Over a year ago my mother lost the ability to walk. I had already left my corporate job to coach full time. There was no going back. No safety net. No plan B. Let me ask you something before you hit play. What does your LinkedIn headline say right now? I want to tell you about the day a man yelled "don't get upset" at me while I was sitting completely calm asking straightforward questions in a soft voice about my own termination. I was not upset. I have four coaching certifications. A health coaching certification from IIN and a stress management certification (and a couple other ones) I got because I was convinced I needed more credentials before I could really help people. For years I asked my church to build a website. I was a licensed minister in the AME Church and I could see exactly what was coming.
