Making optimal choices
from spiritual principles made practical's podcast · host Scott Friedman
I've been sick. To me that's a message I need to listen more closely to myself because there is somethig I'm missing that I have the capacity to hear if I just slow down and listen well enough. In this morning's meditation I was inspired to record a podcast addressing the question, when to push and when to allow. I believe there is a time and place for everything, including allowing and pushing. I've meditated daily for over 40 years. Rarely do I need to push myself to meditate. It typically comes as an habitually ingrained habit after all these years. I allow whatever comes up in meditation to be acknowledged. If. the thought is uplifting, I act on it; if not, not. At tiems I need to push myself to follow through on an inspired idea. At those times, I believe pushing through resistance is appropriate. Applying this to work live balance, my experience is I make the maximum contribution to my family, careeer, greater world, my own health and well being, I need only act on inspired and uplifting thoughts. The value I contribute is not measured in time but in positive impact. The more I work on myself, the more I have to offer others. I offer coaching to help you tap into your inner wisdom and how you can best apply that wisdom for your benefit and the benefit of ohers as well.
