Eps 056: Tangible Liberation w. Giana Cerasia
My conversation with Giana explores the deeply personal nature of systems change – revealing how true transformation begins within.Giana shares her journey from navigating unsafe early environments to working across education, government, and corporate systems, ultimately arriving at a powerful truth: we each hold agency within the systems we inhabit.Together, we unpack co-ownership, inner liberation, and the courage required to face ourselves fully. This episode reframes “doing the work” as an unglamorous but profound process of self-awareness, compassion, and choice—where even the smallest acts of rebellion can become catalysts for meaningful change.Connect with Giana:• Her website• Her Instagram• Her Free Monthly Women’s Circle• Her PodcastConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 055: How I plan my time using astrology
Astrology is a phenomenal tool for helping a person piece together and define who they are. It’s a system that can explain what shape of the universe we’re embodying while in this lifetime – and I love it for that. But astrology is also a timing tool, one that helps us understand when certain events are going to occur, and where in our lives they will unfold – and that part of astrology is a part I find exceptionally valuable. In a world in which time is our most precious resource, wouldn’t it be helpful to have a system that tells us how we’re going to be activated ahead of time? Where our attention will be focused? What things we’ll be called to do, and learn about, and respond to? So that we could better plan and choose how we show up – with less guilt, less questioning, less confusion? In this episode I to share with you the ways I utilize the planetary movements to help me plan my time – in alignment with my moods, my energy, my interests, and to support my larger goals and visions, and from a yearly, seasonal, monthly, week and daily viewpoint.Mentioned:How I plan my time using astrology substackTrusted Timing waitlistEps 42: How to work with all the phases of the moon Spacious (empty houses) workshopConnect with me:Astrology Readings · Life Coaching · Substack · Pinterest · Threads

