Episode 41: What to Do When You’re Triggered (So You Can Stop Yelling)
Ever feel like you go from calm… to completely dysregulated in seconds—and then spend the rest of the day drowning in guilt afterward? In this episode, I’m talking honestly about what’s actually happening in your brain and body when you get triggered as a mom. Because the truth is, your reactions aren’t random, and they don’t make you a bad mother. We dive into the survival brain, nervous system responses, fight/flight/freeze patterns, and why it can feel nearly impossible to stay calm when your child pushes a button you didn’t even realize was there. I’m also sharing practical ways to regulate your body in the moment, slow down the cycle of yelling, and respond with more intention instead of shame. This conversation is for the mom who’s exhausted from overreacting, replaying the guilt, and wondering why change feels so hard. In this episode, we talk about: ✨ What your triggers are really trying to tell you ✨ Why your nervous system takes over before logic can kick in ✨ Simple ways to regulate before reacting in the heat of the moment Healing doesn’t happen through perfection. It happens through awareness, honesty, and grace. If this episode resonated, would you do me a favor? Share this one with a friend who needs to know she’s not alone and not bad for getting triggered. So if between running from one event to the next you feel like you're going to lose it, wondering how on earth it's all going to get done...this episode is for you! In this episode, I’m talking about what I’ve lovingly dubbed 'Hell Week' for moms. It's from greek life rush and that week before initiation when guys would undergo some not-so-pleasant experiences before being made a 'brother.' Do you remember that? I couldn't help but feel like I was going through my own version of hell week as I vented to a friend. It's easy to slip straight into survival mode during this busy season because- well- you simply are overloaded And since we can't tap out and tell someone else to takeover Maycember, I wanted to give you some practical tips on how you can survive the overwhelm, mental overload, and exhaustion without losing your cool. These are things that are helping me stay grounded in the middle of the chaos. In this episode, we talk about: ✨ Why your inner dialogue matters more than you think ✨ Simple ways to reduce stress and regulate your nervous system ✨ Practical tips to stay organized and relieve mental stress so you don't burn out You are not failing because this season feels hard and you are NOT ALONE in feeling the pressure. Episode 39: Why Your Daughter Triggers You: Healing the Mother-Daughter Relationship
The mother-daughter relationship is complex. Whether you're a girl mom or you have a conflicted relationship with your own mom, this is a topic most women understand, but don't vocalize. Through my own work, and from working with other women on this topic, it's clear that thing that hits a nerve by your daughter is actually revealing something deeper. In this episode, I’m having a very honest conversation about the mother-daughter relationship, emotional triggers, trauma, attachment styles, and the generational patterns we carry into motherhood, especially the ones we swore we never would. We keep it real on The BAD Mom show so I share personal moments with my own daughter and how I began realizing that my reactions weren’t really about her behavior at all—they signaled unresolved pain from my own mother-daughter relationship and how it impacted my beliefs about the type of mom I could be as well as the relationship I would have with my daughter. We talk about why certain emotions feel so activating, how our childhood experiences shape our parenting, and what it looks like to slow down and get curious versus reacting (survival brain) and falling into a shame spiral after. This episode is for all of us because, like it or not, there are things from your own relationship with your mom that impact the type of mother you are today. This doesn't negate her efforts or mean you had a 'bad' mom. I love my mom dearly, and yet- there was still pain influencing my leadership. So grab your coffee, take a walk, put in your AirPods, and dig into this very significant relationship. And if you've feared repeating cycles you desperately want to break, know that you can, there is a better way, and you will. In this episode, you’ll begin to uncover: ✨ Why certain behaviors in your daughter feel disproportionately triggering ✨ How trauma and attachment styles shape your approach to motherhood ✨ What healing generational patterns actually looks like in real life and so much more. Episode 37: Why Slowing Down Feels So Hard (and Why It’s the Key to Real Growth and Healing)
What if the breakthrough, the energy, the peace, etc you’re craving is on the other side of the very thing you resist the most? Rest. Stillness. Slowing Down. In this episode, I’m sharing from a personal revelation God showed me as I've been in a forced season of slowing down after surgery. It checked me- and in the best way (as He seems to do!). I had this moment where I realized...before HAVING to slow down and heal, I would literally pray for more ease in my day; a slower pace, not being so busy; white space to read and relax and actually ENJOIY my day. But then I get it and what do I do? Fill the down time with projects I've been meaning to get to, wonder how much longer this is going to take, and feel ANTSY. Why is it so hard to slow down and be CONTENT when we're actually in a season (or moment) of rest? It highlighted how, despite all the awareness I have, to some degree I still assign more value and personal worth to productivity and performance. There's something uncomfortable about being OK with not being constantly busy! Can you relate? I bet you can. So get ready to dive into this one with an open heart and mind. In this episode, we dig into: ✨The tension between craving rest and avoiding it once we have it ✨Why it's hard not to fill every free moment ✨The difference between contentment and complacency ✨How embracing slower seasons can actually accelerate your growth And how allowing yourself to exhale, not stay busy, and get still might just be the most productive thing you can do today. There's so much growth happening beneath the surface; healing in stillness, and peace awaiting when you surrender your hurried heart. If this spoke to you, share this episode with a friend! I know she'll thank you! And I would love it if you could leave a review to help more women see they're not the only ones on the busyness train but there IS a way off.💛 LAST CHANCE! Join me at Awaken the Heart of Your Home – Spring Session- this Friday, May 1st! Episode 36: Why You're Not Living Fully Free: Healing Your Story in the Presence of God and Others with Karrie Garcia
There's more to your story than staying stuck in cycles of pain from the past. You think there's something wrong with you but what if it's actually a sign? A yearning from your heart that says, there’s something here that you’ve never given a voice? In this honest conversation, I sit down with my friend and mentor, Karrie Garcia, and we go deep into the kind of healing most of us would rather avoid—but all of us desperately need. We are talking about the power of your story, the stain of shame, and the power of the broken places we keep hidden-- even while loving God and doing all the “right” things. What I’ve learned in this journey is that you don’t heal by trying harder—you heal by getting honest with yourself, God, and others. We unpack the intersection of neuroscience, biblical truth, and relational healing, and why you find yourself stuck in cycles of shame, anger, and performance. This episode will help you consider: ✨Why do the same emotional cycles keep showing up… no matter how hard you try to change? ✨ What story from your past is blurring your vision for the present and future? ✨Why your anger is actually a good thing and SO MUCH MORE. If there's any episode to sit quietly and really take in (or replay if you need) this is one of them. If this episode speaks to you, please SHARE IT with a friend and leave a review to help others find it too. Be sure to go find Karrie on social and check out her book, Free and Fully Alive. Episode 35: From Labels to Leadership: Rewiring Your Brain and Owning Your Authority as a Mom
