When “Just Pray About It” Isn’t Enough: Christian Moms & Mental Health | S2:Ep33
Prayer matters. God’s Word matters. Faith matters. But sometimes the woman who’s struggling also needs someone to recognize that something isn’t okay—and help her get appropriate care. In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, we’re having an important conversation about Christianity and mental health—and the tension between two extremes. On one side, our culture can be quick to diagnose and medicate every difficult emotion. On the other, Christians can sometimes respond to genuine mental-health struggles with little more than, “Just pray about it.” I don’t believe either extreme gives us the whole picture. We’re talking about what it looks like to approach mental health with biblical wisdom, prayer, discernment, compassion, and appropriate medical care when it’s needed. We’ll talk about: Why prayer and seeking help aren’t opposites The difference between difficult emotions and genuine mental-health disorders When medication can have an appropriate role—and why wisdom still matters Why postpartum mental health deserves particular attention Why serious postpartum psychiatric symptoms should never be dismissed as simply exhaustion or the “baby blues” How the Church can better support women who are struggling Why “I’ll pray for you” should sometimes be the beginning of helping—not the end This episode isn’t about replacing prayer with medicine. And it isn’t about replacing biblical truth with a diagnosis. It’s about refusing to make women choose between faith and appropriate care. Maybe you’re the woman who needs permission to finally say: “I’m not okay. I need help.” Or maybe there’s a woman in your life who needs you to look beyond “I’m fine” and ask one more question. Either way, I hope you’ll listen—and then share this episode with another Christian woman. Husband Hot Seat: Marriage, Leadership & Family | S2 Ep32
I put my husband in the hot seat… and you all picked the questions. 😅🔥 I asked the women in our Christ Over Culture Moms community what they REALLY wanted to ask a Christian husband—and they did not hold back. Does it bother him to come home to a messy house? Should a husband recognize when his wife is drowning without her having to ask for help? What does biblical headship actually look like—and when does leadership cross the line into control? How can a wife lighten her husband’s load? And what happens to a man’s role as provider and leader when life gets hard? Matt had no idea where this conversation was going, and I think you’re going to want to hear his answers. 👀 This one is honest, practical, a little uncomfortable at times, and definitely one you’ll want to send to your husband. 🎙️ Husband Hot Seat is officially open. And after you listen, I want to know: What question should I put him on the spot with next time? 😏🔥

The Biggest Lie the Diet Industry Sells Women | S2:Ep31
The world tells women: “If you can just change your body, you’ll finally change your life.” Lose the weight. Fit into the jeans. Find the perfect diet. Start over on Monday. But what if that’s the biggest lie the diet industry has been selling us all along? In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, we’re reframing health through a biblical lens. Instead of chasing quick fixes, perfection, or another number on the scale, what if we pursued our health the same way God grows us spiritually—through faithful stewardship and daily obedience? If you’ve ever felt trapped in the cycle of dieting, guilt, and starting over, this episode is for you. ✨ In this episode: The biggest lie the diet industry sells women Why your worth is never found in your weight How health is more like sanctification than a 30-day challenge Why “starting over” may be keeping you stuck How to pursue health as an act of stewardship instead of self-worth This isn’t another diet plan. It’s an invitation to think differently about your body, your health, and the God who entrusted both to you. 🌿 Ready to take your next faithful step? In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, we’re talking about why so many Christian moms feel alone, what Scripture says about biblical community, and why God never intended us to walk through motherhood in isolation. ✨ In this episode: Why loneliness isn’t the same as being alone The lie the enemy wants Christian moms to believe God’s design for biblical community through the local church The beauty of the Titus 2 model Practical ways to begin building meaningful Christian friendships Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling mom, working mom, or somewhere in between, my prayer is that this episode reminds you of one simple truth: You are not the only one. 🌿 Free Resources & Encouragement Visit Healthy Holy Momlife for free Bible studies, my Table & Truth Family Bible Reading Plan, healthy recipes, workouts, podcast episodes, and encouragement for Christian moms. 👉 Healthy Holy Momlife 💜 Looking for community? Can Christians Be Patriotic? | A Biblical Perspective | S2:Ep29
