EP 14: Things That Annoy Me
If it were up to me, I would live in a world of oblivion. I would see only my antics and foolishness. Unfortunately, we are exposed to the annoyance of others. Often, when we don't ask to be. As adults, we are forced to deal with other not-so-like-minded adults. I'm usually positive Patty, but I'm human. This is a fun episode for me, because I just let it all out. Better out than in, right? Talking on speakerphone in public settings, people who call in the middle of a text exchange, and recording private moments, are just a few of the things that grind my gears. Listen to the full episode to here more. This week's blog is titled "Action Required" and it will be published this Saturday - 09/09, on my website: www.theresmommythentheresme.com.

EP 13: Renaissance World Tour
If you're a Beyoncé hater, then this episode is not for you. In this episode, I share my experience at the Renaissance World Tour in Tampa, Florida. For this to be my very first concert, the bar has been set! The budget? There was none. To witness that greatness with my own two eyes? It is truly something that I will never forget. Our show definitely failed the infamous "mute challenge," but baby a time was had. Give Beyoncé the credit that she deserves! The credit that she has earned! There aren't many that are 20+ years into their career, and still packing out stadiums. While looking damn good? I'm just saying! This week's blog "The Door is Closed," will post this Saturday on my website: www.theresmommythentheresme.com.

EP 12: America Has a Problem
It's official, people have lost their minds. Is it just me, or has everybody been on one lately? There's rarely any good news these days, and some of these headlines will make you do a double take. In the words of LaWanda Page from the classic movie, Friday, "Are you prepared for Jehovah's return? Because if you're not..." He's coming back, ya'll! In this episode, I give my opinions on the latest problems in America. Men and their fragile little egos, new gun laws, Florida and its Governor trying to erase the woke "agenda," and we finally have an update on little Ms. Liar Liar, Carlee Russell. If you missed my last blog, Delayed, Not Denied, you can read it here: www.theresmommythentheresme.com

EP 10: The Strong One
This episode features a brief recap of my most recent blog, The Strong One. Being considered the strong one is not a compliment, or badge of honor. Life is hard for everyone, but even harder for the strong ones. The strong ones are often the most neglected. You may have everybody's back, but who really has yours? If you're the strong one, you are not alone. Instead of reposting how you should check on your strong friends, do it, and really mean it. You never know when somebody may need it the most. Here's the link to the full article: http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/06/08/the-strong-one/

In this episode I also reveal the title of this week's blog, that is set to release on Saturday, May 27th. SPOILER ALERT: TMTTM: The Merch is on it's way! Take a listen.

EP 8: Rest & Reset
In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, this episode covers the importance of rest. "I'll sleep when I die?" That's how you end up in the hospital. Don't overwork yourself. In order to better serve our mind, body, and soul, it is essential to rest, and allow yourself to center your thoughts. We're so used to chaos that we avoid rest. Also, I discuss the importance of a reset. Like that game that's glitching, sometimes you have to unplug and reprogram. Get off social media and focus. Rest and reset, but we ain't giving up! Don't forget to rate, follow, and share. Sharing is caring.

EP 7: Routine Reassurance
This episode features a brief recap of my most recent blog, Routine Reassurance. Listen, if you love me, tell me! If you care about me, show me! We know that reassurance makes us feel good, but it's a verbal expression to let those around you know, that you cherish them. A lot of you love to repost "give people their flowers," but do you really? Why do we wait until we lose something, to realize its value? If you do not have people around you that can give you routine reassurance, please, reassure yourself. It starts with you. Here's the link to the full article: http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/04/29/routine-reassurance/

EP 5: Unrealistic Expectations
This episode features a brief recap of my most recent blog, Unrealistic Expectations. No expectations, no disappointments? Catchy, but not realistic. Sometimes we let ourselves down with the unrealistic expectations that we have for others. You can't expect honesty from a liar. You can't expect comfort in the presence of a thief. The issue isn't expecting things from the ones that care about you, the issue comes with what you expect. Think big but think realistically. Here's the link to the full article: http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/04/15/unrealistic-expectations/

EP 4: Gaslighting 101
This episode features a brief recap of my most recent blog, Gaslighting 101. For an abuser, their favorite types of games, are mind games. They will use gaslighting as a tactic to maintain power and control over you. Without boundaries, self-awareness, and a spirit of discernment, it is easy to be weaved into their web of lies. Abusers never change themselves; they only change victims. The best way to deal with a gaslighter is, you don't. The power is in your hands. Here's the link to the full article: http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/04/08/gaslighting-101/

EP 3: Behind the Mask
This episode features a brief recap of my most recent blog, Behind the Mask. Social media has a way of making everything seem so filtered and polished, when in reality, most of us are struggling on the inside. Whether we know it or not, we hide behind the mask, and appear to be perfectly normal, even when we aren't. You don't have to hide behind the mask. You are loved. You are worthy. You are not alone. Just as important as your physical health is, so is your mental health. Here's the link to the full article: http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/04/01/behind-the-mask/

EP 1: Millennial Manhood & Womanhood
This episode features a brief recap of my two most recent blogs, Millennial Manhood & Millennial Womanhood. Have you noticed that men have been a bit more sassy lately? You know, the painted nails, hoochie daddy shorts, and the man bags? Have you noticed that women are giving more masculine energy? It's almost as if we're competing against each other for superiority. Can't we all just get along? Here is the link to both articles: http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/03/12/millennial-manhood/ http://theresmommythentheresme.com/2023/03/18/millennial-womanhood/