What if the biggest thing shaping your home isn’t your schedule, routines, or even your parenting style— but what you believe about yourself and how you show up every day? In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on something we don’t talk about enough: the internal beliefs, the labels we wear—like 'I’m just a mom'—and how those beliefs influence your leadership. Here’s the truth: You're already leading. The question is- what version of you is doing the leading? We’re diving into how your story shapes your beliefs, how those beliefs drive your thoughts, reactions, and energy and how that impacts your home. I also share how you can begin rewiring your brain to step into your true authority and lead from identity grounded in faith and conviction. This isn’t about doing more to prove you're a good leader. It’s about building awareness and believing differently so you can rise up in your mantle of leadership and set the tone of your home with joy and peace. In this episode, you’ll start to consider: ✨ What if 'just a mom' has been limiting your beliefs about leadership? ✨What parts of your story are driving the way you show up in your home? ✨What would change if you truly saw yourself as the leader you've been chosen to be? You might know this but really get this truth down in your heart: You are not just a mom, surviving a season, robbed of purpose, or unqualified to lead with boldness. YOU are the heart of your home, and that carries more power and purpose than you've been believing. If this message resonated, go share it with another woman who needs this reminder! And don’t forget to follow the show so you don't miss an episode. Please leave a review and help more women step into truth, rewrite their story, and lead with confidence. 💛 *Come join us at Awaken the Heart of Your Home – Spring Session- on May 1st! Episode 34: Q2 Goal Setting for Growth: The Reflection Practice That Builds True Authority
Episode 34: Q2 Goal Setting for Growth: The Reflection Practice That Builds True Authority Thinking about goals for Q2? Before you add more to your list- or feel discouraged by the ones still on it- I want to invite you to try something different. What if the breakthrough you're looking for isn’t in doing MORE, but in finally recognizing how far you’ve already come? Instead of jumping straight into planning, I'm sharing a way to pause, reflect, and actually honor the growth, progress, and transformation that’s already happened in and through you these past 90 days. Here’s the truth—when you skip reflection, you miss the evidence of your growth. And when you miss that, you stay stuck in pressure, performance, striving, and defeat because you can never catch up to that endless list. This episode is about stepping into your true authority, not from hustle—but from alignment, gratitude, and the clarity that will come with it. It’s about letting this fresh season reset your mind so you can move forward with intention, not overwhelm. ✨ What if the growth you’ve been praying for has already shown up? ✨ Why does slowing down to recognize progress feel harder than chasing the next goal? ✨ What’s the one thing that could actually move the needle for you (not everybody else) in the next 90 days? Take time to do the exercise at the end of this episode—and share it with a friend who can hold you accountable. And if you’re ready to go deeper and lead with bold authority in your home and spheres of influence, come join us at Awaken the Heart of Your Home – Spring Session on May 1st! Episode 33: Why High Achieving Women Feel Unworthy (And How to Reclaim Your True Identity)
What if the pressure you feel… isn’t actually about doing more—but about proving something you were never meant to earn? In this episode, I’m unpacking a conversation that stirred something deep in me after the Worthy Woman Summit. Many of us are quietly carrying this weight of performance pressure, approval-seeking, and feeling unworthy no matter how much we do or how 'fine' we seem. We're digging into how worthiness gets entangled with achievement, why failure feels so personal, and how your internal dialogue shapes everything—from how you perceive yourself, motherhood, leadership to how you perceive others and show up in your relationships. And more importantly, we're learning how to shift your lens. This is about realignment—coming back to your true identity, releasing the need to prove yourself, and learning to live from a place of already being enough. It's one thing to hear it, quite another to believe it in your heart. In this episode, you’ll start to question: ✨ What if your sense of worth has been shaped by the wrong scorecard? ✨ Why does failure feel like it defines something personal about you? ✨ What would change if you stopped seeking approval and started living aligned? You don’t have to earn your worth—you get to return to it. If this episode resonated with you, share it with another woman who’s been carrying it all and feels less than worthy of the call. Episode 32: You Have Time: Breaking Free from Busyness, Guilt, and “Never Enough” in Motherhood with Lissa Figgins
Tell me if this feels familiar: Everyday is a race. You wake-up and before your feet hit the floor, your to-do list has taken over your thoughts and you already feel behind. You stay constantly busy, it feels productive but when the day's over, you don't feel like you've gained any ground. It's like swimming against the current. No matter how hard you try, you just can't seem to do enough to feel GOOD, successful, or capable of rest. I can't tell you how much I can relate and that's exactly why I invited my guest on the show today because, she has practical steps you can take today to hop off the busy treadmill and take back your time. This is not traditional time management, this is time stewardship. Lissa Figgins is a former BUSY-ness owner who learned to un-hurry her heart and release the need to control time, multitask, and always be doing. Now, as a Scaling Strategist, she helps the busy Christian business owner grow her revenue and results by multiplying the 24 hours she’s been given—rather than trying to manage them. She’s known for speaking one simple truth: You. Have. Time. In this episode, Lissa shares very candidly about her own busyness battle and how she got unstuck. She shares what she found was tied to her need to stay busy which, I think we all can relate to. Busy is the symptom, but the root is tied to things like our self-worth, insecurities, perfectionism, and performance-based value. Lissa also walks us through her simple yet highly transformative 3-step process that will help you move from chasing time to actually stewarding it well. This isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing what matters. We also chat about living in reactivity, how to create intentional rhythms through time anchors, and how to truly be present and enjoy your season as a mom, your leadership, and simply daily life. You don’t need more hours in the day. You just need to shift your mindset and reclaim the day because, as Lissa would say—You. Have. Time. If this message spoke to you, go share it with a friend who’s also stuck in busy mode! Episode 31: Overthinking
