God's Gifts are for All of Us!
We're back after a summer break! We pick up today with Acts chapter 11. I hope you are encouraged today as we see how the gospel was now being shared with the Gentiles. I am so grateful for God sharing the gospel with me as a Gentile, that through IT, I have the opportunity to come boldly before the throne and receive grace in time of need. Can I get an "Amen"? www.soulmedication.com

He Doesn't Level Us To Leave Us!
When I read the story of Paul, I sometimes miss the fact that my testimony is very benign. There was no bright light, there was no voice of God. But when I think of all the opportunities I had (and still do have) to give up, I keep choosing Jesus every day, every situation, every trial. I know that my faith is truly a miracle, and your story is a true miracle too, my friend. Listen is as Saul is off to Damascus to throw those troublesome Christ-followers into prison, and see what God had to say about this and how this changed the trajectory of the new church. www.soulmedication.com

When the Spirit Moves You!
What happens to people when they listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling them to do? Today we see what happens with Philip as he brings the gospel message to Samaria. We also see what happens when man tries to buy the free gift of God. And finally, if the Spirit told you to get up and go to the desert in the heat of the day, would you go? Philip did, so listen in and follow along in Acts chapter 8 today. www.soulmedication.com

What A Little Zeal Can Do
In Acts Chapter, we see the first uprising, the first sense of protest, or discontent in the church. But we see how the power of the Holy Spirit works through the apostles and how their devotion to prayer leads and guides them to make a crowd-pleasing move. We also meet Stephen and hear of his faith and how the Jewish leaders are at it again using the same accusations they used with Jesus. Follow along as we talk about how having zeal can help you win a debate, and be encouraged to seek the filling of the Holy Spirit daily. How can a simple prayer for more of the Spirit help catapult a "sub-standard" life into victorious Christian living? Listen today and find out! www.soulmedication.com

One Heart, One Soul, and a Text Message Prayer from Gramma
This episode, we look at Acts chapter 4. Some of the main themes we discuss are : Once again, pay attention to who God places in front of you! Do you have a captive audience? Pray for a continual filling of the Holy Spirit - to give you boldness and the words to say. Pray for unity in the band of believers for us to gather and pray as one, as one soul - that God may rock our gatherings with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. That the gospel would go forward, change lives, add members to the church, and show the power of Christ with signs and wonders. You May Not Have Money, But What You Do Have Is Rich!
This week, we will begin to see the disciples go out and begin their ministry, much as we saw Jesus do when He began his ministry on earth. And the first miracle we see is the healing of the lame man. “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. And on verse 11, the lame man was clinging to Peter and John, wouldn’t you hold on to those you thought were responsible for enabling you to walk after 40 plus years of being lame? Looking at the Strong’s concordance for the Greek word for this “clinging” this word for “hold” or cling is interpreted that the man wanted to hold on to Peter and John in a way that he might follow them, and not be sent away. Their Christianity was contagious and this man was not letting them out of his grasp. And “all the people ran together to them in Solomon’s porch, greatly amazed”. Can you imagine the chaos? Here is the man you would most likely pass on a regular basis who was always asking for financial support at the gate, and now you see him standing upright, shaking two other men and shouting praise to God. What if we reached out to someone on the way to church. We shared the name of Jesus, and they found forgiveness of sins and the power of Jesus entered into their life. Would you let this person hop in your car and would you take them to church? www.soulmedication.com

Acts Chapter 2
What happens when believers gather in unity and in agreement? Well, in the 2nd chapter of Acts, God poured out His promise of Holy Spirit upon the new church. Today, I ask myself some hard questions! How do I respond when I am not in agreement with others? How is God using His word to grow my faith? What was it like to have heard Peter deliver His first message to the church, preaching the gospel, Jesus - His death and resurrection? Listen in today! Like, follow, share! Overflow with Hope
This week we look at Acts chapter 1, and we see Peter, after his three denials, and then his three confessions of love for Christ, how he takes the leadership of the new church. We also reflect about Judas. Have you ever thought about Judas in that he had so much anguish and was so distressed over selling out his soul to betray Christ, that he took drastic measures? Do you know someone like that? Maybe someone who is hopeless, feeling like they are trapped with no way out? Is it you that might be able to bring them Jesus? To show them a way to live with the power and hope of the Holy Spirit? Imagine That! www.soulmedication.com

Can I Turn the Light on For You?
He has come as a light, and those who believe in Him do not walk in the darkness. Now, let’s think about what is so bad about walking in darkness. First of all, you can’t really see where you are going, right? Not sure where to put your feet, not sure what you are going to bump into, not sure if someone (or something) is standing in the darkness ready to attack, and this says nothing to the fact that if you are walking in the darkness, you cannot see the beauty that is around you. Listen in today!

