She Kept The Number
LDS conversion story, faith in Jesus Christ, healing from trauma, family brokenness, personal revelation, God’s timing, finding hope after loss, anchored in Christ. She kept the number. It wasn’t written anywhere obvious. She didn’t talk about it. But it was etched somewhere deeper—carried quietly through the years, too important to lose and too complicated to face. Some stories don’t end when they break. Some stories wait.At five years old, everything changed. The kind of change that doesn’t come with explanations—only fragments. A family split. A life rearranged. Questions that followed her longer than she expected. And yet… something else followed too.Small moments. Unexpected people. A feeling she couldn’t quite name—but couldn’t ignore. The kind that shows up before you understand it.Before you’re ready for it.Years later, standing on the edge of a decision she had avoided for most of her life, she finally did the one thing she had always wondered about. She made the call. What followed wasn’t what she imagined. But sometimes the story you’re trying to finish… isn’t the one God is writing. This episode lives in the space between what we hope for and what actually unfolds—and the quiet, unmistakable way Jesus Christ meets us there. Some stories resolve.Others anchor. This one does both.0:00 — A childhood moment sparks a powerful testimony of Jesus Christ 0:38 — Introduction to Don Norton and her connection to Rare Faith1:15 — A traumatic childhood: divorce, kidnapping, and separation from her mother3:45 — Seeds of faith planted through small moments and church influence5:23 — Searching for her mother and rebuilding a relationship 9:20 — Marriage, healing, and building a Christ-centered family life11:00 — Discovering purpose through learning, health coaching, and EFT12:16 — A defining moment: feeling the Savior’s love at her mother’s funeral14:50 — Staying anchored to Christ through struggle, prayer, and church18:48 — The power of forgiveness and receiving divine help to forgive21:39 — A faith crisis and finding clarity through scripture (Romans 16)25:29 — Joy in Christ: understanding “best days and worst days”30:32 — Trusting God through real-life miracles and answered prayers36:20 — God prepares the way: learning to trust His timing37:31 — Practical tools to reconnect with God in hard moments40:17 — A 40-year prayer answered: surrendering control and trusting God46:22 — How to build trust with God through small, consistent experiences49:02 — Why she stays: knowing Christ’s love through lived experience49:31 — Christ as our “surety” and anchor through the Atonement

How The Book Of Mormon Led Me To Jesus Christ
Faith journey. Conversion story. Joseph Smith. Book of Mormon. Finding truth. One man’s search for answers led him from a Christian home in Texas to a life forever changed by Jesus Christ.Jimmie Jones grew up in Dallas with football in one hand and a baseball in the other. He believed in Jesus, but faith was mostly something reserved for Easter, Mother’s Day, and the occasional Sunday. Then a high school girlfriend handed him a copy of the Book of Mormon. The relationship ended, but the questions did not.Years later, after college, baseball scholarships, financial setbacks, and a series of unexpected friendships, Jimmie found himself surrounded by people who quietly lived something different. They answered his questions, invited him in, and stayed up late talking about Joseph Smith, priesthood, and the Restoration. What started as curiosity slowly became something more.As Jimmie learned, he also began to change. The gospel stopped feeling like an idea and started becoming a way of life. What followed was baptism, missionary service, and a foundation of faith that would shape everything after it.This is a moving story about how God keeps working on our hearts, often through ordinary people, long conversations, and questions we cannot quite let go of.

When Charity Changes Your Heart
Have you ever felt the sting of frustration—even on a sacred day like Easter—and wondered why your heart just won’t align with what you know is right? In this powerful, real-life reflection inspired by David A. Bednar, we explore what it actually means to become like Jesus Christ—not through striving harder, but through receiving a changed heart. This message speaks directly to anyone in the Latter-day Saint community who is tired of self-condemnation, tired of trying to “earn” charity, and quietly wondering if true Christlike love is even possible in real life. What if charity isn’t something you achieve—but something that possesses you? What if the Atonement of Jesus Christ is not just about forgiveness, but about transformation in the very moments you feel least like Him?Through a relatable Easter experience filled with frustration, judgment, and a sudden softening of heart, this episode will help you see how the Savior meets you in the middle of your imperfection—and changes you from the inside out. If you’ve ever struggled to feel peace, patience, or love when it matters most, this message will stop you in your tracks and remind you: He is the one who changes hearts.Chapters 0:00 Easter Frustration and Self-Condemnation0:46 Turning Inward vs Turning Outward1:19 Realizing “I’m Not Like Him”1:47 Enduring to the End and Charity2:27 He Changed My Heart3:06 A Lifetime of Becoming Charity3:50 Why God Still Works With Us4:05 When Charity Possesses You

