Having Children Is Less of a Commitment Than Marriage?
What's going on everyone!! Today we're talking about something that might make a few people uncomfortable, but you know that's where some of the best conversations happen. I want to talk about this idea that our thinking around marriage and children might be completely backwards. Somehow we've become a society where people will have a baby together after a few months of dating, but the idea of marriage feels too serious. People say things like: "I don't know if I'm ready to get married." But they'll have a child with someone. And I just want to ask the question: How did we get here? Because from where I'm sitting, having a child with someone is one of the biggest commitments you can make. Not because children are a burden—they're a blessing. But because a child connects you to another person for the rest of your life. Marriage can end. Parenting doesn't. Let's talk about it. Make sure to like, comment and share the episode with your friends and family. Want to get in on an episode or have some ideas you'd like to talk about? DM me and we will get things started!!!

Welcome back to the podcast and the continuation of THE HER 30 JOURNEY SERIESSSS!!! The first episode of part 2. Today we're talking about something that has shaped the lives of so many black women: the idea of being the "strong black woman." We've been told that strength means holding everything together. Being the fixer, the caregiver, everyone depends on, and the one who keeps pushing no matter how exhausted she is. And while strength is beautiful, what happens when strength becomes a prison? Tune in the episode and share your thoughts. Ask yourself these questions.. What am I carrying that I can put down? Have I confused survival with success? What does strength mean to me?

Her 30 Journey : Soft, Not Silent
Welcome back to the podcast! Today we’re talking about something that has shaped the lives of so many Black women: the idea of being the “Strong Black Woman.” We’ve been told that strength means holding everything together. Being the fixer. The caregiver. The one everyone depends on. The one who keeps pushing no matter how exhausted she is. And while strength is beautiful, what happens when strength becomes a prison? What happens when we’re so busy surviving that we forget how to rest, receive, or simply be? Today’s conversation is about redefining what strength looks like. Because being soft doesn’t mean being weak. Being vulnerable doesn’t mean being incapable. And resting doesn’t mean you’ve given up. Sometimes the strongest thing a woman can do is put down what was never hers to carry. Tune in and share your comment!

Trusting God Through the Challenges
Hey y’all, welcome back to the podcast. I’m your host, Michele, and today’s episode is called “Trusting God Through the Challenges.” Join me and my sis Marshe in on this topic. And honestly…this conversation is for anybody who feels tired, confused, discouraged, stuck, or just uncertain about where life is going right now. Because let’s be real — adulthood, motherhood, relationships, careers, finances, purpose…all of it can feel heavy sometimes. And social media makes it seem like everybody else has life figured out while you’re still praying for clarity. So today we just wanted to have a real conversation. No pretending. No “super spiritual” masks. Just honesty about trusting God while still battling fear, disappointment, confusion, and self-doubt. Remember to like, comment and share!

Discipline, Accountability and Instant Gratification
Welcome back!! Today I want to talk about something that almost nobody likes talking about because it requires us to look in the mirror. Discipline. Accountability. Two words we love to preach but hate to practice. And if we’re being honest, most of us don’t really have a motivation problem. We have a comfort problem. We live in a time where everything is instant. Instant food. Instant dating. Instant shopping. Instant entertainment. Instant validation. And when life starts training us to expect quick rewards, patience starts to feel like punishment. But growth has never worked like that. So today, I want this to be raw. Honest. No fake inspirational fluff. Just a real conversation about why so many of us struggle with discipline, why accountability feels so uncomfortable, and what we can actually do to become better. Make sure you subscribe, like and share. Remedy Homework!!! Yes, we are all doing it too. Degree vs. Direction: Are Women Overlooking Good Men?
Let’s talk about it… Are we as women accidentally disqualifying good men… because of a piece of paper? I know that might've triggered somebody but, stay with me. Because in today’s dating world, a man can be hardworking, emotionally available, consistent… and still get passed over because he doesn’t have a degree. But at the same time… some of y’all dated men WITH degrees who couldn’t communicate, couldn’t commit, and definitely couldn’t lead. So what are we really choosing—security, status… or alignment? Let's get into it. Make sure you guys comment, like and share! I'd like to hear from you. And be honest... Would you date a man without a degree if he was financially stable and treated you right? Is education a MUST for you? Why or why not? Be honest, have you passed up on a good man because he didn't "look right" on paper?