Ever feel like you’re doing all the “right” things—planning, preparing, thinking ahead—but somehow you’re still not moving forward? Yeah… I’ve been there too. And what I’ve realized is this: what feels like responsibility might actually be the very thing keeping you stuck. In this episode, I’m getting real about overthinking—how it shows up in motherhood, leadership, and everyday decisions—and why it’s often rooted in fear, doubt, and questioning your worthiness. As women, especially high-capacity, high-achieving ones, we tend to overanalyze everything trying to stay in control… but it’s exhausting and it’s not where growth happens. I share how overthinking is connected to your story, your mindset, and your faith—and how healing begins when you stop trying to control everything and start trusting God with the next step. This is about moving from analysis paralysis into aligned action, even when it feels scary. In this episode, you’ll start to notice: ✨ Why “being prepared” might actually be masking something deeper ✨ What your overthinking is really trying to protect you from ✨ How one small step could change everything You don’t need more time to think—you need the courage to move. If this spoke to you, take a moment to reflect, share it with a friend, and don’t forget to follow the show and leave a review. It helps more women step into healing, faith-based motherhood, and confident leadership. 💛 I also have a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT for you! Episode 30: Feeling Behind? How To Shake Off Performance Pressure and Grow At A Kingdom Pace
It's already March and I be you're feeling it too. I’m talking about the undercurrent of panic that you're behind, missing the mark and you wonder 'what's wrong with me?' If you've felt the anxiety and slip back into pressuring yourself to do more, stay tuned. We're talking about it here. March is a transition month. It symbolizes spring and brings hope that the long, cold, dark winter is finally coming to an end. Days grow longer and you see signs of new life start to pop up. It's calming and energizing at the same time. And God used it to show me how spring is actually an illustration of how we can grow in a lasting way, His way vs our traditional stressing and striving way. What would it look like to actually operate from a place of peace and groundedness? The idea might feel completely unnatural but if we want to create new rhythms we have to intentionally slow down-- not speed up to catch up. I won't tell you how God showed me this because I want you to feel it when you heart it yourself. But it's helped shift me out of striving and stress into more purpose-driven actions and allowed me to enjoy the journey whether that's in business, motherhood, marriage or personal growth. This is the key! I also have a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT for you! It's toward the end so don't skip out early if you want to save your seat at the next Awaken The Heart of Your Home LIVE EVENT happening on May 1st, 9am to 2pm! Y'all get ready for a powerhouse episode! I had the honor of speaking with my friend, Amy Ramsey- an incredible leadership mentor and honestly-- just an incredible human being. We couldn't wait to sit down together and the conversation just flowed. Amy dropped so many nuggets of wisdom, ya might need to grab a pen or pull out Notes on your phone! Amy and I dove into the thing that often stops us driven, high-performance women from reaching our full potential. Whether that's at home as wives and moms or scaling a business, there's a big gap between our heads and our hearts and we get stuck in familiar cycles based in- you guessed it- unworthiness. Amy is so transparent and her own journey is such a testimony to what God can do in you and through you when you partner with His power versus striving and mounting pressure on yourself to perform better, do more, and ultimately burnout. She shares about her journey, surviving domestic abuse to building a life and business rooted in faith, worthiness, and 100% belief in God's ability to do above and beyond her wildest dreams. How you define success is a key factor in this process- is it the world's way or the kingdom's way? The energy got electric on this one and that's exactly what Amy does-- she embodies what she teaches and help women reignite the fire within them to step up and out into whatever God is truly calling you to. Don't chase someone else's dreams or compare your journey to theirs. God has you exactly where you're meant to be. Episode 28: Intimacy After Marriage: Why It Feels Harder and How to Change
In this episode, I’m opening up about something many of us feel but don’t always talk about—why intimacy can start to feel harder after marriage, even when love is still there. I share honestly about the emotional layers, hidden triggers, and mindset shifts that can impact connection, and how our stories, healing journey, and faith all play a role in the way we show up with our spouse. We explore how past wounds and nervous system responses can create distance, why pressure often replaces closeness, and what it looks like to move toward deeper emotional and physical connection with compassion instead of shame. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, get curious about your own patterns, and remember that growth in marriage is possible when we bring awareness and grace into the process. If you’re navigating seasons of disconnection, or simply longing for more closeness, I hope this episode reminds you that healing and restoration are within reach. Episode 27: Cold & Flu Season? You Don’t Have to Come into Agreement with That
Episode 27 - Cold & Flu Season? You Don’t Have to Come into Agreement with That In this episode, I’m challenging something you may do without even realizing it and that's automatically coming into agreement with things like illness, with your words. Do you say things like 'well it's going around so we're bound to be next' or 'everyone's getting it' and 'it's just that time of year'? Episode 26: Why You’re Doing Everything Right But Still Don’t Feel Loved | Faith-Based Healing & Mindset Shift
Have you ever found yourself doing all the right things—showing up, serving, loving, giving—and still not feeling truly seen or loved? In this episode, I’m talking about that quiet disappointment so many of us carry in marriage, motherhood, and relationships. The unmet expectations. The resentment that sneaks in. The questions about our worth when appreciation doesn’t come back the way we hoped. Here’s the truth I unpack: Sometimes we’re looking to people to fill a space in our hearts that only God was designed to fill. We talk about: Why unmet expectations trigger deeper wounds How our story shapes the way we receive love The difference between performing for love vs. receiving unconditional love What it means to let God meet you in your weakness instead of hiding it This is about healing your mindset, strengthening your faith, and learning to live from a place of love not hustling for it. There are some great reflection questions at the end of the episode that I think will really help you get clarity on this! And if this episode spoke to you, I would love if you could leave a review! Episode 25: From Triggered to Transformed: How Your Story Impacts Your Marriage with Brooke Rozzie
