Zechariah 8:12. You ever wondered why The Fruit (singular) of the Spirit, yields multiple aspects in our character? In the beginning we were told, "from Eve would come a Seed". Zechariah told us the Seed would become a vine, Isaiah told us the Seed would be bruised as an offering for sin. And Jesus said, "remain in me and you will bear much fruit" and so i ask you, What is The Fruit of Covenant? This episode begins in Genesis and ends in Revelation. A seed must be buried before it springs up to new life, likewise Jesus was buried and rose again that we may share of the fruit of his covenant. 

Luke 22:14-20. Jesus comes riding on a donkey, the triumphal entry of the Lord, followed by a warriors banquet, "do this in remembrance of me" What is Holy Communion? How do you know you're partaking in the Lord table? When Jesus was teaching his disciples about the holy communion they themselves said "This is a hard teaching, who can accept it?" Now we simply accept the teaching but don't understand it. Melchizedek offered Abraham bread and wine 3,993 years ago, Abraham was given the Passover 3,005 years ago, Jesus gave us the Holy Communion 1,993 years ago, do you understand the depth oh His words when Jesus said, "I have eagerly desire to share this Passover meal with you" This episode will break down the partaking of Holy Communion as we unveil part four of our covenant series, Covenant with the Lord. 

Zechariah 9-13. While dissecting marriage, covenant and divorce, we see the union of man and woman as a reflection of Gods covenant with the world. Yet there is an enemy who remains unseen, dark spiritual forces who desire to break the bonds of God. These are called kings, princes, rulers, beasts, and even gods! Why do these spirits desire rebellion from us unto God? What are the methods these opposer of godliness use?  How are we wooed away from He who desires to be one with us? This episode will explain the legal authority and structure behind the separation that comes from sin. The stronghold, built upon the rock that Jesus-dying on the cross, split in two. This is the day of the Lords coming to you, to break the stronghold, tear down the very things that held you captive. The word says He stands and knocks, even in your darkest valley, will you open the gate for the king?

Malachi 1-4. There is a commander to  Gods army who leads with judgment when the people turn to evil. God hates injustice and the corruption of the good He has created. God is a love, and love is expressed by the obedience of his command, and the sharing of his desires. Thus, it is written, "'I hate divorce' says the LORD God of Israel, 'and I hate a mans covering himself with violence as well as his garment'". When marriage is a covering for the spouse, divorce is a violent removal to leave the other exposed. Divorce changes the protector to become the aggressor upon self, their spouse, and even God. There is no grace without the pouring out of judgement, and there is a price for the breaking of covenant that must be paid. In faith a husband is united to his spouse, how then, do we break faith? This episode explains the deeper implications when bonding and separating what God has united to be one. The concept of grace, not as unmerited favor but as favor gained by One who suffered judgement allotting us grace . What is the price of forgiveness, and who credits grace? Matthew 5:32 & 12:31. This episode expands on the spiritual act committed against God when divorcing your spouse.  Jesus said, "what God has joined, let no one separate "yet we are the divisors of covenant. God takes credit for the joining of covenant, while divorce leaves you with a debt of sin. The message of this episode is simple, divorce leads to adultery, adulatory leads to apostasy. While sharing my own experience, we discuss adultery: dissecting the moral, spiritual, and neurological implications of cheating when sleeping with other people. Where does the grace that covers our sin end? Can The Law that justifies divorce overshadow The Grace that cleanses our every sinful act? Join our sound and learn today, how you can avoid disgrace. Recap. The now, 14-week study dissecting covenant, marriage, and divorce via a biblical interpretation. Covenant begins with God, but He is also your first and greatest offense when getting divorce. What does it mean to be unfaithful to God? This episode breaks down the visible example of adultery in our modern world. Can same sex marriage honor God? The word says the two shall become one flesh, yet a soul tie is an adjoining of two not a unification to be one. Special guest, Megan Calderin will share her testimony as a visible compilation of the series, rejecting same sex marriage while embracing the love of Christ by way of covenant. John 10:7-9 & John 10:14-16. You do not overcome spiritual forces by force, but by the identity Christ has perfected in you. In covenant we come to understand, the Lord is the originator, the sustainer, and the finisher of covenant. A man washes a wife with the word, and the Word made flesh washes us with his blood, that we can receive a new identity. This episode explores Gods global plan for salvation and defines the invisible proof of covenant. God’s intention has always been global, but constantly we see hostility and war amidst his creation, how then can we be as one under God? Jesus has redeemed the promise and law to be as one for those found inside covenant.

