Why the World Cup Brings The World Together
Every four years the world stops.Different languages.Different cultures.Different flags.Different religions. And somehow...We all gather around one game.In this episode I reflect on why the FIFA World Cup has become the greatest unifying sporting event on Earth, why competition doesn't always create division, and what soccer can teach us about humanity.I also share my semifinal thoughts, my predictions for the final, and why I believe the greatest lesson of the World Cup has very little to do with who lifts the trophy.Whether you're a lifelong soccer fan or someone who simply loves understanding people, I hope this episode gives you a new way to see the beautiful game. Thanks for listening.-JA

I sold my World Cup Tickets
I had tickets to see Mexico play in the FIFA World Cup... and I sold them.It sounds crazy.Maybe it was.In this episode I talk about the tension between living for today and preparing for tomorrow, why the right decision doesn't always feel like the exciting one, and what this experience taught me about peace, maturity, marriage, and making choices you'll still be proud of the next morning.Sometimes wisdom doesn't look glamorous.Sometimes it just looks responsible.

What Was On His Mind — A Good Friday Meditation
Today is Good Friday. And I wanted to sit with it. Really sit with it.Not the doctrine. Not the theology. Not the church version. The human version. What was actually on his mind? When the torture started. When the weight of the cross hit his shoulders. When he looked out and saw his mother. When the hours stretched on and he didn't know when it would end.In this Good Friday episode I explore what I believe was the mindset that carried Jesus through the passion — and what that means for the suffering in your own life right now. This one is slow. Quiet. Intentional. Recorded at 7:30am on a Friday morning from my room in the silence. It felt right. What we cover:What Jesus was probably actually thinking during the crucifixionThe weight of the cross — and what 100 pounds on a broken body actually meansThe desire to keep going when you know the end is painfulWhy love is the only thing that transforms suffering into something meaningfulWhat it means to be pierced and have love pour outHow the Good Friday story is actually the story of your own lifeThe one question worth asking God this weekend"Could you let love flow through you when you're broken — because love was there to begin with?"That's the question.Happy Good Friday my friends. Stephanie's first HyRox competition is today. Life goes on. And somehow that's the point. 🙏No pitch today. Just the message. If this touched you — share it with one person who needs it this Good Friday.🎙️ The Justin Aguirre Podcast — Apple & Spotify📲 @justinaguirre7🔗 linktr.ee/justinaguirre

You don’t get resurrection without death
We're almost there.33 episodes into a 40 day Lenten series and this one might be the most important one yet.I'm recording this with a wrapped ankle, a race I've trained months for now in jeopardy, and that quiet voice in my head saying "of course this always happens."But today isn't about the ankle.Today is about what suffering is actually for.In this episode I talk about the resurrection pattern — the one that's woven into every faith tradition, every great life, every flower that grows from concrete. The pattern that says pain and darkness and burial aren't the end of the story. They're the beginning of it.This is the message of Easter. And it's for anyone who needs to hear it right now. What we cover:Why we say "of course this always happens to me" and what it reveals about our deepest beliefsThe resurrection pattern written into nature, the body, and every great human storyWhat the Easter story actually means stripped of doctrine and religionWhy there is no Sunday without Friday — no resurrection without deathThe seed buried in darkness and what it becomesWhy your suffering right now is not in vainA message for everyone hurting, confused, and doubtful this Holy WeekThis one isn't about fitness. It's not about programs or transformation photos. It's about the thing underneath all of it.The reason any of us keep going."The joy of Easter Sunday morning is far greater than the pain you suffer now."Hold on. We're almost home. 🙏If this episode touched you — share it with one person who needs to hear it this Holy Week. That's the only ask today.🎙️ The Justin Aguirre Podcast — Apple & Spotify📲 @justinaguirre7🔗 linktr.ee/justinaguirre

Rejected For A Year…Then This Happened
I got rejected by a client for almost a year.He kept saying:“Not yet.”“Maybe later.”“I’ll let you know.”Most people would’ve moved on.But I didn’t.And today… I sat across from him at breakfast while he told me:“You changed my life.”In this episode, I talk about:– why most people quit too early– how rejection is actually building you– what persistence really means in business and relationships– and how this connects to something even deeper… faithIf you’re building something, chasing a dream, or trying to help people…This one’s for you.