If you’ve ever felt like you’re not enough… like no matter how hard you try, you still fall short—this message will speak directly to your heart. In a world that constantly tells us to strive harder, do more, and become better, Elder David A. What if your imperfect prayers, your inconsistent discipline, and your trying—even when it feels messy—are already enough for Him to work with?In this episode, we explore what it really means to rely on the mercy and merits of Jesus Christ instead of exhausting ourselves trying to prove we’re worthy. What Chronic Pain Taught Me About My Relationship with God
Does God stay when the pain doesn’t go away? In this powerful LDS testimony, we talk about chronic pain, family trials, doubt, and what a real relationship with Jesus Christ looks like when life doesn’t get easier. As a young girl, Jacque felt the Spirit before she understood what it meant. While gospel music played in her home, something settled quietly in her heart—a certainty that Jesus Christ was real, and that He knew her.She would need that certainty later. Her parents were the only ones in their families to join the Church.Faith was new. Hard. Sometimes lonely. Then came divorce, constant change, and the feeling of never quite knowing where she belonged. She wanted a strong family, a steady life, a faith that didn’t shake—but life didn’t unfold the way she imagined. She chose the covenant path anyway.Marriage. Children. Responsibility. And then a trial she couldn’t fix.For more than ten years, Jacque lived with chronic pain that never fully left.Prayers didn’t always bring relief.Answers didn’t always come quickly. And there were moments she wondered why a loving God would allow something that just kept going. What she learned in those years changed the way she saw Him forever. In this deeply honest conversation, Jacque shares what happened when her relationship with God stopped being something she talked about—and became something she depended on.When she told the Lord the truth about her anger, her fear, and her exhaustion… and felt compassion instead of distance. When repentance felt like healing. When covenants became something that held her steady instead of something she had to hold alone. This episode is about chronic pain.About faith that doesn’t come easily.About staying when it would be easier to step back. And about discovering that sometimes the moment you wonder if God is still there… is the moment you begin to know that He never left.0:00 Life Falls Apart: Losing Stability Early6:22 Searching for Safety in a Shaken World7:23 Choosing Covenants for Yourself7:38 Craving Family, Finding Eternal Love9:46 When Faith Becomes Performance13:01 The Trap of Earning God’s Love13:31 Chronic Pain & a Divine Awakening13:50 Learning to Feel Loved—Without Earning It14:20 Anger at God… and Why He Stayed17:46 Daily “Love Gathering” with the Lord32:08 Repentance = Telling the Truth36:05 Breaking Self-Protection & Receiving Love36:27 Healing Through Vulnerability & Example43:25 The Temple as a Spiritual Hospital44:33 “Where Else Would I Go?”—Christ Is My RockShow Notes: www.lionessatthedoor.com

Can Faith in God Survive Loss and Tragedy?
Relationship with God, personal revelation, conversion story, enduring faith, trusting God through loss, miracles, priesthood blessings, and staying close to Jesus—this powerful LDS testimony is deeply moving.Dan didn’t just join the Church. He learned, over a lifetime, what it means to build a real relationship with God.As a teenager, he walked into church because of a girl. He stayed because, little by little, he began to feel something he had never known before—that God saw him, guided him, and was leading his life. That relationship would be tested again and again.Through a painful childhood, years of tension with his father, seasons of loneliness, devastating loss, frightening health crises, cancer, open-heart surgery, and the death of a daughter, Dan found himself returning to the same question: Would he trust God, even when he didn’t understand? This is not a story of easy answers. It is a story of wrestling with heaven. Of learning to rely on the Lord when life feels unbearable. Of discovering that sometimes God does not remove the trial—but He changes us in the middle of it.Dan shares how priesthood service, sacred impressions, miracles, and years of quiet faith deepened his relationship with God until it became something unshakable.Because when your relationship with Him becomes real, it changes the way you face everything else.If you have ever wondered whether God is really there, whether He knows your name, or whether He can carry you through what feels impossible, this episode will stay with you.0:00 – A friendship that changed everything1:04 – Joining the Church at 181:58 – A hard childhood and becoming resilient3:14 – “You might like me” moment4:31 – First experience at church5:13 – Opposition from his father6:03 – Meeting his wife and building a family7:07 – Finding strength through priesthood leaders8:06 – Seeing the Lord’s hand in opportunities9:00 – Conversion and temple sealing10:09 – Financial struggle and career shift12:09 – God opening unexpected doors14:32 – Called to serve in the bishopric16:23 – Ministering in moments of tragedy18:09 – Called as bishop20:37 – Learning to receive revelation22:09 – Becoming dependent on the Lord24:04 – Defending faith with love25:16 – A father’s heart begins to change27:03 – A miracle that saved his life30:05 – Cancer diagnosis and divine timing33:02 – Losing his daughter34:18 – Learning to let go and trust God36:07 – Trusting God in unanswered prayers37:59 – A full circle moment with his father40:05 – Personal conversion is required41:59 – Daily life centered on Christ43:23 – Strength through relationships45:24 – Faith in God’s purpose48:50 – Why I stay in the Church