I'm excited to share today's episode with you where I got to chat with my dear friend Brooke Rozmenoski- aka Brooke Rozzie. Brooke and I met while doing our own deep story work in a coaching program this past fall. Our stories are so powerful and impact every aspect of our lives, including our marriages. We haven't really talked about that here on The BAD Mom Show and it's an area Brooke is passionate about so, we're going there! We unpack what happens when unresolved trauma, living in survival-mode, and everyday life triggers collide, creating conflict in your health, home and marriage. Brooke shares her experience of being severely sick with no 'reason' in sight. She shares how she lived in stress mode, triggered, blaming her husband for their problems, and finding themselves contemplating the word no couple ever wants to hear- divorce. She shares how things truly changed when she began healing the broken places in her story- her traumas- and how their marriage transformed through the process. By paying attention to her body's signals, facing the pain with God's help instead of turning away, and sharing vulnerably with her husband, true transformation began. Her body also responded and now she's healthier than ever! If you've felt stuck in survival mode, on edge, and disconnected from deep, meaningful relationships in your home, tune in. This episode will speak to you in an honest way and show you that there is hope for healing when you get to the root of what's truly broken. After you listen, send this episode to a friend! We all need to hear this one! And if you're willing, please leave a review and let me know what spoke to you! You're going to love Brooke! Brooke Rozmenoski (aka Brooke Rozzie) is a trauma-informed, biblically rooted Functional Nutrition Coach and founder of Faithfully Nourished. As a wife and mother of two, Brooke understands firsthand the challenges women face in tending to their health while navigating the demands of marriage, motherhood, and ministry. Brooke combines functional nutrition, nervous system support, and biblical truth to guide women out of survival mode and into Spirit-led, sustainable wholeness—so they can stop “doing healing” and start living from a place of Holy Spirit-led freedom. Episode 24: An Inconvenient Truth
In today’s episode, I’m talking honestly about something we all experience (and complain about) but don't often talk about. I had a moment where the Holy Spirit put me in check and opened my eyes to this question: Are you willing to be inconvenienced? Ouch. You know those moments. You've likely had at least one of them already today: You cleaned up the house and the kids come make a toy/shoe/school paper explosion. You take time to prepare dinner and no one likes it. You fold their clothes neatly only to find them in a ball in the drawer. There are lots of ways we show up as moms and no one notices. No one thanks you and before you know it that voice in your head starts grumbling, 'nobody cares about how much I do', 'I'm just here to serve' and, 'my needs don’t matter.' Be honest! Can you relate? You're not alone. It all started with me sweeping the floor- yet again- and feeling very inconvenienced by our new puppy (if you haven't met him yet, go check out my feed @thetheresatodd to see the moment I brought him home!). It turned into a moment where God highlighted some truths I was feeling, things I needed to reflect on AND repent about. Our stories, colliding with the world's view of motherhood as a thankless season that robs you of purpose, really sets us up for feeling like the victim of our own blessings. This is a conversation about pride, performance, control, and what God can teach us in the middle of the 'inconvenient' messy parts. If you’ve been feeling invisible, unappreciated and irritated by the mundane tasks of motherhood, you're in the right place! You're not alone and there’s so much freedom in acknowledging your feelings honestly and sharing them. Motherhood isn’t about getting everything right and the more you become aware of your triggers, your body sensations, and the thoughts attached to those 'inconvenient' moments, the quicker you begin to heal the story and operate differently. Tune in NOW and SHARE this episode with a friend who needs to hear it! And please be sure you're subscribed to The BAD Mom Show so you don't miss new episodes, dropping every Wednesday morning! Episode 23: The Power of Getting in the Room: Why We Need Community More Than Ever
In this episode, I’m talking about something I know so many of us crave these days—real community. After reflecting more on the event I hosted in December, one thing that really hit home was how powerful it is to get in the room. We live in a 'connected' time, but we struggle with feeling more alone and isolated than ever. But that's not how we were created to live. We were made to be in community. In this episode I share how impactful getting in community is. It accelerates the healing and growth you're after and that no self-help book can truly deliver. Something significant happens when you sit in a room with other women, sharing honestly, and see their eyes as they say, 'yeah- I feel that way too.' The lying belief that your struggles are your own and no one else could understand, loses its power. At my live event, I witnessed the power of vulnerable honest conversations, breakthroughs happen, and divine God-appointments unfold in ways I could never script. Its through presence that our nervous systems regulate, mindsets shift, and light shines in the dark to reveal a truer story. If you’ve felt alone in motherhood, craving true connections, and unsure where to start, this episode is for you! ✨ After you listen to this episode, I challenge to you to take one brave step toward connection- in any way that feels comfortable to you- and then let me know how it goes! And as always, please SHARE this episode with a friend! That could be your first step toward building more connection. And truly, we all desire more real community. It's how we're built. Episode 22: You Don't Need New Year's Resolutions, You Need To Be RESOLUTE
Most of us walk into the New Year feeling pressure to create fresh goals, fix ourselves, and hustle our way into a “better” version of who we already are. But in this episode, I share the message God gave me that flipped the whole New Year narrative for me: you don’t need new resolutions, you need to be resolute. I talk about how reflection, gratitude, and alignment with God’s purpose matter so much more than long to-do lists and performative goals. We unpack what it means to be purposeful, determined, and unwavering—and how those three things set you up for growth without anxiety, shame, or comparison. I also share how my own story of performance, people-pleasing, and striving revealed the real motivation behind my goals… and how letting God lead brought more peace, clarity, and alignment in motherhood, business, and identity. If you’re tired of the pressure of resolutions, this conversation will help you step into the year with intention, faith, and emotional freedom. If this episode encouraged you, share it with a friend, follow the show, and leave a review—it means so much and helps spread the message! Episode 21: Gratitude Before Goals- Looking Back to Move Forward
Before you rush into 'new year new you' resolutions, and feel the pressure to 'get it right' this year (if you already do, it's ok!) I want to invite you to try something a little different. In today's episode, I walk you through how practicing gratitude before goals is the key to real growth- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If you don’t make time to reflect, you WILL miss the evidence of how much you’ve already grown which you'll need in order to believe in your continued growth this year. God has shown up for you in ways you've forgotten- big or small- and reflection reminds you to give Him thanks for being with you, guiding and blessing you, every step of the way- even hard seasons. Today I'll guide you through a powerful reflection and gratitude exercise to help you look back so you can move forward well. It's a no judgment zone- just you and God reflecting on the past year, noticing answered prayers, even if answered in ways you didn't expect. It will help you recognize your personal growth through trials and allow you space to celebrate YOU (which we rarely do!) Gratitude literally rewires your brain, shifts your mind out of anxiety and striving, and helps you move forward with intention, not pressure. This isn’t about toxic positivity or ignoring pain—it’s about honoring your story, celebrating growth, and letting gratitude shape who you’re becoming. If you want to start the new year right and gain the clarity you're after to make goals aligned with who you're becoming, this episode is for you! I know you know someone who needs to do this exercise too SO, after you listen- send it to a friend! I'm sure she's also feeling the pressure of a new year. Maybe you feel like you're already behind- do this exercise! Shift into gratitude and watch your year unfold in a new way. Episode 20 Part 2: Uplevel Your Thinking — The Path to Freedom with Bob Hamp
