118 | From Running Away to Running the Room: Adrian Wegeng-Frank on Small Business and Self-Reclamation [Meet the Babes Series]

Some women find their way back to themselves slowly, quietly, one honest decision at a time. Adrian Wigging Frank is one of them. She grew up learning to fight for herself and run when she needed to, and that running eventually took her somewhere she never expected: college athletics, marathon training, an Olympic dream, and then a blown Achilles that redirected everything. From there she built a career in personal training and gym management across LA, Denver, and eventually Durango, where she founded Yo Fitness and created something completely her own. But the studio was only part of the story. The other part was the deeper, quieter, more personal work she did on herself. Through Human Design, Gene Keys, relationship energetics, and some really honest reckoning with what she needed versus what she'd been settling for. She came out the other side of a difficult marriage, a difficult divorce, and a difficult chapter with a team she loves, a business that's thriving, and a life that finally feels like hers. That's the story we're telling today. What we're covering: Adrian's origin story -- growing up in Missouri, learning to protect herself, and how survival instinct became athletic drive that almost took her to the Olympics The pivot she didn't choose when her Achilles blew out, and how that redirection eventually led her to founding Yo! Fitness in Durango Being a 2/4 Emotional Projector and the Human Design and Gene Keys work that gave language to experiences she'd been living but couldn't fully articulate The coaching work we did together around relationship energetics, self-responsibility, and what it looks like to come home to yourself inside a relationship that ultimately couldn't grow with her How she knows now that the divorce was a win, and what her life and business look like on the other side of choosing herself completely Reclamation doesn't happen in one moment. It happens in every brave, honest choice to stop settling and start living as the woman you actually are. 📣 Connect with Adrian Wigging Frank: Yo! 117 | From Alaska Wilderness to Peak Performance: Bethany Gleason on Strength Coaching, Small Business, and Saying Yes to Yourself [Meet The Babes Series]

Some people spend years looking for the thing that finally puts all their pieces together. Bethany Gleason spent years doing it in reverse by saying YES to one challenging, slightly unexpected, thoroughly outside-her-comfort-zone experience after another, and trusting that the thread connecting all of it would eventually become clear. Like saying YES to a semester in Alaska of glacial mountaineering and sea kayaking. Yes to leaving volleyball behind to protect her mental health. Yes to becoming an arborist with her brother, where she met her husband! Yes to Durango, to the Adaptive Sports Association, to local High School, to a strength and conditioning certification, and yes to starting her own business, Peak Performance Durango; the vessel that brings everything she's learned about the human body, challenge, and growth into one place. This episode is for every woman sitting on a YES she hasn't said out loud yet. Bc Bethany's story is a masterclass in what happens when you keep saying yes to yourself even when you have no idea where it's taking you. What we're covering: Bethany's journey from Michigan volleyball courts to the Alaskan wilderness to the weight rooms of Durango, and the thread of challenge and growth that connects all of it How she found her way to strength coaching, what finally made everything click, and what she's building with Peak Performance Durango The gap she noticed in her community that nobody was filling, and why she decided she was the one to fill it What happened when she said yes to the Unshakable workshop, identified what was holding her back, and went home and built her business Instagram page that same week Her experience inside Babes Before Business and what genuine community and accountability have meant for her as she builds Bethany's parting message says it all: saying yes to yourself matters. And surrounding yourself with people who do the same? That's where everything changes. 📣 Connect with Bethany Gleason: Peak Performance Durango 📣 If you're a Durango Female Founder, join Babes Before Business!  Where relationships are the root to help you business blow up! 116 | Changing Communities One Invitation at a Time: Tiffany Chacon on Food Equity, Childcare Access, and Justice for Minority Communities [Meet the Babes Series]

The work Tiffany Chacon is doing in Southwest Colorado and beyond is the kind that quietly changes the shape of things for entire communities. Food equity. Childcare access. Equality and justice for Latin-X and low-income families. She's been building toward this her whole career as a strategic partnership consultant, a non-profit employee, and a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses running at once, and she does all of it while raising twins, showing up for her marriage, and continuing to learn what it means to live fully inside her design as a 6/2 emotional projector. This episode of the Meet the Babes series is one of those conversations that covers a lot of ground and somehow still feels like it only scratched the surface. What makes Tiffany's story so compelling is much more than just the scale of what she's building. It's the way she's building it. Rooted in her design, led by invitation, and completely unwilling to rush a move before the timing is right. This conversation will have you thinking differently about the work you're doing, the invitations you're saying yes to, and what it really means to be in community with women who are out here changing things. What we're covering: The work Tiffany is doing locally, state-wide, and nationally in food equity, childcare access, and justice for Latin-X and low-income communities, and what drives her to keep going Her life as a serial entrepreneur, non-profit leader, and strategic partnership consultant, and what it actually looks like to run multiple things at once while raising twins in SW Colorado Her 6/2 emotional projector Human Design and what it's meant in practice to build a life and body of work around receiving the right invitations rather than forcing the door Gate 12, the wordsmith and gate of caution, and the self-recognition work she's done around trusting her timing, holding things close until the moment is right, and releasing the shame around it Her podcast Nature to Nurture and the work she's doing to support overwhelmed parents through nervous system regulation, nature-based rhythms, and real community What finding Babes Before Business has meant to her and what genuine community looks like when it's built on something real Tiffany is the kind of woman who makes you want to think bigger about what your work is actually for. 115 | The "Shit or Get Off the Pot" Moment: Holly Priestley on Van Life, Real Estate and Life on Her Own Terms as a Woman Entrepreneur [Meet The Babes Series]