Everyone feels behind in life (Here's the truth)
Most people feel like they’re behind in life.Behind on money.Behind on success.Behind on where they “should” be.But what if that feeling… is the problem? In this episode, I break down:– why we constantly feel like we’re behind– how comparison quietly controls your life– and why nothing will ever feel like “enough” if you keep chasingThis isn’t about giving up.It’s about finally finding peace where you are…so you can actually move forward the right way.If you’ve been feeling pressure, anxiety, or like you’re falling behind…This one’s for you.

Jesus Wasn’t Soft (We Got Him Wrong)
Most men today are confused. You’re told to be:– aggressive– dominant– emotionlessOr the complete opposite:– soft– passive– “just love everyone”But what if both are wrong? In this episode, I break down:– why most men misunderstand masculinity– how Jesus actually lived (beyond the soft image)– the balance between strength and compassion– and why avoiding your “beast” is actually weaknessThis isn’t about becoming aggressive. It’s about becoming grounded, disciplined, and real.If you’re a man trying to find your edge in today’s world…This one’s for you.-JA

The future of health is scary
Where is all of this going? With AI, social media, and screen time at an all-time high…are we actually getting healthier—or worse? In this episode, I break down:why modern fitness is completely different from how humans used to livehow technology is slowly making people more unhealthy (physically and mentally)why even with MORE access to workouts, diets, and information… people are still strugglingand what it actually takes to stay healthy in a world designed to distract youThis isn’t about fear. It’s about awareness.Because the truth is…👉 the people who win in the future won’t be the ones chasing shortcuts👉 they’ll be the ones who stay consistent, disciplined, and grounded in real habitsIf you’ve been feeling off, distracted, or inconsistent lately…this episode will hit home.💬 If this resonated with you, share it with someone who needs it.📩 And if you’re ready to take your health seriously and stop guessing, message me “READY” on Instagram.

Not everything happens for a reason..
I twisted my ankle this week. And instead of asking “why,” I caught myself going down a path I’ve been on before…Trying to explain everything.Trying to make it make sense.Trying to connect it back to God.But what if not everything has a reason? In this episode, I talk about:• Why life doesn’t always make sense• Letting go of the need to explain everything• How this changed the way I see God• And finding peace in the simple truth: “it just is”Sometimes the answer isn’t deeper thinking…Sometimes it’s acceptance. If you’ve ever gone through something that made no sense, this one’s for you.

Why I make coffee for my wife every morning..
Since the day I got married, I’ve made my wife coffee every single morning. Not because I always feel like it.But because of what it represents. In this episode, I talk about:• The power of small daily commitments• Why consistency matters more than emotion• How habits shape your identity over time• What doing one simple thing every day can do to your lifeMost people are chasing big changes…But real transformation is built in the small things you repeat daily. So here’s the question:What’s one thing you could commit to doing every single day for the rest of your life?If this episode hit you, share it with someone who needs it.

Discipline Isn’t Always Good — Here’s Why
Discipline is one of the most praised traits in fitness, business, and life. But what happens when discipline goes too far?In this episode, I talk about the side of discipline that no one really speaks about — when it becomes your identity… and starts working against you.We get into:• The difference between using discipline vs becoming it• How discipline can turn into perfectionism and legalism• Why some people lose joy, freedom, and meaning in their life• The hidden trap of “never missing”• What real balance actually looks like (and why it’s not 50/50)This episode is for people who are already disciplined…but feel like something is missing. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything “right” but life is losing its color — this is for you.If this hit home, share it with someone who needs to hear it.And if you’re ready to build a body and a life that actually feels good to live in, message me “RESET” on Instagram.

Before You Hire a Coach.. You Need to Hear This
What actually happens when you get on a call with a coach? In this episode, I break down how I think about coaching, transformation, and what really drives people to change.Because it’s not just about workouts. It’s not just about food. It’s about understanding:• Your real “why” (not the one you say out loud)• The patterns that have kept you stuck for years• The emotional drivers behind weight loss and fitness• Why most people start… and never finishI’ve worked with dozens of clients and seen the same cycles over and over again.Motivation → fall off → restart → repeat. If you’ve been stuck in that loop, this episode is for you.If you’re thinking about working with me, this will give you a real look into how I approach coaching and transformation.

