The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant teaches that forgiveness is not merely an occasional act but a way of life for those who follow Christ. Thought Jesus' parable in Matthew 18, we are challenged to extend the same mercy we've received from God, refusing to let bitterness and revenge shape our hearts. True freedom is found when we choose forgiveness, remembering that God's grace toward us is the foundation for how we treat others.

The Parable of the Lost Son reveals the Father's heart by showing that no one is beyond God's love, grace, and forgiveness when they repent and turn to Him. Jesus teaches that forgiveness requires humility, compassion, and a willingness to extend the same mercy we have received from God. Believers are called forgive others and celebrate God's redeeming work in every life.

God plants seeds, NOT TREES! The Parable of the Mustard Seed reminds believers of the careful process of intentional planting in the kingdom of God. God often starts with small moments of surrender that later turn into impactful moments, producing purposeful fruit!

The Parable of the Talents ultimately points to the importance of faithfully stewarding the people and opportunities God has entrusted to us, not merely money or productivity. Jesus calls believers to reflect the heart of a loving Master by serving and caring for others, especially "the least of these". True faithfulness is measured by how we love, encourage, and invest in people for the sake of God's kingdom.

Jesus' parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price teach that the Kingdom of God is worth more than anything else we possess. Through Matthew 13:44–46, we learn that Kingdom people joyfully surrender lesser things because they have discovered something of far greater value. This challenges us to examine what we truly treasure and how our thoughts, priorities, and actions reveal what matters most. Ultimately, we are reminded that through Christ we have received a treasure so great that even the prophets longed to see it and the angels marvel at it.

Matthew 7:24-29 contrasts the wise man and the foolish man to show that the true difference between people is not hearing Jesus' words, but obeying them. It emphasizes that outward appearances and religious activity cannot replace a solid spiritual foundation built on surrender to Christ and His authority. Through the image of storms testing both houses, we are reminded that life's trials and final judgment will reveal whether their lives are truly grounded in obedience to Jesus.

In the Parable of the Wheat and Tares, Jesus teaches that both good and evil will exist together until the final judgment. The sermon reminds believers that good seed produces good fruit, evil seed produces evil fruit, and God alone will judge rightly in His timing. Christians are called to trust God, remain patient, and continue faithfully following Him until His Kingdom is fully revealed.

In part 5 of the "Skeptics Welcome" series, Pastor Marc tackled the question of whether God exists, anchored in Romans 1:19-20; arguing that God's existence is evident through creation itself. Just take a look at some converging arguments — including the fine-tuning of the universe's physical constants, the existence of consciousness and objective morality, the universality of religious belief across cultures, and humanity's innate longing for the transcendent.

Have you ever had questions for the Lord? Questions like, "Why does suffering and evil exist?" do not scare God! In fact, He welcomes questions and provides answers. He even promises to walk through suffering with us and give us a peace that passes understanding.

The Bible is not afraid of your questions! Empires have tried to destroy it and philosophers have tried to disprove it. Scientists have even tried to replace it. Yet, the word of God is still here, increasingly being confirmed!

What will it take for you to follow Jesus? More proof? His confirmation in the sky? Some people say they will only believe in Jesus if He came down to them himself and..... HE DID! God has revealed himself in so many ways to show us His glory! For you to believe and trust Him fully, what will it take?

When we have more doubts and questions than answers, the anchor of God's Word gives us assurance. The confidence in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection empowers the Bride of Christ to walk in freedom and live in holiness!

Choose ye this day whom you will serve! Just like the Romans, we are faced with the same choice. Will you serve Jesus as the Lord? It's really easy to shout "Hosanna" in times of celebration, but will you choose to serve the Lord in seasons of difficulty?

Through Jesus' triumphant entry, He sheds light on the people's heart posture. Although they are waving palm branches and welcoming Jesus into the city, Jesus knows their heart posture in wanting a dominating leader to conquer the Roman rulers. Essentially, the people in Matthew chapter 21 are faced with the same question as we are today.......will you worship and serve the Jesus you've crafted in your mind or the true King Jesus?

Resist the temptation to conform to the world! To be transformed from the inside out means to look more like Christ. To look more like Christ means as believers we will look less like the world. We are guaranteed a counter-cultural life! Yet, since Jesus is who He says He is, we know He can be trusted and every promise is set in stone. With Jesus, we don't fight for victory; instead we fight from victory! What would you attempt to do if you knew your success was guaranteed?

Whether you are single or married, you have the daily opportunity to display the love of Christ to everyone you meet. Singles honor God by praying specific prayers and seeking the will of the Lord. While those within a marriage covenant reflect Christ's love for His church, as they walk in obedience to Ephesians 5.

Within the marriage covenant, two people become one in every way. But what happens when the two individuals still act on their own selfishness within covenant? The security, honesty, and healing is jepardized inside of what was designed to be a place of refuge. 