Can You Really Walk with Jesus Christ?
When life falls apart, when faith feels distant, and when everything you thought was certain starts to unravel, the Spirit may be closer than you think. This episode is about faith, heartbreak, second chances, and learning to follow Jesus Christ when the path makes no sense. The house was dark, but Cari couldn’t sleep.Too much had changed. Too many things she once felt sure about no longer felt steady. Her life looked nothing like she thought it would, and the faith that used to come so easily now felt just out of reach. She hadn’t planned to end up here. She was raised in a home where Jesus Christ was part of everything — scripture, prayer, family, purpose. As a young woman, she was strong in her beliefs, bold in her convictions, certain about the life she wanted to live. But life has a way of taking turns you never see coming.Choices led to places she never expected. Marriage brought joys she loved — and trials she never imagined. Fear, illness, and pressure slowly began to reshape the world she thought she understood. And in the middle of it all, something began to happen she couldn’t explain.Impressions she hadn’t asked for. Moments that felt too perfectly timed. A quiet feeling she thought she had lost.It didn’t come all at once. It never does. This is a story about what happens when the life you planned falls apart… and God begins leading you somewhere you never meant to go.TRIGGER WARNING:This episode includes discussion of abortion, pornography, satanic societies, as well as divorce, which may be sensitive for some listeners. The endless grind, the constant striving, the feeling that no amount of effort is enough to break free? I have. I’ve seen it in the faces of so many around me, in the restless eyes, the voices weary from chasing a promise that man’s economy cannot fulfill. And it breaks my heart. I look at the world we’ve built, and I see a system designed not to liberate, but to ensnare—to keep us producing, consuming, and bowing to the false gods of greed, control, and scarcity. But what if I told you that none of this was what we were created for? It's time to get back to basics and cultivate our relationship with the Holy Trinity, so we are strong in the latter days.

What Happens When Your Faith Gets Shaken?

The moments where obedience feels unclear, emotions run high, and you’re left wondering if you’re getting it right. In this conversation, we share two deeply personal experiences—one about learning to let go of control and trust God in the middle of imperfection… and another about facing a faith crisis within family relationships that brought everything into question.Through prayer, scripture study, and temple worship, the answers didn’t come all at once—but they came. More Than A Believer -- Becoming A Disciple of Jesus Christ
What does it truly mean to become a disciple of Jesus Christ—especially when you feel like you’ve fallen short? In this AnchorPoint episode, we explore powerful teachings from Russell M. Nelson about our divine identity as children of God, children of the covenant, and disciples of Jesus Christ. If you’ve ever wondered how to stay faithful when you feel imperfect, this message will speak directly to your heart.Discipleship is not about being all in or all out—it is about becoming. Line upon line, step by step, we grow into who the Savior knows we can be. Through the deeply relatable story of Peter the Apostle, we see what it looks like to love Jesus Christ, make mistakes, and still be called, trusted, and transformed. Peter denied Christ—but that was not the end. Before the Applause: A Choice That Changed Everything
LDS faith, BYU Cougarettes, personal revelation, trusting God’s timing, motherhood as divine calling, LDS women, composing sacred music, Latter-day Saint testimony, spiritual gifts, Jesus Christ—this episode is about becoming. She was on the team. The practices were long. The performance was coming. Sixty thousand people would soon fill the stadium. But before the spotlight ever touched her face… she walked away. Not because she failed. Not because she wasn’t good enough. But because heaven whispered something better. In a quiet classroom, she felt it clearly: “This is where you belong.”Instead of stage lights, she chose a piano bench. Instead of applause, she chose four-hour practice days. Instead of finishing quickly, she chose motherhood first.Five children. Years of hidden sacrifice. A music degree completed after 45. A platform built in a world that didn’t even exist when she was 18.She didn’t miss her moment. She honored her calling. Her gifts were never singular. They were twofold: Motherhood. And composing music that testifies of Jesus Christ. This is a story about trusting revelation. About obedience before recognition. About how God prepares us in private for influence we cannot yet see.If you’ve ever wondered whether stepping away means stepping backward… If you’ve wrestled with balancing gifts and family… If you’ve questioned the timing of your dreams…This episode will remind you:God magnifies what we surrender. Finding Rest Through the Sacrament | Renewing Covenants with Jesus Christ
What does it actually mean to rest in the Lord through our covenants? For members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the sacrament is more than a weekly ordinance—it is an invitation to come unto Christ, renew our covenants, and find spiritual rest.In this Anchor Point from the Anchored Podcast, we talk about the peace and protection that come from covenant keeping and why the sacrament can feel like a place of refuge when life feels overwhelming. As we remember Jesus Christ, renew our baptismal covenants, and seek the companionship of the Holy Ghost, we discover that we don’t have to carry everything alone. We discuss what resting in our covenants actually looks like in real life—softening our hearts, trusting the Lord, and allowing Him to do what we cannot. When we slow down, listen to the Spirit, and lean into our relationship with Jesus Christ, the burden becomes lighter and the path becomes clearer. You’ll also hear real experiences of how the Lord shows up in simple but powerful ways when we trust Him and allow ourselves to rest in His grace. If you’ve ever felt exhausted trying to do everything yourself, this conversation will remind you that Jesus Christ invites us to come, partake, renew, and rest.0:00 Elder Jaggi: The Temple Altar as a Place of Rest 0:09 Resting in Our Covenants With Jesus Christ 0:26 The Sacrament Table: Christ’s Invitation to Rest 1:03 Finding Peace and Rest Through the Sacrament 1:28 Taking the Sacrament Covenant Into Daily Life 1:50 Clark G. When It’s Hard to Go to Church: The Protection of the Sacrament
The adversary’s goal is simple: separate us from Jesus Christ. In this Anchor Point conversation inspired by Elder Jaggi, we talk about why the sacrament is one of the Lord’s greatest protections for our souls. Each week we are invited to come to the sacrament table and renew the covenants that bind us to Jesus Christ—covenants that protect us from the adversary’s efforts to pull us away from Him.But sometimes going to sacrament meeting isn’t easy. Sometimes it’s painful. Sometimes it feels easier not to go.Yet the quiet whisperings of the Spirit remind us that distance from Christ is exactly what the adversary wants—and that peace is always found by coming back to Him.We also discuss the powerful gift of the Holy Ghost, and how—even when our efforts aren’t perfect—the Lord honors a willing heart. As we come to the sacrament and do what we can, the Holy Ghost sanctifies us, strengthens us, and helps us stay anchored to Jesus Christ. This Anchor Point is a reminder that our covenants are protection, and the Savior is always inviting us back to Him.0:00 Elder Jaggi: The Adversary Is the Great Separator 0:30 The Sacrament: Our Covenant Protection 0:58 When the Adversary Tries to Keep Us from Church 1:32 Real-Life Example: Covenants Bring Protection 2:08 When Church Feels Painful to Attend 3:28 A Spiritual Prompting: “Let Us All Press On” 4:04 Why We Need the Sacrament Every Week 4:41 Missing the Sacrament and Seeking the Holy Ghost 5:27 The Blessing of Returning to the Sacrament 5:54 Sanctification Through the Holy Ghost

