    40. Trauma Beyond the Obvious: Blending Science, Spirituality, Body & Brain — with holistic psychologist Belu

In this raw and unfiltered episode, I sit down with holistic psychologist Belu for an unscripted conversation about trauma, healing, and what it actually takes to move beyond understanding and into real healing and lasting transformation. This wasn’t meant to be a “proper” podcast interview. We met, saw we had a lot in common, and decided to chat. And at some point, I hit record. What unfolded was an honest and personal conversation between two women who’ve lived trauma, walked their own healing journeys, and now support others in doing the same.In this episode, we explore:Trauma beyond the obvious — including what didn’t happen, but was supposed toWhy understanding alone don’t lead to healingWhy talk therapy isn't enoughHow disconnected we have become from our bodies and why it's a problemUnderstanding our childhood, generational patterns, and overachievementFeminine and masculine energetics — and why so many women are exhaustedWhy healing is a journey — unpredictable, nonlinear, and deeply human⚠️ Listener note:This episode includes discussions of childhood trauma, relational trauma, eating disorders, and emotional neglect. Please listen with care and check in with yourself around timing and capacity.🌿 About today’s guestBelu is a holistic psychologist who spent many years working strictly within scientific and clinical frameworks — until her own healing journey and spiritual awakening revealed that something essential was missing.Today, her work bridges psychology and spirituality, science and embodiment, and mind and body, with a strong focus on safety, nervous system regulation, and inner child healing. You can find her on Instagram at: @ekarapsychology🧘‍♀️ Free grounding & resourcing meditationIf this episode stirred something in you and you feel the need to ground, slow down, or come back into your body, I’ve created a deeply grounding and resourcing meditation to support you. This is not a meditation that forces healing or emotional processing — it meets you exactly where you are.🎧 Access it here: https://clairepoho.com/free-meditationWant to explore working together? If you’re done trying to figure things out on your own and feel the pull to be supported through your healing journey: • Instagram: @theradiancequeen • Email: [email protected] this episode resonated, don’t forget to save, follow, and leave a rating or review — it helps this work reach the people who need it most. With love,Claire

    39. Ayahuasca Integration: A Nervous System-First Conversation on Surrender, Community & “Resting the Interpreter” with Ian LLoyd

Journeying with ayahuasca isn’t just about what happens when you drink it.It’s about what happens before—and especially after. In this episode, I sit down with Ian Lloyd just three months after sharing a couple ceremonies together in Colombia, to unpack the less talked-about part of the medicine path: integration. This isn’t a conversation about spiritual performance or peak experiences. It’s about the tenacity it takes to sit with confusion, tenderness, and truth.Inside, we explore:How the medicine chose us—not the other way aroundWhat surrender really means, and how to “rest the interpreter”Why nervous system safety is the foundation of transformationThe tenderness — and sacredness — of confusionHow holding space the right way changes livesThe role of community, co-regulation, and being witnessedWhy your deepest gifts are hidden behind shame—and how to reclaim themYes, there are medicine stories woven in. Have you ever felt like you’re meant for something more… but have no idea what or how to step into it?If you’ve been searching for your purpose, trying to figure it all out, and instead just ending up more confused—you’re not alone. In this episode, I sit down with fellow intuitive coach, Mark Dallimore, to have a raw, honest conversation about the messy middle of purpose. 35. The Real Practice of Gratitude: Receiving, Holding & Expanding with Veronique Navette & Dan Blackman

We’ve all heard about the power of gratitude. It’s in every self-help book, every morning routine, every spiritual practice. But here’s the real question—are you actually letting it in?Because gratitude isn’t just about what you acknowledge—it’s about what you’re willing to receive. And for so many of us, that’s the hardest part. We can express appreciation, we can say the words, but when love, kindness, and abundance come our way… we deflect. We minimize. We struggle to hold it.In this episode, I sit down with intuitive, trauma-informed coaches Dan Blackman and Veronique Navette for a deep conversation on gratitude—not just as a mindset, but as something that reshapes your entire relationship with yourself. We explore:✨ The link between gratitude and self-worth—and how so many of us reject the good things we say we want✨ How to practice gratitude when life feels heavy and you can’t find anything to be grateful for✨ The energetics of gratitude—why saying “I’m grateful” means nothing if your energy isn’t aligned with it✨ How learning to receive gratitude can shift everything from your relationships to your manifestations. If you’ve ever struggled to believe in the good things being reflected back to you, or if gratitude has ever felt like an obligation instead of a felt experience—this episode is for you.Recorded in June 2024.