Jesus Didn't Leave Us!
In sharing this message, I am sharing what is the difference between having Jesus in your life, or not! Life with Jesus is not easy street! We know that from James, we will encounter trials and tribulations, but life with Jesus is communicating through prayer, worship, quiet time, it is knowing the hope we have, that despite the struggles, this… this relationship, this un-ending love relationship, this is living. If you don’t have Jesus, this is what you are missing.. You are on your own. If I’m hurting, I know that there are others out there that are hurting, and maybe you’re hurting today, maybe things aren’t going well - maybe you’re sick, maybe you are broke, or alone… I am here to tell you today about the hope of Jesus, because maybe this is the time that one person needs to hear that Jesus did not leave us to do it alone. #Christianpodcast #Christiandevotional #dailydevotional

Follow the Light
7 Truths of for the Week as we follow Jesus's earthly journey to the cross. 1. Seeking out ways to get money for the love of it, steals your heart! 2. When you are seeking to worship Him, Jesus comes to your defense. 3. God was glorified in the raising of Lazarus, as the people told this story over and over, it was a huge part of the reason they all came and worshipped Jesus as He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. 4. Be the grain of wheat that dies to itself in order to produce a great harvest. 5. The exponential love of Jesus - "He loves them to the last and to the highest degree." 6. Jesus loves all people, but the dynamics of this love relationship change with response, when the people love Him back. 7. Jesus is the Light, and encourages people to walk by the Light, it is His very last public message to those on earth.

Jesus Weeps for Us
Jesus begins in John chapter 10 again explaining His relationship with us as sheep and the Shepherd. He claims He knows His sheep, so if you belong to Him, isn’t it comforting to know that He KNOWS you? How does Jesus defend Himself against the charge of blasphemy? There are a few ways we see Him do that. Jesus could have dropped what He was doing and ran to Mary and Martha and healed their brother Lazarus, but He did not. He knew the greater outcome. He knew that death did not have any more power over Him than sickness. Are you dealing with grief in your life? Loss of a loved one, divorce, are you grappling to maintain some sort of control? Today I share a testimony of hanging on to God through decades of rejection. As I saw the grief of Mary touch Jesus, I saw Jesus being touched by my grief from a rejected child to a rejected wife. I saw His tears for me. Reach out today and let us know if you have been blessed by our message. www.soulmedication.com

I am the Light of the world! Episode 55
Continue with us as we follow the gospel of John and witness Jesus' journey to the cross. This week's journey includes the following stops: Jesus tells the crowd, “Don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you.” Here there is a contrast between the material things man seeks and the spiritual things. Sounds a lot like Matt 6:33 right? Seek Him first and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. John 6vs 63. “Human effort accomplishes nothing.” We cannot save ourselves. This is a significant point of the gospel of Jesus Christ - it is the very center of the gospel, WE cannot do it. Listen as we discuss the story of the woman caught in adultery. Jesus tells us He is the Light of the world. Ask yourself, "To whom do I belong?" Finally, when you run into a situation, it's ok to ask "Why?", but we should be asking what Jesus will do with that? What are we going to do with this situation for Jesus? www.soulmedication.com

The Word, The Witness, & The Lamb
Notice how John starts, what are the first 3 words? In the beginning, where have we seen this before? We see it in Genesis. The same God that created the world, that hovered over the waters, that created us, is the same God that is the Word - from the Greek word logos - which points to Christ, the one presenting the gospel. Join us today as we look at the beginning of Jesus's ministry. Of the messenger - John the Baptist, who made the way for the Messiah. What were the people thinking when they heard John call Him the very first Passover Lamb? What did they think when their eyes beheld a young carpenter? Follow along with us and read the first three chapters this week. ❤️ soulmedication.com #devotional #devotionalpodcast #bible #christianpodcast #christianwriter #christianspeaker #christianwomen