Deuteronomy 21:15-17. Spiritual warfare is a daily part of life. This, however, is usually engaged with a narrow point of view from what history defines as war. Spiritual warfare is as hostile as you’d expect war to be. There is an imposing force setting itself against the kingdom of God and His citizens. This is seen in the descendancy of Isaac and Ishmael, two brothers claiming rights to the land, an inheritance and its possessions. What are the legal proceedings of spiritual warfare? What is inherently yours, and what needs to be taken? This episode explores the legal distinction when engaging spirits in everyday life. Jesus, the firstborn of all creation coming to redeem, fulfill, and take possession of the land. Spiritual Warfare is biproduct of sin, and a reflection of disbelief in the word of God. Abram was told he would receive an heir who will inherit "the great reward" the presence of God after denouncing material possessions. Yet, he was unfaithful to the promise of God, and conceived Ishmael, likewise our doubt conceives situations that call for warfare. Your every spiritual struggle is tied to a material wanting (your heart), yet the righteous will live by faith. Where does your practice of faith begin in this material world? How do we approach a life holiness while living amidst a sin filled world? You fight!

Genesis Chapters 14-17. Covenant begins with God who calls you by name. Yet, many individuals in the bible went through a spiritual rebirth, which included new name to bring about their purpose. As a wife takes on a new name and along with her husbands possessions, so are those who enter into covenant with God. How then, can we be certain of the identity given to us? Abram became Abraham, Sarai became Sarah, Jacob became Israel, and Simon became Peter. The bible is filled with individuals whose name is defined by their character. In a world of constant validation, how do we break away from the identity crisis that causes us to lose our inheritance? Abram had a son by a slave woman named Ishamael, and palestine was born. Abraham had a son by his wife Sarah named Isaac, and Israel was born. These two brothers have been at war through generations, each declaring their rightful inheritance. This episode will discuss the spiritual rights of ownership in spiritual warfare. The gaining of territory versus the inheritance we receive, not by works, but through the dead of another. This is a foreshadow of our great inheritance, the gift of salvation, the promised Messiah born to us in this Christmas season 2,025 years ago. 

Genesis Chapter 16. The most scandalous demonstrations of infidelity, if your spouse gave you a “hall pass” to sleep with someone else would you do it? Abram is directed to sleep with his wife’s slave to fulfill the promises of God.  Can a bad action reap something good? The breaking of covenant through the eyes of Abram who would become Abraham, “The Father of Faith.” The defilement of marriage, the consequences of infidelity, the nature of accountability and fault. Abrams decision from thousands of years ago is the reason for the present war with Israel in the middle east. The abandonment of your first love in the act of Apostacy. Jesus said “when a man divorces his wife, he makes her a victim of adultery” yet we all fall victim to sin, how then will covenant endure? This episode is a revelation of Gods unchanging word when initiating covenant with us.

Genesis Chapter 15. One of the most underrated chapters in Genesis. The trinity of God with the preincarnate Jesus, the procession of the Spirit as smoke, and the nature of the Father as fire. God is perfect and requires perfection to enter-in covenant, how then can we enter in? The covenant that foreshadows Christ, bringing us into intimacy with God even today. The Covenant with Abram “the father of faith” who believed God and was justified by faith. God doesn’t expect perfection from an imperfect people; He expects a willingness for Him to perfect his work in you as a people.  A husband washes his wife with the word, but God washes his bride with his own spirit. This is the true, “until death do us apart” but there is a love that conquered even death, that can never be torn apart. This is the Covenant of God.

