultimately, on the cross, Jesus took the wrath we deserved. Every covenant God makes, He takes on the weight of keeping it - even when we break our promises to Him. His blood was poured out for you. His body was broken for you. This is the new covenant - forever lasting, forever binding, and sealed by His sacrifice. The communion table reminds us: God is a promise keeper, even when we're promise breakers. Understanding The Story | A Messy Family | Pastor Kenny Mills
Ever wonder why God's family tree includes murderers, adulterers, and broken people? Because that's exactly who we are—and He chose us anyway. Here's the beautiful truth: if you belong to Christ, you're Abraham's seed and an heir to God's promise (Galatians 3:26-29). You're not an orphan—you're chosen, part of a royal priesthood, called out of darkness into His wonderful light. Your family might be messy. This church family is messy too. But God specializes in using broken people to bring about miracles. That's what makes it family—real, imperfect, and loved anyway. Understanding The Story | A Wedding | Pastor Kenny Mills
From the very beginning, God's story has been about a wedding. When God created Eve and brought her to Adam in the Garden, it was the first wedding ceremony—a beautiful picture of what was to come. Genesis 2:22 says God "brought her to him." Revelation 21 shows us the bride "beautifully dressed for her husband." The question is simple: Will you say yes to His invitation? He's already paid the price. He's waiting for you. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. Understanding The Story | The Problem & The Plan | Pastor Kenny Mills
In the beginning, God created everything and called it good. When He created you, He called it VERY good. His plan from before time began was simple yet profound: to be in relationship with you forever. Sin entered the world and broke that perfect relationship, but here's the beautiful truth - God's plan never changed. From Genesis to Revelation, the story arc bends toward redemption. Jesus, the Word who spoke creation into existence, became flesh and died to restore what was broken. His innocent blood was shed so you could be made right with God. The Lord Builds The House | Set The Sails | Pastor Kenny Mills
In our final week of "The Lord Builds the House" series, we explored what it means to SET THE SAILS—to raise our lives in full surrender and follow wherever the Spirit of God leads. The wind blows where it wills, and we're called to be ready, willing, and available. John reminds us to test every spirit against Scripture, ensuring it exalts Jesus and bears good fruit. When we truly surrender, we trust that even in the stillness—when no wind is blowing—God is protecting us, preparing us, positioning us exactly where we need to be. The mission remains: reach people far from God and teach them to live as they follow Jesus step by step. The Lord Builds The House | Don't Let It Die | Pastor Kenny Mills
What if everything we've been given dies with us? In Matthew 28, Jesus gave His disciples authority and a mission: to make disciples of all nations. That same calling is ours today. History shows us it can be gone in just one generation. After Joshua died, the next generation "neither knew the Lord nor what He had done for Israel" (Judges 2:10). The mission stopped. The message faded. Evil filled the void. We can't let that happen on our watch. The same God who parted seas, raised Jesus from the grave, and sent the Holy Spirit is calling us to be disciplined followers who make other disciples. Not just believers, but disciple-makers. Your family, your workplace, your community needs you to carry this forward. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. The Lord Builds The House | Love Shows Up | Pastor Kenny Mills
Love isn't just a feeling—it's an action. In Mark 2, four friends literally tore through a roof to get their paralyzed friend to Jesus. They didn't just say they cared; they showed up and did whatever it took. Jesus showed us the ultimate example of love showing up. He came to earth, walked among us, and died on a cross to prove His love for you. That's love in action. Now He calls us to love one another the same way—not just with words, but with our presence, our sacrifice, and our willingness to break through barriers for each other. The Lord Builds The House | Invest With Intention | Pastor Kenny Mills
In Matthew 25, Jesus shares the parable of the talents. The master entrusted his servants with wealth—not just pocket change, but 20 years of wages per bag of gold. Two servants invested and doubled what they received. One buried his out of fear. The master's response? "Well done, good and faithful servant" to those who stewarded well. God has entrusted YOU with wealth—your time, talent, and treasure. Are you burying it in fear or investing it with intention? The Lord Builds The House | Unwavering In Truth | Pastor Kenny Mills
This week's message challenges us to be UNWAVERING IN TRUTH. Pastor Kenny reminds us that Jesus declared, "I am the way and the TRUTH and the life" (John 14:6). Not a truth. THE truth. The enemy prowls, seeking to deceive and destroy. But we have a weapon: God's Word. When you read God's Word, you'll know His will. When you know His will, you can go His way. It's that simple, yet that profound. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. The Lord Builds The House | Build To Last | Pastor Kenny Mills
Are you building something that will last? In our new series “The Lord Builds The House,” we're discovering that unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain (Psalm 127:1). Jesus warned that many will build their lives on sand—careers, money, relationships—only to watch it all crash when the storms come. But those who build on the Rock, on Christ alone, will stand firm. The question isn't whether storms will come, but whether your foundation can withstand them. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. The Pause Before The Promise | Pastor Kenny Mills
Join us this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and lean into the powerful truth of the pause before the promise. Between the Old Testament and the manger in Bethlehem, there was a long pause—quiet on the page, but not quiet in the world. God was still moving, preparing, and working His plan. And today, we’re living in a similar pause—waiting for Jesus to return, while life keeps happening all around us. This Christmas, we’ll discover how God is still at work in the waiting and how the hope of Jesus anchors us right now. Pastor Kenny Mills teaches a powerful message for Christmas, the Gospel on full display, calling those to believe who might need to receive the gift of Faith!