Dig Up Your Uncultivated Ground!
God directed the Israelites to dig up their uncultivated ground. They had been in the pattern of back-and-forth living between idolatry and repentance. What areas of your lives can you begin to take new paths and perhaps build a new story of the goodness of God in your life? I love a good challenge, and I also love growing in the knowledge of Him. I hope you join me today as we look at ways we can begin to venture into the unknown, to sail the unchartered waters, and to plow up the uncultivated ground and plant those seeds of righteousness. Sarah: A Woman of Great Faith
Sarah was the mother of the Jewish nation. She was the mother of kings of peoples. She was a godly leader in her household. She was an obedient wife. The author of Hebrews includes her: Because of her faith, she received the power to conceive and birth Isaac. She considered God (who gave her the promise) to be reliable and trustworthy. She is counted as one of those who yearned and aspired to a better and more desirable country. I Peter 3: She did not give way to hysterical fears or anxious fits (even though she had several opportunities) but she obeyed her husband and she followed his guidance and leadership. Psalm 91 - Under His Wings!
Check out our podcast! Join me today as we go verse by verse through Psalm 91! Like and subscribe at Spotify/Apple/ or catch the podcast on the website link in the bio! I believe that when I am in this very posture of quiet time, my devotional time, when I am pouring over scripture, praying, and meditating, that I am in the secret place of the Most High. But I believe that this secret place is where God is, and if He is with you, which he has promised then I believe that just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, we can be in the world, and still held by God in His secret place. Matt 23:37 says “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, murdering the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a mother fowl gathers her brood under her wings, and you refused!” Here is a huge mic drop! Dwelling in the secret place — is a choice! Are we choosing to be there? Are we willingly and lovingly in our secret place? #DevotionalPodcast #DailyInHisWord #BibleStudy #ChristianPodcast #FaithInspiration #SpiritualGrowth #ScriptureMeditation #DevotionTime #WordOfGod #ChristianLiving #BiblicalWisdom #SeekingGod #DailyDevotion #GodsPromises #ChristianFaith #SpiritualRenewal #PrayerfulLife #GodsGuidance #InspirationForToday #ChristianInspiration #ScriptureReflection #SpiritualNourishment #GodsWordIsLife #FaithfulLiving #BibleTruths #SpiritualDiscipline #ChristianWalk #SeekingWisdom #GodsLove #DailyEncouragement

What Does Your Devotional Life Look Like?
How is your time with God? I realized, that the days I spent my first portion in my bible and devotions, were the days that I noticed all my tasks were checked off. And if they weren’t checked off, then it was very clear to me, that they were not that important, and that God took care of what was important... and I had peace with that. And then I came across Matt 6:33 in a new way. And there was God saying to me “Don’t worry about getting all your tasks done, all the things you have to do - my basic necessities for my day - day in - day out - were to be provided by God, He says so. My job? To seek Him - seek His kingdom - making God’s word and time with Him my priority. I am not arguing whether this is 5 am, bed time, whenever you can get it in… this is between you and God - there is basically one question here ... Is it first? Is it the first thing you think about when you think of your daily tasks - wherever it lies within your day, is it FIRST? Listen in today and be encouraged! Waiting... in silence... in stillness.
What are you waiting for? A job? Healing? Children to walk with the Lord? Who here likes to wait, or is good at it? Not me! Today we talk about waiting - in silence - and stillness - so what does that mean? No complaining! AND... No orchestrating a master plan! Jeremiah says that when we are waiting... that God is our portion, our inheritance! 2 Cor 12:9 :”But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) - is this not a statement of what a portion or inheritance is??? Christ and His grace is enough for me.💯 This verse goes on to say how this is possible - This portion is what will allow you to wait - expectantly for Him - when we are feeling weak, and impatient... “for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” So as you wait in silence and stillness, imagine Jesus coming to you with his sleeping bag and tent, and camping out with YOU! Grieving and the Holidays: God's Healing and Restoration
If you are finding it hard to celebrate Christmas, if it is hard because of loss, grief, or just the impossible facing you, then please be encouraged today as I share my last three years of finding it so hard to celebrate Christmas and how embracing this study has changed my life. Join me today as we conclude our Advent series looking at the prophecy of why Jesus came - why He was promised, how desolate the world was, how they went for hundreds of years without a word from God, they had no king, they were scattered, in bondage, and captivity, and they needed restoration. Maybe that is you? There is one theme that has run throughout this series and that is that God makes promises and He delivers. Today, we look at a number of times that God has said that whoever trusts in Him will not be put to shame, nor will they be disappointed. Have you ever looked forward to something so much, and then it gets there and you are like "Meh", that was not all it was hyped up to be. Seeking the Lamb
13 Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven— a heavenly knighthood - praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth among men - to those with whom God is pleased.” Men of His favor – and of His goodwill. 15 When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” Now, let’s think about Jesus the shepherd who leaves the 99 to go find the one – and Here we have the shepherds who leave the proverbial 99 to go and find THE ONE!