Taurus Season 2026
Taurus season begins in the body. After the fire and initiation of Aries, this is where we slow down and ask: how do we make this real? How do we take what’s been sparked and build it into something sustainable?Taurus is fixed earth – steady, grounded, and devoted to what feels nourishing and true. Like the middle of spring, growth is already underway. So now it’s about tending it – deepening roots while allowing for steady, embodied expansion. But this Taurus season is going to look and feel a little different. After eight years, Uranus completes its journey through the sign, closing out a long chapter of disruption and value redefinition. As it moves into Gemini, a new era begins – one that reshapes how we think, communicate, and connect. The season opens with intensity, and continues with two very tender lunations – the Scorpio Full Moon and Taurus New Moon. By the end of the season, there’s a sense of mental expansion and creative breakthrough – a shift into a new way of thinking and being. And some of the best days of the year are found on May 18th and 19thIn this episode, we explore:Taurus as grounded, embodied growthThe shift from Aries initiation to Taurus integrationUranus ending it’s 8 year stay in Taurus and entering GeminiNavigating early-season intensity and burnoutThe Scorpio Full Moon and deep emotional reckoningMercury in Taurus and intentional expressionAligning action with values and collective changeThe Taurus New Moon and working with tendernessCreative breakthroughs with Mercury–UranusReturning to softness, connection, and stabilityThis is a season of rooting into what’s true while allowing it to evolve.YOU’RE INVITED to SPACIOUS: Empty Houses & How to Work With ThemIn this workshop we'll explore what your empty houses mean for you personally – the areas of life they represent, why these areas of life show up in a certain style, and how you can simply and practically integrate these parts of yourself.Time Stamps:00:10:13 Week 1 (April 19-25) – Running hot, cold, and erratic00:27:21 Week 2 (April 26-May 2) – Sensitive expressions & connections00:32:19 May 1 – Scorpio Full Moon00:45:03 Week 3 (May 3-9) – Protection through change00:55:37 Week 4 (May 10-16) – Sweetness & Tenderness00:59:00 May 16 – Taurus New Moon01:08:22 Week 5 (May 17-20) – Utmost nourishmentMentioned:• Uranus in Gemini article• Somatic & Creative Practices for AprilConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 054: Exercising visibility & creative joy w. Sarah Kleist
I’m so happy to have my new online friend turned IRL friend Sarah Kleist on the podcast today! Sarah is an actor, designer, web designer, and multi-passionate creative, and in our convo we explore what it really means to be a multi-hyphenate in today’s online entrepreneurial world. From holding multiple identities with confidence to using creativity as both a coping mechanism and a form of expression during uncertain times, Sarah shares how her career evolved from theater to web design during the pandemic, and how storytelling connects everything she creates.Together, we unpack visibility as a practice – not just for business growth, but as a way to expand self-expression, confidence, and presence in everyday life. We also dive into the relationship between creativity and joy, the power of showing up authentically, and why having fun might be the most underrated strategy for success. This episode is a reminder that your path doesn’t have to fit into one box—and that your art, in whatever form it takes, is enough.Connect with Sarah:Her websiteHer InstagramHer ThreadsHer Brand Photoshoot workshopMentioned:Alyssa LuiXanthe AppleyardConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 053: How to work with the astrological energy of Q2 2026
Q2 of 2026 feels like the season where what we’ve been planting begins to show us what’s actually growing. In this episode, I walk through the astrology of April, May, and June – moving through Aries, Taurus, and Gemini –and explore what this quarter asks of us collectively: clearer action, deeper discernment, and a stronger relationship to what truly nourishes us.We begin with the heat and activation of Aries season, where momentum returns and emotions can become important information, move into the grounding and restorative qualities of Taurus, and then enter the accelerating, idea-rich energy of Gemini as Uranus in Gemini opens an entirely new collective storyline. This quarter starts with some intensity, but by June there is real sweetness—more connection, more clarity, and moments that remind us what is worth caring for, building, and protecting. Aries Season 2026
After weeks of intense astrological build-up, the Spring Equinox opens the door to a new astrological year, and this one feels unmistakably different. With the Sun entering Aries and immediately activating Saturn and Neptune in Aries for the first time, we’re stepping into the seeding of an entirely new collective storyline around identity, leadership, and selfhood. If the last few weeks have felt intense or destabilizing, this season says: claim the new narrative. The spark has been lit, and now it’s time to consciously work with it.The final weeks of Aries season turn up the heat. What begins as a tender desire to protect something new within us quickly intensifies into a season of combustion, courage, confrontation, and recalibration. With Mars entering Aries, a powerful Aries New Moon, and multiple Mars–Saturn–Neptune activations, we’re navigating fire in its rawest form: motivation, anger, inspiration, frustration, and identity reckoning. This episode explores:The deeper meaning of Aries as initiatory fireThe Sun’s activation of the new Saturn–Neptune cycle in AriesMercury stationing direct on the North Node (a fated forward shift)A relationally rich Libra Full Moon at 12ºVenus entering Taurus and restoring sweetness, pleasure, and stabilityThe volatility of Mars–Uranus and Mars–NeptuneA highly charged Aries New Moon at 27°Mars conjunct Saturn: hitting the wallHow to work consciously with rage, inflammation, and blocked momentumThis is a season about learning how to handle heat – in your body, your relationships, and the collective – without letting it burn everything down.Time Stamps:00:07:59 Week 1 (March 20-21) – Fated Forward Shifts00:12:52 Week 2 (March-28) – New Storylines00:24:25 April 1 – Libra Full Moon00:39:56 Week 3 (March 29-April 4) – Navigating Fire00:53:00 Week 4 (April 5-11) – War of Ideals01:08:04 April 17 – Aries New Moon01:20:50 Week 5 (April 12-19) – Direct Your Motivation WiselyMentioned:Book a reading with me to make sense of this Aries season for yourselfSocial Change Ecosystem MapCultivating Safety EpisodeKarla McLarenConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 052: Original thinking & new world building w. Chelsea Riffe