Let Us Adore Him | From Rejection to Acceptance | Pastor Kenny Mills
Mary and Joseph didn't just get turned away from a crowded inn. They were rejected by their own family. The word Luke uses isn't "hotel" - it's "kataluma," meaning the guest room in a family home. Jesus, the Savior of the world, was born in the lower level with the animals because His own family said, "There's no room for you here." Before He ever preached a sermon or performed a miracle, Jesus knew rejection. And yet this same Jesus - who was rejected at birth - offers YOU complete acceptance. He paid the price for every sin, every mistake, every reason you think you're unworthy. To learn more about Home Church, visit www.myhomechurch.cc, or send us a message at [email protected]. Let Us Adore Him | The Magi's Journey | Pastor Kenny Mills
The wise men traveled 900-1,200 miles over 4-12 months to worship a King they'd never met. They brought their best gifts. They risked everything. They didn't worship the journey—they worshiped Jesus. This Christmas season, it's easy to fall in love with the lights, the decorations, the feelings of the season. But what's our posture toward Jesus Himself? Small Things, Big Miracles | Pastor Kenny Mills
What if the miracle isn't just about what God multiplies, but about what we're willing to open our hands and give? Gratitude always demands a response of generosity. Father, Forgive Them Because I Can't | Joseph's Journey to Reconciliation | Pastor Kenny Mills
As we continue in our series Father Forgive Them, Because I Can't, we learn more about Joseph and the betrayal he experienced at the hands of his brothers. However, what looked like the end for Joseph was really the beginning of a season of preparation. The Lord had much bigger plans for Joseph than he could have ever imagined, and Joseph's perspective was shifted to focus on heavenly things. As a result, Joseph was not only blessed, he blessed the hands who hurt him. This is the gospel on display! Father, Forgive Them Because I Can't | The Stolen Blessing | Pastor Kenny Mills
We kicked off our series "Father, Forgive Them Because I Can’t" by examining the lives of Isaac, Jacob, and Esau. The wound of betrayal is deep, and the act of true forgiveness has to be wrestled with daily. Esau chose not to let what happened to him determine the trajectory of his life. Praise God for the power of forgiveness that He first showed us by sending His Son as a sacrifice for our sins! While forgiveness isn’t immediate in our flesh, it releases us from the bondage of control and allows the Lord to do a radical work in our hearts and in the lives of those who have hurt us. When Wind Breathes Fire | An Outpouring of The Spirit | Pastor Kenny Mills
This week, we concluded our series "When Wind Breathes Fire" by learning about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church in Acts 2. Revival, Awakening, and Outpouring didn't stop with the Church in Acts 2. We learned that, once filled with the Holy Spirit, God's people devoted themselves to teaching, learning, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. When Wind Breathes Fire | Marks of True Revival | Pastor Kenny Mills
Revival starts in the heart of the believer, and revival starts with repentance! Today, we started our series When Wind Breathes Fire, looking at the church in Laodicea and how Jesus challenges them to lean into their faith. We cannot remain dormant in these last days. Repentance allows us to realign with the Lord, strengthening our relationship with Him and making us hungry to see His name declared in all the earth. Homecoming | The Eldest Son | Pastor Kenny Mills
Today was powerful. We continued in our Homecoming series, learning the perspective of the older son, the one who never left home.Jesus uses this parable to hold a mirror to the Pharisees, who were still viewing salvation through the lens of hard work. They hardened their hearts toward lost sheep and found no value in rejoicing with those who accept Jesus and His Gospel.Aren’t we like that, too? We’ve been steady, firm, consistent, and the praise falls on those who have freshly come Home. We should REJOICE! Homecoming | Rebel, Repent, Return | Pastor Kenny Mills
This week, we kicked off a brand new series, Homecoming, where we’re exploring the Parable of the Prodigal Son from four biblical perspectives. Sunday, Pastor Kenny walked us through the son’s view of his journey through the wilderness, and how we find ourselves in similar situations throughout life. We rebel because we think freedom is on the horizon. But what often looks like freedom usually turns into famine. The son’s earthly dreams led him to desperation. BUT GOD! Just like his father welcomed him home with joy and celebration, so too does the Lord delight in us trusting Him with our future!! His Word never returns void, and He’s still saving souls! "Are we required to give a tithe?" | Part 1 | Pastor Kenny Mills
This week, we kick off a series called The Truth Behind the Tithe, where Pastor Kenny walks us through the theology of stewardship. Today, we looked at giving in the Old Testament. We are called to give to the Lord, because nothing we have is really ours in the first place. By giving to God, we are furthering His Kingdom. We get so wrapped up in percentages and numbers that we forget the purpose in giving is to show honor and glory to our King. There is still hope in your healing, whether it’s in this life, or in our glorified bodies when we return to the Lord!
