Mother’s Day 2026
Welcome to our Mother’s Day Worship Service at The Vine! 🌿This Sunday, we celebrated and honored the many women represented in our church family — mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, those rejoicing, those grieving, those still waiting, and those faithfully praying through difficult seasons. We also enjoyed a special video message from our kids, reminding us of the love, encouragement, and impact mothers and women have in our lives. Our message came from Matthew 15:21–28, where we encounter a mother whose desperate situation led her to Jesus with bold and persistent faith. Despite obstacles, silence, and discouragement, she refused to walk away.At the center of this passage is a powerful truth:Real faith refuses to quit until it reaches Jesus. In this message, we reflect on:- A desperate mother who ran to Jesus in faith- How silence and waiting can deepen persistent trust- The humility and perseverance that mark genuine faith- The mercy of Jesus toward those who continue seeking HimThis story reminds us never to underestimate what God can do through one praying mother—or through anyone who continues trusting Jesus when the answer doesn’t come immediately.Whether today was joyful, difficult, hopeful, or heavy for you, our prayer is that this service points you to the compassion, mercy, and faithfulness of Christ.#MothersDay #FaithThatPersists #Matthew15 #TrustJesus #TheVineChurch

John 12:20–26 — Sacrifice
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from John 12:20–26, we see a turning point in Jesus’ ministry. As people begin seeking Him from beyond Israel, Jesus speaks about what His true glory will look like—not in power displays, but in sacrifice. At the center of this passage is a powerful truth:True life and lasting glory are found through dying to self and following Jesus in sacrificial surrender.Using the image of a seed falling to the ground, Jesus shows us that there is no fruit without death. What appears like loss is often the very path to life, growth, and eternal impact. In this message, we explore:- How Jesus’ glory is most clearly seen through the cross- Why fruitfulness requires surrender- What it truly means to follow Jesus—not just admire Him- The three marks of a disciple: a new value system, a new direction, and a new promiseJesus calls us beyond surface-level belief into a life of real discipleship—one that costs something, but leads to something far greater. This passage challenges us to ask:Are we holding on to our lives, or are we willing to trust Jesus enough to surrender them?Because the path may be costly—but the reward is eternal.#John12 #FollowJesus #TrueDiscipleship #FaithInAction #TheVineChurch

John 12:12–19 — Hosanna
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from John 12:12–19, we look at Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem—a moment filled with celebration, expectation, and misunderstanding. The crowds welcomed Jesus with praise, shouting “Hosanna!” and declaring Him King. But while they celebrated, many were expecting a different kind of king—one who would meet their immediate desires and reshape their circumstances. Instead, Jesus came as the King they truly needed. At the center of this passage is a challenging truth:If we try to shape Jesus into the King we want, we may miss Him as the King He truly is.In this message, we reflect on:- How the crowd praised the King they wanted—not the King they had- Why Jesus’ humility (riding on a donkey) reveals the kind of King He is- The reality that we don’t always understand what God is doing in the moment- How everyone responds to Jesus—but not everyone truly believesThis passage invites us to examine our own expectations. Are we following Jesus for who He truly is, or for who we want Him to be?May this service lead us to trust Jesus more fully—not just in the moments we understand, but also in the moments we don’t.#John12 #TriumphalEntry #JesusIsKing #FollowJesus #TheVineChurch

John 11:55-12:11 — He is Worthy
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message, we continue through the Gospel of John, arriving at a powerful and deeply personal moment in John 12:1–11. At a dinner in Bethany, three very different responses to Jesus are on display—and each one reveals something about the heart.Mary responds with extravagant worship, pouring out costly perfume at Jesus’ feet. Judas responds with criticism, masking a lack of devotion behind seemingly practical concerns. Meanwhile, others are drawn in, curious or believing, while opposition continues to grow.At the center of it all is this truth:Your response to Jesus reveals what He is worth to you.In this message, we reflect on:- What it means to worship Jesus with our best—not our leftovers- How true devotion is often costly, personal, and wholehearted- The danger of hiding a lack of devotion behind “practicality” or criticism- The reality that Jesus always calls for a response—we cannot stay neutralMary’s act filled the room with fragrance. In the same way, a life fully surrendered to Jesus leaves a lasting impact. This service invites us to ask honest questions:Is our devotion to Jesus convenient—or costly? Are we holding anything back? What would it look like to “break the jar” in our own lives?May this message lead you to deeper worship, greater surrender, and a clearer understanding of who Jesus is.#John12 #TrueWorship #CostlyDevotion #FollowJesus #TheVineChurch