I’m so excited to share this conversation with cultural philosopher, strategist, and fascinating human, Chelsea Riffe ✨This episode is a deep dive into curiosity, original thinking, and what it means to develop your own philosophy in a world that constantly tells us what and how to think. We talk about why curiosity is being quietly trained out of us, how endless inputs (social media, AI, media cycles) can cloud our ability to think clearly, and why cultivating a distinct worldview might be one of the most valuable currencies of the next decade.Chelsea also shares the thinking behind her new program, Supernova – a modern philosophical salon for creative entrepreneurs who want to build ideas, frameworks, and schools of thought rather than just more “content.”This conversation is a statement for how and why allowing yourself to think a little more deeply (and a little more weirdly) might actually be the thing the world needs most right now.If you’ve been craving more depth, more nuance, and more meaningful conversations, this one is for you.Tune in today!Find Chelsea:Her podcastSupernovaPitch PerfectHer InstagramHer ThreadsMentioned:Social LifeConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 051: How to Synthesize your Big 3 – Rising, Sun & Moon
The meaning of what's come to be known as your "Big Three" is a bit illusive, so in tihs episode, I break down how to synthesize your Rising, Sun, and Moon in your natal chart as an entry point to deeper self-understanding.Rather than reducing astrology to personality stereotypes, I reframes these major placements as an energetic blueprint:Rising sign → your motivating life force and trajectorySun sign → your conscious identity and purposeMoon sign → how you nourish yourself so you can sustain it allThis episode is not about prescribing a career path or telling you who you “should” be. Instead, it offers a framework for energetic alignment – helping you understand what propels you, what you identify with, and what truly feeds you so your life feels less chaotic and more whole.I also include a few extra layers for nuance, so you'll learn how to mix in:The ruling planet of each placementThe house it lives inWhere Leo and Cancer fall in the chart (for the Sun and Moon)The companion Substack with visuals and breakdowns can be found here for further integration.Join the Orienting to Spring workshop!Mentioned:Book a reading with meKnow your Moon, know your comfort zoneHow to work with every moonEps 042: How to work with all phases of the moonConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Lunar Series · March 2026: Virgo Lunar Eclipse & Pisces New Moon
March is a powerful month, and much of that power comes from the lunations. This month activates the Pisces–Virgo axis, illuminating the ongoing eclipse dialogue between intuition, belief, imagination, and surrender (Pisces) and discernment, embodiment, systems, and practical care (Virgo). This axis teaches us how to zoom all the way out and all the way in — and how to let those perspectives inform one another. We open the month on March 3 with a Full Moon Eclipse at the South Node in Virgo at 12º. This eclipse is asking:Where are perfectionism, over-optimization, or self-criticism ready to be released? How have control, routine, or logic been used as substitutes for trust? What information is available through your body, intuition, and felt experience when clarity is unavailable?Later in the month, on March 18, we arrive at a New Moon in Pisces at 28º, closing eclipse season and opening a new chapter. This New Moon is seeding:A new belief system about what is possible for you and the collectiveA vision rooted in intuition, values, and compassionThe courage to act on a dream before you have all the proofThis lunation invites you to break old mental molds, flip limiting narratives, and root your future actions in what truly nourishes and matters.March reminds us: intuition is a resource, belief is a catalyst, and we are stepping into a new era of consciousness — one thought, one choice, one leap at a time.Reminder that my astrology consultations are $111 until March 21st! Eps 050: Capacity to hold both despair & delight w. Kayleigh Martin
Today I’m sharing an intimate, embodied conversation I had with somatic life coach Kayleigh Martin about connection, integration, and staying human in polarized times. What begins as a reflection on instant relational depth expands into a rich dialogue on somatics, trauma, lineage, power, and the radical act of weaving – rather than rejecting – the fragmented parts of ourselves.Kayleigh and I examine how unintegrated trauma lives in bodies and systems, and how returning to the body becomes a pathway for both personal and social transformation. Themes of burnout under capitalism, entrepreneurship as a somatic initiation, nervous system wisdom, and collective grief are held alongside reflections on disagreement, capacity, and mobilization – without collapsing into shutdown or disconnection. At its core, this conversation explores duality and wholeness: holding despair and delight at once, honoring the body’s intelligence, reclaiming “no” as an expansive and protective force, and reframing joy as a radical form of resourcing. Together, these threads point toward more integrated, compassionate ways of being – rooted in the body, widened in capacity, and alive to the full spectrum of human experience.Connect with Kayleigh:On instagram hereOn threads hereOn her podcast hereVia HavenOur episode on her podcastMentioned:Creative LivingSocial Change Ecosystem map by Deepa IyerEternal Sunshine of the Spotless MindConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 049: Cultivating Safety
What creates safety?Safety is defined as: the condition of being protected from or unlikely to cause danger, risk, or injury. But what are the components that actually create a sense of safety in a person’s life? And how do we continue to create it in the midst of world that is constantly changing, and feeling less safe and secure. In this episode I discuss 5 main components that add to a experience of safety - physical, emotional, mental, relational -Being allowed to be vulnerableConsistent access to essential resourcesResiliency from conflictTrust produced by proof of actionBeing able to ask for and receive supportSuggestion for how to work with this episode:Choose just one of the five components listed above.Examine – how do you experience this component of safety in your life? How do you generate it within yourself, and how are you contributing to more of this component in your relationships and communities? What would it look like to live in a world where safety wasn’t a privilege, but a right?Mentioned:Prentis Hemphill, What is Takes to HealConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