I Quit Caffeine for 11 Weeks, Here’s What Happened
For the first time since I was 18 years old, I went 11 weeks without caffeine. No coffee. No mate.No Diet Coke.No green tea.Nothing.Today I took my first sip again — and it revealed something deeper than just caffeine addiction. In this episode I talk about:• Why caffeine is the “holiest addiction” in modern culture• What happens to your nervous system when you remove stimulants• The hidden dependency most people don’t realize they have• Why real discipline is often about removal, not addition• What I learned about my real energy levels without caffeineThis episode is part of my Lent series, where I explore fasting, discipline, identity, and spiritual growth. If you feel like you need coffee just to function… this episode might challenge you.Try the experiment.Remove something.See who you are without it.If you enjoyed the show, please leave a rating or review — it helps the podcast grow more than you know.

You don't have to be intense to feel alive
You Don’t Have to Be Intense to Feel AliveModern culture constantly pushes intensity.Move faster.Work harder.Push more.Stay motivated. But what if feeling alive doesn’t require intensity at all?In this episode, Justin reflects on burnout, social media culture, and the pressure to constantly perform in order to feel like we’re living fully. He explores the idea that true aliveness may actually come from something much quieter — presence.Topics in this episode include:• Why modern culture glorifies intensity• The hidden burnout behind hustle and productivity• Learning to slow down without feeling like you’re falling behind• A powerful lesson from a moment with Jay’s 99-year-old grandmother• Why presence can create deeper aliveness than constant stimulationSometimes the most alive moments in life are the quietest ones. And sometimes the greatest shift we can make is realizing we don’t have to prove anything to feel fully alive. If you enjoyed this episode, consider sharing it with someone who might need to hear this message. And if you enjoy the podcast, leaving a review or rating helps more people discover the show.

The Hidden Loneliness of Self-Improvement
The Hidden Loneliness of Self-ImprovementSelf-improvement sounds exciting. We talk about discipline, habits, and becoming the best version of ourselves. But there’s a part of the journey that almost nobody talks about…Loneliness. When you begin changing your habits, mindset, and priorities, you often start drifting away from the environments and people you once connected with.In this episode, Jay explores the quiet season that happens during personal growth — the moment when your old life no longer fits, but your new life hasn’t fully formed yet.Topics covered in this episode:• Why self-improvement can create unexpected loneliness• The spiritual meaning behind the 40-day Lenten journey• Why distancing from old habits and environments is sometimes necessary• How loneliness becomes a transition, not a destination• The importance of building new community during growthIf you’re in a season where you feel like you’re outgrowing old habits, old environments, or even old versions of yourself — this episode is for you.Because growth often requires a temporary wilderness. But you’re not meant to stay there forever. If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who might need to hear it.And if you enjoy the podcast, please leave a rating or review. Difference between Discipline & Identity
In today’s episode, Justin breaks down one of the most misunderstood ideas in fitness and self-development: discipline. Most people believe transformation comes from forcing discipline — grinding through workouts, pushing through diets, and trying to stay consistent long enough to get results. But what if discipline isn’t actually the foundation? What if the real key is identity?Justin explores the difference between living a life powered by discipline versus living from a deeper identity — a place where health, consistency, and self-respect simply become part of who you are.In this episode, you’ll learn:• Why discipline alone often leads to burnout• The hidden difference between habits and identity• Why athletes experience discipline differently than beginners• How self-worth and identity shape long-term health• Why true consistency feels lighter, not heavierIf you’ve ever struggled to stay disciplined with your fitness, diet, or personal growth, this episode will challenge the way you think about transformation.Because the real shift isn’t forcing yourself to change…It’s becoming the kind of person who naturally lives that way.If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who might need to hear it.And if you enjoy the show, please leave a review or rating — it helps more people discover the podcast.