As America celebrates its 250th birthday, many Christians are asking an important question: Can Christians be patriotic? Is it biblical to love your country? Where is the line between gratitude and idolatry? Can we celebrate Independence Day while remembering that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven? In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, we’re taking a biblical look at patriotism, earthly citizenship, and why our hope must never rest in a nation—but in Christ alone. This isn’t a political conversation. It’s a biblical one. ✨ In this episode: Is it wrong for Christians to love their country? What does the Bible say about earthly citizenship? When does patriotism become idolatry? What does it look like to be a faithful Christian citizen? Why our ultimate hope has never been in America As we celebrate our nation’s history, let’s remember that while America is a tremendous blessing, it is not our Savior. Modesty Without Shame: A Biblical Conversation for Christian Women | S2:Ep28
What does biblical modesty actually look like? Is it about hemlines and dress codes, or is it something much deeper? In this special interview episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, I’m joined by my friend Malinda Pagel for an honest conversation about modesty, conviction, legalism, and honoring Christ in a culture that constantly tells women their value is found in their appearance. Malinda is an Army veteran, high-risk OB nurse, homeschooling mom of four, and has been married to her husband, Chad, for twelve years. She became a believer at age twenty and first became convicted about modesty a few years into her marriage. Together, we discuss: • What Christian women often misunderstand about modesty • How Malinda’s convictions developed over time • The difference between biblical modesty and legalism • Practical questions to ask when choosing what to wear • How to teach modesty to our daughters with both truth and grace This conversation isn’t about shame or creating another list of rules. It’s about pursuing a heart that desires to honor Christ in every area of life. 📚 Free Resource: Table & Truth Family Bible Reading Plan Download it free at: www.HealthyHolyMomlife.com 🎧 Listen to more episodes of the Truth Over Trends Podcast: Healthy Holy Momlife If this conversation encouraged you, share it with another Christian woman who is seeking to honor the Lord in both heart and life. #TruthOverTrends #BiblicalModesty #ChristianWoman #ChristianPodcast #ChristianMotherhood #FaithOverCulture #BiblicalWomanhood #WomenOfTheWord

Public School, Private School, or Homeschool? Let’s Talk Honestly | S2:Ep27
Public school. Private school. Homeschool. Few topics create more debate among Christian parents than education. As a homeschool mom, speaker, and curriculum creator, you might assume I believe homeschooling is the only right answer. But after attending public school myself, having a husband who attended public school, raising children in public school, graduating one child from public school, and homeschooling for many years, I’ve learned something important: There is no perfect educational option. Every schooling choice comes with strengths. Every schooling choice comes with challenges. And every family has different circumstances, resources, and needs. In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, we’re taking an honest look at public school, private school, and homeschooling—and discussing why the bigger question isn’t where your children go to school, but who is discipling them. ✨ In this episode: • Why there is no perfect schooling option • The strengths and challenges of public school • The strengths and challenges of private school • The strengths and challenges of homeschooling • Why discipleship matters more than school choice • How Christian parents can make decisions with wisdom and humility 📖 Featured Scriptures: • Proverbs 3:5–6 • Matthew 5:16 • Deuteronomy 6:6–7 • Psalm 127:1 • Ephesians 6:4 • Colossians 3:23–24 📚 Free Resource: Table & Truth Family Bible Reading Plan A simple, family-friendly Bible reading plan designed to help you spend time in God’s Word together without overcomplicating it. 👉 Download it free at: www.HealthyHolyMomlife.com 🎧 Missed last week’s episode? Homeschooling Won’t Save Your Children | S2:Ep26