Genesis Chapter 7-9. When the world had fallen into sin, one man received the favor of God. Noah is written to be a righteous, blameless man yet it’s also written that everyone; humanity had a heart inclined to their evil thoughts. How does God persuade a man of something that has never been seen, heard, or done before? How do you enter marriage? We have defined marriage, and the different types thereof. We have discussed character as the factor that determines the quality of your marriage. Now, let’s biopsy the human heart and look at the spiritual anatomy of self.  The second part of “This is Covenant” explains the promise, the faith, and the work needed to enter covenant. Noah and his family enter the Ark to be delivered from the coming rain. The earth is washed away of wickedness, and God is ready to fulfill his promise. Marriage begins with a proposal; how does God begin covenant?

A Special Word from your Host. While dating, marriage, and divorce has become a watered down version of what was intended, I find it worthwhile to go back to the beginning. The bible provides an amazing insight to understanding the types of marriages available, alongside the covenant from which it was created. All marriages are not covenant, but all marriages under God are for covenant. We have evaluated the data and the scriptures concluding that marriage is good for you. But not all marriages are the same. The turmoil that comes with divorce, the splitting of a family affecting our very society unto the next generation. Today 83% of incarcerated males come from an absent father home, is it coincidence? The truth is a woman cannot teach a boy to be a man, because it was never intended to be this way in the beginning. How then can we escape this troublesome life filled with infidelity, rebellion and lust? Covenant. We have been breaking down Gods redemptive, protective work by the way of a promise. God established a covenant with Noah as a promise, washed the world of sin, and established the covenant (fulfilled promise). This was a foreshadow of the covenant when Jesus would wash the world the world with his own blood and bring about a new covenant, with his bride, the church. We have a living hope, an everlasting covenant, awaiting our wedding day and feast. Join us in our series, Covenant. 

Genesis Chapter 6 continued. The world has fallen into a state of depravity, every wicked intrusive thought is practiced on the earth. The populace has been overtaking by sin and a tyrannical offspring that wage war against God. God looks at his creation with the deepest anguish a loving creator can have over those who reject their maker. A broken heart and a wrath ignited. The flood account that reshapes the course of humanity, detailed throughout countless historical sources, and the one man who found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Jesus said “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force” but it is the meek who will inherit the earth, how then can we be saved? God extends a covenant of grace, a covenant to save your marriage, save your sons, save your life. This episode begins to break down God’s intention for covenant, in marriage and in Christianity.  

Genesis Chapter 6.The first command God gave humanity was “be fruitful and multiply” There is a natural obedience and desire for sex that God has woven into the very fabric of our interactions as a society. Sex is the strongest generator of dopamine influencing our repetitive behavior and wanting to have it again.  Women, however, release different hormones than man do, affecting how they bond with each other during, and after intercourse. Genesis chapter six exposes the nations of the world as daughters taken over by tyrants, violent principalities that define our marriages, and sexual relations today. God shows us a way out. Jesus said “up until today they suffer violence” today is the day of salvation.

Genesis, Chapter 5. Jesus said, “wisdom is proved right by her deeds” basically, your wise choices will produce results making evident your decision was indeed correct. The question then becomes, why should you want to get married? We previously disclosed data showing 68% of adults 18–34-year-old want to get married even at the 41% risk of getting divorced, is it worth it? Chapter four and five of Genesis follows the lineage of two brothers, Cain and Seth. The chapter begins with Cain killing his younger brother Abel. Cain later takes a wife and has a son. Seth, Adams’ third born, goes on to father his own son as well. Years progressed and then emerged the picture of two different types of marriages. What marriage will you resemble? One takes, and one gives, how do we define marriage today? Multiple studies show a correlation between marriage today, and the promises of God written thousands of years ago. Let’s connect the dots and find the wisdom of marriage.

Genesis, Chapter 4. Marriage is an ever-present aspect of our society. Pew Research Center did a study on 18–34-year-olds who all said they want to get married. Nonetheless statistics show there is a delaying in marriage with many prioritizing higher education, careers, and financial stability in our modern world. The marriage rate is roughly 41-50% for your first marriage, 60% for your second, and 73% for your third, still two thirds of divorced individuals marry again. Jesus said to the pharisees, “it was not this way in the beginning” does this mean marriage was different in the garden? After the fall? After the law? How do you define marriage, covenant, divorce? A biblical perspective, providing insight to our world today. The first legal marriage, the first mentioned of a polyamorous relationship, the first murder recorded in history. Let’s go back to the beginning and discover marriage, covenant and divorce in our new series, Covenant, where two become one. 

