Progress in accepting our mind

from spiritual principles made practical's podcast · host Scott Friedman

Intellectually I know that I create my world with my mind in the current instant.  Creating alignment with that fact is a whole different challenge.   For me the habit of abondoning what I know to be true in favor of trying to align with those I see as being "other" is hard to break.  Sharing and acting on the perspective that connecting with myself is the only way to truly be connected to others has been a long term challenge.     Yesterday, I was at a business networking event.  In my mind I had the thought that my perspective is so different than the perspective embraced by the other attendees that maybe I should try to "tone it down" is an effort to connect better with the others in the meeting.   I decided I would "go for it" and share myself as fully and with as little inhibition as possible.  It went really really well.  A few of the participants came up to me later and expressed a desire to further engage. Part of what I shared is my belief that being myself is the only thing that could possibly work for me.      All of this amounts to me growing in the alignment of my mind and my spirit essence.  My mind can change, my spirit essence can't.   The more I accept my thinking, the more my thinking changes to be in alignment with my true essence. I offer thought coaching in which you become more conscious and accepting of the thoughts in your mind and power you have to choose which of those thoughts to act on, true freedom.  If you'd like a complimentary coaching session, you can reserve your time at https://calendly.com/scottfriedman40/30min My books are available on Amazon.  You can find links to the books on my website, www.thoughtcoachingbyscott.com