John 11:45-56 — How will you Respond?
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from John 11:45–57, we see a surprising and sobering response to one of Jesus’ greatest miracles. After raising Lazarus from the dead, many believed—but others chose rejection, fear, and ultimately opposition.📖 This passage reminds us that:- Jesus always forces a response—belief or rejection- Fear of losing control can blind us to truth- God can use even evil plans to accomplish His saving purposes- Rejecting Jesus doesn’t lead to neutrality—it leads to hardened heartsWhat should have led to worship instead led to a plot to kill Him. Yet even in this, we see God’s greater plan unfolding—bringing salvation not just to one nation, but to all who would believe. This message challenges us to consider our own response to Jesus. Are we trusting Him fully, or holding on to what we fear losing?May this service encourage you to see clearly, respond in faith, and trust that God is at work—even in ways we don’t immediately understand.#John11 #ChooseFaith #TrustGod #GospelTruth #TheVineChurch

John 11:1-45 — Easter Sunday
Welcome to our Easter service at The Vine! 🌿This Easter, we gathered to celebrate the hope, life, and victory we have in Jesus. Through a powerful message from John 11:1–45, we looked at the story of Lazarus and were reminded that Easter is not just about what Jesus did—it’s about who He is.When Jesus declares, “I am the resurrection and the life,” He is not only pointing to a future hope, but offering new life right now to all who believe in Him.In this message, we explored several powerful truths:- Jesus is not limited by our timeline — even when He seems delayed, He is working for a greater purpose- Jesus meets us in our pain — He sees, feels, and enters into our grief- Jesus brings life where there seems to be no hope — what looks final to us is not final to HimEven in moments of loss, confusion, or waiting, we are reminded that Jesus is present—and He is powerful.Easter is the celebration that death does not have the final word. Because Jesus lives, we have hope. Because He is the resurrection and the life, we can trust Him in every season. If you’ve ever wondered where God is in your pain, or questioned His timing, this message invites you to see the heart of Jesus—full of compassion, full of power, and full of life.He is still calling people from death to life today.#Easter #ResurrectionAndLife #John11 #HopeInChrist #TheVineChurch

1 Samuel 24 - Don’t Take the Shortcut
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿As we continue our series through the life of David, this message takes us into a powerful moment in 1 Samuel 24, where David is given what seems like the perfect opportunity to take matters into his own hands. While hiding in a cave, David finds King Saul—his enemy—completely vulnerable. By every human standard, this looks like God’s provision. But instead of taking the shortcut to the throne, David chooses mercy, restraint, and trust in God’s timing. In this message, we explore what it means to follow God faithfully when the easier path is right in front of us:- Not every opportunity is God’s will- Showing mercy reflects trust in God’s justice- Shortcuts can cost you your character- Waiting on God is never wasted timeDavid’s decision in the cave reveals a deeper truth: faith isn’t just about what we believe—it’s about how we choose to act when no one is watching and when the outcome feels within our control. This passage challenges us to consider where we might be tempted to rush ahead, take control, or justify compromise—and instead invites us to trust the One who made the promise.Because sometimes, the greatest act of faith is choosing to wait.#DavidSeries #TrustGodsTiming #FaithOverShortcuts #1Samuel24 #TheVineChurch

1 Samuel 18 - David & Saul
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿As we continue in our David series, this message explores a powerful and sobering moment in 1 Samuel 18:6–16—the growing tension between David and King Saul, rooted in jealousy. What began as celebration quickly turned into comparison, and comparison gave way to fear, distortion, and destructive behavior. Saul’s story reminds us how easily jealousy can take hold when we lose sight of God’s goodness in our own lives. In this message, we see how:- Jealousy begins with comparison- Jealousy distorts reality- Jealousy leads to destructive actions- Jealousy ultimately opposes the work of GodBut Scripture doesn’t just diagnose the problem—it points us to a better way. We are challenged to:- Celebrate what God is doing in others- Trust His plan for our own lives- Remain faithful where He has placed usAt its core, this passage invites us to examine our hearts. Are we comparing, competing, and resenting—or trusting, celebrating, and walking faithfully with God?May this message encourage you to rest in God’s purpose for your life and guard your heart against anything that pulls you away from Him.

