Coach Kaitlyn signed up for HYROX because her best friend since high school asked her to, and now they are competing together as HYROX mixed doubles partners.In this episode Kaitlyn gets honest about what it feels like to train for something completely outside your comfort zone, the nerves, the excitement, and the part she is most worried about. Spoiler: it is the running. She has never been a runner, does not love running, and HYROX has a whole lot of it.But she loves having something to train for and a goal to reach for, pushing herself to be uncomfortable, and going into battle with her best friend by her side.This one is for anyone who has ever needed someone else to push them into doing the hard thing.About Coach Kaitlyn:Kaitlyn is a Senior Coach at Dynamic Strength and Conditioning in Nashua, NH. She holds an undergraduate degree in exercise science, her CFSC through Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning, and is currently completing her master's degree in exercise science. She is also, as of recently, a HYROX mixed doubles competitor with her best friend from high school by her side.

He is a HYROX competitor who believes that fitness has to fit your real life, not the other way around. He is also, as of very recently, a completely smitten new dad.
