El color a menudo se utiliza para transmitir sensaciones, emociones o para caracterizar a personas, sentimientos o cosas. Existen muchas canciones que hablan de colores, de modo que en esta ocasión hemos recogido un elenco de canciones que se definen por colores como el tema "Colores" de Topo con letra de Joaquín Sabina, el dorado nos lo ha traído un principe, Prince and the Revolución y aquella Lluvia púrpura. Duncan Dhu y la "Casa azul" dedicada a una prostituta que se hace mayor. No podía faltar las Noches de blanco satén de Moddy Blues, una canción que inspiraron unas sabanas y una ruptura sentimental. El pop naif y sencillo de Aventuras de Kirlian han puesto música "En un día gris". Cyndi Lauper con "True Colors" ilustró en los años 80 uno de los primeros himnos gay con su bandera multicolor. Cifu ex-Celtas Cortos nos habló de los "Dias de colores". CRAG en una armonía vocal sin parangón con la "Señora azul" una canción dedicada a los críticos musicales. La explosión de colores vino de la mano de Donovan, el Bob Dylan británico. Elefantes el grupo de Suharna nos trajo su clásico "Azul". Las luces rojas de la ciudad se han encendido de la mano de Elliot Murphy con "The Red Lights". El verde lo puso la cálida, sensual e inigualable voz de Ibrahin Ferrer cantando a "Aquellos Ojos Verdes... que nunca olvidaré". Hendrix y el color rojo del blues con "Red House". Los colores de la vida, la alegría y la vitalidad de Latinoámerica lo puso Toquinho con su "Acuerela". Durante la grabación del disco Led Zepelin IV Jimy Page se encontraba a un viejo pastor Retrieval que andaba en busca de relaciones y compuso este "Black dog". Page y Jhon Paul Jhon tocaron en la grabación de estudio de Back is Black de los Bravos. Y nos despedimos con Procol Harum y su blanca palidez.