As a homeschool mom, speaker, and curriculum creator, this may be one of the most important things I’ve ever said: Homeschooling won’t save your children. Now before you panic, hear me out. I believe school choice matters. I believe parents should be intentional. I believe discipleship matters. But after years of parenting, homeschooling, and watching families walk different paths, I’ve come to realize something important: No curriculum, co-op, private school, public school, or homeschool schedule can do what only God can do. In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, we’re having an honest conversation about school choice, discipleship, parenting, and the danger of placing our hope in a method instead of Christ. ✨ In this episode: • Why school choice matters • Why homeschooling is a tool—not a savior • The difference between faithfulness and guaranteed results • Why Christian parents often carry burdens God never intended • Where our ultimate hope should be placed 📖 Featured Scriptures: • Deuteronomy 6:6–7 • John 3:5–6 • Ezekiel 18:20 • Psalm 20:7 • Jonah 2:9 • 1 Corinthians 3:6–7 📚 Free Resource: Table & Truth Family Bible Reading Plan A simple, family-friendly Bible reading plan designed to help you gather around God’s Word consistently without overcomplicating it. 👉 Available free at: www.healthyholymomlife.com 🎧 Next Week: We’ll continue this conversation with an honest look at public school, private school, and homeschooling—the strengths, challenges, and realities of each option and why there may not be a one-size-fits-all answer for every Christian family. 🎧 More episodes: 👉 Truth Over Trends Podcast If this episode encouraged you, share it with another parent who may need the reminder that while methods matter, Jesus is the Savior. #TruthOverTrends #HomeschoolMom #ChristianParenting #Homeschooling #BiblicalMotherhood #ChristianPodcast #FaithOverFear #Discipleship #HomeschoolLife #Christianmom

Love, Truth, and Pride Month: How Should Christians Respond? | S2:Ep25
June is Pride Month, and for many Christians, it raises an important question: How should we respond? In a culture that increasingly equates love with affirmation, many believers feel caught between speaking the truth and showing compassion. But Scripture never asks us to choose between the two. In this episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, Ingrid takes a biblical look at Pride Month, homosexuality, truth, love, and what it means to be salt and light in a culture that is moving further and further away from God’s design. This is not a political conversation. It’s a biblical one. ✨ In this episode: • What Scripture says about sexual sin • Why love and affirmation are not the same thing • What it means to be salt and light • Why pride is a problem for all of humanity • How Christians can respond with both truth and grace • Why the Gospel remains the answer 📖 Featured Scriptures: • 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 • 1 Corinthians 13:6 • Matthew 5:13–16 • James 4:6 • Romans 5:8 • Ephesians 4:15 📚 Check out my book: Truth Over Trends: God’s Way to Health — 21 Days to Build Simple, Biblical Health Habits That Actually Work in Real Life Available now on Amazon. https://amzn.to/4e4gRwP 👉 Learn more at: Healthy Holy Momlife 🎧 Listen to more episodes: 👉 Truth Over Trends Podcast If this episode encouraged you, challenged you, or helped you think through this topic more biblically, share it with another Christian mom. #TruthOverTrends #ChristianPodcast #PrideMonth #BiblicalTruth #ChristianMotherhood #FaithOverCulture #ChristianLiving #SaltAndLight #BiblicalWomanhood #Christianmom

Birth Control, Family Planning, and Where We Personally Landed | S2:Ep24
Birth control and family planning are topics that many Christian couples wrestle with, but they’re not always discussed openly—or thoughtfully. As a mom of ten, this is a question I get asked often, so in today’s episode, I’m sharing where my husband and I personally landed on birth control and family planning, how our convictions developed over time, and why we believe Christians should think through these decisions prayerfully and biblically rather than simply accepting whatever culture says is normal. This is not a debate episode, and it’s not about creating rules for every Christian family. It’s simply an honest conversation about our journey, our convictions, and the importance of approaching these decisions with wisdom, discernment, and a biblical view of life. ✨ In this episode: • How our thinking changed as we matured spiritually • Why our view of life beginning at conception shaped our convictions • Why we do not believe all family planning is automatically wrong • The importance of understanding how different methods work • Why the heart behind the decision matters 📖 Featured Scriptures: • Romans 12:2 • Psalm 139:13–14 • James 1:5 • Psalm 127:3 • Colossians 3:17 📚 Check out my book: Truth Over Trends: God’s Way to Health — 21 Days to Build Simple, Biblical Health Habits That Actually Work in Real Life Available now on Amazon. https://amzn.to/4dDar8U 👉 Learn more at: Healthy Holy Momlife 🎧 More Truth Over Trends Podcast episodes: 👉 Truth Over Trends Podcast If this episode encouraged you, share it with another Christian mom who may be wrestling with these same questions. #TruthOverTrends #ChristianMotherhood #BiblicalWomanhood #ChristianPodcast #FamilyPlanning #BirthControl #ChristianMom #BiblicalTruth #FaithOverCulture #ProLife