This Ain't It: When God Is Calling You Higher
Have you ever looked at your life and quietly thought… this can’t be it? You have the job. The responsibilities. The routine. From the outside, it looks stable. Maybe even successful. But inside? You feel restless. Unfulfilled. Misaligned. In this episode, we’re talking to the men and women who are ready for more — more purpose, more alignment, more obedience to what God is calling them to become. This isn’t about impulsively quitting your job. This is about recognizing when comfort has replaced calling. When fear sounds logical. When you’ve outgrown the version of yourself you built out of survival. We’ll break down: How to recognize when you’re unfulfilled vs. just tired The signs God may be shifting you into a new season Why fear disguises itself as responsibility How to take practical steps toward clarity without blowing up your life If you’ve been feeling stuck, distracted, or quietly dissatisfied, this episode is your permission slip to stop ignoring the nudge. Your frustration might not be failure. It might be divine redirection. Press play — and let’s talk about purpose.

Purpose Over Partnership
Hey guys, and welcome back to the podcast. I’m your girl Chelly Nichole and im here today with my good sis Marshe - and today we’re stepping into a conversation that might challenge you, heal you, and maybe even step on a few toes…but this is all in love. We’re talking about finding purpose before partnership. Because so many of us were taught how to be a wife, a girlfriend, a ride-or-die but not how to be whole. Some of us are single, trying to figure out who we are without a relationship title. Some of us are in relationships still bleeding from past wounds. And some of us love God deeply but still wrestle with the tension between waiting on His timing and wanting companionship now. We were never meant to use relationships to give us identity, direction, or validation. That’s a heavy assignment to put on another human. Marshe and I want to ask the hard questions today: Are we pursuing love - or are we escaping loneliness? Are we building purpose - or just making room for someone else’s? The Bible tells us in Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails..” This isn’t about being anti-love, anti-marriage, or anti-men. This is about alignment. Because when you know who you are and whose you are, you stop auditioning for relationships that were never meant to cast you. So sis, wherever you are, single, healing, dating, praying, or waiting - this conversation is for you. Let’s get into it . Make sure to like, comment and share!

Shaming Your Partner in The Public: When Validation Turns Into Exposure
“Some conversations don’t start because of drama — they start because of discomfort.” Today we’re talking about shaming your partner in public. Not cheating. Not abuse. But something quieter… and just as damaging. We live in an era where memes replace conversations, captions replace accountability, and social media becomes the third person in the relationship. And somehow, we’ve normalized airing dissatisfaction online under the guise of honesty. Last year, the internet watched a moment involving Ayesha and Steph Curry — and whether you agreed or disagreed, it sparked an uncomfortable truth: feelings aren’t the problem. The platform is. Wanting validation doesn’t make you weak. Feeling like you lost parts of yourself supporting your partner doesn’t make you ungrateful. But processing that pain publicly — before privately — can turn love into spectacle. Because when you hint that there’s a problem, the world doesn’t help you fix it. They pick sides. They rewrite narratives. And they plant seeds that don’t belong in your relationship. This episode isn’t about dragging anyone. It’s about boundaries. It’s about respect. It’s about asking ourselves a hard question: Am I sharing to heal… or to be seen? Let’s talk about when validation turns into exposure — and how to protect your relationship in a world that profits from your vulnerability.