In Part 2 of my conversation with Bob Hamp, we go deep into the question, Why do I keep doing the very thing I don’t want to do? This episode is very eye-opening and will change how you see your behavior patterns. Bob breaks down how changing unhealthy cycles - whether physical or emotional- isn't a matter of trying harder or mustering more will power. It's more complex and pulls on parts of how we're built, how your story's wired your thinking, and the nature of addiction. Anger, shame, addiction, and emotional reactivity are actually rooted in identity, nervous system wiring, and emotional regulation, not willpower. — and why trying harder is never the solution. Bob explains how our body's desire and the nature of dopamine keeps us stuck in familiar patterns, even unhealthy ones. It's why anger can become a learned regulator for pain, and how many of us unknowingly get “addicted” to negative emotions, even shame. Bob reframe will help how you perceive your patterns. The real question isn’t 'Why can’t I stop? — it’s 'Who am I really?' Because, true freedom comes when we reconnect to our true, God-designed self. This episode is so impactful. Really soak this one in! Replay it if you need to, and get ready for breakthroughs in how you think about emotional and spiritual freedom. Episode 19 Part 1: Uplevel Your Thinking — The Path to Freedom with Bob Hamp
Today is a super special conversation I've been excited to share with you! I had the privilege of sitting down with Bob Hamp who, quite frankly, is a wealth of wisdom in all things identity, thought processes, and how to walk in true freedom. The first time I heard Bob speak I was enthralled! He's an incredible story teller and helps explain complex concepts in relatable ways; kind of like Jesus! Jesus taught through stories because, at the end of the day, that is how we relate: We are people with stories and our stories impact how we perceive the world around us as well as who we are and our purpose. I love story work so much because it truly is the path to understanding yourself, healing, and living differently. Bob's input will open your eyes and get you to 'Think Differently— the title of his 4-part book series EVERYONE should have! In this episode, Bob shares why we need to 'think differently' in order to live in true freedom and why we get stuck in cycles that seem to never change- no matter how hard we try or WANT them to change. He breaks down the three levels of thinking, why so many people stay stuck in level one thinking, and the role of your nervous system in how you perceive your life. He explains why real transformation doesn’t happen through behavior modification… it happens when we upgrade the way we think. I had to ask Bob, why so many of us moms feel stuck in survival mode, negative thought patterns and unhealthy behavior patterns- how can you shift your paradigm and open the door to real, lasting freedom? Tune in to find out and for SO much more! I'd say be ready to take notes but, as Bob shares, that's a left brain process and we absorb information best when we stay present and listen vs try to organize, categorize, and record everything. Man! I was called out on that one! If this episode spoke to you, be sure to HIT SUBSCRIBE & leave a review! And don’t miss next Wednesday’s episode, Part 2 of this interview! We dig deep into why we do the things we don’t want to do! It is SO GOOD! About Bob Hamp: Bob is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, author, speaker and trainer. Episode 18, Part 3: Anger Series — What Unhealed Anger Is Costing You
Hey! Today we’re returning to our series on Anger and discussing the part no woman wants to acknowledge: what unhealed anger is COSTING you. In Part 3 of the Anger Series, I talk about what happens when anger gets stuck in our bodies. Anger, like all emotions, is energy that needs somewhere to go so if we don't process it, we get stuck with it. There are different ways this can impact us and I dive into the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual implications of unresolved anger. Survival mode, running on empty, pushing past fatigue, might feel 'normal' but it's not sustainable. I share symptoms of unresolved anger in your physical and emotional state and how living on 'high alert' is chronically exhausting your nervous system which can make you more reactive and easily triggered. Whether it's physical symptoms you experience from burying anger, mental/emotional, or even spiritual- the bottom line is it's costing you more than you realize. We've become so numb to what our bodies are communicating, living in busyness and stress. Slow down a minute with me today. Take time to breathe, listen in, and see what your body's trying to tell you. If we want to change how we respond vs react, to live more joyfully and have healthier relationships (including with God) then we need to consider the cost of pushing through another day and letting anger go unchecked. Your body has so many answers for your mind and heart. Your nervous system longs for rest. Your soul craves connection and the Holy Spirit longs to help you heal from harm and move into purpose. This episode is for every single woman out there. You've felt the exhaustion, overwhelm, chronic busyness, and still felt like it's not enough. It makes sense that you've felt angry. Now, let's help you find a way to release it so it releases its hold on you. I hope this episode speaks to you! Episode 17, Part 2 - The Reformation of Family with Jenny Donnelly – The Power of a Kingdom Family & the Power of your True Identity
Okay friend… get ready, because Part 2 of my conversation with the one & only Jenny Donnelly goes even DEEPER into family and how YOU- as a mom- carry such a powerful authority in your home when you operate from your true identity. In this episode, Jenny and I unpack four signs you're out of ALIGNMENT with your true identity: self-protection, defensiveness, isolation, and separation. She explains how each of these detaches you from your divine authority as you operate in your own power vs the supernatural power of our super-abundant, miracle-working God. We talk about fear, fatigue, and survival mode- how they shape our reactions vs responding in love and how to get back into alignment with the Holy Spirit. Wait until you hear our chat about Kingdom Family vs. American Family. WOW — this part will really open your eyes! Jenny shares a prophetic picture she saw of the cross and how the enemy's been working overtime to disconnect us from each other. We thrive in community because we were created for connection not isolation. When the family is restored the kingdom way, it's an unshakeable force. And then… prayer! My goodness. Jenny speaks truth about how your voice, declaring bold prayers, is one of the most powerful forces in your home. She shares how to pray for your kids from their TRUE identity — not from the 'difficult' kid in front of you but the person God made them. This is one to play on repeat! Her testimony of praying for her daughter and watching her become who God revealed her to be, who Jenny began praying for years before, is so inspiring. You have the ability to pray like that for your family, too. This episode is a DON'T MISS and a TAG TO REPLAY LATER and of course, share! This is a prophetic message to you as we prepare for a new year. How do you plan to move forward in it? **And if ya missed last week's episode for Part 1 of our convo, go back and watch/listen! She shares her own personal testimony of being broken down and how God used that dark season to fuel healing her heart and the hearts of women everywhere. Episode 15: The Truth About Imposter Syndrome! How To Show Up In It vs Shrink Back with Melissa Hughes
