Me resulta difícil entender a las personas que nunca se plantean el sentido de la vida, de hecho cada vez conozco a menos gentes que lo hagan porque la sociedad les engulle con partidos de fútbol, cestas de la compra, viajes a Disneyland y discusiones eternas sobre asuntos sin importancia: la banalidad de la cotidianidad nos aleja del sentido. No reflexionar sobre el proyecto existencial de uno afecta, para mal, a la configuración del carácter, y es que algunos parece que evitan buscar el sentido encontrándolo en sucedáneos tales como trabajos alienantes, ilusiones inalcanzables, ansiolíticos televisivos o relajantes musculares. Evitar la penosa pregunta implica arrojarse a un mundo de superficialidades que deshumaniza a la persona. No sugiero que las gentes se entreguen compulsivamente a la lectura de complejos tratados filosóficos o que asistan a sesudas conferencias de los eruditos de moda, sino, por ejemplo, que conversen en el bar sobre el sentido de la vida o, mejor aún, que vean con atención películas como las que propone Jot Down.