What If The Altar Is Where Prayers Become Worship?
What does it mean to place something on the altar of God? In the gospel of Jesus Christ, the symbolism of the altar appears throughout scripture—from ancient temple worship to our modern covenant discipleship. In this Anchor Point episode, we explore what it really means to place our challenges, desires, and even our will on the altar of the Lord and allow Him to sanctify both the offering and the offering giver.Drawing from gospel principles familiar to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we discuss how the altar represents sacrifice, consecration, sanctification, and a broken heart and contrite spirit. How does the Lord use our trials, struggles, and sacrifices to shape us into disciples of Jesus Christ? And how does the act of surrendering something sacred to God become part of our covenant relationship with Him?Elder Jaggi joins us in a thoughtful conversation about the deeper meaning of altars—both ancient and personal—and how disciples today can understand the spiritual purpose behind placing something on the altar of the Lord.We reflect on what we personally place on the altar in our lives—our challenges, fears, hopes, and desires—and how the Lord uses those offerings to sanctify us in the process. Often the very things we bring to the altar become sacred as the Lord refines our hearts and aligns our will with His.We also talk about prayer as a modern expression of the altar. When we kneel in prayer, we symbolically kneel at our own altar—bringing our burdens, gratitude, questions, and sacrifices before Heavenly Father. In those quiet moments, offering a broken heart and a contrite spirit, we allow God to transform us.This conversation is a reminder that discipleship is not just about what we give up—it’s about what the Lord makes of us as we place our lives on His altar.0:00 Why Elder Jaggi’s Message Matters0:14 What the Altar Represents0:40 Sanctification Through the Atonement1:22 The Purpose of the Altar1:46 Altars and the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ1:53 A Personal Temple Experience2:29 Taking Questions to Heavenly Father2:44 When the Lord Answers Prayer3:06 The Sanctifying Power of Prayer3:34 Kneeling at Our Personal Altar4:05 Offering a Broken Heart and Contrite Spirit

