Changing my relationship to time

from spiritual principles made practical's podcast · host Scott Friedman

The more I accept my mind and it's power, the more my relationship to time changes.   In order to fully accept my mind, I need to move beyond it and accept what it can and can't do.  When I move beyond my mind, I'm also moving beyond time because time is a product of the mind.  When I'm detached and looking at the mind from the outside, there is no time.  Time only exists when I'm engaged with the mind.  Getting used to the idea that time only exists within the mind and because I'm understanding and relating more to what is beyond the mind, Will and Being, I'm experiencing being beyond time more. Part of me is afraid of what that's like.  Part of me knows that being in the eternal present, beyond the mind, is where all the love, joy and peace are; nothing to be afraid of... I think I'll be growing in my conscious experience of the particulars of how my will directs my mind and how my mind carries out the direction of my will.  It is my will, intent, to be increasingly conscious of how my mind both creates and takes direction from my will.  I know my mind creates the "differentiated" world; the world of contrasts.  What I'm not very conscious of is the will directing the mind.  I know some of it.  I know my will has directed my mind to consciously accept all I can of who I am and what I'm capable of.  I've wanted to experience my potential for as long as I can remember.  That's the will at work. I do know I'm more at peace having recorded this podcast.  That tells me I've grown in my acceptance of myself and what is true.
