Do What’s Best For You ft. Mikeya Janeé
When you enter any major digital platform, you’re met with constant suggestions — voices telling you what you should do, what you should’ve done, and how fast you need to move. It can make you feel left behind, confused, or pressured into a sense of urgency that isn’t even yours. And because it’s subtle, most of us give in to that influence every single day without realizing it — not just on these platforms, but in real life too.The truth is, curating the algorithm is one of the smartest things these platforms have ever done. But when it comes to your own life, you are the curator. You have to be sensitive, intentional, and grounded enough to choose what’s actually BEST for you.Keep Up With FeatureSubscribe to newsletter Subscribe to YouTube ChannelThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Presence Over Performance ft. Mikeya Janeé
This week, I showed up without the layers—no script, no polish, just a heart that needed somewhere to land. I talk about what it feels like to not want to “perform,” but to simply be here… fully, gently, honestly. To return to myself without rushing. To honor the heaviness without pretending it’s light. If you’ve ever felt stretched thin, silently carrying the weight of responsibility, or unsure how to show up when your heart feels heavy, this episode is for you. It’s honest. It’s unpolished. It’s me choosing presence over perfection. If you’ve ever needed a moment to pause, feel, or remember your own humanity, this one will meet you there. It’s gentle. It’s grounding. It’s a breath you didn’t know you were holding.Throne Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee App

Women Deserve Pleasure ft. Hara
What do you want, and what do you find pleasure in?” — that’s the question someone asked our multifaceted feature, Hara (Cherhara). The Creative Project Consultant, Registered Nurse, and Farmer’s Advocate was confronted with this question, and it led her to realize how little she had been pouring into herself after pouring so relentlessly into others. Now, she’s turning the question back to others—specifically women—hoping that in their response, they’ll recognize not only the lack of pleasure-filled activities in their own lives, but also the absence of a belief system that supports and gives them permission to embrace pleasure as a lifestyle.Keep Up With HaraHara.Jul (tiktok)Throne Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

3 Ways to Discover Your Niche
In today’s world of content creation, the word niche gets tossed around more than ever — and for good reason. Having a niche isn’t just about choosing a topic; it’s about conditioning and consistency. The algorithms respect it… and honestly, so do our human brains. We’re wired to crave familiarity — to trust what feels steady and true. That’s why reassurance is one of the key ingredients in building a real community. In this episode, we’re diving into three ways you can begin discovering your niche — not just as a strategy, but as an authentic reflection of who you are and what you’re here to offer.Keep Up With Mikeya JaneeNewsletter: www.mikeyajanee.com/subscribeThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Your Story is An Asset: Leave Your Legacy
I find much pleasure in asking my elder family members and loved ones “what did you do at this age?” And when I ask this, they began to share a chapter of their life’s story and it all began to make sense. “This is where I get it from” is what I say to myself and them as the revelation broadens the perspective of my own life. This is a topic the owner of Speak Now Dance Later and Perspective Respected elaborates on in today’s episode. Sev The Fairy, indeed a fairy she is, mommy of one shares how she is actively and intentionally documenting her story to leave it behind for her beautiful son through the art-skill of journaling. She believes that the DNA in our bloodlines are the greatest stories ever told. That. Each person should do their due diligence of sharing their experiences to set the next generation free. And I can’t wait for you all to hear more of her perspective on this. Save Something For You (Pt. 2) ft. Stanton
So nice, he had to say it twice. But this time, our returning feature delivered his message with even more depth and conviction: everybody cannot have what you have.Let me say it again—this author of From Shackles to Freedom, upcoming songwriter, youth minister, and 7th-grade exceptional children’s teacher is deeply passionate about a theme we’ve been unpacking over the past three episodes: boundaries. He reminds us that we must reserve something for ourselves, so that when we encounter those truly assigned to our life’s journey, we have what’s necessary to give. Lay Your Burdens Down ft. Mikeya Janee'
I often get compliments about the things I create and so diligently execute. It’s safe to say that many people admire my purposeful labor, but very few see the days where I lay it all down — again. There’s a constant opportunity to surrender when you’re a visionary. And I’m not referring to waving the white flag, but rather the opportunity to make it well with your soul, even when everything around you seems not to be.When I’m challenged, the heaviness of my insecurities, ego, doubts, and fears is what I have to lay down. Without demonizing these parts of me, I accept that they are part of my human experience — and I ask God to use them to stir me in the right direction. When these human elements are at work, I usually become either very stagnant or very anxious — not able to move, or moving too much without clarity. But laying it down brings me back to clarity. It centers my spirit and recalibrates every part of my soul. And I approach whatever tasks it takes to contribute to the vision bigger than me with peace and confidence. But just know — it’s because I laid it all down… again.Keep Up With MikeyaSubscribe to MUSE newsletterMikeya Janee’ AppThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Save Something For Yourself ft. Stanton