Are You Running From God?
In this Anchor Point, we study Elder Matthew S. Holland’s General Conference message Forsake Not Your Own Mercy and explore repentance, running from God, fear, spiritual avoidance, and how Jesus Christ seeks us when we feel distant or unworthy. We ask an honest question: Are we running from God?Sometimes we pull away because of fear. Fear that we’ve disappointed Him. Fear that we aren’t strong enough. Fear that we’ll have to do it alone. Many of us quietly believe we must handle our struggles ourselves. But what if God never intended us to run alone? In this episode, we talk about the invitation to stop running away from the Lord and instead run with Him. Heavenly Father does not expect self-reliance without Him. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, He promises strength, companionship, and growth far beyond what we could accomplish on our own.We also explore the powerful truth that even when we distance ourselves, the Lord continues to pursue us. Does God talk to YOU?
Personal revelation | Hearing the Holy Ghost | LDS conversion story | Recognizing spiritual promptings | Faith in Jesus Christ | God’s guidanceBill wasn’t looking for God. His life felt full, predictable, and good. But certain moments wouldn’t let him go — a quiet experience at Temple Square, a stranger placing a Book of Mormon in his hands, a feeling that stayed long after the moment passed.Nothing dramatic happened. No lightning. No instant answers. Just small impressions that kept returning.Years later, when Bill finally asked Heavenly Father what to do, the response came differently than he expected — through missionaries, scripture study, quiet promptings, and the unmistakable influence of the Holy Ghost. Piece by piece, his testimony began to grow, not through one life-changing event, but through many small moments that suddenly connected. This episode of the Anchored Podcast explores personal revelation, conversion, and how God often speaks in ways we almost miss. If you’ve ever wondered how to recognize the Spirit, how God guides us, or whether He’s already working in your life, Bill’s story will feel deeply personal.Because sometimes the question isn’t if God is talking…It’s whether we recognize His voice when He does.0:00 When You Find Truth, You Share It0:41 Meet Bill Bennett Author of Jacob T. Putting God First...How Faith in Jesus Christ Brings Peace Provision and Power in Our Lives
In this LDS General Conference Anchor Point, we share insights from Stephen C. Barlow’s talk “Lovest Thou Me” and discuss what it means for Latter-day Saints to truly put God first in their lives through faith in Jesus Christ, daily scripture study, prayer, obedience, gratitude, and living the Book of Mormon. In this message, we reflect on simple, real-life examples—like choosing scripture study first thing in the morning and noticing how God seems to expand our day and multiply our efforts. We talk about giving Him our time—our most precious resource—and how He returns it with greater peace, clarity, and spiritual strength. We also look at the example of Alma, who changed course immediately when the Lord asked him to go back. His willingness to “speedily” obey reminds us that putting God first sometimes means setting aside what we want for what He wants. Finally, we talk about gratitude—how taking time to thank God for His blessings, not just ask for more, is another powerful way to put Him first. As you listen, consider this question:✨ Where can you put God first in your life right now?If this message encouraged you, please like, subscribe, and share it with someone who could use a reminder of God’s abundant blessings.🙏💛0:00 – Why We All Need More Jesus and Daily Discipleship0:13 – What Does It Really Mean to Put God First in Daily Life0:18 – Busy Mornings, Exercise, and Struggling with Scripture Study0:42 – What Happens When You Put the Lord First Every Day1:02 – Feeling God’s Blessings Multiply When You Prioritize Him1:14 – Balancing Physical Health and Spiritual Habits as Latter-day Saints1:33 – Giving God Our Time: Our Most Precious Gift1:50 – How Heavenly Father Recognizes Our Love and Obedience2:08 – Alma’s Immediate Obedience and Trusting God’s Direction2:39 – Choosing Faith Over Comfort and Personal Convenience2:57 – Learning to Practice Gratitude for God’s Daily Blessings3:23 – Moving Beyond Dutiful Prayers to Heartfelt Thankfulness3:39 – How Gratitude Helps Us Feel God’s Presence More Clearly3:59 – Invitation: Where Can You Put God First This Week4:07 – Stay Grounded and Stay Anchored in Jesus Christ

Am I Obeying Out of Love or Obligation and Feeling God’s Love in Daily Discipleship
What does obedience in covenant living really mean? In this LDS General Conference message, we explore how to feel God’s love, strengthen faith like Peter, and recognize the Lord’s blessings when we choose to obey.In this episode, we reflect on a powerful message from Stephen C. Barlow about what it really means to show our love for God through obedience. Are we obeying just to “check the box,” or are we learning to recognize the Lord’s love in return? When we train our hearts to look for His hand, we begin to see that obedience isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection. We also talk about Peter walking on water. He only had a little faith. He stepped out. He got scared. He started to sink. And yet, the Lord was immediately there to lift him up. That is who our God is. That is how He meets us when we try. When we give Him just a little… He gives us so much love in return.✨ In this video, we discuss:• How obedience opens us to God’s love• Why small acts of faith matter• How the Lord meets us in our weakness• Learning to recognize His blessings in daily life• Growing spiritually through covenant keepingIf you’ve ever wondered whether God really sees your effort, your prayers, and your imperfect obedience—this message is for you.👉 Like, subscribe, and share to stay anchored in Christ and grow in faith together.#LDSFaith #GeneralConference #CovenantPath #FeelGodsLove #FaithInChrist #Discipleship #AnchoredInChrist #SpiritualGrowth #trustingod 0:00 – Finding Peace in Jesus Christ Through God’s Love0:21 – How Showing Love for God Helps Us Feel His Love0:34 – Offering Our Sacrament and Our Hearts to the Lord0:51 – What Are We Willing to Place on the Altar?1:20 – Trusting the Spirit and Recognizing God’s Timing1:25 – Peter Walking on Water and Trusting the Savior2:39 – How Small Acts of Faith Invite God’s Power2:56 – Loving God Without Expecting a Reward3:19 – Obedience, Patriarchal Blessings, and Spiritual Growth3:53 – Obedience Trains Our Spiritual Perception4:19 – Finding God’s Love Through Family History Work4:45 – Experiencing Miracles Through Service and Faith5:26 – Recognizing God’s Love Through Spiritual Gifts5:38 – Staying Grounded and Anchored in Jesus Christ