Manifestation, Affirmations, and “Speaking Things Into Existence” | S2:Ep23
Manifestation is everywhere right now. From self-help culture and social media trends to affirmation language and “speaking things into existence,” the message is constant: you have the power to create your own reality. But is that actually biblical? In today’s episode of the Truth Over Trends Podcast, Ingrid takes a biblical look at manifestation culture, affirmations, positive thinking, and the subtle shift from dependence on God to dependence on self. This conversation is not about fear or negativity—it’s about discernment and understanding the difference between biblical faith and self-focused spirituality. ✨ In this episode: • Why manifestation culture is spreading so quickly • The difference between biblical faith and self-trust • How affirmations can quietly become self-focused • Why Christians are called to surrender, not control • What Scripture actually says about trusting God 📖 Featured Scriptures: • Colossians 2:8 • Proverbs 3:5–6 • Jeremiah 17:5 • Isaiah 55:8–9 • Matthew 6:33 📚 Check out Ingrid’s book: Truth Over Trends: God’s Way to Health—21 Days to Build Simple, Biblical Health Habits That Actually Work in Real Life 👉 Healthy Holy Momlife 💜 Join the Health God’s Way Challenge for simple, faith-centered habits that work in real life 👉 Health God’s Way Challenge https://www.healthyholymomlife.com/health-god-s-way-a-5-day-challenge-for-real-life-moms 🎧 More Truth Over Trends Podcast episodes: 👉 Truth Over Trends Podcast #TruthOverTrends #ChristianPodcast #BiblicalTruth #FaithOverCulture #ChristianMom #Discernment #ChristianLiving #Manifestation #BiblicalWomanhood #FaithOverFeelings

Is Yoga Actually Harmless? A Biblical Look at What You’re Practicing | S2:Ep21
Yoga is everywhere. It’s in workout apps, studios, and even spaces labeled “Christian.” It’s often presented as simple stretching, relaxation, or a way to slow down in a busy life. But is it actually harmless? In this episode, Ingrid takes a clear and biblical look at what yoga really is, where it comes from, and why that matters for Christian women who want to live with discernment. This is not a conversation about avoiding movement or taking care of your body—it’s about understanding what you’re participating in and aligning your choices with truth. In this episode, we cover: • Why yoga is not just stretching • The spiritual origins behind the practice • Why intention doesn’t redefine meaning • What it means to be discerning and set apart • How to approach movement in a way that aligns with your faith This episode isn’t about fear or legalism—it’s about clarity, wisdom, and making intentional decisions rooted in Scripture. ✨ Ready to build simple, faith-centered habits that actually work in real life? What the World Gets Wrong About Aging | S2:Ep19
Aging isn’t the problem—but the way we think about it might be. In today’s culture, aging is treated like something to fix, prevent, or reverse. From subtle pressures to “get your body back” after having children to more visible trends like mommy makeovers, the message is clear: your value is tied to how you look. But is that actually true? In this episode, Ingrid walks through what the world gets wrong about aging and contrasts it with a biblical perspective rooted in identity, stewardship, and truth. This is not about judging decisions—it’s about examining the heart behind them and asking a deeper question: what are we believing about ourselves? In this episode, we cover: • The fear of aging and trusting God’s design • How culture shifts our identity toward appearance • What we’re modeling for our children • The difference between stewardship and obsession • How to approach your body with peace instead of pressure This is a conversation about more than appearance—it’s about where your identity is rooted and how that shapes the way you live. 📖 Related Resource: Truth Over Trends: God’s Way to Health—21 Days to Build Simple, Biblical Health Habits That Actually Work in Real Life https://amzn.to/48gCwjd 👉 https://www.healthyholymomlife.com If this episode encouraged you, share it with another mom who needs this reminder—and take a moment to reflect on what’s shaping your perspective more: culture or truth.

