Two Bridal Stores, Two Weeks Apart, One Sales Lesson That Changes Everything
I took my daughter wedding dress shopping at two different stores. Same dresses. Similar prices. Completely different experience. One was so-so, the other was magical. That's what we're breaking down today — and more importantly, how you build that exact experience for the women you're trying to reach. In this episode, we cover the specific internal lie your customer is living inside that keeps the business or life she wants just out of reach, and why naming it changes everything. We cover the four language signals you're already sending before you ever show a product or quote a price — signals that are telling the women you want to attract whether this is designed for someone like them or inadvertently pushing them away. This isn't about a better script. This is about experiencing sales in a completely new way. The Real Reason She Said "Let Me Think About It"
You did everything right. The conversation was warm, she was nodding, she even said "this is exactly what I've been looking for." And then you said the price — and something shifted. Here's the truth most people will never tell you: she decided before you finished the sentence. And it wasn't about the number (hint: it had something to do with your nervous system). In this episode, Gen breaks down co-regulation — the silent conversation happening between two nervous systems — and why your customer feels your hesitation long before she hears your words. Most people don't need a better script. They need to do the nervous system work. That's what we unpack inside this episode. Silence Isn't No: Why Quiet Is Your Cue to Lead
You're following the system. The conversations are great. The signals are all there—and then, nothing. She goes quiet. So you tell yourself a story. She didn't want it. It's their loss. I'm not going to waste my time. And just like that, you close a door that was still wide open. In this episode, I'm reframing everything you think silence means. Because quiet is not no. No response is not no. Silence is not a verdict—and it's almost never what you think it is. I'll walk you through what's actually happening when a prospect (or a team member) goes quiet, the three things that silence is really telling you, and why the answer is never another script or a "just checking in" message. We'll get into the difference between interested and ready, why your reach-out should be one of six or seven conversations and not a single shot, and the real reason most women don't lean in when things go quiet. Here's the truth: this isn't a tactics problem. It's a self-worth problem. And that's actually the best news, because it's completely fixable. When you stop tying your worth to a response, you can hold steady, stay objective, and offer perspective when she's too close to her own fear to see clearly. That's leadership. That's what makes selling feel like you again. How to Become the Leader She Never Had
This episode is for two types of women. The first learned (maybe from a mentor, an upline, or a manager) that keeping herself small was the price of belonging. The second picked up a framework she didn't consciously choose: a framework about who deserves her belief, her time, her investment. In this episode, we go deep on something I see in nearly every high-performing woman I coach: the invisible damage left by narcissistic leadership. We're talking about the "temperature shift," the "scarcity spotlight," "selective celebration," and how authority over belief quietly reshapes an entire team culture — without anyone ever saying a word about it. If you haven't listened to last week's episode on self-worth vs. self-esteem, start there first. It's the foundation for everything we cover here. The Hidden Self-Esteem Problem Keeping High-Achieving Women Stuck
Most high-achieving women don't have a self-worth problem. They have a self-esteem problem — and nobody's talking about the difference. Self-esteem is conditional. Self-worth is the unconditional belief that you have value regardless of what the scoreboard says. In this episode, Genevieve breaks down the three places this shows up for high performers. She also shares the story of working under a boss whose own insecurity required her to dim her light — and how that adaptation followed her. If you're a leader, listen twice. Once for yourself. Once for the women on your team who are learning what they're allowed to want by watching you. From Skeptic to Six Figures: How I Almost Missed the Business That Changed My Life
What happens when a successful corporate woman — six-figure income, Fortune 500 clients, boutique training company — ends up hospitalized for 10 days with a newborn at home, and realizes she's more worried about not being billable than about her own health? That's where Genevieve Skory's story begins. In this episode, Gen shares the origin story she's never told in full. Topics covered: Why high-achieving women hit the "is it worth it?" wallThe real reason Gen's six-figure business wasn't workingWhat she saw at that training event that changed everythingThe math that made her finally take network marketing seriouslyHow she went from skeptic to top-level earner — and what she teaches now RESOURCESFind out what the 8 mistakes most network marketers make, and how to fix them for good.https://www.skool.com/network-marketing-academy-7884/about Subscribe to my newsletter, The Shift (real talk that gets real results).https://newsletter.gskory.com/ Need help now? Why You're Losing Business Builders Before They Ever Say Yes
If you've ever wondered why people watch everything you do and still never join your team, this episode is going to hit different. Genevieve breaks down the two biggest mistakes network marketers make when trying to attract business builders, and neither one is about posting more or working harder. You'll find out why the people most likely to join your team aren't the ones engaging with your content — and what they're quietly deciding every time they see you show up. You'll also find out why the most duplicatable thing you can do has nothing to do with your script, your system, or your upline's strategy. If you're tired of getting people started only to have them ghost you 30 days later, there's a reason for that too — and it's fixable. This is the conversation most people in network marketing never had, and it's the one that changes everything. Ready to build differently? Sugar, Fiber, and Grit: What This CEO Wants You to Know About Your Health
What does it take to build something from nothing when no one believed in you from the start? Audrey Sommerfeld — CEO and founder of Jump2Health — grew up in a town of 200 people, was the first in her family to go to college, and was told women didn't need to. She was born with physical challenges, spent years in braces, and faced one of the lowest moments a person can face. She got back up. In this episode, Audrey shares what actually fueled her — and what she's learned after decades in corporate nutrition, pharma, and now running her own health company — about what most of us are getting wrong with our health every single day. In this episode: Why sugar is your number one health enemy — and how much you're eating without knowing it The fiber gap most Americans don't know they have (and what to do about it) Why supplements can help, but can't save you from a bad diet The three things Audrey says separate successful entrepreneurs from everyone else Her philosophy on hearing "no" — and why it almost never means what you think Audrey's mission is simple: help people reclaim their health through education, real ingredients, and small sustainable steps.
