EP: 12. Rewiring your Mind with Rafa Tadielo
Why do we keep falling back into the same habits… even when we know what to do? In this powerful conversation, I’m joined by Life Coach and Hypnotherapist Rafa Tadielo to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface when it comes to behaviour change. We dive into how the subconscious mind shapes our daily choices, why willpower isn’t enough, and how deeply ingrained patterns can keep us stuck in cycles around food, health, and self-sabotage. Rafa shares practical insights into how hypnotherapy and mindset work can help rewire these patterns, allowing change to feel easier, more natural, and long-lasting. This episode is for you if you feel like: • You “know what to do” but can’t seem to stick to it • You’re constantly starting over • You want a deeper understanding of why change feels so hard • You’re ready to approach your health in a completely different way This is about changing the way your mind works with you, not against you. EP:11. Why Bloating is not about the Food!
Bloating is one of the most common concerns I hear, and often, it leads to cutting out more and more foods with little relief. In this episode, we shift the focus away from “what to avoid” and instead explore why your body is reacting in the first place. You’ll learn how bloating is often a sign of poor digestion rather than a specific food intolerance. We cover common triggers, but more importantly, the root causes — including low stomach acid, gut imbalances, stress, hormones, and slowed digestion. I also touch on: • The gut–stress connection and why your nervous system matters • Hormonal influences on bloating (especially for women) • Common gut conditions like IBS and SIBO • The link between constipation and bloating • Simple, practical ways to start supporting your gut If you feel like you’re reacting to everything you eat, this episode will help you understand why — and what you can start doing about it. Bloating isn’t random. It’s a message from your body. Tired all the time, even when you’re trying to do all the right things? We talk about the tiny powerhouses inside your cells (your mitochondria) and why they play such a crucial role in how energised, focused, and resilient you feel day to day. You’ll learn: Why fatigue isn’t always about sleep What’s really happening at a cellular level The signs your body is struggling to produce energy Simple, practical ways to support your energy naturally If you’ve been feeling flat, foggy, or like your body just isn’t bouncing back the way it used to, this episode will help you understand why — and what you can start doing about it. EP6: Clearing the Brain Fog
Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten why? Lost your words mid-sentence? Felt like your thoughts were moving through mud? In this episode, I’m breaking down one of the most common (and frustrating) symptoms I see in clinic - Brain fog. Brain fog is a signal that something in the body is out of balance. Whether it’s blood sugar crashes, chronic stress, hormonal shifts in perimenopause, nutrient deficiencies, gut issues, infections, poor sleep, or histamine overload… your brain is often the first place you feel it. In this episode, you’ll learn: • What brain fog is (and why it’s not “just in your head”) • The 8 most common root causes • How blood sugar, stress, hormones, and gut health impact mental clarity • The connection between sleep and cognitive performance • Practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies you can start immediately • Evidence-informed supplements that may support focus and clarity If you’ve been feeling forgetful, scattered, low in focus, or just “not yourself,” this episode will help you understand why, and more importantly, what you can do about it. You don’t have to accept brain fog as part of being busy, ageing, or overwhelmed. There are answers, and there are solutions. If this resonates, share it with someone who needs it, and if you’d like deeper support, The Whole Health Revolution is here for you. EP5: Let's Talk about Sleep!!
Sleep is one of the most powerful, and most overlooked foundations of good health. In this episode of The Whole Health Revolution, Rachelle unpacka why sleep impacts everything from energy, mood, hormones, and metabolism to cravings, weight, and long-term health. We explore what’s really happening in the body when sleep is disrupted, including the role of stress hormones, blood sugar instability, and perimenopause-related changes. I also talk through common (and often missed) sleep disruptors such as sleep apnoea, everyday habits that sabotage deep rest, and why waking at 2–3am is so common. You’ll learn practical, evidence-based strategies to support better sleep, including food choices, evening routines, lifestyle shifts, and supplements that can help calm the nervous system and support hormone balance. If sleep has been a struggle, or you wake feeling tired despite enough hours, this episode will help you understand why, and where to start making meaningful change. EP:4 Healthy Aging After 40!
This week, Rachelle reframes ageing as an active, lifestyle-led process rather than an inevitable decline. We unpack what actually changes in the body after 40, including muscle loss, bone density, brain health and insulin sensitivity, and why many of the issues we associate with ageing are not “just bad luck” or genetics. You’ll learn: • Why muscle is one of the most important organs for metabolic and brain health • The everyday habits that silently accelerate ageing, even if you feel “healthy” • How stress, poor sleep, ultra-processed foods and inactivity speed up biological ageing • The three key pillars of healthy ageing: movement, protein-rich nutrition, and targeted supplementation • Why resistance training, protein and creatine aren’t just for athletes, they’re longevity tools • What we can learn from the world’s longest-living populations (the Blue Zones), and how to apply those principles in modern life. This episode is about shifting the goal from simply “losing weight” to becoming stronger, more resilient, more mobile and more capable for decades to come. If you want to age with strength, clarity, independence and confidence, this conversation is for you. --- If you’d like to go deeper, you’re very welcome to join The Whole Health Revolution for one week free using the code FREEWEEK at www.naturalhealthproject.co.nz/weightlossprogram To contact Rachelle: [email protected] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/naturalhealthproject LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/naturalhealthproject/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/whole_health_revolution/ Your free week gives you access to over 35 private podcast episodes with live Q&A sessions, plus all program resources and tools. LAUNCH EPISODE: From Dieting to Real Health: The Story Behind The Whole Health Revolution
Welcome to the very first episode of The Whole Health Revolution Podcast. In this launch episode, I’m sharing my personal health journey and the real story behind why I do what I do today. From starting my first diet at just 11 years old, struggling with disordered eating in my teens, finding strength and confidence through powerlifting, and later stepping onto the bodybuilding stage, this episode explores the highs, the crashes, and the wake-up calls that ultimately led me to natural medicine. Despite looking “healthy” on the outside, I was dealing with chronic pain, depression, extreme fatigue, and eventually a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, all while unknowingly navigating perimenopause. After years of searching for answers, it was a visit to a student Naturopath that changed everything and reshaped my understanding of health. In this episode, you’ll hear: • how diet culture and body image shaped my early relationship with food • Why strength training became a turning point in my life • the physical and emotional cost of extreme dieting • What led me to study naturopathy and clinical nutrition • Why health must come before weight loss • and how this journey inspired the creation of The Whole Health Revolution If you’d like to join these calls live, ask questions, and receive personalised coaching, you’re very welcome inside the program.