    32. How to set new year's intentions for 2025 (rather than new year's resolutions)

In this short episode, I discuss the topics of new year's resolutions and of living intentionally. New year's resolutions have become such a heated topic, haven't they?! Should you set them or is that no longer the cool thing to do..? Personally, I am all for living intentionally and knowing where we're headed in our lives. If we have no dreams, goals or plans to strive towards, then how can we even make decisions or take action in life without any guiding principles? I do have some reservations about new year's resolutions though... They feel a little forceful to me. Instead, I like to set new year's intentions. In fact, I strive to live intentionally day in, day out. How are intentions different from resolutions and how can we choose our intentions for 2025 in the most supportive way? Listen in to find out! 30. What Self-Love REALLY Means: Unlocking Abundance & Joy Through Self-Love with Mark Dallimore

In this deep dive between me and my fellow intuitive life coach Mark Dallimore, we discuss how we understand the concept of self-love.We believe cultivating unconditional self-love is crucial to help us navigate difficult periods of our lives and keep our feet firm on the ground when life throws destabilizing curveballs at us.This episode was recorded in May 2024, when I was going through possibly the happiest and most expansive period of my life. Listening back to it half a year later, I can tell you that I am little jealous of that version of me. Haha! It’s truly a transmission of abundance, joy, love, and excitement and I hope you will find it inspiring.Notwithstanding, this conversation, just like life itself, is not just all fun and rainbows — I also share about a dark period that preceded this happy high. In fact, going through the darkness with a lot of self-love eased my transition into the happy period that succeeded. If you’re interested in how you too can deal with emotional overwhelm and call more joy into your life, then this episode is definitely right for you.To find out more about my new transformational group containers for women or my private coaching offers, reach out to me via email or on instagram @embodiedtravelqueen.Thank you for your support and don't forget to subscribe!

Wow — It’s been a year since I’ve arrived to Colombia! What a ride! A lot of people have asked me: Why and how did you come here?  What made you move here? What do you do in Colombia? Do you plan to stay? What’s so special about Medellín? 28. Healing The Relationships With Our Parents & Our Childhood Wounds: Reparenting Ourselves

Today’s episode with Kirsi-Marja Hardy, who is a parenting coach, a parent of four adults as well as a grandparent, revolves around what it means to “reparent oneself” and how that can help us to come to terms with any difficult events that may have happened to us in our childhood.  How can we become the adults in the relationship to our parents? We explain how to take charge of these relationships by first processing any trauma that may have occurred and then starting difficult conversations about how we experienced our childhood, in a non-violent way. This framework is pertinent not only to the relationships we have with our parents, but truly, to all relationships, past and present.  We provide a roadmap to taking responsibility in any relationship and explain why we highly recommend doing that — in order to preserve our vital energy and to live from a place of integrity. If you'd like to get personal help in navigating difficult relationships or healing your trauma, reach out to me via email or read more about the support I can offer on www.clairepoho.com. 27. From Social Anxiety to Social Magnetism: Owning Your Awkwardness Changes Everything with Kirsi Hardy

Do you ever feel pathetic after you show up in the world in a certain way? How does it feel? Isn't it an excruciatingly miserable way to feel? This discussion with my fellow intuitive life coach Kirsi-Marja Hardy explores why we feel this way and what it is that we actually feel - what concrete emotions contribute to the mix of "pathetic"?We explain the evolutional origins and social needs for the occurrence of these states, which may hopefully help you find some compassion for yourself when these difficult feelings overcome you.We then discuss how we can learn to cope with these dark places and find the strength to move ourselves out of these states and onward with our life, even if that's what we least want to do when it hits us.Throughout the live conversation, we pulled up an image of the vibrational frequencies of different emotions, taken from Power vs. Force, a book by David R. Hawkins. You can refer to it on the episode cover and follow our discussion thereof.I hope you'll find lots of value in this episode! If you’d like to send some value back my way, you can do so here.Recorded in March 2024.

