EP. 43 - What forgiveness means to me today after 4 years of initially finding it. ૮₍ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎ა
In this episode I share an updated version of my understanding of forgiveness. I share about the time when I initially found transformational forgiveness for my perpetrator back in November 21, 2021. I share the differences between conditional forgiveness and transformational forgiveness. I also share how even though I found transformational forgiveness I expanded my understanding of forgiveness even more. Here are a few top things I’ve learned in the last 4 years—𝟭. EP. 42 - How I found the "Grey Area" (a sign of healing). ୨ৎ
In this episode I share my understanding of the grey area and what a black & white (b&w) world or mindset looks like. The grey area is being able to be flexible about the way you think or see things. The b&w mindset is to always think it's one way or another. I share the details and how I found the grey area during one of the toughest times in my journey as a CSA survivor. I also share about the period in my life when I was living in the b&w world and I went too far into the Black (being bad) and also another time where I went too far into the White (being good). Tune in to understand my meaning of the grey area and how it's a sign you're healing boss! Maybe it's for you and you want to start practicing it or using it for areas of your life. And if you are using it already, I SEE YOU BOSS! EP. 41 - sharing my phobia of caterpillars and how it's linked to my CSA trauma .·°՞(っ-ᯅ-ς)՞°·.
In this episode I share the incident of where my phobia with caterpillars started, how it's linked to my CSA trauma with my perpetrator brother, and a recent incident that tested my tolerance showing how much healing I've done since then. You also get to witness me coping right after the incident and how it looks like for someone healing through their phobia. Exposing oneself to triggers knowing the Core-self (IFS term) can handle it, will continue to widen their window of tolerance and heal them. I am extremely proud of how far I've come and how much I understand about my traumas and how to heal through it. I hope this episode helps you understand your phobia(s) and gives you the courage to heal as well.If you’d like to 🅢🅤🅟🅔🅡 support me here is an option to do so : ♡☕️ https://buymeacoffee.com/healingwithyb✨THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE BOSS!✨As always, stay being the bad boss that you are! ̤̮xoxo,Nina💕

EP. 40 - Using IFS therapy was a game changer for my healing journey ( ๑ ˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و ♡
In this episode I share my understanding of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and how it has helped me in my healing journey as a CSA survivor. I also share some personal examples of how I used the therapy to overcome certain situations I have faced. It is one of the number one tools that has changed my life and advanced my healing. Due to the fact that it was a clinical study and experts use this today, I feel even more confident sharing with you bosses. This form of therapy works especially well for me because of my childhood trauma and understanding why I may feel/react the way I do today because of it. It doesn't mean that if you don't have childhood trauma that it won't work for you. Your "parts" (a vocab from IFS) just might not be as apparent or strong but everyone has parts. I hope you tune in to learn about IFS therapy to have a better understanding of why you are the way you are, how to overcome hard feelings, or simple understand those around you.If you want further information on IFS or you didn't understand what I talk about in my video, here are links for other resources from experts!*Watch All 5 Videos from Dr. Tori Olds for break down of IFS*Part 1 | https://youtu.be/tNA5qTTxFFA?si=EIxXikYGq1MN5eAePart 2 | https://youtu.be/3bNHkg4ZPpA?si=gM532MvdB-7MSLQQPart 3 | https://youtu.be/Vh4oiSIJhTE?si=RBuVyFE1ND7ZqgxjPart 4 | https://youtu.be/ThA1ojmekpI?si=ACt98IfjnxmnDHmQPart 5 | https://youtu.be/Oy6lM8W363Q?si=vWxJcaBTZ_Lsqb2d*The Book on IFS (I read most of Part 1 only, it was so fasinating)* https://books.google.com/books?id=ScqYDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA93&source=gbs_toc_r&cad=2#v=onepage&q&f=falseIf you’d like to 🅢🅤🅟🅔🅡 support me here is an option to do so : ♡☕️ https://buymeacoffee.com/healingwithyb✨THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE BOSS!✨As always, stay being the bad boss that you are! ̤̮xoxo,Nina💕

EP. 39 - Letting go of the first place I moved into & this one item.. ᡣ𐭩 •。ꪆৎ ˚⋅
In this episode I share about why survivors, victims, or people who have faced hardships/trauma in their life hold onto safe places, things, and people and how it's harder for them to let go. It is completely hard and the grieving process is lonely, but I believe letting go will allow space for growth. Tune in to see what the first place I moved into from the house I was SA'ed in meant to me and how I had to let go of this one item that meant a lot to me.If you’d like to 🅢🅤🅟🅔🅡 support me here is an option to do so : ♡☕️ https://buymeacoffee.com/healingwithyb✨THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE BOSS!✨As always, stay being the bad boss that you are! ̤̮xoxo,Nina💕

EP 33- Dos and Don'ts from a CSA Survivor herself ꣑ৎ
In this episode I share with you all of the dos and don'ts that I PERSONALLY find helpful or not when others are reaching out to support me. As we honor SA Awareness Month (SAAM), it is important to educate ourselves in the ways that we can support survivors. The things shared aren't clinical or professional resources/advice but my own personal experiences, feelings, and beliefs based off of being a CSA victim myself. I've navigated and journeyed with my trauma for over a decade now so I'd say I have a pretty good insight on what's helpful and what's triggering. EP 32 - If my parents created a safe space for me as a CSA survivor..
In this episode I share my thoughts about how having a productive and safe space growing up would be super helpful if things like SA happens. I share how I feel about my parents in this area and how I approached coming out to them was because I wanted to live, but not because they created a safe space for me. The point I am trying to relay here is to prepare or check yourself as a parent and create a safe space so god forbid if this ever happens to your child that they are comfortable and feeling you are a safe space for them to go to. We can't keep our eye on them 24/7 and we can't prevent everything harmful from happening, but we can be here for them sooner than later or it's too late even if things like this does happen. I hope this brings awareness. As a CSA survivor myself, I believe if my parents created a productive and safe space for me, a lot of this could've been prevented and I could've started my healing way sooner.ʚ You can find more about me at 𝘄𝘄𝘄.𝗬𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝘀𝘀𝘆.𝗰𝗼𝗺 ɞIf you’d like to 🅢🅤🅟🅔🅡 support me here is an option to do so : ♡☕️ https://buymeacoffee.com/yer.bossy✨THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE BOSS!✨As always, stay being the bad boss that you are! ̤̮xoxo,Nina💕