In this episode, Ingrid shares a real and honest look at how her parenting has shifted over time—from cultural norms and behavior-based expectations to intentional, biblical discipleship inside the home. As a mom in a blended family who came to faith later in life, this conversation unpacks the reality of raising children in different seasons, unlearning what once felt “normal,” and choosing faithfulness over fairness. Breaking Up with Pinterest Christianity | 5 Lies Christian Women Believe | S2:Ep.16
What if the version of Christianity you’ve been living… isn’t actually rooted in truth? In this episode, we’re talking about what I’m calling Pinterest Christianity—a version of faith that looks good on the outside, feels encouraging, and fits neatly into everyday life… but often lacks depth, conviction, and transformation. Not because we’re trying to live that way— but because it’s subtle. It’s normalized. And it’s everywhere. These are the quiet lies that shape how we think, how we live, and how we justify things we don’t even question anymore. In this episode, we walk through five of those lies: • “God just wants me to be happy” • “I can live like the world as long as I love Jesus” • “I’ll start when things slow down” • “I’m doing better than I used to, so I’m good” • “This sin isn’t that bad—it’s not a big deal” This isn’t about condemnation. It’s about clarity. Because following Christ was never meant to be about what’s comfortable— it’s about what’s true. And sanctification doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the daily, ongoing process of aligning your life with God’s Word—one decision at a time. 🔗 Resources: Healthy Holy Momlife 👉 https://www.healthyholymomlife.com If this episode challenged or encouraged you, share it with another woman who’s ready to stop following trends and start walking in truth.

Truth Over Trends: Why Holiness Matters More Than Happiness | S2:Ep.15
This episode marks a shift. We’re stepping into Truth Over Trends—a deeper, more honest conversation about what it means to live as a Christian woman in a culture that constantly pulls us in the opposite direction. Because the goal isn’t happiness. The goal is holiness. And those two things are not the same. In this episode, we talk about the quiet ways culture creeps into our homes, our habits, our standards—and how easy it is to start justifying what God has clearly called us away from. This isn’t about perfection. This is about sanctification. It doesn’t happen overnight. It’s not a one-time decision. It’s the daily process of choosing obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable. We cover: • Why “do what makes you happy” is a dangerous mindset • The difference between happiness and true joy in the Lord • Cultural pressures around appearance, comfort, and compromise • What it looks like to pursue holiness in real, everyday life • Why sanctification is often slow, refining, and uncomfortable—but necessary This episode will challenge you—but it will also ground you. If you’re a mom, you probably know this moment well. Why Do We Know the Truth But Still Struggle? | S2:E12
If we know what Scripture says… If we know what wisdom looks like… If we know the healthy choice… Why is it still so hard to live it out? In this episode, Ingrid explores the tension many Christian women feel between knowing truth and consistently applying it — in health, motherhood, faith, and everyday discipline. Scripture shows us this struggle is not new. Even the apostle Paul described the battle between desire and follow-through. But God also shows us how real transformation happens: not through perfection, but through renewed minds and small, faithful obedience over time. In this episode, we talk about: • Why knowledge alone doesn’t produce change • The honest struggle described in Romans 7 • How transformation happens (Romans 12:2) • Why growth feels slow in busy seasons • Encouragement for moms who feel like they’re falling short If you’ve ever felt frustrated that you “know better” but still struggle — this episode will encourage you. 🔗 Resources & Support Healthy Holy Momlife 👉 https://www.healthyholymomlife.com

So why is it still so hard to stay steady? In this episode, Ingrid speaks to the mom who isn’t confused about health — she’s depleted. The one who can do it 75% of the time… but on the other 25% days, everything feels like it’s collapsing. We talk about: • Why this isn’t a knowledge problem • How depletion distorts your thinking • What Scripture shows us about weariness (1 Kings 19, Galatians 6:9) • The difference between overhaul and refueling • Three simple anchors for chaotic days: – Fuel before you fix – Anchor before you analyze – Steady before you strategize This is not about restriction. It’s not about tightening the plan. It’s about wisdom, stewardship, and grace-based steadiness in motherhood. If you’ve ever felt like one hard day means you’re failing at everything — this episode is for you. 🔗 Resources & Support: www.HealthyHolyMomlife.com 📩 Connect directly: [email protected] If this episode encouraged you, share it with a mom who feels exhausted but still wants to be faithful.