    26. Abundance is a choice: How we decided we would/could not run out of money!

What is it like to blindly bet on life when you have nothing tangible to hold onto? In today’s episode with Dan Blackman, my friend and fellow trauma-informed life coach, we each share our story of making some radical, out-there choices, which followed our respective decisions to choose abundance and embody joy and freedom, rather than perpetuate patterns of scarcity, fear, and survival. Dan and I both decided to quit our jobs and pursue our calling to build a business and help people. However, we have both ran into challenges and, as a result, have been living off our savings for a while — which brings its own challenges and fears in and of itself.  What is it like to blindly bet on life when you have nothing tangible to hold onto? How do you just trust life when don't know where the money is going to come from? How do you keep going when it seems like there are no breadcrumbs to follow?  And what can you do if you’re a single parent with wanderlust and a strong desire to squeeze more juice out of life but your responsibilities don’t allow you to go travel the world just yet? Tune in to find out from Dan and me!

    25. The Art of Choosing Joy -with Kirsi-Marja Hardy

Today’s episode with Kirsi-Marja Hardy, a trauma-informed intuitive life coach & parenting coach, revolves around joy and the energy and implications of operating from different emotional states. We explain how we can choose joy. We choose to be in charge of our emotional and energetic states. Through that, we gain a certain level of control over how we experience our lives. We refer to an image of the vibrational frequencies of different emotions, taken from "Power vs. Force" by David R. Hawkins, and discuss why lingering in low frequency emotions, such as shame or guilt, can get us stuck in loops. I hope you'll find lots of value in this conversation! 24. When You Don't Feel Like It - Just Do It Anyways! - with Kirsi-Marja Hardy

In this episode with my friend Kirsi-Marja Hardy, a trauma-informed intuitive coach, we discuss a creative exploration we both currently find ourselves in — it revolves around not listening to our minds and instead overcoming our resistance by doing things we don’t necessarily feel like doing. We have recently been finding this to be an absolute game changer, leading to not just success and progress, but also pure joy and ecstatic bliss! Yes baby! Among other things, we: explain why speaking authentically from an imperfect place has so much value and power; touch upon the importance of honoring our inner cycles and stages of our lives — both of us are currently in this stage, but that doesn’t mean that pushing through resistance is what you should currently be doing! Listen to your own inner voice, always! talk about why taking a break and relaxing into the pause can unlock new levels of creativity, skill and motivation. It’s a good one, so even if you don’t feel like it, I recommend you go ahead and listen anyways! 23. Enhance Your Intuition - with Mark Dallimore

In today's episode with my friend and fellow intuitive coach Mark Dallimore, we discuss intuition: What is it? Is it a real thing? How do we tap into it? And how can we distinguish between intuition and what's just our mind chatter? Can we trust ourselves and our inner nudges? Should we trust ourselves?  We discuss all that, as well as my lifestyle and frequent decisions to change my plans, travel to the other side of the world or move to a brand a new country where I barely know anyone. The truth is, I don’t often know why is it that I feel called to go to a certain place, but I trust the impulse to go with an open mind and a surrendered heart — and then magic happens. If you'd like to support me in creating more magic, you can treat me to a coffee! February 2024

    22. Working with Plant Medicine - with Mark Dallimore

This conversation with my friend Mark Dallimore was held only two weeks after I returned from a very deep experience with ayahuasca in the jungles of Colombia.  In it, I shared about my decision to go, my experience in the jungle, and the lessons that I had learned on the ground. Five months have gone by since October 2023 when this experience and conversation took place. With hindsight, I can tell you that I do not cease to be mind-blown by the ongoing unfolding, expansion, and lessons that keep dropping in as I continue to integrate this life-altering experience. Some of the lessons discussed in this episode revolve around: — surrendering: to the medicine, to all our experiences no matter how strong they may be, to life circumstances in general; — the possibility and power of bringing intentionality, sacredness, and ceremoniousness into everything we do in our lives; — how practising healing and energy work prepared and primed me for the powerful experiences I had my first time working medicine; — why I cannot recommend this experience to anyone. 21. You Too Can Travel—Design a Life You Love

In this short pep talk on following our dreams, I follow upon the previous episode where I talked about how I'm able to travel so much. If you're still wondering how I could live my best life in Portugal, Switzerland, and Taiwan during covid barely spending any money, here are the answers! If you're feeling inspired, you can buy me a coffee here. Recorded in October 2023.