Learning How God Speaks to You Personally and Feeling His Love Every Day
How do you personally feel God’s love? In this Anchored podcast episode, we reflect on General Conference teachings from Elder Stephen C. Barlow and explore personal revelation, the Holy Ghost, and how Jesus Christ helps Latter-day Saints recognize Heavenly Father’s love.We discuss how feeling God’s love is deeply personal and individual. While we briefly reference the five love languages, we explain why experiencing Heavenly Father’s love is not necessarily the same as how we receive love from other people. Learning to recognize His love is a spiritual process guided by the Holy Ghost and strengthened through our covenant relationship with Jesus Christ. We share personal experiences of how the Lord comforts, teaches, reassures, and strengthens us in unique ways. As we learn to recognize how He speaks to us personally, we begin to see that He has been showing us His love all along.✨ In this episode, we discuss:• General Conference insights• Personal revelation• Recognizing the Spirit• Feeling God’s love daily• Hearing the Lord’s voice• Strengthening your relationship with Jesus ChristIf this message strengthens your faith, please like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs to feel God’s love today.💬 Comment below: How have you personally felt Heavenly Father’s love in your life?0:00 – Finding Jesus Christ in Everyday Life | Why We All Need More of the Savior0:05 – Lovest Thou Me | Learning How Heavenly Father Shows His Love0:14 – Love Languages and Marriage | Understanding Christlike Love in Relationships0:48 – Feeling God’s Presence During Trials | When Life Feels Hard1:28 – When Heaven Feels Silent | Trusting the Lord in Spiritual Struggles2:02 – Finding Peace Through the Holy Ghost | Christ’s Calming Influence2:41 – How God Speaks According to Our Understanding | Personal Revelation3:00 – Discovering How the Lord Communicates With You | Symbols and Spiritual Insight3:51 – Line Upon Line Revelation | Recognizing God’s Patterns in Your Life4:14 – Learning From the Temple | Spiritual Experiences and Sacred Moments4:41 – Seeing God’s Love in Daily Life | Faith in Simple Moments5:12 – Teaching Children About God’s Love | Finding Christ in Service5:39 – How to Feel Heavenly Father’s Love | Strengthening Your Relationship With Christ5:45 – Stay Grounded and Anchored in Jesus Christ | Living With Faith