What’s Your Giant? Fear, Diet Culture, or Self-Doubt in Your Health — S2:E10
In 1 Samuel 17, the giant wasn’t the only problem — fear was. For forty days, Israel stood frozen. The giant spoke, and they listened. But David saw the same giant and responded with covenant confidence in the Lord. In this episode, we take a biblically grounded look at what your “giant” might be in your health journey. Often it’s not your body — it’s fear. It’s shame. It’s self-doubt. It’s confusion shaped by diet culture. We’ll unpack: • Why fear keeps you stuck in planning but not obedience • What made David different • How covenant confidence changes the way you approach habits • What steady obedience actually looks like in Christian health This isn’t a motivational “slay your giant” talk. It’s a sober reminder that your confidence cannot rest in yourself — it must rest in the Lord. If you’re tired of being frozen by fear in your health, this episode will help you think rightly and move faithfully. 🌿 Find resources, free tools, and membership support at: HealthyHolyMomlife.com 📩 Connect with me directly: [email protected] If this episode encouraged you, share it with a friend or tag me in your stories and tell me what “giant” you’ve been facing.

5 Ways to Walk in Biblical Obedience in Your Health — Starting Today | Season 2, Episode 9
What does it actually look like to glorify God in your body? In this episode, Ingrid breaks down five clear, biblical ways to walk in obedience in your health — not through vanity, extremes, or diet culture — but through stewardship, self-control, and surrender. If you’ve ever felt torn between “grace” and “discipline,” this episode draws a clear line: grace removes condemnation, but it does not remove responsibility. In this episode, we cover: • Why spiritual nourishment comes before physical discipline • How to glorify God in what you eat and drink (1 Corinthians 10:31) • Movement as stewardship — not punishment or vanity • Rest as surrender and trust (Psalm 127:2) • Self-control, repentance, and rejecting the “I blew it, so I quit” mindset Walking in biblical obedience in your health is not about staring at the mirror. Letting Go of the Rules God Never Gave You — S2:Ep7
Many Christian moms are exhausted—not because they don’t care about their health, but because they’ve been living under rules God never gave them. Rules that say: • count and burn every calorie • eliminate entire food groups • chase skinny instead of strength • control your body to be “disciplined” • measure worth by numbers and appearance In this episode, Ingrid names the truth most women feel but rarely articulate: diet culture has discipled Christian women away from peace, freedom, and trust in God. Health was never meant to be separate from your walk with the Lord. And when it is, it becomes hard, defeating, and obsessive. This episode will help you: • recognize the rules shaping your health that didn’t come from Scripture • understand why letting go of control feels scary • see the difference between diet culture and biblical stewardship • release guilt, fear, and obsession around food and your body • begin surrendering your health to God as a way of life, not a diet This is not about giving up on your health. It’s about giving it back to God. You are allowed to let go of the rules the world gave you. You are allowed to stop chasing control. And you are allowed to walk in peace and freedom instead. 🔗 Next Step: Start Fresh on a Biblical Foundation If you’re ready to move forward—not with another diet, but with truth—I created a simple starting point just for you: 💪 A Mom’s Guide to God-Honoring Health Healthy Holy Momlife Starter Course — only $4.99 This course will help you: • step out of diet culture • view your body through Scripture, not shame • build faith-led health habits without extremes or guilt 👉 Get started at www.healthyholymomlife.com You don’t need to control your body to be faithful. 5 Health Rules Christian Moms Need to Stop Following in 2026 — S2:Ep6