February is a powerful month – perhaps THE MOST powerful month of the year, and part of that power comes from the lunations. This month activates the Leo–Aquarius axis, spotlighting the tension and dialogue between individual identity, leadership, and self-expression (Leo) and collective responsibility, systems, and humanitarian vision (Aquarius). We open the month on February 1 with a Full Moon in Leo at 13º. This Full Moon is asking:How are your talents, creativity, leadership, and identity being used in service of the collective?Where can access be widened, structures reimagined, or generosity increased so more people can benefit? How do you remain fully valued without hoarding power or visibility? The we step into eclipse season with the February 17 New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius at 28º – the first of a series of eclipses in Aquarius that will continue through 2028. That said, this robust conversation offers so many reflections on auditing work for alignment, redefining pleasure in personal language, navigating hard conversations, and embracing conflict as intimacy, and how sustainable success emerges from integration rather than sacrifice.Grounded in Xanthe’s real-life transitions, she offers so much insight on a human-centered blueprint for building a life and business that honors the whole self.Connect with Xanthe:On instagram hereOn tiktok hereOn her podcast hereVia Social LifeAlso Mentioned:Samantha MacKinnonChelsea RiffeConnect with me:Astrology Readings // Life Coaching // Substack // Pinterest // Threads // Website

Eps 044: How I'm prepping for 2026 + what I'm learning now
One of my goals for 2026 is to live more in alignment with my energetic cycles and rhythms, and to detach from the linearity we so often prescribe to. So if that is my goal, this December is my introduction to actually living into that belief and way of being. In this episode I discuss some of the themes that have been coming into clarity around my work, the way I operate, the fears my business and work-ethic are rooted in, and what I plan to do to align myself with the vision I'm holding for the year ahead – including taking a break on a few aspects of my business. My invitation for everyone during this time to cultivate some space - even just a little - to assess where and how your energy is being distributed and whether or not that output/production is reciprocal.Connect with me:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

Eps 043: Destigmatizing menopause, your agency in your own health, and body wisdom w. Monica Monfre
Monica Monfre is a long time friend, teacher, dancer, and BRCA1 positive genetic mutation holder. In this episode we talk through how she navigated the loss of her sister to breast cancer, and how that experience has shaped her life since – inevitably discovering her own predisposition to ovarian cancer. You might hear me learning in real time what some of the terms Monica is uses to describe the experiences of breast and ovarian cancer are, and that's the point of this conversation – to become more familiar with the language of our reproductive health and to reduce the stigmas that go along with things like cancer, menopause, hormone therapy, etc.Overall this is a conversation about the agency you have over your body and health, the wisdom of our bodies and following our intuition - especially when it comes to preventative care - and the importance of naming your identity, and sharing about your health experiences.Connect with Monica on Threads / InstagramMentioned:Monica’s interview in The New York TimesThe BreastiesThe Breast of UsEps 042: How to work with all phases of the moonConnect with me:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

Eps 041: Blazing a trail for women in business w. Joan Maloney (my mom)
Welcome to a very special episode! My incredible and inspirational mom, Joan Maloney, joins me to share a little of her backstory – the journey it took for her to get from small town book worm, to receptionist/delivery driver, to thriving business woman with a highly successful graphic design studio. In this episode she shares stories about her resiliency – from navigating sexual harassment, to starting a business in the midst of physical recovery from back to back car accidents, to running a studio while parenting a young daughter. She was doing it all before we knew how to crawl, and she blazed a trail for all of us to walk down – must more easily that she did.I hope you enjoy this little window into her life and our relationship, and be sure to check out her forthcoming book!Mentioned:Studio 318Eps 005: Work-life BalanceConnect with me:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