Being With The Same Person for 14 years: When Love, Loyalty and Longevity Collide
Today’s episode is a conversation many of us didn’t expect to have—but one we need to. When a relationship that spans over a decade comes to an end, it doesn’t just affect the people involved. It affects the community watching, learning, and believing in love alongside them. Desmond and Kristy were together for 14 years and married for 10. Their recent separation and divorce have sparked a lot of opinions, emotions, and assumptions online. But this episode isn’t about gossip or choosing sides. It’s about what long-term love really costs. What happens when people grow, change, and no longer align? And how do we process the ending of something we thought was meant to last forever? Let’s talk about longevity, heartbreak, accountability, and the truth about being with the same person for most of your adult life. Make sure to like, comment and share!

The Blatant Disrespect: Black Women Last In Line
There’s a kind of exhaustion that comes from always being strong, but rarely being protected. From always being capable, but constantly being questioned. From being the backbone of everything, yet treated like an afterthought. Today’s conversation isn’t about anger—it’s about honesty. It’s about the blatant disrespect Black women experience in workplaces, in relationships, in society, and sometimes even within our own communities. It’s about what it feels like to constantly be last in line for grace, empathy, softness, and understanding. And before anyone gets uncomfortable—this is not about blame. It’s about naming what has been normalized for far too long. Because silence hasn’t saved us. Shrinking hasn’t protected us. Over performing hasn’t earned us respect. So today, we’re telling the truth. Not to tear anyone down—but to finally lift Black women up. Make sure to follow, like and share!!

Trust on Life Support: Can it Be Rebuild?
Welcome back to the podcast!! Today’s conversation is not easy—but it’s necessary. This episode is for the woman who stayed after betrayal… and for the woman who’s still deciding. It’s for the one who loves deeply, questions quietly, and carries a story she doesn’t always feel safe sharing. When cheating happens, trust doesn’t just break—it flatlines. And yet, some of us choose to stay, not because we’re weak, not because we don’t know our worth, but because the situation is layered, emotional, and deeply human. Today, we’re talking about what it really means when trust is on life support. The grief. The hope. The work. The truth behind staying—and what it actually requires to rebuild something that was once broken. This isn’t about convincing you to stay or telling you to leave. It’s about honesty, self-awareness, and learning how to choose yourself—no matter what decision you make. Tune in!!! Like. Comment. Share.

The Wait Isn't Punishment: It's Preparation
Welcome back to The Remedy Podcast—the space where we talk about healing, faith, womanhood, and becoming who God is calling us to be without rushing the process.Today’s episode is titled “The Wait Is Not Punishment; It’s Preparation.” And if you’re listening to this feeling stuck, overlooked, confused, overwhelmed, or quietly asking God, “Did I miss something?”—this episode is for you. This conversation was inspired by two sermons I heard today—one from The Lighthouse Church with Pastor Kieon, titled “Tied to the Timeline,” and the other from 2819 Church, titled “You Did It Anyway.” Together, they spoke directly to the tension many of us are living in: believing God has a plan for us, yet still struggling with waiting for it to unfold. Her 30 Journey: Faith, Fear and Our Future
Faith whispers “yes.” Fear whispers “no.” And the future stands quietly in the middle, leaving us wondering what’s truly possible. For the past five years, my faith has been tested in ways I never expected. Since COVID, I’ve wrestled with the question — did God plan all of this, or is it simply the work of humanity? And when I tell you…the voices were LOUD — I mean loud. Life has shown me that putting complete trust in people will always leave room for disappointment. Fear is a fight we all face internally, even when we do our best to hide it from the world. Fear of rejection. Fear to fail. Fear to start over. Fear of the unknown. All of it can find its way to cripple you...if you let it. In this episode, we’re diving deep into the tug-of-war between faith, fear, and reality — and how to keep believing when the future feels uncertain. Make sure to like, comment and share.

Men or Women; Who is the "prize"?
In this rather bias but conversational episode, I dive into the growing narrative of men and women each viewing themselves as "the prize" in the dating world. Is this confidence or competition? Are these mindsets helping us find the right one—or holding us back? Some say both can be the prize. Others say only one sex has been deemed the prize since the creation of Adam and Eve. I mean, the Bible does say that God created woman for a man. So does that make her the prize no matter what her status is?