How marriage changed my body
How Marriage Changed My BodyGetting married changed the way I think about my body, fitness, and motivation. When you're single, a lot of your motivation comes from performance — looking attractive, feeling confident, attracting someone, and proving something to the world. But what happens when you finally find the person you're going to spend your life with? That pressure disappears. And suddenly you’re left with a deeper question:Why do I take care of my body now?In this episode, I talk about the shift that happens when love becomes secure and performance is no longer the main driver behind fitness. We explore:• How attraction and sexual energy influence our motivation to stay fit• Why many couples gain weight after entering relationships• The difference between performing for others and choosing health for yourself• Why maintaining your body becomes harder once you’re truly loved as you are• The deeper psychological relationship we have with our bodiesMarriage didn’t just change my life — it changed how I relate to my body. And it forced me to ask a deeper question:Do I want to be healthy for myself… or was I doing it for everyone else?If this episode resonates with you, share it with someone who might need to hear it.And if you enjoy the podcast, please leave a rating or review on Spotify or Apple Podcasts — it helps more people discover the show.

The Secret I've been holding
The Secret I’ve Been Holding For 10 DaysToday’s episode is a little different.Instead of teaching or breaking down a concept, I’m sharing a personal story that has been unfolding in my life over the past year. Two years ago I met my wife in Mexico. One year ago we got married.Since then we’ve been navigating the long, stressful immigration process that many international couples face.Paperwork.Interviews.Waiting.Uncertainty.At one point, our application was even denied — a moment that shook our entire future. But recently something incredible happened.Ten days ago I received life-changing news… and I’ve been holding it in ever since. In this episode I talk about:• The emotional reality of the immigration process• The stress of making mistakes that could affect someone’s future• What it feels like to hold life-changing good news• Why sometimes life works out in ways we never expected• Finding peace during seasons of uncertaintyTonight I’m finally revealing the news to my wife. And I wanted to share this moment with you before it happens.Sometimes the hardest seasons remind us of something simple:Even when life feels chaotic… things often find their way back to peace. If this episode spoke to you, share it with someone who might need a little hope today. And if you enjoy the podcast, take a moment to leave a rating or review — it helps more people discover the show.

1 thing I'd do different if I started my fitness journey today
If you could go back to day one of your fitness journey and change one thing — what would it be?For me the answer was simple.I would have documented everything from the very beginning. Not when I had results. Not when I looked different. From day one — scared, uncertain, and with no idea if it was going to work.In this episode I share why public documentation might be the single most underrated tool for transformation — and why the messy beginning is exactly what needs to be shared most. What we cover:Why I waited 2.5 months before sharing my own transformation and why I regret itThe fear of going public with a goal before you know if it'll workWhy exposure and accountability are more powerful than motivation or disciplineHow documenting your journey creates pressure that actually helps you finishWhy the messy middle never gets shared — and why it shouldHow sharing your journey inspires you just as much as it inspires othersWhy creators create for themselves first — and everyone benefitsThe before and after photo is powerful. You need something to train for..
You Need Something to Train ForWhile preparing for my upcoming HYROX race, I realized something important about fitness — and about life. When you have something you're preparing for, everything changes.Your workouts have meaning.Your discipline has purpose.Your energy comes alive. But when you're just “living the lifestyle” with no goal, no deadline, and nothing on the horizon, fitness can start to feel repetitive… even boring. In this episode I talk about why having a challenge, competition, or goal can completely transform your fitness journey. Not because the event itself matters that much — but because of the person you become while preparing for it.We talk about:• Why training for HYROX reignited my excitement for fitness• The difference between maintaining a lifestyle and preparing for something• Why humans need deadlines and goals to feel alive• How competitions and challenges bring color back into fitness• Why the real reward isn’t the event — it’s who you become along the wayWhether it's a marathon, a HYROX race, a 90-day transformation, or any personal challenge — having something to work toward changes everything. If your fitness journey feels stale right now, this episode might be exactly what you need.Work With MeIf you're ready to rebuild your body and bring structure back to your health and fitness, reach out to me directly.I’m currently working with a small group through my 90-Day Rebuild Program.Send me a message and let me know you're a listener of the podcast.Enjoy the show?Leave a 5-star rating or review on Apple or Spotify. What's it feel like to be ripped?
Everyone wants to know what it feels like to finally be lean.To be ripped. To have the body you've been working toward. So I'm going to tell you the truth.Because I've been there. 6% body fat. Veins down to my abs. The most shredded I've ever been in my life. And what I found on the other side might surprise you.In this episode I share what getting truly lean actually feels like — the good, the unexpected, and the thing nobody in fitness will ever admit. What we cover:What it genuinely feels like to be at your leanestWhy you adjust to every body type — including the one you're chasingThe comparison trap that never goes away no matter how lean you getWhy the body exposes you instead of changing youWhy peace has to come before the six pack — not afterWhat real healing actually looks like and where it comes fromThis isn't your typical fitness motivation episode. This is the conversation your coach is too scared to have with you.Because the truth is — if you don't have peace right now in the body you're in — you won't find it on the other side of a transformation either. The game has always been interior. The quiet war before the wins
When you start a new fitness journey, the beginning feels exciting.Motivation is high.Energy is high. You feel ready to change everything. But what nobody talks about is the phase that comes next. The withdrawal. The irritation. The moment where the excitement fades and the work begins.I call this the quiet war before the wins.In this episode we talk about:• Why the first few weeks of a fitness journey feel harder than expected• The nervous system shift that happens when you change your habits• Why most people quit during the “quiet war” phase• How pushing through the early resistance leads to real momentum• Why discipline becomes easier after the first few weeksEvery meaningful transformation has a phase where nothing feels exciting anymore. That’s when the real work begins. And that’s when the real wins are built.Today marks Day 1 of my 90-Day Rebuild.I’m helping a small group of clients rebuild their body, habits, and lifestyle between now and summer. Two spots remain. If you’re ready to stop restarting and finally build a body you’re proud of:DM me on Instagram and let me know you’re a listener of the podcast. If this episode helped you, please take a moment to leave a 5-star rating or review on Apple or Spotify. It helps more people find the show.