Christian moms are exhausted—not because they don’t care about their health, but because they’ve been following rules God never gave them. Rules that say: • health can be bought • discipline must be extreme • skinny equals healthy • your body should look the same after babies • and you need perfect conditions to begin In this episode, Ingrid walks through five common health rules Christian moms need to stop following in 2026, not from diet culture—but from a biblical lens rooted in stewardship, wisdom, and faithfulness. This is not a conversation about giving up on health. It’s about rejecting pressure, vanity, and quick fixes—and learning how to care for your body in a way that actually honors God and lasts through real motherhood. In this episode, you’ll learn: • why health cannot be purchased or outsourced • how extreme restriction undermines biblical self-control • why appearance is a poor measure of stewardship • how to release shame around post-baby bodies • and why you don’t need perfect conditions to begin caring for yourself This episode is honest, convicting, and deeply freeing—especially for the mom who feels stuck in cycles of guilt, burnout, and starting over. Faithful, Not Fixed: How Christian Moms Can Walk Into a New Year — S2:Ep5
As a new year approaches, many Christian moms feel an unspoken pressure to fix themselves. Fix their routines. Fix their health. Fix their homes. Fix everything that feels messy, unfinished, or behind. But Scripture never calls us to frantic reinvention. In this episode, Ingrid gently dismantles the cultural expectation that growth requires a perfect plan, a dramatic vision, or a complete overhaul of your life. Instead, she invites you into a far more biblical posture—one rooted in wisdom, discernment, peace, and daily dependence on the Lord. This episode is for the mom who: • feels overwhelmed by planning and goal setting • is tired of chasing “fresh starts” that don’t last • wants to honor God with her health without pressure or extremes • longs for peace instead of striving as she looks ahead You’ll learn: • why the urge to “fix everything” isn’t biblical • how God actually leads His people into new seasons • what it means to plan with God instead of pressure • how health goals can become stewardship, not self-improvement • how to turn God-led direction into wise, doable action steps • where simple frameworks (like SMART goals) can serve obedience—not control This conversation is not about January hype or perfect outcomes. It’s about walking forward anchored in Christ—faithful, not fixed. You don’t need to design a perfect year. You don’t need to reinvent yourself. You need to come to the Lord for wisdom, direction, discernment, and peace—and take the next faithful step. ⸻ 🔗 Resources Mentioned ✨ Free Christ-Centered Resources Biblical tools for real-life motherhood 👉 https://healthyholymomlife.com/free-tools 📖 Faith Over Fads Devotional A Scripture-anchored guide to health without diet culture or pressure Available on Amazon 🌿 Healthy Holy Momlife All Access Membership Ongoing biblical guidance, workouts, courses, and support for every season 👉 https://healthyholymomlife.com/membership

God Never Asked You for a New Year’s Resolution — S2:Ep4
January brings pressure—new rules, new goals, a “new you.” But Scripture never asked for that. In this episode, Ingrid gently but clearly dismantles the idea that lasting change comes from January overhauls and all-or-nothing resolutions. Instead, she offers a biblical reframe: health that honors God is built through faithful stewardship, not calendar-driven pressure. This conversation is for the Christian mom who: • feels worn down by New Year’s expectations • keeps starting strong and burning out • is tired of chasing a number, a size, or the world’s definition of “healthy” • wants change that actually lasts—and aligns with her faith You’ll hear why resolutions are often unrealistic and unsustainable, how all-or-nothing thinking sets women up for guilt, and what it looks like to care for your body the way God designed—steadily, graciously, and over time. You’ll also be reminded that: • obedience doesn’t start on January 1st • God’s mercies are already new every morning • and faithful progress matters more than dramatic fresh starts This episode will leave you grounded, relieved, and confident that you don’t need a new year—or a new version of yourself—to honor God with your health. 🔗 Helpful Resources ✨ Free Faith & Health Tools Simple, biblical resources for real-life motherhood 👉 https://healthyholymomlife.com/free-tools ✨ Healthy Holy Momlife All Access Membership Christ-centered support, courses, workouts, and weekly rhythms 👉 https://healthyholymomlife.com/membership ✨ Faith-Based Workouts on YouTube Gentle, Scripture-rooted movement you can do at home 👉 https://youtube.com/@healthyholymomlife

I’m So Tired of Starting Over (A Christian Mom’s Health Wake-Up Call) — S2:Ep3