Eps 040: The Pillars of a Designed Life
I’m thrilled to be sharing this episode describing the pillars of what living a Designed Life means - the practices, processes, perspectives, etc. For so many years I’ve been operating with these pillars in my life and they’ve been infused into my work, but only recently did they fully coalesce into these principles. The main 3 that operate in a cycle are:It starts with you – reclamationKnow what you’re choosing – alignmentWater what you want to grow – cultivationThis cycle is then supported by 4 secondary pillars, each connected to a different element: do hard things with great self-care – earth time is what you make it – air it’s all beauty – fire everything has a ripple effect – waterI describe in detail what each of these pillars mean and what they look like in action so you can understand your own life through the lens of Design.MentionedSvādhyāyaThe Mysteries of the Dark MoonXanthe Appleyard / Leisure EthicKaitlyn KesslerIdentity Evolution WorkbookJess Ellen AstrologyOn Being interview with Matthew SanfordEp 019: Unity ConsciousnessJane Goodall’s last words

Eps 039: Personal update - how I'm using my time while on a two week personal retreat
How often do we carve out time, to then only use it by succumbing to distraction or squandering it with petty little projects? How often do we arrive at a moment of spaciousness only to then not feel capable of immersing ourselves fully into it?In this episode I layout my schedule for the two weeks I'll be on a solo self-guided retreat – the projects I plan to work on, the books I plan to read, and the activities I plan to enjoy.I recorded this episode at 10pm the night before I flew out because I was having a lot of creative blocks around what I wanted to share this week and it took me awhile to arrive on this topic. But as I was journalling (in an attempt to stay up all night to get to the airport at 4am) the idea of sharing how I'll be using my time during this solo experience felt timely and relevant. So also please know that it's not the most structured and cohesive eps I've ever recorded!I'd love to what resonated for you from anything I shared here, and can't wait to update you on how the trip unfolds!Mentioned:Constellations Scorpio SeasonThe Mysteries of the Dark MoonEssbe JewelryRead the connected Substack to this episodeConnect with me:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

It is such an honor to have this chat with my long time friend, teacher and mentor Lindsay Fauntleroy! Lindsay is the founder of The Spirit Seed School, where she brings her knowledge of indigenous healing modalities, alternative medicines, and threads of connecting to spirit all together to support creators and leaders to heal in their own right. In this episode we talk about her journey to entrepreneurship, the evolutions of her business and how she's traversed them, her mission and vision for why her work in this world of colonialism, patriarchy, sexism, and division is so necessary, and so, so much more. She ends with a pledge that is a prayer for all of us, that had me in tears as we wrapped up our convo. Eps 037: How to navigate fear when in transition
Everyday fear (not the kind of fear that arises when we're actually physically in danger) can sometimes operate under the surface – informing our decisions, directing our responses, and moving us in specific directions with us really knowing it.Especially when we're in the middle of big life transitions and transformations, fear of not knowing what's ahead is naturally likely to crop up.In this episode I dissect the physical, mental, and energetic components of fear, so that when it arises for you, you can more easily turn your awareness towards it, and know how to manage it. Note: this episode is not for anyone who is experiencing immediate or literal danger, or is struggling with phobia. Please seek profession support in both instances. Lunar Series · September 2025: Pisces Lunar Eclipse & Virgo Solar Eclipse
It's officially eclipse season friends! This last eclipse series of 2025 harkens us back to Spring of 2025 and Fall of 2024 – there's a theme of growth and unravelling in a part of your life and it's getting a boost of stimulation this coming month. The Pisces eclipse at the North Node on September 7th ushers in a new layer of connectivity, openness to possibility, and dissolving of boundaries that have kept us from the unification we're naturally born to desire. This moment might have you feel like you're spiraling a bit, but you can trust that after the dizzy spell dies down, you'll be on the path you need to now walk. This eclipse connects back to the eclipse in Pisces on Sept 18, 2024 and will connect to the eclipse on Aug 28, 2026.The Virgo eclipse at the South Node on September 21st as for us to continue a similar theme – of consciously (or unconsciously) shaking up the systems and structures and compartmentalized parts of our lives that have been holding us back from deeper connection, unification, understanding and fairness. This will likely be represented in the collective, but also within yourself. What defense mechanisms supported you and created safety for you in the past, but are no longer helping your energy now? This eclipse story connects back to the eclipse in Virgo on March 14, 2025, and will connect to the upcoming eclipses in Virgo on March 3, 2026 and Feb 20, 2027.Mentioned:Constellations with Jess Ellen AstrologyHow to work with the current big planetary shiftsConnect with me:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