There’s a difference between transforming your body…and building a life you can actually sustain. In this episode, I talk about the day I decided to go all-in on my transformation during COVID — 100 perfect days, zero missed macros, zero skipped workouts, insane discipline… and what happened after.Because nobody talks about what comes next. What happens when you get the result? What happens when strict becomes your identity? What happens when discipline creates tension instead of peace? In this episode we break down:• Why extreme strictness works — but doesn’t last• The hidden trap of “just maintain it”• The difference between operating from pain vs operating from peace• How to build a sustainable 90-day transformation• Why self-respect beats self-hate every time• How to make fitness a lifestyle instead of a phaseThe goal isn’t just a 90-day result. The goal is peace with food.Peace with the gym.Peace with yourself. And from that place — real, lasting change.Enrollment opens March 3rd.Runs through June 1st.I’m working with 5 people only.If you’re ready to build a body you’re proud of — without destroying your relationship with yourself — this is your window.DM me on Instagram and let me know you’re a listener of the podcast for a special rate.Let’s build something real.Leave a 5-star review on Spotify. It helps the show grow and helps more people find this message.

I don't know who I am right now..and that's okay.
Every man goes through it.The moment when who you were doesn't fit anymore — but who you're becoming isn't fully formed yet. That's the in-between phase. And most people, when they get there, do the one thing that keeps them stuck forever — they go back to what used to work.In this episode I get personal about my own in-between season right now. The marriage. Stopping world travel. The business shifting. The injury. The habits that no longer serve me. And what I'm learning about building stability on the other side of everything changing at once.If you've ever felt like you don't know who you are anymore — this one is for you.In this episode:Why the in-between phase happens and what triggers itWhat most people do wrong when life starts changingWhy clinging to old habits in a new season destroys your growthHow to find stability when everything feels uncertainWhy the only way forward is through — not backThis is the conversation nobody is having in the health and fitness space. Because real transformation isn't just about your body. It's about who you're becoming while your body changes.Want To Work With Justin? If you're in your own in-between phase right now — feeling the pull between who you were and who you're being called to become — and you know that your body and your health are part of that next chapter —I want to work with you.My 90-day one on one coaching program isn't just a meal plan and a workout routine. (It's Not Willpower)Day ~7/40 in my Lent series: Through 75+ client transformations, I've seen the real blocker isn't discipline, motivation, or calories—it's deep down not believing you deserve the change. We chase external fixes, but when self-worth erodes, everything crumbles: slips feel inevitable, motivation fades, and the cycle restarts. True progress starts with reclaiming that inner belief—worthiness isn't earned by looking a certain way; it's already yours. This episode dives into why faith in yourself (even unseen) beats out-grinding life, how to hold it through hard days, and why it leads to lasting body + peace. If you've fallen off and can't figure out why... this is for you.Raspy voice & cold included—real talk only. 💪DM @justinaguirre7 "WORTHY" for podcast listener discount on 1:1 coaching—we'll build belief that sticks.Leave a 5-star rating/review if this hit your soul—it helps the show reach more people stuck in the loop. Much love. -JA

