Self Care: Let's Get Practical
It is without question that the center of our faith as Christians is to care for others. However, caring for yourself is equally important. If God Himself took the seventh day to rest and Jesus often secluded Himself to recharge, why can't you? No matter your stage in life, I hope this episode will be a reminder that you are worthy of rest and self-care. Tune in to find out how to do that practically.Joy Robbins is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor and enjoys mentoring the next generation of providers. Joy received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Wake Forest University, her Master of Arts in Counseling from UNC Charlotte and is currently a doctoral student in the Counselor Education and Supervision Program at UNC-Charlotte.

Breaking the Fear of Success
The fear of success holds us back from taking leaps of faith into the next season of life. We all have goals that we've convinced ourselves to forget about or that we'll get to later. I think we know how quickly later can turn into weeks, months, years and ultimately, never. So, if you relate, then this is the episode for you! 💛 Shana Price is the CEO/Founder of The Connection Guru, LLC®, a boutique networking consulting firm in the Carolinas. Self Esteem Through God’s Eyes
Self-esteem is a tricky thing to master, especially if you've experienced some traumatic events that skewed your perception about yourself and others. Repair of one's self esteem is 100% possible, it just takes a willingness to lean into the healing journey that God wants to take us through. 💛 Princess Veasley is the host of the "Girl, Let's Talk" podcast and an author, speaker and encourager. After years of basing her worth and identity in a romantic relationship, Princess lost sight of her true worth and identity in Christ. However, she was able to turn things around and use her experience to help other women understand their worth and live a life of freedom without compromise.

Forgiveness of Self and Others
We struggle with the idea of forgiveness because we assume that it means condoning the actions of others. However, forgiveness simply means releasing the idea that holding on to an offense will somehow vindicate or protect you--but it won't. In fact, forgiveness can equip you with a better understanding of yourself and others in order to approach scenarios with wisdom rather than fear. Fighting Fair
Can you believe we are at the final episode for S4? On this week’s episode, we’re talking about the idea of fighting fair. We all have a memory in the back of our minds of an argument that got way out of hand, and only to look back and realize how silly it was in the first place. But that’s what happens when we allow our emotions to get ahead of the true objective in a disagreement and that is understanding and a possible solution. Claudeen Seal (@modelforchrist) is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health. She is married with three kids. She decided to pursue her Master’s in Clinical Mental health because of her own family history of mental illness. She’s learned that in order to change our world; we must learn to better ourselves, build healthy relationships within our families, communities, and in our country. The best way to do that is to walk the walk and not just talk about it as believers in Jesus Christ. Hence, Model for Christ was formed to live out her journey as a believer and to encourage others as we run this race called life. You are worthy. You are blessed. You are loved.™️💛💛💛 Claudeen's Information: Instagram: @modelforchrist Tearapy Recovery Information: Website: www.tearapyrecovery.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/tearapyrecovery YouTube: www.youtube.com/tearapyrecovery LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/tearapyrecoveryllc Disclaimer: This page and any related platforms are strictly for educational purposes and awareness. Manhood and Vulnerability
The topic of vulnerability is so essential in the discussion of wellness and mental health as it is often seen as on of the primary keys to unlock the door of healing. Both men and women have a fair share of obstacles that prohibit us from tapping into this powerful tool. For this episode, Jevon will join us for a conversation on Vulnerability and Manhood. We explore the reasons why some men struggle with releasing emotions, how that manifests in their behavior and tools to begin that pathway to healing. Jevon is an Army Veteran, certified mindset in perception coach, and the founder of Live Not Loathe, LLC. He has overcome adversity, depression, and PTSD to earn multiple certification recognized throughout the coaching community and an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith Business School and has an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Fordham University.