God Didn’t Fix It… Can I Still Trust Him?
LDS faith, grief, unanswered prayers, trusting God, Jesus Christ, healing, covenants, temple worship, and finding hope when life doesn’t go as planned — this episode explores what happens when faithful disciples face real heartbreak. She was raised between worlds — born into a family that escaped Iran, with generations of faithful women who fasted for her baptism. Faith was always part of her story. But so was loss. After years of searching for peace, love, and belonging, life took turns she never expected, leaving her asking questions many believers silently carry: Why didn’t God fix this? And how do I trust Him now?In this deeply honest episode of the Anchored Podcast, you’ll hear a story that reads like the pages of a novel — seasons of hope, devastating grief, spiritual wrestling, and ultimately discovering the Savior in a way she never had before. Through temple worship, quiet promptings, and unexpected new beginnings, she learned that sometimes God doesn’t remove the pain… but He does walk with us through it.This conversation is for anyone who has prayed for a miracle and wondered why heaven felt silent — and for anyone trying to hold on to faith when life doesn’t unfold the way they thought it would.🎧 Listen now and discover what God may be doing when He doesn’t fix it.Show Notes: The book can be purchased on her website, careshmeh.com/book, https://amzn.to/3X4ZTpN Barnes and Noble, Kobo, IngramSparks, Goodreads, Google Books, and Booktopia.0:02 We Can See Jesus Christ’s Face When We Let Him In0:38 Meet Careshmeh French Dean LDS Convert From Iran Story1:54 Family Fasts and Prayers to Help Her Get Baptized LDS3:01 How the Gospel Held Me Together Through Trauma4:27 Temple Promptings, Divorce, and Trusting God’s Timing7:08 Acute Myeloid Leukemia Diagnosis and the Faith to Be Healed8:46 Miracles in the New Testament and Believing for Healing10:01 Knowing Heavenly Father but Not Yet Knowing Jesus Personally10:48 Hospital Advocacy and Why No One Should Go Alone12:31 The Prompting to “Let Him Go” and the Crisis of Faith14:03 Grief, Loneliness, and Feeling Abandoned by People15:15 In-Laws Betrayal and the Trauma That Compounded Grief19:15 God Sends People to Strengthen You When Others Fall Away20:49 Anger at God, Honest Prayer, and Spiritual Warfare21:39 I Met the Savior: Christ’s Empathy and Comfort in Grief23:10 When Grief Makes You Want to Quit Living23:26 May 29, 2024: Pie With Daniel and the First Breath Again26:13 “I’ve Loved You for Seven Years” and Recognizing God’s Hand27:03 June 8, 2024: Remarried and Seeing God’s Miracle Timing28:13 How to Come to Know Jesus Christ Day by Day29:05 Temple Worship: The First Time I Heard the Savior’s Voice30:28 Loved Ones Beyond the Veil and Spiritual Help in Grief32:11 Grief vs Depression and Why That Difference Matters32:43 EMDR Therapy and Seeing the Savior in Sacred Healing34:08 Falling Before Christ and Realizing We Can All Know Him35:26 Breathwork Experience: “He’s Always With Me”36:27 Do We All Need Personal Experiences With Jesus Christ?37:32 Simple Discipleship: Scriptures, Prayer, Church, Temple, Family39:31 Turn Off the Noise to Hear God and Feel the Spirit41:13 Why the Temple Brings Quiet, Revelation, and Comfort43:08 Why God Helped Through the Savior in That Season45:48 Living Differently After Loss: Love More Fiercely and Surrender48:03 Learning to Trust Heavenly Father Again After Devastation51:12 Why I Stay LDS: “Stay in the Boat” Through the Storm55:24 Book Plug: Made for Me by Careshmeh French Dean

Anchor Point 3 - Jackson "HIGHER AND HOLIER"
In this anchor point, Stephanie and Roseanne reflect on Elder Jackson’s teaching about accounting and how it invites us to minister in a higher and holier way. Rather than serving out of routine or obligation, they explore what happens when we take our stewardships to the Lord and sincerely ask, “How can I minister the way Thou would?”They share how asking that question opens the door to personal revelation—specific ideas, impressions, and quiet promptings that help us reach individuals in meaningful ways. As we act on that inspiration, we come to recognize that the Lord is already remembering and caring for that person, and He allows us to participate in His work.Through beautiful personal experiences, Stephanie and Roseanne discuss what it looks like to truly listen, to understand someone’s real needs, and to go beyond surface-level connections. They share how deeper relationships and thoughtful service can meet needs that are often unseen—and how sacred and fulfilling that process can be.This anchor point invites listeners to slow down, seek the Spirit, and trust that small, inspired acts of ministering can become powerful expressions of Christlike love.

Anchor Point 2 - Jackson "WHEN WE ARE REMEMBERED"
In this anchor point, Stephanie and Roseanne talk about the power of being remembered—and what it does to the human heart. Through examples from the scriptures and personal experiences, they explore how remembering someone by name, circumstance, or story helps people feel seen, valued, and loved. They discuss how moments of being remembered—whether through a simple word, a note, or a meaningful gesture—can make us feel special, much like receiving a birthday card or gift. And then they ask a deeper question: If that’s how we feel when people remember us, how does the Savior feel about us? And how do we feel about Him?This conversation also turns inward as they reflect on the sacrament as a sacred opportunity to remember the Savior intentionally—not just routinely. Remembering Him changes us. It softens our hearts, steadies our identity, and reminds us who we are and whose we are.Ultimately, this anchor point invites us to look for opportunities to help others feel remembered—because that is Christlike work—and to allow ourselves to feel known and loved by the Savior who remembers us perfectly.

Anchor Point 1 - Jackson "I HAVE CALLED THEE BY NAME, YE ARE MINE"
This anchor point is rooted in Elder William K. Jackson’s talk “Remembering the Sheep,” where he teaches the Lord’s pattern of accounting—not counting people as numbers, but knowing them as individuals. In the Lord’s kingdom, sheep are not managed in bulk; they are remembered one by one.Stephanie and Roseanne talk about how this principle applies directly to our stewardships—especially in presidencies, councils, and leadership settings. When we speak about people by name, when we reference specific individuals and their real circumstances, something shifts. Names bring clarity, responsibility, and love. People feel seen.We share personal experiences of what it feels like when someone remembers your name—and the intentional practice of learning and using others’ names—and how deeply that communicates worth and belonging.Ultimately, this reflects the Lord Himself. Scripture tells us He knows us personally and calls us by name. Even in the Creation, nothing was left unnamed—light, darkness, earth, seas—each received a name. Naming establishes identity and relationship. There is something sacred about a name. When we remember names, we are not just being organized—we are mirroring heaven. To be called by name is to be claimed. “I have called thee by name; thou art mine.”