Be careful which voices you listen to! As 1 John 4 encourages us, test the spirit to see if the counsel you are receiving is from the Lord. Knowing the difference between the voice of the enemy and the voice of your allies is key. The voice of an ally will help you master sin before sin masters you! 

How will you respond if your life doesn't progress like you hoped? How will you respond to trials and even tragedy? Both of these questions draw out the heart of the believer and where their true faith and hope rests. If you never achieved one more thing, would you be satisfied with Christ and where he has brought you?

Over the past 10 years, the Lord has shown His favor towards His church. We have seen miracles, baptisms, and so much more! As time progresses, we will continue to strive to be the church of Acts 2:42; devoting ourselves to the teaching of scripture, fellowship, commuion, and prayer! 

In Matthew 22, Jesus shares the two greatest commandments: (1) Love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and (2) Love others as ourselves. How do you know you're committed to loving God? When you delight in serving the Lord, our desire to please Him in word and deed continues to deepen. We begin to grow in Christ-like love towards His people. We can't help but share his love with others!      

You need "Rooftop" friends! As the Lord leads you, you need to be surrounded by friends who  encourage, correct, and help you get into the presence of Jesus! Just like the friends of the paralyzed man in Mark chapter 2, be a friend that gets people to Jesus by any means necessary. 

Everyday, human beings find new things to be worried about! Whether it be finances, relationships, or even the future, we have a constant internal battle for control of timelines and outcomes. Matthew would remind us in chapter 6 that God has promised provision for every need to believers who simply surrender control and seek the kingdom of God first!

BE CAREFUL! Honor is rare when familiarity is high. When we become all too familiar with Jesus, we are blind to who Jesus truly is and to his mighty hand moving!

In John 15:11, Jesus' purpose for sharing His words of life is for every believer to obtain FULLNESS of joy! Not a fleeting happiness or some kind seasonal contentment, but a lasting joy that doesn't come from our circumstances. This is a joy that peacefully rests completely in the hope of Jesus Christ!

In the midst of all the chaos, King Jesus comes to provide a peace that goes beyond human understanding to guard our hearts. Will you make room for peace? Where there is a temptation to store vengeance, conflict, and offense, choose to allow the Lord to fill your heart with peace and allow it to determine every thought, word, and deed.

"Other men see only a hopeless end, but the Christian rejoices in an endless hope."- Gilbert M. Beeken As followers of Christ, we have a hope that is both present AND future; going beyond the grave. If all you have is hope in God, you have all you need and more in this life!

Suit Up and Boot Up! In Ephesians 6, Paul implores every believer to stand against all manner of evil. Often times as followers of Christ, we can think we have the strength to fight the flesh and the wickedness around us. Yet, it is only through putting on the full armor of God that we receive the strength and power to fight!

Are you being protected by the full armor of God?! In the beginning of Ephesians 6, Paul says it is not enough to stand firm against all evil. In a world filled with deception and wickedness, we must also daily pursue truth and righteousness in the fight for peace!

When we choose to follow Jesus, we choose to follow Him into battle. The constant battle between flesh and spirit will either create an opportunity to lean on God's strength or discourage and completely debilitate us. Paul suggests that the only way to stand firm in the battle is by putting on the whole armor of God. Are you ready for battle?!

Scripture says "to know good and not do it is a sin" (James 4:17), but what do you do when your flesh is weak?! How do you combat the urge to satisfy fleshly desires? In Romans 12, Paul would say a key component is being fervent or passionate in spirit; relying fully on the power of the Holy Spirit in the face of temptation!

In Paul's writings to the church at Ephesus, he deals with relationships of all kinds. In chapter 6, he points the believer to God's relationship to man. Paul encourages every believer to recognize God's care and plan even in the mundane things. Thought obedience to God, service to others, and leadership, God longs for us to not only be good stewards, but also to love like Jesus!

Paul addresses the relationship between child and parent in Ephesians 6:1-4. How do you raise your child up in the nurture and the admonition of the Lord? Well, Paul would say there are responsibilities for both the child and the parent. Children have an obligation to obey their parents. Yet, the parents are called to love, lead, and make disciples!

In Ephesians 5:28-33, Paul emphasizes the importance of marriage and how to love your spouse as Christ loves the church. Pastor Marc points out many main ideas from this passage including: the self denial and serving within marriage, God's original design for intimacy, the reflection of Christ and His church within marriage, the gift of marriage, and the love of God on display inside of marriage.

In Ephesians 5, Paul lays out the biblical framework for the relationships we have here on earth. In verses 25-30, Paul encourages husbands love your wives as Christ loves the church! Loving your spouse sacrificially and beneficially creates a beautiful connection and intimacy that reflects the love Christ has for his bride, the church.

Paul fleshes out the biblical instructions for relationships in his letter to the church at Ephesus. In today's culture, the western world will find the instructions for wives to be offensive; while the non-western world will find instructions for husbands to be offensive. Paul begins with the instructions for the wife in Ephesians 5:22-33 encouraging wives to submit to their husbands as their husbands submit to Christ.