The church of my soul said amen when I heard the words “everybody cannot have everything you have.” Some of you may be saying that’s not rocket science Mikeya, and it’s not, but as an over-giver and overextender hearing those words from today’s feature, Stanton McCallum, allowed me to consider it from another perspective and with a sober mind. Stanton—author of From Shackles to Freedom, upcoming songwriter, youth minister, and 7th-grade exceptional children's teacher—is deeply passionate about a theme we’ve been unpacking for the past three episodes: boundaries. In today’s episode, not only does he discuss how much access an individual should get, but he also discusses how to save some of that time, that energy, that love for yourself instead of giving it all away. How Much Access Should People Get ft. Mikeya Janee'
What if I told you the reason you keep getting your heart broken by the same person, the reason people keep letting you down is not because they are terrible people (I mean some are), but because you’ve given them a level of responsibility (responsibilities) that they can’t handle. What responsibilities are you talking about Mikeya? I’m talking about the responsibility of access. For the longest time I thought that love meant giving people unlimited access to my life, sharing every part of my world, but It wasn’t until I got older (actually recently) that I realized that in order to have peaceful & purposeful relationships, that I must become aware of people’s roles and responsibilities in my life. So today I’m going to talk about 3 Ways you can identify who’s responsible to have certain levels of access to you, especially when there’s a huge transition happening in your life. Setting & Communicating Boundaries ft. Fanci MJ
What is grace in a culture that believes canceling people for their shortcomings is the best resolve? How many chances does someone really get before the connection is severed—sometimes indefinitely? I guess that depends on who you are, and who they are, as a human. HUMANS! That’s what social work director, esthetician, and social media personality, Fanci MJ says relationships ultimately boil down to: being human and knowing yourself as one. Your triggers, your traumas, your wiring… Only then can you set proper boundaries and preserve relationships, instead of ending them prematurely.Keep Up With Fanci MJInstagram: @fanci.mjFacebook: Fanci MJLinktree: Maci's link treeThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyListen on Mikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Ain't Got Time (Music Feature) ft. WRIT3RS BLOCK
I was sitting on the ground preparing for my music set when I heard the 6 word declaration, I ain’t Got Time for Bull**** from the ever so eclectic band Writ3r’s Block. It was then….I found myself less focused on the structure of my performance and just allowed myself to dance freely as I received the lyrics into my heart and psyche. Because who really has the time to feed energy into what was never meant to serve us anyway? Maybe YOU do, but I sure don’t…But IF you do find yourself giving these meaningless happenings too much of your time…. Then I suggest you open up your preferred music platform, or go on Youtube and put in the search engine, or tell ya girls Alexa or Siri to play “I Ain’t Got Time” by Writ3r’s Block. Allow Yourself to Grieve ft. Mikeya Janee'
For the past few months, I’ve had the honor of being a caretaker for my Uncle Derrick—a true father figure to me—as he bravely battled stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Yesterday, we laid him to rest. Needless to say, this has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life. Yet, if I had to do it all over again, I would, with the same family by my side. It was truly an honor to serve such an honorable man. I love you forever, Uncle Bobby. 🕊️💜 I’ll be honest—I’m so confused as to why so many people are being diagnosed with and battling cancer. If your loved one—or if you yourself—are in that fight, PLEASE KEEP FIGHTING. We have to get through this together. I’m praying and rooting for you and your loved ones every step of the way. And to those grieving the loss of someone who has already transitioned, please know you have my deepest condolences. 💐 Because of this, there will be no newsletter today. I simply wanted to share my heart with this community and thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support during this time. Trusting In Stillness ft. Daishanna
When discussing the pursuit of goals, being still is rarely—if ever—on the list of ways to obtain them. Most of us believe that in order to get what we want or envision, it requires 100% of our participation and exhausting 16 out of 24 hours in a day. But according to this week’s multi-talented feature, Daishanna, being still is actually where the magic happens. The well-versed creative leader and visionary shares her recent revelations about what it means to be still and how it has brought her greater clarity. She even recalls a childhood memory of her mom saying, “Be still, girl,” while she squirmed anxiously in the chair getting her hair done. Back then, those three words may have felt like suppression to young Daishanna, but as she grew older, those same three words are helping her to become grounded and grow in all of her endeavors Keep Up With DaishannaInstagram: @daishannakThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Don't Run; Fix It ft. Myke Soun