Episode 64 - Anchored - Brandon Zitting - The Space Between the Prayer and the Promise
Faith didn’t save Brandon from pain—it met him inside it.From a childhood marked by leukemia to adulthood shaped by uncertainty, unanswered prayers, and closed doors, Brandon learns that God’s silence is not absence. Jobs don’t come when asked. Healing doesn’t arrive on demand. Direction often comes only after the step is taken. As timelines stretch and fear presses in, quiet impressions begin to guide him—toward a marriage formed in days, decisions that require trust without proof, and a life where the details fall into place only after surrender. This episode is a story about waiting, alignment, and a God who works differently than we expect—but never without purpose.Because sometimes faith isn’t about getting the answer. It’s about following it.Show Notes: @SmallBizAIGuy on X, @bouncehousebeckle on TikTok

Anchor Point 3 - Gong "WOULD YOU BE THE ONE GOD SENDS?"
In this third Anchor Point inspired by Elder Gerrit W. Gong’s message “No One Sits Alone,” we sit with a searching question:If someone is praying for a covenant keeper… would you be the one God sends?Roseanne and Stephanie share personal experiences of moments when they needed comfort—times when they needed someone to show up, to mourn with them, to sit with them, and to help carry what felt too heavy to carry alone. We also reflect on sacred experiences where others did exactly that—quietly, faithfully, and without being asked. This conversation explores what it means to live as a Zion people:People who are availablePeople who have committed their hearts to GodPeople who have simply said, “Heavenly Father, I’m Yours. Use me.”We talk about the preparation required to become this kind of people—the inner change, the softening of the heart, and the refining that allows God to trust us with His children. As we are changed, we begin to notice something holy happening: the Lord starts placing us in the right moments, with the right people, at the right time.Through the Spirit, He prompts us to act—to reach out, to stay, to listen, to love—so His love, light, and goodness can flow through us, just as it did through Jesus Christ.✨ Zion isn’t built by grand gestures. It’s built by covenant keepers who are willing to be sent.

Anchor Point 2 - Gong "WHO IS SITTING ALONE WHILE WE SCROLL?"
In this Anchor Point conversation, we return to Elder Gerrit W. Gong’s message “No One Sits Alone” and explore a very present-day question:Who might be sitting alone while we scroll?Roseanne and Stephanie talk honestly about what authentic connection really looks like—and how it doesn’t come in just one form. Some of us connect by talking. Some connect quietly. Some reach out with words, others with presence. What matters most is not how we connect, but whether we are listening to the Spirit as we do.This episode centers on learning our own authentic way of connecting with people and trusting that the Spirit knows how each of us is meant to show up. We discuss: • How human connection looks different for different people • Why comparison shuts down authentic connection • How the Spirit prompts us personally to notice and reach others • The importance of staying connected to the Spirit so we can connect to peopleRather than forcing ourselves into someone else’s version of connection, this Anchor Point invites us to stay close to the Savior and let Him teach us our way—one person, one prompting, one moment at a time.✨ When we are connected to the Spirit, we are better able to see who is sitting alone—and know how to reach them in a way that is real, safe, and sincere.

Anchor Point 1 - Gong "ROOM FOR ALL, BUT IS IT SAFE TO PULL UP A SEAT?"
In this Anchor Point episode, we reflect on Elder Gong’s powerful message, “No One Sits Alone,” and ask an honest, heart-level question:There may be room for all—but is it safe to pull up a seat?Stephanie and Roseanne explore what it really looks like to sit with others in the Savior’s way—especially when the topics feel uncomfortable, tender, or controversial. Using Elder Gong’s invitation as a guide, we talk about how Jesus prepares our hearts to create spaces of safety, belonging, and love without fear or defensiveness. This conversation includes thoughtful discussion around topics like LGBTQ, not as a debate, but as an opportunity to practice Christlike presence—learning how to sit with people, listen well, and love as the Savior does.Rather than rushing to fix, label, or resolve, we explore how covenant discipleship shapes how we show up: • How do we make room without compromising Christ? • How does the Savior teach us to sit with others—not above them, not apart from them? • What does true belonging feel like in the kingdom of God?This episode is for anyone who wants to follow Jesus more faithfully in a complex world—by learning to love better, listen deeper, and create spaces where hearts can safely be taught by Him.✨ No one sits alone. And with Christ, no one has to feel unsafe pulling up a chair.