“I’m tired of starting over.” If you’ve said that after another hard day — another plan that didn’t stick, another promise to “do better tomorrow,” another wave of guilt — this episode is for you. So many Christian moms are stuck in a cycle of stopping and starting programs, buying the next product, chasing what the world says health should look like, and believing one bad day means everything is ruined. The guilt piles up, motivation fades, and the only option that seems left is to reset… again. But what if the problem isn’t your discipline? What if the problem is the belief that health is a reset button instead of a walk? In this episode, Ingrid speaks directly to the exhausted mom who is done striving and just wants something sustainable. Through personal experience and biblical truth, she reframes health as faithful stewardship — not a finish line. You’ll learn: Why constantly “starting over” keeps you stuck Why burnout is often a worldview issue, not a willpower problem How health mirrors sanctification — daily, imperfect, ongoing What to do after a bad day without spiraling or quitting Why you don’t need to buy another product to move forward How to make the next right choice and keep walking in grace You are the daughter of a King. He knows your heart. He is with you. And your worth was never measured by a number, a body size, or a before-and-after photo. You Don’t Need a Quiet Time (And Other Lies Christian Moms Believe) — S2:Ep2
If you’ve ever felt guilty because your Bible time wasn’t quiet, uninterrupted, or “done right,” this episode is for you. Somewhere along the way, Christian moms were taught to believe a lie: that time with God has to look calm, clean, aesthetic, and perfectly planned to count. But real mom life is loud. It’s interrupted. It’s messy. And waiting for perfect conditions often means Scripture stays closed and prayer feels out of reach. In this episode, Ingrid boldly dismantles the myth of the “perfect quiet time” and replaces it with biblical truth that brings freedom: God is not looking for perfection — He is looking for faithfulness. You’ll hear why waiting for ideal conditions keeps you stuck, how to open your Bible in the middle of real life (kids, noise, interruptions and all), and why five minutes with God is better than zero. You’ll also be encouraged to let your children see you pray and read Scripture — because discipleship doesn’t happen in hidden, curated moments, but in ordinary obedience. This episode is convicting without condemnation, practical without pressure, and deeply rooted in Scripture. You’ll walk away relieved, encouraged, and reminded that God meets you exactly where you are — not where you think you should be. 🔗 Helpful Links 👉 Free Bible & Faith Resources Simple tools to help you stay rooted in God’s Word in real life https://www.healthyholymomlife.com/freetools 👉 Healthy Holy Momlife All Access Membership Christ-centered support, weekly plans, courses, and workouts for busy moms https://www.healthyholymomlife.com/all-access-resources 👉 YouTube Workouts (Faithful Fifteen & Faith & Flow) Biblical movement you can do in the middle of mom life https://youtube.com/@healthyholymomlife?si=G8Guh018yRocwhB_ #HealthyHolyMomlife #ChristianMotherhood #FaithOverPerfection #QuietTimeTruth #BiblicalMotherhood #ChristianMomLife #FaithInTheMess

The Questions I’ve Never Answered Out Loud (1-Year Anniversary Episode)— S1:Ep58
It’s officially been one year of the Healthy Holy Momlife Podcast… and today, I’m sharing the parts of my story I have never fully said out loud. This anniversary episode is raw, emotional, and deeply personal — a look behind the microphone and into the journey God used to shape my life, my healing, my calling, and this entire ministry. I’m answering the questions I’m asked the most — the hard ones, the vulnerable ones, the ones women whisper because they want to know if redemption is possible for them too. In this powerful, tell-all episode, you’ll hear: ✨ What it was really like not growing up in a biblical home … and how the Holy Spirit pursued me long before I knew how to pursue Him. ✨ How God healed my heart after betrayal, divorce, and years of emotional damage … and the miraculous way He rebuilt my ability to trust again. ✨ Why I started this podcast with nine kids, homeschooling, and pregnancy … and the calling that kept me going for a full year. ✨ The #1 mistake Christian women make in their health … and how it keeps us spiritually and physically stuck. ✨ Whether I still struggle with body image or discipline today … and how the Holy Spirit meets me in the tension — especially in this third trimester. ✨ How I knew God was calling me home full-time and out of my FNP career … and the quiet, supernatural way He rearranged our family, our finances, and my heart. This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s not polished. It’s not the “pretty” version. It’s the truth — the messy, holy, redeemed truth of what God has done.