Ever felt like you’re a total FRAUD? Like any minute someone's going to figure out just how unqualified or imperfect you are? SAME. In this episode of The BAD Mom Show, I sit down with my powerhouse friend Melissa Hughes — TikTok influencer, international speaker, best-selling author, and a real-talker. We unpack the truth about imposter syndrome, how it sneaks into motherhood, career and calling, and how to handle the moments when your mind says 'you’re not enough, you don't have what it takes, just quit before they find out.' Melissa shares her own story of feeling unqualified as a new mom and watching God take her valley season into a viral moment on TikTok that included 22 million views and a spot on the Kelly Clarkson show! Overnight she had a platform and felt very much an imposter in this new arena- coming from a daycare center. She shares how God used that moment to call her into deeper dependency on Him because afterall- if we could reach our impossible dreams on our own, we wouldn't need faith much, would we? God always calls us to things we’re not qualified for - that's the point! But when we take steps of faith with Him, He continues to qualify us through our action. We talk about the difference between striving and stepping out in faith, what it means to let God refine your heart in the hidden seasons, and how surrender always precedes success. As Melissa says in the episode, 'the antidote to imposter syndrome is authenticity.' When you stop pretending and show up as your true self, that’s when God moves. This episode is PACKED with nuggets you'll want to hold onto so get cozy and be ready to embrace the discomfort of imposter syndrome! It's a sign you're on the right path. Would you do me a favor? Episode 14: The Truth Hiding Behind Anger (Mom Anger Series Part 2)
Let’s be honest — mom anger is something so many of us battle, but few want to admit out loud. If you’ve ever found yourself snapping over something small and wondering, “Why am I like this?” — this one’s for you. In this second part of the Mom Anger Series, I unpack the truth hiding behind your anger and the fears that quietly drive your reactions. Here’s the good news: anger isn’t the enemy — it’s information. It’s your heart saying, “Something deeper needs healing.” We’ll explore the spiritual and emotional roots of mom anger, including: 🔥 The fear of losing control and how it keeps you striving to hold everything together. 💔 The fear of rejection and why you feel unseen, even by the people you love most. 😔 The fear of not being enough — and how this lie fuels guilt, shame, and exhaustion. You’ll learn how to pause, reflect, and let God rewire those old reactions with truth. See, faith and emotional healingare integral parts of the process. Motherhood isn’t about perfection but about walking with God through our mess and humbly allowing Him to show us where we need to keep healing. You’re not a bad mom. You’re learning something new and that takes time so don't give up. Give yourself grace. Be curious vs judgmental and know you ARE growing and healing. ✨ If today’s episode spoke to you, or you know a mom who struggles with anger and feels too ashamed to admit it, share this series with her! It’s in our vulnerability and honesty that we grow and help set others free. Episode 13: Mom Anger—Everyone Has It. No One Talks About It.
Let’s be real—mom anger is one of those things nobody wants to talk about but we've all felt. You know that moment when your patience snaps, your tone sharpens, or you walk away thinking, 'What is wrong with me?!' I’ve been there too. That's why we're talking about it. In this first part of my Mom Anger Series, we’re getting real about what it is and its roots. I share my own experience with anger- how I grew up with it and vowed I'd never let it into my parenting only to find myself repeating the patterns of my past. I share how shame, silence, and self-condemnation keep us trapped and the power of speaking about it. It wasn't until I heard another woman’s story that I began to feel courageous enough to face my own. In this episode, we dig into: 🔥 Why anger itself isn’t the problem—it’s a signal. 💡 The different faces of anger: 'repressor' or 'expresser' 💔 The deeper roots of anger 🙏 My simple framework: Stop, Drop, and Soul—a way to pause, process, and invite God into the emotional moments Anger isn’t something to hide or hate—it’s a signal that something in you needs healing. God built every emotion you have on purpose, and when you start to see anger as an invitation instead of a flaw, things begin to change. ✨ If this episode spoke to you, PLEASE TAP THAT SHARE BUTTON and send it to a friend right now who’s been struggling and feels like she’s the only one with mom anger. Episode 11: The Spiritual Practice of Gratitude and a ‘Get To’ Attitude with Virginia Wear Kujabi
Hey mama—today’s conversation is one that will absolutely speak to you. I’m sitting down with my dear friend, Virginia Wear Kujabi—an international speaker, author, and host of The Formed Life podcast. We unpack what it really means to live a life of gratitude, not just when life feels good, but when it’s hard, messy, and nothing looks like what you prayed for. Especially in motherhood, this can be challenging in the mundane day-to-day details. Virginia shares how her journey with gratitude started from a place of disappointment and entitlement—when she realized she was doing “all the right things” but still felt let down by God. Through that wake-up call, she discovered gratitude as a spiritual practice, not just a feeling. She walks us through how giving thanks, before seeing the outcome, opens our eyes to God’s fingerprints all over our lives. Virginia shares how gratitude carried her through real-life storms like her newborn son’s open-heart surgery and the exhaustion of motherhood. It's changed the way she experiences everyday moments, from folding laundry to cooking dinner and everything in between. She shares a simple prayer you can make a mantra for yourself when you're not sure how to give thanks but want to anyway. And, we also discuss what gratitude is NOT because there is a difference between gratitude and toxic positivity. If you’re like me, gratitude is something we have to be intentional about or else frustration and disappointment are just waiting to kick in. Episode 10: You Are the Heart of Your Home! Why That Matters and How to Own It
Ever notice how when you’re ‘off’ the whole family feels it? Conversations get prickly, the kids bicker, and your husband slowly starts backing away…Yeah, been there too. In this episode, we’ll get honest about why that happens and why it matters so much. Because, you are the heart of your home. I share a powerful moment when God whispered to me, “I made you the heart of your home. But if your heart is broken, you’ll keep leading from those broken places.” That truth hit hard. It reminded me that our energy, words, and body language set the tone of our homes. When our hearts are stuck in past pain patterns, it impacts everything in us and ripples into the atmosphere of our family. In this episode, we unpack: How your emotional and spiritual health shapes the tone of your home. The biblical foundation of being “the heart” and why your role is divinely significant. How the enemy uses exhaustion, distraction, and comparison to steal your peace. Practical steps to nurture your heart—through quiet time with God, healing old wounds, and taking charge of your thoughts & words. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about awareness, doing the work, and accepting God’s grace along the way. Because when your heart is whole, your home thrives. Make sure to stick around ‘til the end- I have a slecial prayer for you. You’re not just managing your house, you are leading a new legacy. Episode 9: Dreams Don’t End at Motherhood: Ignite Your Dreams, Drop People-Pleasing, and Be More Than Mom with Dr. Emily Jacobs Jacobs