For some of us, I think what makes adulting feel so ghetto is the level of responsibility that gets delegated and transferred without discussion. And I’m not just talking about the to-do list—I mean the mental, emotional, and spiritual management required to execute without completely falling apart.Maybe that’s why, once upon a time, the trailblazing sound architect Myke Soun ran away from responsibility. In this Season 2 premiere episode, he shares his heart and his renewed perception of what it truly means to stop running and do the inner work. Needless to say, he’s greatly benefited from his decision to do so. Yet so many people don’t realize they have the same liberty to do the same. A Black Girl's Rant (Poem) ft. Saint Sin
Who wants to hear another Black girl rant about how she isn’t being loved properly or seen with dignity and respect? I guess the better question is: how many more Black women have yet to tell their truth—their story? I’m sure there are many. But one woman we can’t say that about is the poet, the writer, the entertainer herself—Saint Sin—who expresses the sentiments of a Black woman’s journey through love and pain so significantly. She often emphasizes the magnitude of a woman’s presence and how she should be tended to with care and intention. Honestly, this “women deserve all the love” campaign only makes sense, considering that she refers to herself as a garden… a creation that creates—as most of us are. Insinuating that women often reciprocate what’s planted into the soil of their lives. There’s no doubt in my mind that this is why she advocates for the melanated female group the way that she does. And I can’t wait for you all to hear the poem she’s created to tell the story.Keep Up With Saint SinInstagram: @theesaintsinFacebook: Saint SinThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Here We Go Again (Music Feature) ft. JB Samson
"I barely got time for the things I want. I barely got time for the things I need. I only got time for the things that I’m ‘sposed to." Those were the words that struck my heart when I first heard the underrated classic “Here We Go Again” by Carolina’s superstar, JB Samson. If you have a heart, I’m sure those lyrics will strike you too—because most of us live in a cycle of life we don’t enjoy or can’t seem to get a grip on. But all hope is not lost. What if the beauty is in the redundancy? In the fact that you know what’s going to happen next—and that very knowing reassures you to take the next step. Where you can make a clear decision and say, might as well do something worthwhile, like today’s feature. Flow In Your Truth ft. Dee (Mils)
The path you’re meant to walk—the destiny designed just for you—doesn’t automatically come with confidence. Sometimes, it feels unsure and provokes insecurity, hindering you from flowing in a way that will lead you to where you’re going. That might mean you need roller skates or a gentle approach to life, like our revolutionary feature, Deanna Knight—better known as Dee. The founder of Rolling Revolution and She Sparks Network, Dee believes that our spirits already know the truth, and that we must honor it by flowing freely in that truth and staying rooted in our why. Dee has been lighting up timelines with her eccentric, ever-so-edgy roller skate routines, and I can’t wait for you all to see why her light shines so brightly through everything she does.Keep Up With DeeInstagram: @itsmilsonwheelsYouTube: @itsmilyonLink to book for locsThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

4 Ways to Create Momentum ft. Mikeya Janee'
I had just begun a crazy momentum before I left for Dreamville in my own little world. I went to the festival in hopes that I would continue it by volunteering or working at an event that already had mass momentum, but honestly the momentum I was creating at home was just as special. Pt. 2 Done Chasing My Dreams (Dreamville Fest Revelation) ft. Mikeya Janee'
I wasn't supposed to be there. It was the last performance of the two-day Dreamville Festival, and I stood off in a corner amongst 52,000 other attendees with tears in my eyes watching two of my favorite artists: Erykah Badu and J. Cole. Sure, you could say these were tears of gratitude, but as my eyes began to flood, the only thing I could say to myself was, “This can’t be my life.” Yes, I was able to catch the once-in-a-lifetime moment of them performing “Too Deep for the Intro,” but what it took for me to get inside those walls was a persistence I’m not even sure was supposed to be activated. So how did you actually get in, Mikeya? That’s a damn good question. In this week's episode, you’ll find out exactly how it happened—and a few revelations that brought me a lot of peace. Done Chasing Dreams (My Dreamville Fest Revelation) ft. Mikeya Janee'
Recently, I decided to stop chasing my dreams. If you know me, then you know I’ve been chasing them for a very long time—but honestly, chasing just doesn’t feel right to me anymore. According to Google, the definition of chase is “to pursue in order to catch up or catch up with.” So now, as I approach 31, I’m asking myself: when do you stop running and realize your dreams are already happening—but through the way of personal development. ?In this week’s episode, I talk about my somewhat divine experience at the Dreamville Festival, how I almost made it backstage, and how the whole experience gave me the revelation that I no longer have to chase my dreams, but align with them. U Been Getting Too High (Music Feature): Hiii by Jabriel
