Revelation 13, Pope Francis and the End of the World

The Book of Revelation offers prophetic and apocalyptic insights into the message of the end time. Many believe that because Pope Francis is the 8th Pope that he aligns with the mysteries of Revelation, and the Catholic church is often purported to be Mystery Babylon. In today's broadcast we will unravel many of these mysteries and set forth the proper order of God's revelation on the time of the end. Then Comes the End 1 Corinthians 15:24

Then Comes the End 1 Corinthains 15:24Of what end does the apostle speak? Is it the end of time believed by many? Is it the time Christ gives up his kingom to surrender his reign. Again, many believe this is the teaching of the verse. In our study today, we will examine the meaning and application of "then comes the end" in the context of 1 Cor. 15:24 and the Bible. Join us for a  great study.

First Corinthians 15 Consequences of Denial

Some at Corinth denied the resurrection of the dead ones. In this study we address their denial in an effort to demonstrate the nature of the resurrection. A great divide exists among those who believe the text discusses physical or the biological resurrection of bodies rising from the tomb.In this study we will examine some of these reasons and show thatt theey do not support the language of the text. Our goal is to lay a foundation upon which the listeners can build to complete their individual study. For more information visit www.DonKPreston.com and  www.AllThingsFulfilled.com

ISIS and the Destruction of Nimrud A Sign of the End?

In recent news, the prophecy pundits have found another hot button to push for an imminent sign of the end. The destruction of Nimrud, ancient city built by Nimrod is allegedly, the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Is this a last days prophecy? Many believe so and are using Micah 5:1 as support for their conclusions. In today's broadcast, we examine the historical framework of the prophecy regarding the fall of nations and the particular application to events in the 21st century. What we have here is a typical example of Newspaper exegesis, Bible expositors taking their lead from newsreports, CNN, Fox News and the New York Times, to craft their theology and eschatology.

Israel's Red Heifer, the Third Temple and Typology of the Sabbath

Israel's Red Heifer the Third Temple and the Typology of the SabbathToday, we will focus our studies on the types and shadows of Christianity from the Old Covenant. Torah, was but a shadow of the true temple and tabernacle of Christianity. Therefore, the meaning of these types are not to be found in the shadows but in the light of New Testament fulfillment. Our aim is to discuss them in the light of what is revealed about them in the New Testament. Those who are Christian Zionists express their disdain for the realities of Christ by attempting to pour new wine into old wineskins. They want to maintain the old while attempting to enjoy the new. We demonstrate how this is not possible according to the New Testament. That which is old and obsolete has vanished. Join us today for an enlightening discussino on these themes. For more studies on Covenant Eschatology, visit Don K. Preston's Blog, and William Bell's Blog.

Understanding The Red Heifer and the Temple of God

Join us today forr a discussion of the Red Heifer and the Temple of God. For those who are following the news, you no doubt have heard that a red heifer is being sought for the ritutals and and priests of the new temple to be built in Jerusalem. Is this the temple spoken of in the Bible? Is it valid? What does the word of God say about the temple of God and the cleansing of that temple? In this study, we will discuss the meaning of the red heifer, how and when it applies in the Scriptures and its relationship to modern day events. For more information on the  subject of eschatology visit DonKPreston.com or AllThingsFulfilled.com.

Olivet Discourse Pt. 4: Matt. 24:35-51—Watching for the "Flood"

Matthew 24 & 25 is commonly known as the "Olivet Discourse."In previous discussions we've noted that Jesus related events associated with His coming to pour out God's wrath upon Jerusalem and all the Jews in order to fulfill prophecy and bring their covenant with Him to an irreversible end in AD 70. He was to "come with the clouds" to consume the flesh of the carcase and to "gather" His elect into the new covenant relationship with Him.In today's discussion we'll look at two illustrations which prompted the urgency of that generation to be alert for the great and awesome "day of the Lord." It also sets the stage for applying the two opening parables of chp. 25. Those illustrations are "the flood" and "the faithful and sensible slave."As always, we insist that the teachings of Jesus and His apostles are not merely based on the prophets; but they are the God-inspired words which show a promise-keeping God fulfilling His word!