1 Samuel 18 - David & Jonathan
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿As we continue our series through the life of David, this message looks at one of the most powerful friendships in Scripture: David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18:1–5).In a world where friendships can often be shallow or unreliable, the Bible gives us a picture of what true, God-centered friendship looks like. Jonathan and David’s relationship shows us that real friendship is more than shared interests—it is rooted in shared hearts and a shared commitment to the Lord.In this message we explore three key marks of true friendship:- True friendship begins with shared heart- True friendship involves sacrificial love- True friendship supports God’s calling in someone else’s lifeJonathan loved David deeply and willingly gave up his own royal privileges to support what God was doing in David’s life. His example challenges us to consider the kind of friendships we cultivate and the kind of friends we are becoming. This message invites us to reflect on two important questions:Do we have people in our lives who encourage our walk with God—and are we the kind of friend who encourages others to follow Him faithfully?Join us as we continue learning from David’s life and discover how God uses relationships to shape our faith and strengthen His people.#DavidSeries #BiblicalFriendship #FaithCommunity #1Samuel18 #TheVineChurch

1 Samuel 17 - David & Goliath
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s service we shared in communion, remembering the incredible forgiveness we have through Jesus Christ. As Scripture reminds us, God removes our sins “as far as the east is from the west,” a powerful picture of the grace we celebrate at the Lord’s Table. Our message then turned to one of the most well-known stories in the Bible: David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17). While often remembered as a story about courage, the deeper message is about trusting the faithfulness of God.Before David ever faced the giant on the battlefield, he had already seen God work in the hidden places of his life—protecting him from lions and bears while tending sheep. Those past experiences of God’s faithfulness gave David the confidence to face what seemed impossible. In this message we reflect on several key truths:- The battles we face today are often shaped by how we remember God’s faithfulness yesterday- Courage grows from trust in God, not confidence in ourselves- The greatest victories come when we rely on God’s strength instead of our ownDavid didn’t focus on how big the giant was. Instead, he remembered how faithful God had already been—and believed He would do it again. If you are facing a “giant” in your life today—fear, uncertainty, a difficult situation, or an overwhelming challenge—this message is an encouragement to look back at God’s past faithfulness and trust Him again today.Because the same God who delivered David is still faithful today.#DavidAndGoliath #FaithOverFear #TrustGod #GodIsFaithful #TheVineChurch

2 Timothy 1:3–8 — Paul, Barnabas, and Timothy
Please note: This video includes the message and closing song only.Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from 2 Timothy 1:3–8, we were challenged with a powerful question: What can we do—whether young or old—to further God’s kingdom?Looking at Paul’s encouragement to Timothy, we’re reminded that faith is never meant to stop with us. Paul invested in Timothy. Timothy’s faith was shaped by his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. The gospel moved from one generation to the next.We explored the truth that:Everyone needs a Paul, a Barnabas, and a TimothyIt is our responsibility to pass on our faithThe Holy Spirit within us must be continually fanned into flameGod has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-disciplineThis service included a special time of group prayer for young people, asking God to raise up bold, faithful disciples who will carry the gospel forward.Whether you are mentoring someone, encouraging someone, or being poured into yourself, this message is a call to live courageously and unashamed of the gospel.May we be people who reignite the flame and help the next generation do the same.

Psalm 13 - Waiting When It Hurts
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message, we turn to Psalm 13, a raw and honest prayer from David that teaches us how to wait on God when life hurts.“How long, O Lord?”It’s a question many of us have asked in seasons of silence, sorrow, or struggle. Psalm 13 shows us that lament is not a lack of faith — it is faith crying out in pain.In this service, we explore three movements of biblical lament:The Cry of Desperation — bringing our honest pain to God instead of burying itThe Plea for Intervention — asking God to act before we breakThe Song of Confidence — choosing trust and praise even before circumstances changeDavid moves from “How long?” to “But I trust.” His situation doesn’t immediately shift — but his posture does. Faith doesn’t silence pain; faith answers pain.If you’re walking through a difficult season, this message is a reminder that you can be honest with God. You can wrestle. You can plead. And you can still trust.Let your “But I trust” interrupt your “How long.”Remember His past faithfulness. And worship your way forward.#Psalm13 #WaitingOnGod #BiblicalLament #TrustInTheLord #FaithInHardTimes #TheVineChurch #WorshipTogether

1 Samuel 16 - The Lord Looks at the Heart
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message, we turn to 1 Samuel 16, where God sends the prophet Samuel to anoint a new king after Saul’s rejection. While Samuel expects to find strength and stature in Jesse’s older sons, God reveals a powerful truth:“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”This passage reminds us that God’s choices are not based on appearance, status, or human expectations — but on the condition of the heart. David, the overlooked youngest son tending sheep, becomes God’s anointed king. His story begins not with prominence, but with obedience and a heart aligned with God.In this message, we explore:- How God calls us to move forward when seasons change- Why fear doesn’t cancel obedience- What it means that God sees the “inner person” — our thoughts, intentions, and character- How the Spirit empowers those God choosesAs we reflect on David’s anointing, we’re invited to examine our own hearts. Are we ready to respond when God calls? Are we more concerned with outward image — or inward transformation?May this message encourage you to trust the God who sees beyond the surface and calls ordinary people into extraordinary purpose.

