E71 Frankie

from Kratom Sobriety Hosted by Decima, Jacob, and Charlie

Don't engage in analysis paralysis about your kratom quit. After her husband was shot in Iraq a decade plus ago, Frankie started abusing pain pills prescribed to her spouse. Eventually, she started having kidney issues, liver spots on her skin and hair falling out. Also abusing benzos and booze, she was able to finally quit after joining a WhatsApp group. To say off kratom, she goes to AA meetings in person and has a video of her horrible withdraw on hand to watch if she gets an urge to use kratom. Love Your Life, with Randy Mermell Randy Mermel Randy talks on alcoholism, sobriety, God, and happiness. From Randy Mermell, truth seeker and founder of Principles In Application. Alive and Free Bob Gardner It's time to rip the cover off what really works to finally ditch stress, anxiety, anger, addiction, depression, past trauma, chronic pain, and all other kinds of human suffering. No, not just relief, recovery, comfort, healing, or sobriety. We're talking the F word here — freedom — Happiness and well-being on autopilot. My team and I will share straight from the trenches what we've learned from using a non-therapy, body-based approach to leave our own struggles behind while also coaching thousands of others to do the same. And since these are often such heavy topics, we're gonna get a bit irreverent and have a good time while we're at it. Because, despite what you may have been told, real freedom never involves a fight. Sober Powered: The Neuroscience of Being Sober Gillian Tietz, MS, CPRC Why do some people stay sober and others relapse back and forth? Getting sober isn’t about restriction, it’s about rewiring your brain to function without intensity, chaos, dopamine spikes, and avoidance. Hosted by Gill Tietz, a former biochemist turned sober coach, this show dives into the neuroscience of long-term sobriety — why some people relapse, why others stay free, and how to build the kind of brain that can handle life without alcohol. Each episode blends science, psychology, and real experience to help you strengthen the four pillars of neuro-resilience: 1. Neural Recovery – healing your brain’s reward and stress systems after alcohol. 2. Emotional Regulation – calming reactivity and learning to feel without escaping. 3. Cognitive Rewiring – changing the thought patterns that pull you backward. 4. Behavioral Integration – designing routine