Discovery of the Red Heifer and the Rebuilding of the Jerusalem Temple

Recently, it was reported in the news that a red heifer is being bred for the consecration of the priests and cleansing with a view to rebuilding the temple of God in Jerusalem. They claim the ark has already been constructed. Many unsuspecting Christians, including some ill-informed media and the world will rally around this idea as though it is evidence that the people calling themselves Israel in Palestine are the Isreal of the Bible. One of the surest signs that these are not the chosen people of God are the ongoing attempts to convince they world they are with the external trappings resembling the types and shadows of the Old Covenant. For the informed, the Bible is clear in both Old and New Testaments that the Most High does not dwell in temples made with man's hands. This study will be a vigorous investigation of these claims with step by step analyses of the Scriptures. Join us for an exciting and thrilling study. You don't want to miss it. The Importance of the Sabbath and Eschatology

The Sabbath is very much neglected in the study of eschatology (end times teaching). Many who do speak of the Sabbath as central to their theology often fail to undersrtand and or acknowledge the typical nature of the Sabbath and its relationship to the fulfillment of all things. In other words, not until all types and shadows are fulfilled, does the Sabbath cease to have relevance and signficance in redemption. "So let no one judge you in food or in drink or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things [about] to come, but the substance is of Christ." (Col. 2:16-17)Of the elements in the text, all of them were the types and shadows of the true realities in Christ. To list them for futher clarity they are: fooddrinkfestivalsnew moonssabbathsThese belong to a group categerized as the shadow which prefigured the reality in Christ. As goes, one, so goes them all. For those who claim the Sabbath(s) is binding, they should be consistent and bind the food, drink, festivals and new moons. In other words, they should acknowledge they are but practitioners of a fractured Torah ministry. As long as these are joined together in Scripture, no man has the right to rend them asunder. Yet, so many have done so to create a new theology of the church. Their doctrine in essence is, unless you keep the law of Moses, you cannot be saved. Can you imagine these modern Judaizers at the Jerusalem conference where Peter stated concerning the Gentiles that they (Torah-keeping Jews) would be saved even as the non-Torah keeping Jews? (Acts 15:1f)Further, Stephen died by stoning for teaching that that Jesus Christ would come and destroy the temple and change the customs delivered to Moses. (Acts 6:13-14) Were the customs listed above spoken to Moses? Join us today at 6pm.

Dispensationalisman, Theonomy and the End of the Sabbath

Some are not aware of the fatal connection between Theonomy, the Sabbath and Dispensationalism. In the upcoming broadcast, this fatal connection is shown. While those who advocate Theonomy and simultaneously claim to oppose Dispensationalism, fail to clearly distinguish between the practical applications of both. The Sabbath becomes a common denominator for the view that advocates a separate theology for Israel, unfulilled and thus practicing the Law including the Sabbath and Theonomy which also argues the ongoing authority of the Sabbath. Thus both views perpetuate the ongoing and futurity of the Sabbath. For more information see DonKPreston.com and AllThingsFulfilled.com

Olivet Discourse, Pt. 2—Matt. 24:15–31; The Great Tribulation

When His disciples asked in amazement about the great stones of their temple being thrown to the ground, Jesus answered questions about the Temple's destruction and His coming at the "end." They saw "the end" as being when the Temple was destroyed. Jesus did not "correct" them in this conclusion; rather, He embraced it and built on it.This discourse is commonly known as the "Olivet Discourse"; covering two full chapters, Matthew 24 & 25.Rather than take the "popular" position that this discourse was about two separate "comings" of Jesus, Rod will present the view that Jesus only had in mind His coming to pour out God's wrath upon Jerusalem and all the Jews in order to fulfill prophecy and bring their covenant with Him to an irreversible end in AD 70.Consistency and continuity of prophecy and fulfillment are keys to grasping Jesus' intent in this discourse.

Luke 18 Parable of Christ's Imminent Coming

In the current study, we delve into Luke 18, following our study of Chapter 17. This study, as was the previous chapter, focused on the coming ofhte kingdom of God.The primary reason for introducing the parable was the expectation of the immediate arrival of  the kingdom of God.The context of the parable is the persecution the apostles would face leading up to the imminent coming of Christ resulting in the destruction of the temple.http://www.donkpreston.comhttp://www.allthingsfulfilled.com

Luke 17: Parousia, 70 AD or Both?

Luke 17: Parousia (Second Coming), 70AD or Both?In the above title, we are no asking whether two events separate in time are being discussed in Luke 17.Rather, we are asking whether the event known as the second coming, i.e. the Parousia of Christ occurred in 70AD.We are well aware that some have sought to divide the chapter into two separate comings. In fact, they even make three comings, i.e. one on Pentecost, one in 70 AD and one allegedly yet future to us today. In this broadcast, we continue and will conclude the evidence from the Bible that the event occurred in 70AD.No distinction can be made between the return of Christ and the AD70 event. For more information, visit, DonKPreston.com and AllThingsFulfilled.com.