    20. "How Can You Just Travel Like That All The Time?"

I get asked questions like this all the time: "What do you do that allows you travel like that?"  "How come you travel so much?"  "How can you afford all your traveling?" I’ve always had difficulties answering these sorts of questions, because I don't have that one-sentence magical answer people expect to hear. I am just a girl who dared to dream.  If you have a passport (or the ability to apply for one) and a skill (which could be looking after kids, cleaning, or speaking your native language) you're most likely qualified to do what I have been doing for the past 14 years: i.e. travel and live a lifestyle of freedom and joy. In this episode, apart from sharing examples of the things I did to be able to travel with virtually no money to spend, I also talk about how I ended up being a nomad because of covid, whether I get tired of traveling, and some of the difficulties and emotions that are inevitable if you spend over a decade being nomadic. If you'd like to support me on my journey, you can buy me a coffee. Recorded in October 2023.

    19. From Fear to Freedom: How I Live a Travel Lifestyle & More - with Mark Dallimore

In this conversation about stepping out of fear and choosing freedom instead, I am being interviewed by my friend and fellow intuitive coach Mark Dallimore.  Mark wanted me to talk about my freedom lifestyle of travels and pursuing my passions to his listeners, and we ended up dropping some interesting insights about the nature of fear, indecision, and the patterns that keep us playing small and not saying yes to our dreams.   If you too are curious about my lifestyle, listen in and find out not just how I am about to travel so much, but also how you too can dissolve fear, find more stability in life, get better at making decisions, and live from a place of more ease and joy! 18. What Does "Holding Space" Mean? - with Kirsi-Marja Hardy

This episode is one of my favorite conversations with my friend and fellow intuitive trauma-informed coach & certified parenting coach Kirsi-Marja Hardy. It is a rich exploration of a hugely important topic: the practice of "holding space" for others. Kirsi and I discuss how we show up for our friends or coaching clients who are going through challenging emotional experiences, and share how we personally wish to have space held for us. We address various components: the quality of the energy that someone brings through when holding space; the quality of the container that they can set up for our experience; what we’d like or dislike the supporting person to say or do while holding space for us, etc. Why is this so important? If you work with people, especially as a facilitator, knowing how to hold space for people in a safe and attuned way is much more impactful than the methods and skills that you are using to help them. This applies to coaches, healers, therapist, massage therapists, and even teachers. It applies to our personal relationships, too: if you aspire to be a better parent, partner or friend, learning how to support your loved ones in difficult moments is perhaps the best thing you can do. 17. Healing Emotional Wounds - with Mark Dallimore

In this conversation with Mark Dallimore, we discuss how we can heal our emotional wounds and trauma stored deep in our energetic and physical bodies. We discuss the importance of feeling safe, having space held for us in the right way, and energetic atunement. What do I mean when I say that someone "speaks from their head"? And why should we think twice before we start offering unsolicited advice? The thing is, if the focus is healing our emotional wounds, the above things don't feel safe to someone going through a difficult experience and needing support. So, they are not helpful. Listen to find out how you can support people instead! Wanna support me? You can do so by buying me a coffee! Recorded May 2023.

    16. Advancing from a Place of Safety

In this episode, I explain what it means to live your life from a grounded state of feeling safe - and taking action from that place, instead of constantly being driven by fear, feeling like there is never enough or as if we were not enough, until we achieve that thing. I believe that most people do not live from that place - we're constantly chasing after something, worrying about the future and wondering about all the possible "what if"s... What could it look like if you shifted into safety first, and only once you found that within yourself, only then started taking action from that place? Tune in to hear how I decided to take a break and wait till I'd be able to tap into that safety back in May 2023 - and how it seems to have worked out more than just fine! Thanks for listening! 15. Safety as a Subjective Felt Experience - with Kirsi-Marja Hardy

As trauma-informed intuitive life coaches, Kirsi-Marja Hardy and I believe that most people do not actually feel safe in their bodies and experience of life most of the time. What is "safety", really? We see it as a felt sense in the body. It is not an objective fact, but a highly subjective inner state. Enjoy! If you'd like to have a conversation about working on your own safety levels with a coach, reach out to me via email or Instagram. If you'd like to support me in creating free content on the internet, you may do so by buying me a coffee or a few! Recorded in May 2023.