Jesus is Born! God is in control!
Luke 2 🎁 Are you feeling defeated today, maybe you can't find the next step, maybe you feel overwhelmed or drowning in the waters of life? Or maybe you just need to be encouraged that God is truly in control of this world gone haywire? I have mentioned many times, that when God makes promises – He delivers them. He always keeps His promises. So God used a Roman emperor – who probably had the most power in the world that any man had ever had up to this time – God uses Caesar to allow Jesus to be born in Bethlehem, thereby fulfilling His prophecy – the promise of a Savior to come out of Bethlehem - so that we knew that this was the exact Savior that the prophets had fortold in Micah 5:2 – God had planned it out. 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

Desert to Destiny!
Luke 1:68 🎁 Here is a Selah moment – In verse 68, Zacharias is prophesying of Jesus (not John) talking about God bringing deliverance and redemption to His people Israel, we see all the references to Jesus – The Horn of Salvation in the house of David His servant; A mighty and valiant helper; The Author of Salvation; To carry out His covenant made with Abraham... Here is Zacharias – who has not even met Jesus yet, he has most likely not been born yet... and Zacharias has such a love and respect for Jesus... As Christians, we can have such a relationship with Jesus, so much more than Zacharias had at this point, yet do WE have this exuberant song within such as Zacharias did here??? 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

Christ dwells in us!
Luke 1 🎁 Here is a Selah moment – Jesus was in the womb of Mary at the time. Mary walks in the door and greets Elizabeth – Elizabeth hears her voice – the baby John leaps in her womb, and she is filled with the Spirit. Galatians 2:20 says that Christ lives in me and I live by faith in Him and His love for me. So. If I am walking around during my day, interacting with other people, does the sound of my voice cause others to realize that there is something different about me? Do they recognize Christ in me? Do they see Him? Acts 17:28 – In Him, we live and move and have our being – So We are in Christ, and now we see Christ is in us, but see how this works in John 15:4 – Dwell in Me and I will dwell in you – Live in me, and I will live in you, just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in the vine (or being vitally united to it), neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. Seeing Mary here and what happens with Elizabeth, when I looked at this closer and was studying up for this podcast, it made me seriously think what is the effect we can have on others around us when we are fully open and available to Christ living (breathing, talking, walking, serving) in us. 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

God speaks to the impossible!
Luke 1 🎁 Here is a Selah moment – Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. For Mary and Elizabeth - it may have seemed that it was impossible for them to bring children into the world in their present state. And then we see this promise. Maybe you struggle with infertility – or maybe you struggle with another condition that seems impossible. Today, I share one of our family's impossible situations. We have all been called to our own impossible. Draw near to God and He draws near to you. There's a promise. For with God, nothing is ever impossible and there is nothing that God says that is impossible to be fulfilled. 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

Answer to Prayer Fulfilled
Luke 1 🎁 Here is a Selah moment – Zachariah prayed -the angel said “your prayers are answered, your wife shall have a son.” This is your sign today that when you pray, your prayers of faith are filled in heaven – they are never forgotten – I think about my mother on her knees for all her adult days for us children and when she died, I received one of her bibles and in there is a prayer for my brother who is the alcoholic. I know and I believe that God will answer that prayer, she did not live to see the answer, but she has a whole different view. God does not forget. If we are not receiving it now, then we may receive it later. God provides the answer in His way, because His ways are above our ways, His thoughts higher – we cannot know how or when, but we continue to seek Him and keep the line of communication open, just like Zachariah. 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. 🎁 Because Jesus came we no longer need a high priest – someone that has no sympathy and does not understand our weaknesses – and our infirmities and our temptations – but we have Jesus who has been tempted in every way – just like us – and yet He is without sin – But we have Jesus – so we can fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace – (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy for our failures – and find grace to help in good time for every need appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it! Here is another SELAH moment for the day – we have Jesus – we can get mercy from Him when we mess up – maybe you don’t have that problem – but I do –🙋♀️ I mess up a lot less and it get’s easier the closer I walk with Jesus – I have learned He knows I am not perfect, there is no fooling him – and the sooner I just come clean with Him and confess my doings, the sooner I get myself before that throne of mercy - the sooner I get the grace I need – and His grace just like Hebrews says is well-timed – it is never late – never early – it is always on God’s time – This is all the result of God sending Jesus to bridge the gap that man had made through sin – He revealed His plan to the prophets who foretold of the birth of a Savior – the triumphant entry of the King of David into Jerusalem – and then caused His promises to be fulfilled ! 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