John 11:1–16 — Trusting Jesus in the Silence
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿Have you ever prayed urgently — and felt like God didn’t show up on time? In John 11:1–16, we meet a family who knew Jesus personally, trusted Him deeply, and still experienced silence when they needed Him most.Lazarus was sick. Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus. They were confident He could heal. But instead of rushing to their side, Jesus waited — and Lazarus died. This passage teaches us a difficult but hope-filled truth: God’s delays are not God’s denials. Sometimes, His waiting is purposeful — shaping our faith and revealing His glory in ways we could never anticipate.📖 In this message, we explore:- How Jesus can love deeply and still choose to wait- Why God’s plans are often bigger than the answers we ask for- How obedience and faith sometimes lead us into risk- Why Jesus sees death, loss, and disappointment differently than we doJesus didn’t delay because He didn’t care — He delayed because He was preparing something greater. Healing would have shown His power. Resurrection would reveal His identity. If you’re walking through a season of unanswered prayer, uncertainty, or waiting, this message invites you to trust the heart of Jesus — even when His timing is hard to understand.

John 10:31-42 — I and the Father Are One
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿(Please note: we apologize that the video is slightly out of focus for this recording. Thank you for your grace as you watch.)In today’s message from John 10:31–42, we see the tension around Jesus reach a breaking point. His opponents pick up stones, not because of His good works, but because they understand exactly what He is claiming — that He is God.📖 This passage highlights three powerful themes:- The rejection of the Messiah — Jesus is accused of blasphemy for claiming divine identity- The reasonableness of faith — Jesus points to His works as evidence of His unity with the Father- The refuge found in Christ — though rejected in Jerusalem, many believe in Him across the JordanJesus does not argue defensively or retreat in fear. Instead, He invites honest consideration: If you struggle to believe His words, look at His works. And for those who seek Him humbly, they find truth, safety, and faith that takes root. This service reminds us that faith in Christ is not blind or irrational — it is grounded in who Jesus is, what He has done, and the life He offers to all who believe.May this message encourage you to consider not just what Jesus claimed, but how you respond to Him.

John 10:22-30 — In Good Hands
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from John 10:22–30, Jesus is confronted during the Festival of Dedication and asked to declare plainly whether He is the Messiah. His response reveals not a lack of evidence, but a deeper issue — unbelief is not a knowledge problem, it’s a heart problem. As Jesus speaks, He makes some of the most comforting promises in all of Scripture for those who truly belong to Him.📖 In this passage, we learn:- Unbelief flows from the heart, not from a lack of information- True sheep are known by relationship, not just recognition — they listen, are known, and follow Jesus- Eternal life is a gift, not something we earn or gamble to keep- Our security rests fully in the power of God, not our own faithfulnessJesus declares that His sheep are held securely in His hand — and in the Father’s hand — and that no one can snatch them away. This assurance is grounded in who God is, not in how well we perform.May this message encourage you to trust the Shepherd who knows you, keeps you, and gives eternal life to all who follow Him.

John 10:1-21 — The Shepherd & His Sheep
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message, we turn to John 10 where Jesus reveals Himself through one of Scripture’s most comforting and challenging images: the Shepherd and His sheep.Using this powerful metaphor, Jesus makes several bold claims about who He is and what it means to belong to Him. He is not distant, deceptive, or self-serving — He is personal, protective, and sacrificial.📖 In this message, we explore four key truths from John 10:- Jesus calls, leads, and knows His sheep — and they recognize His voice- Jesus is the gate — the only way to salvation and abundant life- Jesus is the Good Shepherd — not a hired hand who runs when danger comes- Jesus willingly lays down His life for His sheep and takes it up again by His own authorityWe also see that, just like earlier in John’s Gospel, Jesus’ words bring division. Some reject Him outright, while others can’t ignore the evidence of who He is — especially in light of the healing of the man born blind. This passage invites us to reflect on an essential question: Whose voice are we listening to, and who are we following?May this service encourage you to trust the Shepherd who knows you by name, leads you with care, and gave His life so you could truly live.#John10 #GoodShepherd #IAmTheGate #AbundantLife #TheVineChurch #WorshipTogether