Ever felt like your dreams ended the day you became a mom? That the version of “you” before motherhood somehow got lost in the carpool line, dishes, and late-night feedings? You’re not alone—and this conversation proves it. In this episode, I sit down with the incredible Dr. Emily Jacobs—wife, mom of two, advanced practice nurse, leadership coach, author, and founder of Empowered Moms, a community where dreams don’t end at motherhood. She’s also the creator of the More Than Mom Mentorship Program, which helps women rediscover who they are beyond the roles they play, gain fresh perspective into their dreams and provides powerful support through community. We dig deep into: The myth that motherhood means losing yourself—and how God never designed it that way. How to recognize when “busy” becomes a distraction to your purpose. The people-pleasing truth- when kindness is actually keeping you stuck. The power of investing in yourself without guilt. How to reclaim your dreams while keeping your family and faith first. Emily shares how Empowered Moms was born out of her own struggle with identity after having kids, and how one simple act of courage—putting down a deposit for her first event—turned into a thriving movement helping women rise in leadership and purpose. It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s a reminder that you can be a devoted mom and still chase the dreams God placed in your heart. ✨ If this message spoke to you, go leave a review and be sure to follow Dr. Emily on her socials—and check out her program, More Than Mom, before doors close! 👩⚕️ Follow Dr. Emily Jacobs Instagram: @dremilyjacobs More Than Mom Mentorship Program: empoweredmoms.co/morethanmom/morethanmominfo 📲 Connect with me: Instagram: @thetheresatodd Facebook: @thetheresatodd Website: www.thetheresatodd.com

Episode 8: Too Much? Not Enough? Nope! The Secret of Your Superpower
Ever been told you’re too much—too loud, too emotional, too sensitive—or maybe not enough—not patient enough, not good enough, not spiritual enough? You’ve probably carried those words for years without realizing how deeply they shaped how you see yourself. But here’s the truth: those labels aren’t your limitation—they’re the exact place where your superpower is hiding. In this episode, I open up about the stories we’ve believed since childhood—the ones that made us feel small, wrong, or unworthy—and how they’ve kept us spinning in cycles of shame, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. We’ll explore why these lies stick, how they show up in motherhood and relationships, and what God actually says about who you are. You’ll hear me unpack: How “too much” and “not enough” are just two sides of the same coin—both rooted in shame. The truth about your God-given wiring and how the enemy tries to twist it into insecurity. Practical steps to call out the lies, replace them with scripture, and reclaim your strength as the heart of your home. Why your boldness, sensitivity, or passion isn’t a flaw—it’s divine design. This episode is all about flipping the narrative. You are not too much, and you are definitely not lacking. God handcrafted you with purpose, power, and personality that this world needs. It’s time to uncover the strength hiding behind the labels and walk confidently in who God says you are. ✨ CTA: 1️⃣ Subscribe to The BAD Mom Show and leave a 5-star review. 2️⃣ Share this episode with a friend and help her see that her superpower is hiding behind her “too much” or “not enough.” 📲 Connect with me: Instagram: @thetheresatodd Facebook: @thetheresatodd Website: www.thetheresatodd.com

Episode 7: Where Do We Go From Here? From Troubled to Triumphant
This week’s episode was hard for me to find the words for at first. The energy has felt heavy, feelings volatile, and it's left a lot of people asking, 'Where do we go from here?'. After the tragic events we witnessed this past month, with the assassination of Charlie Kirk, I couldn’t just jump back into my usual message without pausing. Something shifted here in all of us, in our nation, and the world. The grief, the shock, and the weight of it all left me asking the same question. How do we move forward? I know I'm not the only one so, I wanted to share what I got from the aftermath of this greatly impactful man's life and death. Here’s what I share: Grief and Reflection – Why it’s okay to step back, get quiet, and process loss instead of rushing to “fix it.” God’s Restoration – How even in tragedy, He redeems what was meant for evil and turns it for good (Romans 8:28). Rising in Authority – Why our role as mothers matters more than ever. This isn’t a time to shrink back but to stand boldly as the frontline leadership for your children, shaping the next generation with boldness and faith. Walking in Triumph – We live FROM victory, not working toward it. Grab these ways to shift from fear and hopelessness to courage, strength, and triumph with God. God tells us “Do not fear” 365 times in the bible for a good reason. So don't let the enemy have your peace. Remember who you are because of whose you are- You are a chosen leader on divine assignment as the heart of your home. I hope this episode speaks to you on a personal level and emboldens you to take the steps necessary to own your mantle of leadership as MOM and lead with strength, love, and conviction. The truth of God's impact- nothing is too big or too small for Him to handle. He works all things, even the most tragic, together for the greater good and glory of His kingdom. I don't know about you but that fires me up and I'm so thankful to be a part of His workmanship. ✨ Would you do one thing for me today? If this message was impactful please go leave a review and share this episode with a friend. Help spread this message to other moms who may be stuck in fear about the world we live in. Help them shake off the their troubles and walk out in TRIUMPH! 📲 Connect with me: Instagram: @thetheresatodd Facebook: @thetheresatodd Website: www.thetheresatodd.com

Episode 6: Why You Keep Snapping and How To Show Up Differently
Snapping at your kids over little things doesn’t mean you’re a bad mom, but it sure feels like it in the moment Instead of living with mom guilt let's be brave and explore what it actually means- there's something deeper going on. In this episode, we’ll unpack the hidden triggers, why your brain reacts this way, and how to respond with grace vs guilt. Truth time: We have all had 'bad mommy' moments where something as little as those sock balls on the floor or spilled juice just send us over the edge. Directly following your outrage is the shame spiral shouting: “Look at you, you're out of control. You're ruining them. You'll never get this right.” But here’s what I've learned and want you to know too: The snap isn’t evidence that something's wrong with you. It’s a signal; a clue. Your body is telling you something on a heart level needs your attention. In this episode, I dig into: Practical things that lead to getting triggered like lack of sleep, hunger, and social isolation. Deeper emotional and spiritual roots: rejection wounds, disconnection from God, shame & unworthiness. The brain science behind why your nervous system jumps into fight, flight, or freeze mode (even when the “danger” isn't actually dangerous). Three powerful steps to break the cycle and respond differently: recognize the warning signs in your body, pause, reset negative thoughts with truth, and reframe the story. I’ll also share how I’ve learned to practice this in my own “triggered times,” like afternoon carpool, and give myself what I need before the blow up—whether it’s a nap, a snack, or good cry out to God. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, small steps, and giving yourself grace along the way. You can learn to snap less, love deeper, and lead your home with peaceful strength. 📲 Connect with me: Instagram: @thetheresatodd Facebook: @thetheresatodd Website: www.thetheresatodd.com ✨ CTA: Share this with another mom to let her know she’s not alone. Episode 5: The Lie of Failing Motherhood—And the Truth of Your Leadership