Luke 17 and Matthew 24 Correlation or Contradiction?

Luke 17 and Matthew 24 Correlations or Contradictions? The study of Luke 17 is inevitable when discussing the return of Christ. Does this chapter refer to a future return of Christ? Does it refer to the day of Pentecost? Some assign Luke 17:20 to Acts 2. Is this correct? Does it refer to the destruction of Jerusalem? Many say absolutely not.Versus That Speak of the Same Thing Have Different Nature & Time? It's also interesting that for those who see Luke 17 as a future return of Christ, they make many of it's texts literal and physical. However, when the Lord uses the same wording in Matthew 24, this language is said to be figurative describing an event that happened 1900+ years ago.Doesn't this mean we have some problems. Of course! Are you willing to investigate them to solve them? Let's hope so, because we'll be discussing these two chapters and other related texts in the broadcast.Find more information on Christ's return at DonKPreston.com and AllThingsFulfilled.com.Let your readers learn about the fun and lucrative world of writing promotional letters for the $2.3 trillion direct-response industry. Building the Sanctuary in Zion |Two Guys and A Bible

Building the Sanctuary in Zion occurs when the tried stone, the sure foundation was laid. While many believe a physical temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, the Bible demonstrates that the sure foundation is not brick and mortar. The tried stone is Jesus Christ. He is the One who was laid in Zion. See Matt. 21:33-43; Acts 4:11-12; Eph. 2:19-22; 1 Pet. 2:3-8.Isaiah's prophecy is quoted several times in the New Testment as noted above. Not once is this a reference to a physical temple. The idea of a temple being built in the literal city of Jerusalem runs counter to these prophecies in the Old Testament and the fulflment in the new.In every text of the N.T., the Bible teaches that God and Christ are the new temple. John 4:23-24, not only confirms this fact, but even states that the time was at hand for the new temple to occur. The language, the time is coming and now is is the expression of the Lord that the near temple was about to appear in the first century.Join us for an invigorating study on this very important subject. The Little Apocalypse - Isaiah 28|Two Guys and A Bible

Tongues A Sign of Imminent Judgment Upon IsraelIn the little Apotcalypse of Isaiah 24-28, we have demonstrated the judgment of national Israel and the salvation of the remnant. We've also introduced the role of tongue speaking from the Law as a sign of judgment upon Israel from Deuteronomy 28 and Isaiah 28. A less known and emphasized role of tongue-speaking in the last days is the implication for unbelieving Israel. As a result, the gift of tongues becomes a vital piece of the eschatological puzzle and events of the last days. Those who are following these studies should also grasp the importance of these messages for current events in our world today. The gospel of Jesus Christ and first century fulfillment addresses the void in today's popular eschatology.Join us on Two Guys and A Bible as we continue our discussions on the Holy Spirt and the gift of tongues in the Little Apocalypse of Isaiah.  For more information, visit our websites at DonKPreston.com and AllThingsFulfilled.com

Two Guys and A Bible: Leviathon the Serpent

In this episode of Two Guys and A Bible, Don Preston discusses the destruction of Leviathon the serpent, showing from the O.T. that the destruction of Satan was prosphesied in the O.T.Isaiah's "Little Apocalypse" demonstrates the time of the resurrection, and the defeat of Satan in that day. We learn from John 12:31, that Jesus said, "Now is the judgment of this world, Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. Therefore, the time was imminent in the first century.Again in Romans 16:20, Paul, quoting from Genesis 3:15 said God shall crush Satan under your feet shortly. While some believe the term shortly has no temporal significance but only means to act in a rapid manner, Preston refutes this claim using the definitions in the Greek dictionaries and logic.End of the MillenniumSince Isaiah discusses the end or demise of Satan, he also has in mind the end of the millennium which consummates at Satan's demise. Thus it was both at hand and coming quickly in that day. This is an exciting study and demands careful consideration for all who want to know more about the time of the end from a Biblical view.Visit www.eschatology.org and www.allthingsfulfilled.com for more information.