Solar Series: Virgo Season 2025
Welcome Virgo Season/ eclipse season! This month I have a very special cohost and fellow astrologer, life coach, yoga teacher, Jess, with me to explore and translate the very full energy of Virgo season - because everything is better with friends! This new season begins officially on August 22nd, but the Virgo New Moon on August 23rd fully initiates us into the tone shift. From there we have multiple planets changing signs, Uranus stationing retrograde, and (perhaps the most important of all) two eclipses! What does this all mean? This month is a turbulent, friends. Everything is going to be getting shaken up. But if I had to sum it up into a few main themes I mention – unboundaried compassion, experimentation and play in relationship, undoing patterns and wounds of perfectionism, affirming ways to embody heart-centered energy, and major beginnings and endings. Everything is on deck.Don't want to navigate Virgo season alone? Join Constellations for a communal exploration of every single transit – so you can land with the energy as it's unfolding in the sky, and in your life (relationships, work, family, resources, etc) and now how to work with it in real time. The more resourced and supported you are for the rollercoaster energy of this month, the more you'll step out of Virgo season with hair do in tact, sunglasses still on, and a bounce in your step even after the wild ride.Mentioned:Constellations with Jess Ellen AstrologyKey dates:08.22 Sun enters Virgo 08.23 New Moon - Virgo 0°08.25 Venus enters Leo (through 9.20)08.27 Venus in Leo opposes Pluto Rx in Aquarius09.01 Saturn Rx re-enters Pisces (through 2.13.26)09.02 Mercury enters Virgo (through 9.18)09.06 Uranus stations Rx (through 02.04.26)09.07 Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Total - Pisces 15°09.13 Sun conjunct Mercury in Virgo09.17 Mercury in Virgo opposes Saturn Rx in Pisces09.18 Mercury enters Libra (through 10.6)09.19 Venus enters Virgo (through 10.14)09.21 New Moon Solar Eclipse Partial - Virgo 28° opposition Saturn Rx in Pisces09.22 Monday Sun enters Libra

Eps 036: 5 weeks without instagram and how my life looks different, plus a rallying cry for our 3rd spaces
It’s been 5 weeks since I’ve been on IG, and here’s what I’ve learned:My brain craves stimulation and will reach for it every opportunity it gets. Not every thought that becomes conscious in my mind is mine to own (or share). Habits require conscious interruptions if they’re ever going to change. Third spaces are our keys to creating social resilience. We have to spend time with people that we didn’t choose to necessarily be with if we’re ever going to save society. In this episode I chat through all the ways I’m witnessing my brain change in real time as I spend more and more time away from this platform. And how in the “de-conditioning”, I’m discovering all the value I’ve been craving – via other outlets of connection, and self-expression.At the end of this episode I leave you with the question:What are you unconsciously choosing (that’s actually not in alignment for you) and that has you too scared to go against the grain?Mentioned:Leaving IG Substack pt. 1Leaving IG Substack pt. 2Constellations SeptemberConstellations August (free)My chat with Jess on her podcast about making choices aligned with your valuesConnect with me:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

Now that I'm officially off of IG for the foreseeable future, I'm bringing some of my personal like updates to the pod! After a month of hosting friends and family, throwing big gatherings at the house, and generally being way more social that usual, I'm digesting everything that's been shifting in my day to day life, my sense of identity, and my understanding of my roles in community online and IRL. I chat the energetic influence of Uranus in Gemini, the Saturn-Neptune conjunct in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius and how these major planetary placements are impacting me, my clients, and also you – and most importantly how we can work with them so they don't work us.Comment and let me know if you've also been feeling the big shifts in your own life, and be sure to check out Constellations for astro support through August and beyond.Mentioned:Uranus in Gemini substack articleUncategory by Xanthe Appleyard & Lois MacSocial Change Ecosystem MapConstellationsFreedom epsConnect with me on:ASTROLOGY READINGSLIFE COACHINGSUBSTACKPINTEREST THREADS WEBSITE