All the Kings Shall Bow
Do you need a promise today? Join me as I share some wonderful promises we have because God kept His promise to send the Messiah. Psalm 72:10-11 🎁 I can imagine being one of the shepherds, I would be thinking or saying to the angels … Why the jubilee? Why are you singing your joyous song over and over? What can you possibly be singing about, don’t you know there is nothing to be joyful about, we are no longer a people. But…the angels sang … Because God made a promise and just as we have been learning, He delivered that promise. And the shepherds went … Because the angels sang…

The Righteous Branch
Jeremiah 23:5-6 🎁 The Righteous Branch I think about the lessons here and there are so many – I think every time I study about the desolation of Israel and how God allowed them to live in captivity and bondage, and without a king for so many years because of their disobedience, I think of how grateful I am for the grace of God to allow forgiveness of sin. I cannot imagine not recognizing Jesus as my redeemer, my blood payment, the complete sacrifice for all the sin I have ever done, am doing now, or will do in the future. This completely blows my mind. As we look forward to this Christmas, let us focus on the ultimate gift – let this be your Selah moment for today, to take time throughout your day and focus on this gift – the gift of a Savior the one to pay your debt that you could never even begin to pay in the first place, the gift of righteousness, that we can stand in the presence of God as if we have never sinned, because we have been sprinkled with the blood of the Lamb. 🎁1. #ChristmasReflections 🎁2. #DivineChristmas 🎁3. #SpiritualChristmas 🎁4. #FaithfulChristmas 🎁5. #SacredSeason 🎁6. #ChristCenteredChristmas 🎁7. #HolyHoliday 🎁8. #AdventAwakening 🎁9. #GospelChristmas 🎁10. #SoulfulSeason #BiblicalInspiration #PositiveBibleThoughts #FaithfulThinking #BiblicalPositivity #GodsPromises #RenewedMindset #PositiveScriptures #BibleWisdom #FaithOverFear #GratefulHeart #BlessedThoughts #GodsLove #HopefulThinking #TrustingGod #JoyfulLiving #PeacefulMind #VictoriousMindset #GodsGrace #AbundantLife #ThankfulHeart

The First Gospel
Adam and Eve had just fallen into sin, the whole world changed, the whole dynamic between the Creator and the created had changed and God is now announcing that there is a plan – there is a way out – a deliverance from the consequence of sin – through this Seed of the woman – and notice – it is not the Seed of the man too – As God laid out the curses and His plan, He wanted something more than an innocent man in the garden- He revealed His plan for a man that was redeemed – and a repair of the relationship – one who does not need to flee out of His sight because of sin, but one who can have direct fellowship with Him, through this “Seed”

You Bethlehem!
1. Israel is looking for the Messiah 2. Israel is awaiting this promise of their hope for a King to rule and be their protector 3. Repeatedly, God sends His prophets as messengers to share the good news of a coming Messiah – of the Messiah who will reign in Jerusalem and care for the people and bring peace 4. So as believers how can we relate to these truths? How are they relevant for us today? Christ came near to us, He was born in Bethlehem just as the prophets foretold,

To Us a Child is Born!
To us a Son is given! And the government shall be upon His shoulder. In the Bible, most government is oppressive – and Jesus came to bear that oppression, this agrees with the past description of the desolation of the Jewish people and the promise of a redeemer – now here. This Child – who then we see a series of names given for this Child – And His Name shall be called... Here we see the names that will describe the character of this Child – this Redeemer – this Promise but these are no baby or child-like names – these are names of a King – when kings were declared they were given names, such as "Giver of Life in perpetuity,” “Ever Living,” “Lord of Life,” “Lord of Eternity and Infinity”. (These were some of the inscriptions found for some of the Egyptian and Babylonian monarchs). And here we are told a Child will be born – but His name is not Nathan or Jack… Just as all note-worthy and powerful kings had names, He will be called... Wonderful Counselor – Amazing that the Holy Spirit was later given to us to be our counselor, our guide, our comforter, Mighty God – Mighty God! There should be no question, Jesus is the Mighty God! Both of these names describe a superhuman figure with wisdom and strength. Everlasting Father of Eternity – Remember Jesus said I and my father are one. (Jesus will continually act as a father to His people). Prince of Peace – The Messiah is the Prince of Peace whose government will be established and peace will rule and reign. These two names display a paternal and peaceful rule. And then we see the full breadth of His government – His kingdom shall reign and in His kingdom there will be peace and peace that will never end, there will be no wars – no conflict – because the reigning Prince is the Prince of Peace! This Prince will reign out of the throne of David – He will establish His kingdom and uphold it forever! And if that was not enough promise, The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this. This is a prophecy that should bring great joy!