John 9:24-41 — The Sight of the Blind & The Blindness of the Sighted
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿We began today’s gathering by sharing in Communion, remembering the body and blood of Jesus given for us. As we came to the table together, we reflected on Christ’s sacrifice, grace, and the new life we have because of Him.Following Communion, we turned to John 9:24–41, continuing the story of the man who was born blind and healed by Jesus. In this passage, the focus shifts from the miracle itself to the response it provokes — exposing the contrast between religious pride and simple, courageous faith.📖 In this message, we see:- How religious pride resists clear evidence, even in the face of undeniable transformation- The courage and clarity of a man who can’t explain everything, but knows one thing: “I was blind, but now I see”- Jesus revealing that the deepest blindness is not physical, but spiritual- A powerful invitation to humility, belief, and worship in response to ChristThis service challenges us to ask honest questions about our own hearts: Are we willing to admit our need, or do we cling to the illusion that we already see clearly?May this time of worship, Communion, and Scripture lead us to deeper faith in Jesus — the One who gives sight to the blind.

Leviticus 14:33-42 — Clean & Rebuild
Welcome to our first worship service of 2026!We began the new year with a powerful and timely message from our guest speaker, rooted in Leviticus 14:33–42. In this passage, God gives instructions for inspecting houses affected by mold — and we were invited to see this not just as an ancient law, but as a spiritual picture for our own lives.Just as a house was carefully examined, emptied, and sometimes rebuilt, we were challenged to allow the Holy Spirit to inspect our hearts. Where hidden issues are found, God doesn’t ignore them — He lovingly exposes, cleans, and restores what needs to be made new. This message reminded us that:- God cares deeply about what’s beneath the surface- Healing and renewal often begin with honest inspection- True restoration sometimes requires clearing out what no longer belongs- God’s goal is not destruction, but renewal and wholenessAs we step into a new year, may we welcome the Spirit’s work in our hearts — trusting God to cleanse, rebuild, and prepare us for what’s ahead.#FirstSundayOf2026 #NewYearNewHeart #Leviticus14 #HeartInspection #HolySpiritWork #Renewal #WorshipTogether

John 9:13-23 — Truth on Trial
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from John 9:13–23, we see what happens after the miracle — when a life changed by Jesus is brought under scrutiny. The man who was once blind is now seeing, but instead of celebration, he faces interrogation. The religious leaders are more concerned with rules than redemption, and the Light exposes the limits of their legalism. This passage shows how transformed lives are hard to refute, even when people refuse to accept the truth. The Pharisees are divided, the evidence is undeniable, and yet fear begins to silence those who know the truth — even the man’s own parents.Through this story, we’re reminded that:- Legalism struggles when confronted with the life-giving work of Jesus- Personal transformation is a powerful witness- Fear doesn’t erase truth — it only suppresses it- Following Jesus may bring pressure, but truth still shinesThis message challenges us to consider how we respond when faith becomes costly and whether we allow fear or faith to shape our witness.#John9 #LightOfTheWorld #LegalismVsGrace #TruthAndFear #FaithUnderPressure #TheVineChurch #WorshipTogether

John 9:1-12 — Seeing for the First Time
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message from John 9:1–12, we encounter a man who had never seen light, color, or even his own reflection—until Jesus stepped into his darkness. This miracle is more than a physical healing; it’s a powerful picture of what happens when the Light of the World meets human suffering. The disciples wanted to debate the cause of the man’s blindness. Jesus shifted the focus to purpose—declaring that this suffering was not random, but an opportunity for God’s work to be displayed. In this passage, we’re reminded that some suffering isn’t meant to be explained, but revealed as a platform for God’s glory. We also see that obedience comes before understanding. The man didn’t have all the answers—he simply followed Jesus’ instruction. And when he obeyed, his sight followed. Finally, his changed life became undeniable proof that Jesus had been at work.📌 In this message, we explore:- Why suffering is never wasted in God’s hands- How faith often requires obedience before clarity- Why transformed lives speak louder than arguments- And how encountering Jesus changes everythingJust like this man, we may not yet know everything about Jesus—but we can know what He has done. And a changed life always tells a powerful story.#John9 #LightOfTheWorld #FromDarknessToLight #ObedienceAndFaith #LifeChange #TheVineChurch #WorshipTogether

