Is it Self Care?
Do you ever find yourself taking some action you believe to be "self care" in the moment only to look back later and realize it did not, in fact, make you feel cared for in any way? There are so many mixed messages out there about what it actually is, not to mention that the entire concept has been completely hijacked by capitalism! Sometimes it feels a lot harder than it should. Ultimately, these hosts feel that it is a very subjective experience and so this episode will not have recommendations for the best bath bombs or advise you to cancel all your plans. Instead, they will walk you through some ways to figure out what self care actually looks like for your unique self and also how to better identify actions that masquerade as self care but don't deliver in the end.

You're Not as Behind as You Think You Are Part 2!
Ok Ok Ok! In this Episode Emily and Miranda actually deliver on their promise to discuss the treacherous illusion of "I'm behind" that so many of us are caught in. Do you feel like you're not where you "should" be in life? Everyone else is doing better and your stuck sitting there watching life's milestones pass you by and even though you're not sure you really wanted to achieve said milestone, it still makes you feel bad about yourself when someone else does? Well you're not alone. Especially if your struggle with this in your career! Maybe give a listen for a little mental health edu-tainment!(sorry for using that word) There's a lot going on in this episode! Miranda spills some tea, Emily fails at grounding, someone shares a mental reframe that broke her out of the "I'm Behind" mental prison for a WHOLE DAY, Dolly the Kitten does some astral traveling, both hosts make a decent case against the functionality of telling yourself you're "behind" and overall they just try to help bring awareness to this insidious way of thinking thats snatching up our peace like a Grinch grabbin tinsel. Also...Its episode 20!!!
