I'm getting My Creation back and there's going to come a Covenant, and I'm going to write the Laws in their heart. We can take great comfort that God made us His crowning creation! Here's the nutshell of what we have to do. We have to realize that our effort to resist sin is indispensable. We have to resist sin, but it's also incomplete and insufficient. Many people had returned to the land of Israel since they were exiled because of the things they had done. A Temple was built, and the worship practices of Yahweh had restarted. There's one point (Nehemiah 4:17) where they had a hammer in one hand and a weapon in the other. It was a really great visual. That's what God's called us to, to protect the Word, protect the ways of Christ in our own hearts, in our life, and yet to build the kingdom of God as we've been called to. I was before the Lord yesterday and He told me to do something.I followed through with it this morning, and it was a little bit of a leap of faith for me. And He met me in that leap of faith. And this is something that hit Aaron Liebert really hard, and it says in Psalm 23, it's "a Psalm of David." If you know anything about David, he had a lot of difficulty, because of himself. It wasn't always the things around him, but it was himself, it was the mirror. Psalm 23 says, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Do you have all that you need today? With Jesus, you do. But I think it's not just the tithe. Give love. You'll get more love back. Give patience. You'll get more patience back. All the fruit of the spirit. When I make a choice to read the Bible, … there's some magic that happens there. Perhaps magic is the wrong word, but it's mysterious to me.