Failing? Or fiercely called? If you’ve ever wrestled with mom guilt or felt like you’re not enough, this episode is for you. We’ll unpack the truth about your mantle of leadership as a mom, why the enemy attacks your confidence, and 3 ways to walk boldly in this divine assignment God's entrusted to you. Let’s be real—we’ve all gone to bed replaying the all the things that DIDN'T go well that day: the meltdowns, words blurted out and you wish you could take back, the messes. Then we wake up already anxious, feeling behind, and there it is- that whisper: “You’re failing them.” It happens so quickly but here’s the truth—you aren't meant to stay stuck in performance mode, living off of survival stress. In this episode, I share three powerful shifts that help me fight back when the fear of failure creeps in: Remember You Were Made for This – God hand-selected you to be the heart of your home. Jeremiah 1:5 says He knew you before you were even formed—and He chose you for your family. Rewire the Lies in Real Time – Stop letting shame spiral you out of your true identity. Learn how to take every thought captive and replace it with God’s truth: “I am not failing. I am growing.” Practice Humility Over Perfection – Your kids don’t need a flawless mom, they need a humble one who can admit you make mistakes, can ask for forgiveness, and model what receiving grace looks like. You're not a failure and you're not alone. Every time you lean into God’s strength instead of your own, you’re making progress to break unhealthy cycles and build a new legacy. Episode 4: The Silent Struggle Stealing Your Joy
Let’s get honest—have you ever felt invisible? Like you’re in a house full of people, noise, and chaos, yet no one actually notices you? You’re doing everything, giving everything, but deep down you feel overlooked, unappreciated, maybe even forgotten. That’s the silent struggle so many of us battle and, quite frankly, it’s stealing your joy. In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on what’s really behind that feeling which is, rejection. Not just the surface kind, but a deep-rooted kind that whisper lies like, “You don’t matter. Nobody cares what you have to say. It's like you're invisible.” I share how these lies are powerful and start in childhood, shaping the way we show up today, in motherhood. I talk about the ways this belief cripples our confidence and keep us stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, perfectionism, and burnout. We dive into how rejection shows up in different aspects of life: Emotionally: irritability, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, low-level sadness Physically: headaches, brain fog, digestive issues, literal body fatigue Relationships: pulling away from your spouse or kids, resentment, avoiding vulnerability But here’s the truth I want you to get in your soul: you are NOT invisible. God calls you seen, chosen, and deeply loved. He chose YOU, out of all the people in the world, as a leader with divine authority in your home. That means you no longer have to listen to that whisper trying to keep you stuck, feeling insignificant and playing small. In this episode, I’ll walk you through practical steps to break up with the lies, take every thought captive, and replace those lies with God’s truth. When you start declaring His Word over your life, everything begins to shift. If today’s episode spoke to you, don’t keep it to yourself—share it with another mom who needs to hear she’s not invisible. Episode 3: I Turned 45 And I Didn’t Miss My Moment
Today I’m sharing a really personal story—one that started when I was in a mastermind about 5 years ago and my mentor asked, “Do you really want to wake up one day and be 45, wishing you’d gone for it?” Those words hit me like a bomb and in that moment I felt the anxiety of missing my moment, needing to hurry up, to catch up and prove I was somebody significant too. I attached my worth to 'success' and started chasing a dream that wasn't even mine (but everyone else was doing it), launching a business, starting a group; things that sounded great in theory but weren't based in passion. I hustled hard to prove I was good, and once I reached that level, or got the clients, then I'd...I'd what? Arrive? Fulfill my destiny? But here’s the kicker: I was so driven by the fear of 'missing my moment' and running out of time that I lost perspective on what I truly valued. I worked incessantly and bore little fruit. I was stressed out, anxious, and discouraged but kept going despite being exhausted. The truth is I WAS missing it- my true calling as a mom. This realization led me to an even harder truth which was, chasing purpose felt easier than facing the lies I believed about myself as a mom. In this episode, I get real about: The pressure to prove I was valuable and had a purpose (and how it left me burned out). The moment I realized I was literally watching my life pass me by through glass doors. How God lovingly pruned away the hustle and realigned my priorities. Why motherhood isn’t robbing you of purpose—it’s refining you for it. Turning 45 showed me I hadn’t missed my moment at all. Instead, God was inviting me into new levels of clarity about my true calling, His purpose for past pain, and how significant my leadership as moms is. I get to set the tone as the heart of my home. And guess what? He wants to do the same for you. You are not too late. You’re not too far gone. You're not missing your moment—you are living it. 👉 Send me a DM on Instagram @thetheresatodd and let me know what hit home for you. ✨ Share this episode on your socials and TAG ME! ⭐ And don’t forget to hit follow so you never miss new episodes of The BAD Mom Show every Wednesday. 📲 Connect with me: Instagram: @thetheresatodd Facebook: @thetheresatodd Website: www.thetheresatodd.com

Episode 2: Why You’re B.A.D. in All the Right Ways
When you hear the phrase “bad mom,” what comes up for you? Shame? Fear? That moment you wish you could take back? I get it. I used to run as far away from that label as possible too; push it aside, stay busy because deep down-- I believed it was true. But God showed me something powerful: the very thing I was avoiding was exactly where He was waiting. He wanted to put his fingerprint on the things I thought I could bury deep and keep to myself: the thoughts and memories on replay fueling the shameful feeling of being bad. But with His help, the way only He can give it, I began to see a different truth and stopped running. That’s why around here, B.A.D. doesn’t mean broken. It means: B – Blessed: You are not cursed, flawed, or disqualified. You are chosen, forgiven, and set apart. A – Already Approved of: You don’t have to hustle or prove your worth. God calls you His beloved, not because of what you do, but because of who you are. D – Divinely Designed: Every fiery, sensitive, or “too much” part of you was crafted on purpose for a great purpose. You were made for this mantle of motherhood. In this episode, I share my own story of running from shame, performing for worth, and the moment God whispered: “I chose you to be the heart of your home.” If your heart has been broken or weighed down by lies, He wants to heal it—because your heart matters. You are not a mistake. You are not failing. You are a B.A.D. Mom—Blessed, Already Approved, and Divinely Designed. 🔥 Your Next Step: Write down: “I’m a B.A.D. Mom—Blessed, Already Approved of, and Divinely Designed” on a sticky note where you’ll see it daily. Say it out loud atleast once a day (especially when doubt tries to creep in)!