For the Time Will Come - Apostasy and the Parousia 2 Tim 4:1-6

What does 2 Timothy 4:1-6 teach about the apostasy of which Paul warned Timothy? What does he mean by the statement, "for the time will come"? Is it to be understood as a reference to modern 21st century churches, or is it rooted in the last days eschatology of Jesus Christ and the Apostles taught in Matthew 24 and the Apostolic epistles?Does the apostasy mentioned establish a yet future return and thereby negate the imminent coming of Christ to judge the living and the dead taught in the text? At least one person has advance such argument which is believed to be a substantial refutation of Covenant Eschatology. However, in the broadcast, we expose the weakness of the argument by dissecting it contextually and linguistically with supporting research on the word "mello" which means "to be on the point, to be about to be" of when used with the infinitive. AnnouncementClick here for details about the upcoming Memphis Eschatology Conference

Accomodative Use of OT Prophecy in the NT|Two Guys and A Bible

Today, we discuss the fulfillment of Isaiah 25:6-8 and whether it was fulfilled only in the contempary time of Isaiah, or does it have legitimate Messianic application in fulfillment of the resurrection as quoted by Paul in 1 Cor. 15:50-54?  Some Amillennialists claimed Paul's quote was used by accommodation and did not really mean the text was being applied to the resurrection. We examine the claim and document with the authority of scholars on the use of accommodative language with several clear and undeniable Scriptures and themes to establish the true accommodative use affects future application. Two Guys and A Bible: The Little Apocalypse Isaiah 24-29.

The Little Apocalypes of Isaiah 24-29The Little Apocalypse as it is called in Isaiah chapters 24-28 describe what many believe is the end of this world and the beginning of the New World Order. There is a truth to the idea that Israel's world will come crashing down to an end which no one expects. Yet God also has a vision for a remenant who will obey him. Covenant language terms are used throrughout this section and many instances of language which undoubltedly support its nickname, the llittle apocalypse. Discover how God works in our world today by examining the ancient text of Isaiah with co-hosts Don K Preston, Div. and William Bell.

Isaiah 24, The "Little Apocalypse" Part 2

Isaiah chapters 24 through 28 is often called "the little apocalypse". This study shows the judgment of God upon Old Covenant Israel for breaking the terms of the covenant. The language is very discriptive of God's vengeance upon the people because they definled the land by breaking the everlasting covenant. The curse brought upon them is that which is spokent of in the law. It is the curse of the land. The city of Jerusalem is described as the city of confusion and the land is split open and reels to and fro like a drunkard. More themes are developed in these studies which are the key to unlocking the meaning of many eschatological or end times passages in the New Testament.

Two Guys and A Bible: 1 Corinthians A Framework for Temple Typology on Resurrect

1 Corinthians 15 forms the Covenantal, Contextual and Prophetic backdrop and Framework to understanding 1 Corinthians 15. In this study, the aim is to demonstrate that the concepts, words and ideas developed in chapter 15, are based on the framework clearly set forth in the chapter.Paul's development of the chapter does not occur within a vacuum. He has introduced all the elements of the chapter in the earlier chapters beginning in the chapter 1 so that the concepts are not foreign to the observant reader. To grasp the meaning of the terms and ideas presented, one would do well to seriously read and study the foundational concepts and ideas. His framework is the Creation from Genesis and the Exodus motif in a redemptive framework based on the prophetic Scriptures. Paul does not write from a Graeco Roman pespective. His eschatology, soteriology and anthropology is based on the law and the prophets. Join us for this exciting study. For more studies, visit, http://allthingsfulfilled.com and http://donkpreston.com

Two Guys and A Bible Resurrection and Temple Typology in 1 Corinthians 15

A study of the Temple Typology in 1 Corinthians 15 which further supports the kingdom-resurrection theme of the chapter. The temple focus of the the resurrection chapter is lost because of the emphasis by some on individual bodies coming out of the graves. John's gospel establishes Jesus as the Resurrection and the Live. This is the guiding principle of our approach to resurrection in the both epistles to the Corinthians. A survey of tabernacle typology begins with Adam as a priest-king in Genesis with very striking correlations in the Corinthians chapter. Christ is the last Adam. Therefore, we must appeal to Genesis to learn what we can about that statement. The kingdom-temple typology is prominent in the Bible but has also lost its emphasis due to what I believe is the Western mindset and domination principles and focused on man made governments versus the divine kingdom. William Bell carefully sets forth supporting points from the context. The net result of this approach is very liberating for those who need to understand the power and victory Christ has delivered to Sin and Hades, allowing the Christiand to live victoriously in this world.