Esther 10, "The Message" This is our series finale on the Book of Esther! This has been an an amazing journey of 12 weeks breaking down Jesus in every chapter of Esther. The last chapter of this series is titled "The Message" Mordecai is last mentioned to have been second in rank to King Xerxes I. of the Persian Empire to. He is last mentioned to be a spokesman, sharing everything that has happened but also speaking for the welfare of all the Jews. This episode brings brings us to the day of Pentecost when Peter empowered by the Spirit of God becomes a spokeman, sharing the gospel message, but what is the gospel? Good news!

Modern at the Mill Press "Feminism & Marriage" gives a timeline of the feminist movement according to the history of it's time. The PEW Research center shows 76% of divorces are initiated by women of which 92% are those of higher education. The numbers say that knowledge increases the possibility of divorce, is this true? What is the goal for feminism according to its founding members? Eve was deceived by the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, and now women are seduced to higher education. The breaking and empowering of femininity through knowledge, "Ariel, it sounds like you're against women pursuing an education?" What does the Bible teach about the character of the woman in Proverbs chapter 31. This episode explores how some women have been incentivized to abandon their home, sacrifice their femininity in exchange for success. A continuation of Modern Independence & Dating, detailing the current affairs here in the North East regarding dating, marriage and divorce.

Esther 9 “Purim, Joy & Sorrow” The day to annihilate the Jews according to the Kings Decree arrives. But, King Xerxes charters constitutional laws allowing for the Jewish people to defend themselves, their homes and their families. This is the civil war of the Persian empire, the biblical parallel to “The Purge” where crime, even murder, is allowed. The death of 75,810 people, with a combined estate of 33 billion dollars today! Untouched. The Jews are empowered because of one man, Mordecai who has gained the favor and status second only to Xerxes himself. This chapter reveals how we are empowered by the actions of one man, Jesus Christ, who sanctions and empowers us to overcome our enemies. This is the origin story of the day of Purim, a Jewish festival to commemorate the day Haman took a gamble on trying to destroy the people of God.

Esther Chapter 8 “Law, Order & Covenant” The antagonist of the Jews is finally impaled. His estate and power removed and handed over to another. How can order be restored in the kingdom? Esther pleads on behalf of her people against the plan Haman had set in motion. Mordecai is given power of attorney to make things right again, creating the first Jewish Charter akin to the Constitution of the United States.  Chapter eight is a foreshadow of Jesus fulfilling the Law and inscribing another in the tablet of our heart. The law created to slaughter a people, now is the law that empowers the believer. All it takes is one word from the King.  

Esther Chapter 7 “A Husbands Fury” A private banquet turns into a scene of bloodshed and accusations of the kingdom’s current affairs. The King is enraged by the byproduct of his own actions, putting his own wife at risk in the very hands of her oppressor. Wrath to destroy and discipline to correct unfold in the most unprecedented manner. What is deserving of one who hurts the one you love? This chapter foreshadows the wrath of God against those who hurt his beloved, his justice to anyone who conspires to oppress his people. All creation waits for the greatest wedding banquet between God and his church, are you invited to sit at the table?

Esther Chapter 6 “A Providers Heart” Haman was enraged at the mere sight of Mordecai, who idly refused to bow down to the authority and honor bestowed upon him by the King. His wife suggested impalement before drastically changing her mind at the end of the chapter, but what changed her mind? The troublesome sleepless night reveals hidden accounts in the kingdom causing the most unexpected decree by the King.  This chapter exposes the character of a provider, painting the image of God as a father, and Jesus who is always working on our behalf. The power of God to change your most out of your control situation for good.

Modern at The Mill Press, Dating and Independence is an episode centered on the current ideals revolving marriage, divorce and feminism. A Biblical breakdown of the current epidemic that attacked the God given model for a functioning marriage. Where does the feminism ideology designed to uplift the women, become the cancer of femininity. The duty of a husband, the role of a wife, do these change with the passing time? Is the God of the bible too traditional to mend the brokenness of the United States? Divorce rates go up, but the word of God remain forever. This episode speaks on the ever-changing nature of our dating world in relation to marriage, divorce, and interpersonal relations of a man and woman in response to the culture.