WATCH YOUR STEP! In Ephesians 5:15-21, Paul encourages every believer to watch how he walks in the light. A believer's walk is a testimony used to share the gospel AND an avenue to connect to the body of Christ! Whether it's in singing, thanksgiving, or surrender, the body of Christ is strengthened when it unites under one sound!

Michelangelo once said the sculpture was already inside the marble, he just had to chisel away what didn't belong. In Ephesians 5:11-14, Paul says our lives are meant to do the same thing: reveal what's real by exposing the emptiness of darkness. When we walk in the light, our lives become evidence that God's way is better, drawing others to Him.

We live in a world full of competing voices, narratives, and agendas and one of the hardest things we face is knowing what's actually true. Ephesians 5 reminds us not to be deceived by empty words but to walk as children of light, pursuing what is good, right, and true. This message calls you to examine what you believe, where your influences come from, and whether your life lines up with God's truth. So let's learn practical ways to discern what pleases the Lord, test what you hear against Scripture, and keep your focus on Jesus.

In Ephesians 5:1-5, Paul shows us the truth about love and exposes the lies we've been told. Love is not just words, not just a feeling, and it's far from meaningless. Real love is the foundation of salvation, the very nature of God, and a calling for every believer. True love is expressed through action, sacrifice, and holiness. When love is reduced to selfishness or sexual desire, it loses intimacy and destroys relationships. Instead, we are called to walk in love as Christ loved us, offering ourselves for others and living with kindness, purity, and faithfulness. This is an invitation to reject the lies, embrace God's design for love, and live it out in a way that transforms your home, your relationships, and your future.

Naaman was a powerful man who had everything, except healing. His pride nearly cost him the simple cure God offered through the prophet Elisha. In contrast, a young servant girl and later a Samaritan woman at the well remind us that God works through humility, faith, and unexpected people. While our culture and even our own hearts often push us to distrust or dismiss others, Jesus calls us to see people as a harvest ready to be reached. Salvation is simple, but it requires surrender. This sermon challenges us to lay down pride, embrace humility, and see others the way Jesus does, no matter who they are.

Forgiveness is not a suggestion but rather it's a command and a mark of discipleship. When we put away anger, bitterness, and wrath, we make room for kindness, tenderheartedness, and true forgiveness. Forgiveness is intentional, costly, and countercultural, yet it is the very way we imitate Christ, who loved us and gave Himself up for us. Drawing from Ephesians 4, this message will challenge you to resist revenge, release bitterness, and embrace forgiveness as the pathway to freedom and spiritual maturity.

Ephesians 4:25-32 shows why anger isn't just an emotional flare-up but is a spiritual issue that can oppose the work God is doing in us. Scripture calls us to be angry and not sin, but also warns that unresolved anger gives the devil a foothold, grieves the Holy Spirit, and shifts our focus away from God. We'll look at how anger grows from bitterness in the heart, to verbal outbursts, to slander and why bitterness and love cannot coexist. You'll be challenged to let go of wrath, choose forgiveness, and allow kindness and tenderheartedness to flow from a heart transformed by Christ's forgiveness.

Have you ever felt stuck in your walk with God? In Ephesians 4:14-20, Paul gives us three clear steps for moving from spiritual infancy to maturity: Don't fall for false teaching; Speak the truth in love; Live the truth out daily. Spiritual growth doesn't happen by accident and believers must learn how to guard against deception, build each other up in faith, and live in a way that reflects Jesus in a world that desperately needs Him.

Ever wondered how something as massive as a tunnel or business is built and maintained? The Church is even more remarkable—and God has a plan for how it grows. In Ephesians 4:7-14, Paul shows us that God has gifted every believer for a purpose, equipped the Church with leaders to train us, and called us to grow into maturity together. You've been gifted to build. You've been equipped to serve. And you've been called to grow.

What does it really mean to "walk worthy" of our calling as followers of Jesus? In Ephesians 4:1-6, Paul reminds us that Christian unity isn't just a nice idea, it's essential to our faith. In a world full of division, this message calls us back to humility, patience, love, and a shared identity in Christ. If you've ever struggled with conflict, pride, or feeling disconnected in community, this message is for you. Let's rediscover what it means to be one body, with one Lord, one faith, and one God over all.

What would you pray for if you knew God would say yes? In Ephesians 3:14-21, Paul prays not for external fixes but for inner strength, Christ dwelling in our hearts, and being rooted in love. True faith leads us to know His love that transforms us beyond what we can imagine. Prayer isn't just asking for things—it's connecting with a God who can do far more than we ask or think. Join us as we learn to pray for real change in us.

What's the secret to real boldness? Closeness to God. Ephesians 3:11-15 says we have boldness and access with confidence in Christ. The closer we are to God, the bolder we become—in prayer, speech, and action. Don't lose heart when culture pushes back. Instead, focus on what God is doing in you. Paul's answer? Pray. Bow before the Father with faith and humility. Where does your confidence truly lie? Let's get bold in Christ.