Some experiences you have to take alone—some lows you have to feel by yourself—to truly discover the essence of who you are. There are people, places, and things that offer us moments of sensation, pleasure, and elevation, but rarely do we pay attention to who we were prior to these moments of ascension. Oftentimes, we lack self-awareness or haven’t allowed ourselves to be still enough to explore what has transpired in our lives and how it has transformed us. Who are we, what are we doing as we ascend to these levels? Are we still intact or falling apart and if things are falling apart are they the right things? What’s your escape that’s not completely harmless, but has been distracting you from the truth about you? What I’m trying to say is, in the words of our feature for today, maybe… you’ve been getting too hi. And if so, I hope this week’s featured song, “Hiii” by Jabriel resonates with your soul as you explore the idea that it’s okay to take some trips alone to locate exactly who you are in this moment in time where you are.Keep Up With Jabriel’Instagram: @pharaohjabrielThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Manifest the Gift Within You ft. Terica Chanale
I heard a saying that said, People may forget what you’ve done for them, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel. This saying has proven to be 100% true. Protect What You Produce ft. Shawana Speaks
In this world, who really needs another obstacle, trial, or test of life? Honestly, maybe you and I both do from time to time. Not just for the sake of what my mom calls needless suffering, but for the sake of discovering what we’re truly made of; who we were called to be. That’s exactly what motivational speaker, event host, facilitator, vibe curator, and my friend Shawana Speaks discuss in today’s episode. She reveals God’s intentions for us in challenging times, while heavily emphasizing the importance of protecting what He produces within us in those times. And I can’t wait for you all to hear why this beautiful vessel is one of the greatest speakers of all time.Social tagsFeatureFacebook: Shawna Jenese Miller Instagram: Shawana SpeaksPodcast: Shawana SpeaksThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyListen on Mikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Where's Your Confidence? (Imposter Syndrome) ft. Cameo Bobo
"When the time is right." That was my go-to response whenever opportunities arose to unlock new versions of myself. In reality, I was masking procrastination with “patience and wisdom” because, deep down, I felt inferior and incapable. But thank God for friends like Cameo Bobo, who continuously remind you of who you are. From my perspective, imposter syndrome doesn’t exist in her world—she’s too busy being Nashville’s #1 late-night TV show host, empowering the women in her Best Life Babes community, and blessing social media timelines with her vibrant personality and you better boss up music. In today’s episode, she opens up about experiencing the illusion of insignificance—but in true Cameo fashion she passionately concluded this week’s episode with the secret to how she overcame it. And I can't wait for you all to listen.Follow Cameowww.cameobobo.comFacebook, YouTube, Instagram: princess_cameoTikTok: Cameo BoboFollow The SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety

Time Is Precious ft. Jordan. B
There’s so many things in our everyday lives that indicate & exemplify progression. Progressing in the truthful direction, I hope, but I think either end of the spectrum can testify that time is precious. This is a topic comedic storyteller and beat producer Jordan B is passionate about. In this week's episode, he expresses the realization of being amongst the "new adults" and how sleep schedules can get weird sometimes. Without making any excuses for what has happened to him in the past or how life be life'n, he's taking the time to share the transformative power of daily decisions and organization. And I can't wait for you all to listen.Follow Jordan:Instagram:@jordanbmusikFollow the SocietyFacebook:@thronetalksocietyInstagram:@thronetalksocietyDownload App:Mikeya Janee AppSubmit audio to podcast

Perception of Life ft. Naafie
Self-deception has a sneaky way of evolving over time. It disguises itself as true identity, while the core of who we are gets neglected with each traumatic or escapist experience. Yet, not everyone is living a lie. Some of us live fulfilling lives of truth, while others accept life for what it is. The difference between the two? Perception! Perhaps that’s why it’s always "POE THE GANG" frequency when I cross paths with the hip-hop contributor/musician, skilled astrologer, poet, and writer himself, Naafie. Not only is he gifted—an entrepreneur and innovator—but he is also dedicated to helping individuals understand that how you see your life is how you treat your life. And I'm honored to have him on this week's podcast episode. Evolving As a Black Male ft. Eezy Olah
As a woman who is very intuitive, it’s easy to assume I fully understand the journey or processes of a man—specifically, a Black man. More times than not, I’ve misunderstood the nuances that come with their experience. My friend Eezy Olah—MC, musician, producer, engineer, and philanthropist in his own damn right—has expressed his evolvement as a Black male time and time again, always echoing the importance of making better choices as the leaders of our culture. But even with me engaging in millions of conversations with him about this topic and other melanated men, one truth remains: only they can truly speak for their experience. Black Woman, Reaffirm Yourself ft. Queen Ameenah
On the night of November 5th, it all happened so quickly. I wasn't terrified like before, but this time, I was baffled by the audacity of misogyny and the irritating disrespect still being prioritized in America in the year of two thousand and twenty-five. Yet, amidst all the emotions, there she was—my sister, Queen Ameenah, aka Cupcake—ready to listen and articulate the positions we should assume as Black women. No rookie to the game of community activism and leadership, the transformative speaker planted her feet in her stance and passionately echoed that in this season, under this new but familiar administration, women, specifically Black women, need to reaffirm themselves. And I'm so glad to share this audio with you today.