Ep 034: Giving Yourself Permission, Letting Yourself Be Seen, & Major Identity Shifts w. Kaitlyn Kessler
I have the pleasure of hosting the incredible Kaitlyn Kessler!Being in Kaitlyn’s orbit has been so inspiring simply because she exudes this level of alignment in all of her work and communication. It's alignment that’s not just beautiful, but it's also subtly ultra bold and very brave. We recorded this episode a few months ago before she made the massive move to Spain from Charlotte, SC. It’s so fun to listen back and hear her declarations of what she was anticipating her life to look like once she landed in Europe, and to now be witnessing all of that unfolding for her in real time. We talk a lot in this episode about the power of telling your own story, and we go back and forth between the benefits of being seen in public and also how scary it is to put yourself out there, and be seen. Lunar Series · August 2025: Aquarius Full Moon & Virgo New Moon
This month we're invited to explore the intersection of leadership, community, and responsibility. With Mercury still retrograde in Leo and Saturn in Aries influencing the Full Moon in Aquarius, the first half of the month invites you to examine your long-term plans, structural power dynamics, and your role as a leader, particularly within community contexts. This Full Moon wants to ask you: How do we balance personal authority with collective responsibility? The New Moon in Virgo continues this theme by offering a potent time to reflect on how you communicate, express your ideas, and lead with integrity.Virgo’s earthy practicality supports grounding these ideas into real, tangible practices — but with Uranus squaring the lunation, you’re also invited to be bold and visionary, shake up stale narratives, and ditch perfectionism in favor of purpose-driven presence.Key Dates:08.09 Full Moon in Aquarius08.23 New Moon in Virgo

Solar Series: Leo Season 2025
Welcome Leo Season!Officially beginning July 22nd, this month includes a Mercury RX, along with several planet ingresses (sign changes) – many of which activate the Saturn–Neptune conjunction in Aries. What does this all mean? We’re going be reviewing a lot of the ways in which we do things, the ways in which we show up and demonstrate leadership, how we express ourselves and find harmony in our relationships, and what we want to uphold in our ever evolving identities. And, if that doesn’t sound like enough fun, there’s also going to be even more erosion of systems and structures that used to make sense, but are in the process of being released for new things to be built.Mentioned:Astrology readings with meConstellations with Jess Ellen AstrologyKey dates:07.22 Sun enters Leo07.23 Sun sextiles Uranus07.24 New Moon - Leo 2° trine Saturn RX & Neptune RX and opposing Pluto07.31 Mercury RX conjunct the Sun in Leo & Venus enters Cancer (through aug 25)08.01 Venus squares Saturn RX & Neptune RX08.06 Mars enters Libra (through sept 22)08.08 Mars trine Uranus08.09 - 08.10 Full Moon - Aquarius 16° & Mars opposes Saturn RX & Neptune RX trine Pluto08.11 Mercury stations direct 4° Leo opposing Pluto and trine Saturn rx and Neptune rx08.12 Venus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer 14º08.14 & 8.18 Mercury sextile Mars08.22 Sun enters Virgo

In this midyear episode the lunations ask us to assess our long-term visions, and definitions of embodied leadership. The polarity of Cancer and Capricorn is highlighted during the Capricorn Full Moon, and we're invited to examine how practical ambition and inner nourishment must work together. It's also a great moment to reflect on what you’ve built so far this year, what you’re still devoted to, and how your body can serve as a compass for what truly matters. The Leo New Moon forms a tense opposition with Pluto in Aquarius, triggering deep questions about power, leadership, and identity. Ep 030: A Personal Identity Evolution – My Example of Growth as Cyclical
“Your growth isn’t linear” - is a phrase we’ve heard a million times, right? But what does it actually look like in a real experience? In this week’s episode I share a through line of cyclical growth via my own experience with yoga – of finding the practice, becoming a student, becoming a teacher, opening and running my own studio, closing that studio during the pandemic, up to today where I find myself having returned to being a student.I discuss what propelled each iteration, and also how even though it may look like I’ve lost what I grew, and maybe I’ve stepped backwards to where I’ve started, I’m still several layers progressed from where I began. This personal share is an invitation for you to get curious about your own spiral of growth, where you are on that path, where you’ve come from, and where you’re journeying towards.Mentioned in this episode:Identity Evolution workbookDefine your history to know where you’re going practice

You can ask yourself:What do I want to start again in terms of my emotional body? What parts of my inner home need refreshing or nurturing? What do I really want—what lights me up from the inside?I also go into reflection questions for each rising sign because this is SUCH a good New Moon, and I desperately want you to work with it. I created The Designed Life to help you ask the bigger questions, explore the unexamined nooks and crannies of your own habits, behaviors and choices, and inevitably start aligning your daily decisions to create a more empowered and fulfilling life. In every episode you'll find stories, resources, and contemplations, from me and other entrepreneurs, curated to help you gracefully navigate a life that comes with no guide book.
