Realizing our potential

from spiritual principles made practical's podcast · host Scott Friedman

For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to maximize my potential.  Over time, I've come to understand my mind creates the world.  To maximize my potential I need to consciously harness my mind.  I need to understand how my mind works and what it is capable of and where it takes its direction from. One of the first things to accept is that my mind is always creating.  It creates from both the conscious and the subconscious.  When I think about realizing my potential, it's important to understand my mind is already creating everything in perfect alignment with my thoughts.  It's just that some of the thoughts are conscious and some are unconscious.  The more I am aware of my conscious thoughts, the more the unconscious thoughts move from the unconscious to the conscious.   Over time, (note that time is created by the mind as well) I've come to increasingly be able to consciously direct my mind and what it creates.  I created a woman in my life who I love and wanted to marry me over 40 years ago (still married).  I created a life focused on spiritual growth which I've come to understand as consciously accepting more and more of what is true.  I left a secure corporate job over 40 years ago because I wanted to make my life all it could be and I believed that could not happen in that job.  All this and more I've created with my mind, as have you. I may be able to help you become more conscious of your thoughts and the power we have to choose which thoughts to act on.  If you want a free introductory session to see if we're a good thought coaching fit, contact me at [email protected] My books are available on Amazon.  You can find links to the books on my website, www.thoughtcoachingbyscott.com