John 8:48-58 — Before Abraham Was… I AM
Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿In today’s message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John as Jesus has one of His most intense and revealing exchanges with the religious leaders. Their accusations escalate—from questioning His heritage to calling Him demon-possessed—but Jesus remains steady, focused on honoring the Father rather than defending Himself. From John 8:48–58, we see three powerful truths about who Jesus is:• He remains faithful even when misunderstood, showing us how to honor God when others misjudge us.• He offers eternal life to all who embrace His word: “Whoever obeys My word will never see death.”• He declares His eternal identity with the words, “Before Abraham was born, I AM,” confronting us with a choice—reject Him or worship Him.This passage invites us to reflect deeply on Jesus’ true nature, His unity with the Father, and the life He offers to those who trust Him.May today’s service help you see Jesus more clearly and follow Him more wholeheartedly.#John8 #BeforeAbrahamWasIAm #JesusIsLord #TheVineChurch #WorshipTogether #EternalLife #ScriptureTeaching

John 8:37-47 — Whose voice are you following?
In this week’s service, we continued our series through the Gospel of John and stepped into one of Jesus’ most direct, heart-revealing conversations. In John 8:37–47, Jesus confronts the religious leaders with a truth that still challenges us today: our deepest identity isn’t rooted in our heritage or behavior but in the desires we chase and the voice we choose to follow.Jesus exposes a hard reality—His word had found no room in their hearts. Though they claimed Abraham as their father, their actions revealed a very different allegiance. Jesus contrasts two spiritual lineages: those who belong to God and hear His voice, and those who reject the truth and follow the desires of the enemy.Throughout the message, we explored three key truths:1. Jesus’ Word Finds No Home in a Hardened HeartBefore the crowd ever thought about picking up stones, they had already closed their hearts to the truth. Genuine belonging to God is revealed not by our claims but by our openness to His Word.2. You Reveal Your Father by the Desires You ChaseJesus makes it unmistakably clear: the desires we pursue expose who is truly shaping our lives. We reflected on the sobering reality that the enemy’s native language is lies—and how easily those lies can become the soundtrack of our decisions if we’re not anchored in Christ.3. Those Who Belong to God Hear His VoiceJesus invites us to examine the posture of our hearts. Do we recognize His voice? Do we welcome His truth—even when it confronts us? Belonging to God is marked more by surrender than by status. This service called us to reflect deeply on our spiritual identity and to ask: Whose voice am I really listening to? Whose desires are steering my life? Jesus offers freedom, clarity, and security to all who make room for His word.

John 8:31-36 — Free Indeed
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In today’s message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John as Jesus speaks a powerful truth about what it means to truly follow Him:“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31–32)This conversation unfolds in the Temple as Jesus confronts a crowd confident in their own heritage yet blind to their spiritual bondage. He exposes the reality of sin’s grip and offers freedom that only He—the Son—can provide.📖 In John 8:31–36, we learn:- True discipleship means holding fast to Jesus’ teaching- Knowing the truth leads to genuine freedom- Sin enslaves those who surrender to it- Only the Son has the authority to set us free—free indeedThis message invites us to face the truth about sin, embrace the freedom found in Christ, and walk as sons and daughters in the household of God.#John8 #FreeIndeed #TruthSetsYouFree #FaithInChrist #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline

1st Anniversary Celebration
Happy 1-Year Anniversary, The Vine! 🌱Today’s service was a special milestone — celebrating one year of gathering together at Ralph Williams Elementary School. Through worship, testimony, and reflection, we remembered that every step of this journey has been marked by God’s faithfulness and grace. Our message came from 1 Samuel 7:1–15, where Samuel and the Israelites set up a stone of remembrance — an Ebenezer — declaring,“Thus far the Lord has helped us.”📖 In this passage, we see:- How godly sorrow leads to repentance and renewal (2 Corinthians 7:10)- That true freedom and victory come not through our own strength, but through God’s- The power of remembering how far God has brought usAs part of our service, everyone was invited to write on an Ebenezer stone — marking a personal way they’ve seen God help them. It was a beautiful moment of gratitude, testimony, and unity in worship.Even in a year of challenges and growth, we echo Samuel’s words: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”#TheVineChurch #Ebenezer #GodIsFaithful #ChurchAnniversary #1Samuel7 #ThusFarTheLordHasHelpedUs #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline

John 8:12-20 — Light of the World
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In today’s message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John as Jesus declares one of His most profound statements:“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)This moment takes place in the Temple during the Feast of Tabernacles — as massive golden lampstands illuminate the night, Jesus boldly proclaims that He is the true Light who reveals truth, exposes darkness, and leads to life.📖 In John 8:12–20, we learn:- Jesus is the Light who reveals the presence and power of God- His authority comes from perfect unity with the Father- The Pharisees’ rejection shows the danger of judging by human standards- Our response to the Light determines whether we walk in truth or remain blind in darknessThis message invites us to step out of the shadows of confusion, pride, and sin — and walk in the life-giving light of Christ.#John8 #LightOfTheWorld #WalkInTheLight #FaithInChrist #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline

John 8:2-11 — Woman Caught in Adultery
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In one of the most beloved yet debated passages of Scripture, we encounter Jesus and the woman caught in adultery. Though the earliest manuscripts of John do not include this story, it beautifully reflects the heart of Jesus — a Savior who confronts sin with truth and extends mercy with grace.📖 In John 8:1–11, the religious leaders bring before Jesus a woman caught in sin, hoping to trap Him. But Jesus turns their scheme into a lesson on judgment, compassion, and the true nature of righteousness. From this passage, we see:Jesus as both the confronter and the comforterThe hypocrisy of those quick to condemn others while ignoring their own sinThat mercy does not ignore sin — it transforms those who receive itHow Jesus’ words, “Neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin,” reveal both forgiveness and a call to holinessEven when the world points fingers, Jesus stoops down in grace. He doesn’t excuse sin — He rescues sinners.

John 7:40-52 — Divided
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In John 7:40–52, we see how the words and presence of Jesus caused division among the people. Some believed He was the Messiah. Others doubted, mocked, or sought to silence Him. Even the religious leaders and temple guards couldn’t agree — but one thing was undeniable:“No one ever spoke the way this man does.”This passage reminds us that Jesus isn’t just another teacher or moral example. His words confront, challenge, and divide — because they demand a response. You can’t stay neutral about Him.📖 In this message, we explore:- The three groups of people divided over Jesus — the uncertain, the doubtful, and the convinced- How the Pharisees’ pride blinded them to truth right in front of them- Why the words of Jesus still stir hearts and create decision today- That sometimes the only division that matters is where we stand with ChristAt the center of all debate, doubt, and belief stands Jesus — the One whose words bring life to those who receive Him.

John 7:25-39 — Thirsty No More
Welcome to this week’s worship service!Even with technical difficulties and resulting last-minute changes to our music set, our prayer is that God is glorified through every part of today’s gathering. Worship isn’t about perfection — it’s about hearts turned toward Him.In today’s message from John 7:25–39, we see Jesus teaching boldly in the temple during the Feast of Tabernacles. Confusion and division surrounded Him — some wondered if He could be the Messiah, while others sought to silence Him. But on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus made a life-changing invitation:“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”May this service encourage you to come to Jesus with your thirst and be filled with His Spirit.

John 7:1-13 — Who is Jesus?
Welcome to this week’s worship service!Today we step into John 7:1–13, where the question on everyone’s lips is the same question we must each answer: Who is Jesus? For some in the crowd, He was a good man. For others, He was a deceiver. Even His own brothers didn’t believe in Him yet. And the religious leaders? They were watching closely, plotting His death. In this passage we discover:- Why even those closest to Jesus struggled to believe in Him- How living for God brings resistance and even hatred from the world- Why Jesus refused to seek fame or human approval — and instead lived fully in the Father’s timing- How the same question still confronts us today: “Who do you say that He is?”This message challenges us to consider not just what others say about Jesus, but our own response to Him — the One who is either simply a man, or the Son of God and Savior of the world.

Welcome to this week’s worship service!Today we conclude John 6 with a powerful moment of decision. After Jesus’ teaching about the bread of life, many in the crowd turned away — but the Twelve were faced with a question that calls each of us to respond:“You do not want to leave too, do you?”📖 In John 6:64–71, we discover:- Why some walked away, and why others stayed- What Judas’ presence among the Twelve reveals about God’s sovereignty and human responsibility- How misplaced desires can keep us from fully following Christ- Peter’s bold confession: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”This passage invites us to stand with Peter, declaring our trust and hope in Jesus, the Holy One of God.#John6 #WordsOfEternalLife #FollowingJesus #BreadOfLife #FaithOverFear #ChurchOnline #WorshipTogether

John 6:52–63 — Too Hard to Swallow?
Welcome to this week’s worship service!Today we continue in John 6 with one of the most challenging passages in all of Scripture. After declaring that He is the living bread from heaven, Jesus tells the crowd that they must eat His flesh and drink His blood to have eternal life. His words stir up offense, confusion, and grumbling — but also reveal a deep spiritual truth.📖 In John 6:52–63, we learn:- Why Jesus’ teaching was so difficult for His hearers to accept- How His words go beyond the physical to reveal a spiritual reality- That eternal life comes not from rituals or effort, but from believing in and feeding on Christ- “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.” (v. 63)This passage reminds us that following Jesus isn’t about surface-level religion — it’s about truly receiving Him as our life, our sustenance, and our salvation.#John6 #HardSayingsOfJesus #BreadOfLife #TheSpiritGivesLife #EternalLife #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline

John 6:41–51 — Drawn by the Father
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In today’s message, we continue in John 6 where Jesus makes a bold and radical claim: “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” His words stirred up grumbling among the people who thought they knew Him as simply “the son of Joseph,” but Jesus reveals something far greater — He is the living bread sent by the Father to give life to the world.📖 In John 6:41–51, we discover:- Why belief in Jesus is not possible apart from the Father’s drawing- How God, through the Spirit, opens hearts to receive the gospel- That Jesus Himself is the true bread, unlike the manna in the wilderness, giving eternal life to all who believe- The bread He offers is His flesh, given for the life of the worldThis passage reminds us that salvation is entirely a work of God’s grace — not by our efforts, but by His mercy — and that eternal life is found only in Christ, the Bread of Life.#John6 #BreadOfLife #JesusIsTheLivingBread #EternalLife #GodsGrace #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline

John 6:30-40 — Eternal Satisfaction
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In today’s message, we continue through John 6, where Jesus makes one of His most powerful declarations: “I am the bread of life.” After feeding the five thousand, the crowd still wants a sign — just as their ancestors received manna in the wilderness. But Jesus points them to something far greater: Himself, the true bread from heaven who gives life to the world.📖 In John 6:30–40, we discover:- Manna was temporary — but Jesus offers eternal satisfaction- Whoever comes to Him will never hunger or thirst again- Those given to Jesus by the Father are secure in Him- The will of God is that none who believe will be lost, but raised up on the last dayThis message reminds us that only Christ can satisfy our deepest hunger, keep us secure in God’s will, and promise resurrection life for all who believe.#John6 #BreadOfLife #JesusSatisfies #EternalLife #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline

We prayed over our school-aged kids and even had them join the worship team for one of the songs — celebrating a new school year with joy, blessing, and community. We also shared in Communion, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and proclaiming His death until He comes again. In today’s message from John 6:22–29, we pick up right after Jesus has fed the 5,000 and walked on water. The crowd is searching for Him, but Jesus challenges their motives: Are they seeking Him for who He is, or just for what He can give?📖 In this passage, Jesus teaches:- Not to work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life- That the work God requires is simple yet profound: to believe in the One He has sent- That true satisfaction is found not in bread, possessions, or earthly rewards — but in Christ HimselfThis message invites us to reexamine what we’re pursuing in life, and to fix our eyes on the only One who can truly satisfy.#BackToSchoolSunday #Communion #John6 #BreadOfLife #FaithInChrist #ChurchOnline #WorshipTogether

John 6:16-21 — Walking on Water
Welcome to this week’s worship service!Today we continue in John 6 and reflect on a short but powerful moment — Jesus walking on water during a stormy night. While the disciples are straining against the waves, Jesus approaches them in the dark, bringing peace, presence, and power into the chaos.📖 In John 6:16–21, we discover:- That God’s timing often stretches us to trust Him more- Jesus doesn’t just calm storms — He joins us in them- His presence transforms fear into peace: “It is I; don’t be afraid.”- When we welcome Him in, He gets us where we need to goThis passage reminds us that we’re never out of His sight, never beyond His reach, and never alone — even when the storm is fierce and the night feels long.#John6 #JesusWalksOnWater #DoNotBeAfraid #FaithInTheStorm #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline #TrustHisTiming

John 5:31–47 — The Witnesses to Jesus
Welcome to this week’s worship service! In today’s message, we explore how Jesus lays out a bold and compelling case for His identity as the Son of God. Speaking directly to His critics in John 5:31–47, Jesus presents a series of powerful witnesses — each one confirming that He is the One sent by the Father to give life.📖 In this passage, Jesus calls on:- John the Baptist – the prophet who testified to the Light- His works and miracles – signs that confirm His mission- The voice of the Father – a divine testimony- The Scriptures themselves – from Moses to the Prophets, all pointing to HimBut the tragedy in this moment is that His listeners — though devoted to Scripture — missed the very One the Scriptures pointed to.🔍 This message challenges us to:- Examine whether we’re seeking truth or just religious status- Recognize the many ways God confirms who Jesus truly is- Respond not with resistance, but with faith and love for the One who offers eternal life#JesusIsTheSonOfGod #John5 #TestimonyOfChrist #ScripturesPointToJesus #WorshipTogether #ChurchOnline #FaithInChrist