    14. Overcoming Overwhelm, Insomnia & Upset - with Mark Dallimore

In this deep dive with intuitive coach Mark Dallimore, I share about my experience with emotional overwhelm, chronic shame, and insomnia. I observe how the latter has disappeared from my life as a natural byproduct of processing my emotions in a conscious way. We discuss the tools and concepts that have helped us deal with emotional overwhelm and find peace in times of difficulty, such as learning how to be present to our emotions, as well as receive presence from others, giving permission to whatever thoughts or feelings show up in a given moment, rather than trying to hush them away and focus on something else, and opening up to support. If you find these vulnerable conversations add value to your life, consider leaving me a review or buying me a coffee!

    13. How to Create Your Best Life—By Working With Your Emotions with Kirsi-Marja Hardy

In this episode with my fellow trauma-informed intuitive coach & parenting coach Kirsi-Marja Hardy we discuss how we can use emotions to create the lives we wish to lead. We are all powerful creators and we are never not creating our reality. We are the ones attracting, keeping in or out of our lives the things, situations, or people that we do. But oftentimes, not consciously. How can we use that to our benefit and start creating consciously and intentionally? We'll dive into concepts like energy and vibration, emotions being pure energy in motion, and the so-called law of attraction.“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ― Nikola TeslaAre you vibing with this? If you’d like to send some positive energy my way, you can buy me a coffee!Recorded in May 2023.

    12. How Unprocessed Emotions Get Stuck in Our Body - with Kirsi-Marja Hardy

In today’s episode with my fellow trauma-informed coach Kirsi-Marja Hardy, also active as a parenting coach, we discuss how unprocessed emotions get stuck in our bodies and can manifest as muscle tension, depression, dis-ease, negative thought patterns or even mental health challenges.  E-motion = Energy in Motion Energy always wants to be in motion. When we don't allow it, it gets stuck. When we don't pay attention to our emotions and release the energetic charge which they are in a proper way, they can get stuck in our energetic and physical bodies. PAIN = Pay Attention Inside Now Physical ailments can actually be a way for our bodies to communicate something to us. The book I reference is “Thy Myth of Normal” by Gabor Maté, a Canadian physician and psychotherapist specializing in trauma, childhood development, addiction, and the connection between physical and mental health. In this episode from January 2023 with Kirsi-Marja Hardy, a Trauma Informed Intuitive Coach and a Parenting Coach, we discussed what it means when someone projects their own feelings and perceptions onto someone else. What does projection feel like when it's done to us? How can I know if I am projecting my own stuff onto someone else -- instead of seeing the present situation clearly, for what it really is? 5. The Energy of Money with Mark Dallimore

In this juicy conversation with intuitive coach Mark Dallimore, we talked about our relationship to money, what does it mean to lean into abundance, and how scarcity mindsets stop us from progressing in the direction we say we want to go in our lives.  Our relationship with money is like all other relationships — if we pour fear, resentment, frustration, shame or guilt into a relationship, we probably shouldn’t expect love, peace, good will, and bliss in return.   Mark and I spoke about: — money being just one manifestation of energy; — acknowledging generational scarcity mindsets and trauma and working with it;  — transforming our relationship with money by being clear on where we are and getting intentional with our expenses; — finding gratitude for everything we have as well as for all our expenses and how that attracts more abundance; — investing in ourselves: how it ties to our self-worth and how we can support ourselves when making big leaps; — the link between our nervous system and our bank accounts. 4. How to Let Go and Trust the Universe with Mark Dallimore

In this conversation with my friend and fellow intuitive coach Mark Dallimore dating back to November 2022, we spoke about the magical flow of life that is available to all of us, when we learn to relax our calculative minds and let go of our human need to control and understand everything that happens. You'll hear me share about the crazy sequence of adventures which had me pop from country to country during covid with my tiny carry-on, not really knowing where, why or for how long I was going, but always trusting that I was exactly where I needed to be and that I would have my perfect experience at any and all of these places. Mark and I discussed how we can work with our fears, including money-related fears and limiting mentalities. We also touched upon topics like manifestation, alignment, awareness, and the healing and empowering effects of meditation, having support systems, and learning how to ask for support.