Esther chapter 5, "Entering the Kings Presence" The Queen of Persia is advised to commit a capital offense by entering the throne room known as the Hall of One Hundred Columns. The foundation of the room stands today in present-day Iran, when it used to showcase the countless victories of the Persian empire. An entire hall detailing the defeat of conquered kings who defied Xerxes. This is where Esther would join in the ranks of those conquered kings and break the one rule: never enter the kings presence unless summoned. Haman, who had used the kings signet to issue a decree for the  annihilation of the Jews has been granted a private dinner prepared and hosted by the Jewish queen of Persia, Esther. A foreshadow of the last supper, a dinner between Esther, Haman, and Xerxes. A noble, a Jew, and a king sit down at a table filled with law, power, compassion, and rage. This chapter captures the heart of God when facing those who rebel against him and the character expected of those that come into his presence. 

Esther, chapter 4 "A Father's Request," Xerxes the Great has given authority to one of his nobles to act on his behalf, concerning the affairs of the Persian empire and the second-third generation Jewish migrants that reside there. The costumes that were meant to set them apart as God's people has made them a target of Haman's rage. A father's request and a daughters decision. Esther is now conflicted between the annihilation of her people and her own security within the palace walls. This chapter reveals to us God's amazing purpose behind our status, our favor, and even our own identity. A historical foreshadow of our own mediator between God and mankind.

Esther, chapter 3 "A Father Love" Esther has become the queen of Persia, the wife of Xerxes I. Its been four years since she separated from her father at the gate of the palace grounds, but even so, Mordecai is constantly found sitting at the royal palace gate. He shows his devotion to the throne reporting an act of treason from the kings own royal officials who guard the gate. A capital offense, a crime punishable by execution, the method? impalement. These men are killed and their bodies are displayed as a warning for any future treason. Until Mordecai himself refused the decree of the King. In this chapter you have the wrath of a king, and the love of a father showing Gods love and justice. The death of the royal subjects, and the schemes of the upper class that leave a kingdom in turmoil; a picture of the spiritual rebellion of the world. 

The book of Esther, chapter 2, "Esther's Obedience" King Xerxes I. is pondering Vashtis punishment and his decree to never see his wife again. His royal counsel proposes a solution, gathering all the beautiful young virgins in the kingdom from whom to choose a new queen. A contest of beauty versus character. An orphaned girl, a third generation migrant from a foreign land, is welcomed to the royal palace. How will she choose to stand out? This chapter foreshadows our own adoption to the royal family of God. How can we win the favor of God amidst his holy angels and saints?

Esther chapter 1 "Vashti's Disobedience" The scroll of Esther is the Hebrew account of one of the most renowned historical figures in history, Xerxes I. While this book falls perfectly with the historical and archeological finding of the Persian King, it reveals to us the marriage that was erased from history due to the spite of an angered wife, Vashti. Chapter 1 accounts for Vashti's wild disrespect to the King, her husband, in front of the entire Persian kingdom. The model queen turns into the worst example for every household within the kingdom, leading Xerxes I to do the unthinkable in a marriage. A picture that foreshadows our rebellion to God, in the garden, and in our everyday choices. One choice leads to a permanent consequence. The wildest marriage is a picture of the defiant to God today. Is there a Vashti in you?

Leviticus 14, "Cleansed to See" A further study into Leviticus chapter fourteen. We previously discussed God, meeting us in the solitude of our quarantine. Now, the regulations have been fulfilled to take us from a distant place into the camp of God. What is the point of washing away our sin? The remedy to our blindness brings inclusion, our healing brings belonging. We are cleansed to see belonging with a new perfective of light. 

Leviticus 14 "A Time for Cleansing" The book of Leviticus "called out" in Hebrew discusses the regulations God has instituted for his people to set them apart. Chapter 14 details the Levitical regulations when someone has a skin disease, which include a time to quarantine. This chapter reveals Gods careful plan to use a time of solidarity as a means to bring us closer, while also showing his mercy to those who have been outcast.