The Discipline of Rest
We live in a world that rewards speed, grind, and constant output. But what if the very thing you’re chasing is being blocked by your inability to slow down?In this episode, I talk about why high performers struggle with rest — and why rest isn’t laziness, regression, or weakness. It’s strategy.I share practical tools for living from a rested state in an accelerated world — from digital boundaries to nervous system resets — and why the most creative, abundant decisions come from stillness, not stress. If you feel successful on the outside but restless on the inside, this one’s for you.

AI as a Mirror
In this episode, I share something unexpected: how AI — specifically ChatGPT — became a non-judging mirror during a season of identity transition. This isn’t about hype or fear around technology. It’s about clarity.I talk about how using AI as a reflective tool helped me organize my thoughts, return to myself, and integrate parts of my life that felt scattered.Used unconsciously, technology can numb us.Used intentionally, it can sharpen us.This episode is about autonomy, reflection, and learning to think for yourself in a world that’s accelerating fast.

Receptors Fully Reset - 0% Caffeine
So right after Ash Wednesday kicked off Lent on February 18, 2026, I decided to dive into one of the sneakiest addictions out there—caffeine. For 20+ years, coffee and yerba mate were my daily ritual, my "can't function without it" fuel. But a month ago, I quit cold (well, tapered hard), and now I'm sharing the raw truth: life without the crutch is clearer, calmer, and way more real. If Lent is about fasting to draw closer to God, this was my unexpected sacrifice—and it's hitting different.Main Benefits I've Felt (One Month In):Steady, natural energy—no more crashes or afternoon slumps.Best sleep of my life—deeper, more restorative, no wired wake-ups.Anxiety dropped massively (from like 50% of my day to 5%)—caffeine was quietly amping my racing thoughts.Clearer mind, less fog, sharper focus without the artificial hype.Reset hunger cues, no wild cravings, and a true sense of baseline me—not stimulated, just present. How I Did It – Practical Tips to Quit:Taper smart: Started by switching to yerba mate (still caffeine but tricked my brain off coffee).Reduce gradually: Cut portions day by day—from big cups (3–6/day, ~500mg total) down to 2, then 1, then instant, half-spoons, quarters, until decaf.Swap rituals: Herbal teas, warm lemon water, or just sipping nothing—break the "need a cup to start" habit.Push through withdrawal: Expect headaches/fog for 3–9 days; hydrate, move, pray through it.Reframe it: Treat caffeine as a tool (maybe occasional for hikes or writing), not a daily crutch.Spiritual Tie-In: Lent reminds us "from dust you came, to dust you return"—Jesus fasted 40 days in the desert, relying fully on the Father. Giving up food (or stimulants) creates emptiness, humility, and sensitivity to God. Caffeine blocked my rest and amped my busyness; quitting it slowed me down, helped me surrender anxiety through breath and release, and let me feel who I really am without the buzz. It's fasting for awareness—less dependence on stuff, more on the true Source. If this resonates, especially if you're addicted and thinking "no way I could quit," that's exactly where I was. Try it this Lent—even a week shows you something. You're stronger than the habit. Drop a comment: What's your crutch? Let's journey light together.Day 3 drops tomorrow—stay tuned. Peace.-JA
