Welcome to the LAB! Meet my amazing new friend Katie as she shares her amazing health journey (and so much more) with us. This conversation was so fun and we talked about so much, and yet there's so much more! I'm confident Katie will be back on the podcast - especially since as soon as we hung up I totally invited myself over to her place so she could introduce me to her trees!! LOL! Please be sure to check out all of Katie's information and, of course, listen to her amazing podcast, Mom on...

About Katie:
Meet Katie Farinas: mom, seasoned nurse, yoga teacher, and host of the empowering
podcast, "Mom On The Verge." As a Dharma (life purpose) Coach, Katie guides moms
on a journey of self-discovery, helping them uncover their true purpose in this life.
From a young age, Katie has been deeply passionate about health and wellness.
However, her own struggles - battling postpartum depression, becoming a chronic
migraine sufferer, and parenting a teenager facing significant mental and physical
health challenges - led her to a profound realization: the inseparable link between
mental and physical well-being.
Determined to explore the mind-body connection, Katie embarked on a transformative
journey. She became a certified yoga teacher and meditation facilitator, emerging as a
fierce advocate for mental health. Katie believes in the transformative power of
authenticity, recognizing that sharing our truths not only heals ourselves but also others.
Central to Katie's philosophy is the importance of community and the ripple effect of
love and compassion. She envisions a kinder, safer, and more equitable world, where
acts of kindness spread like ripples in a pond.
As a Dharma Coach, Katie specializes in helping individuals uncover their dharma, or
life purpose. Drawing from ancient Vedic philosophy and spiritual traditions, she assists
her clients in exploring their unique strengths, passions, values, and aspirations.
Through deep self-reflection, exploration of core beliefs and values, and identifying
obstacles or limiting beliefs, Katie supports her clients in gaining clarity on their life
purpose and creating actionable steps to live in alignment with it.
In her free time, Katie finds solace in practicing yoga, hiking, traveling, spending time
with her family, and delving into spiritual literature.
Join Katie Farinas on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment, as she
guides you towards living a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