One of the things I knew when I started building Babes Before Business was that the women who would find their way into this community would be the kind you want to know. With stories that make you lean in, lives that make you think differently about what's possible, and a way of moving through the world that's equal parts grounded and completely their own. Holly Priestley is exactly that kind of woman. She grew up in northern New Mexico, camping every school break, holiday, and spare weekend her family could find, she developed a relationship with freedom and adventure that would quietly shape every major decision she ever made. Including the one where she accidentally bought a house at 23, the one where she sold almost everything and moved into a van, and the one where she finally said ENOUGH circling; it's time to actually do this! This is the first episode in a new series where I'm sitting down with the women inside BBB to hear their stories, share who they are, and introduce you to the humans behind this community. Holly is the perfect place to start. What we're covering: Holly's upbringing in northern New Mexico growing up camping every break and holiday, being the middle child, and how a childhood spent constantly on the move shaped the woman she became How she accidentally bought a house at 23, why it turned out to be one of the best mistakes she ever made, and what it sparked in her The van life era: what exposed her to alternative living as an actual choice, and the real internal process behind her "shit or get off the pot" decision to go all in How she built a decade-long career in real estate alongside her work as a fractional marketing director, and what that dual path actually looks like day to day Her experience inside Babes Before Business and what it means to finally be in a room with women who genuinely get it Holly is the kind of human who makes you want to rethink the plan you've been following and ask yourself whether it was ever really yours to begin with. 📣 Connect with Holly Priestley: hollycpriestley.com IG: @hollycpriestley 📣 Join Babes Before Business: Real friendship comes first, and business success second. 114 | All Is Meant for You: Trusting the Timing Of Your Life (Even When It Breaks Your Heart)

There's a particular kind of hard that comes with believing everything is happening for you while also being in the thick of wishing it had gone differently. Trusting the timing sounds beautiful in theory, but it's a lot more complicated when you're sitting with a result you didn't want, a plan that didn't unfold the way you'd drawn it out, a heart that's grieving something it wanted so badly. This week brought one of those moments for Kaija. Something tender, something personal. But after she journaled on her porch, cried and was held by her community, and she knew it needed to be said out loud. Because surrender isn't the absence of grief. It's choosing to trust the bigger picture while still letting yourself be fully, completely human inside of it. What we're covering: How to hold deep trust and real grief at the same time -- without forcing yourself to skip the sadness or rush toward silver linings What surrender actually looks like when you're white-knuckling a timeline you were never meant to control Where your power lives when the outcome isn't yours to hold and how to pour your energy there intentionally Why having your people around you in the hard moments isn't a luxury, it's a lifeline You can trust the timing and still honor every tear along the way. Both get to be true. A gentle note: this episode touches on fertility and grief.   Love this episode?! 113 | Doing What's Best for You Is Doing What's Best for All: Boundaries and Self-Trust for Female Founders

You stayed quiet again. Maybe it was in a meeting, maybe it was on a massage table, maybe it was the text you typed and deleted three times before putting your phone down and just letting it go. And in that moment of swallowing it, you told yourself you were being considerate. Thoughtful. The bigger person. But what if the kindest thing you could have done -- for yourself AND for them -- was just to say the thing? This episode cracked that question wide open with two stories from Kaija's actual week. A massage table realization that she didn't even speak out loud in the moment (because yes, she does this too). And a friend who caught herself mid-yes, checked in with her body, and chose differently. Both of them landed in the same place: doing what's genuinely best for you doesn't take anything away from anyone else. Most of the time it actually gives everyone more. What we're covering: Where self-compromise is so automatic you don't even catch it happening -- and how to start noticing it in real time Why your honest truth, shared kindly, is actually a gift to the other person (not a burden) What your no creates space for -- and why the right yes can't show up until you stop blocking it How doing what's genuinely best for you ripples out and lifts everyone in the room You were never meant to shrink yourself to keep everyone else comfortable. That pattern stops today bc choosing you is how everyone wins!    Love this episode?! 112 | You Can't Ask For More And Shrink For Less: How to Stop Playing Small as a Woman Entrepreneur

A whole month! That's how long the answer was already there, waiting, while every other thing got the energy that decision deserved. Bc sitting in the in-between felt safer than committing to the yes. But that in-between costs way more than the investment ever did. This episode is the story of what actually happened. The fear underneath the indecision, the conversation that cracked something open, the business credit card that showed up, and then what happened the week she finally pushed play! Three women joined BBB, the podcast popped off, the money flowing right back, plus more! The universe blessing the yes in real time. Kaija's bringing you into the full messy, shaky, seeking-validation truth of this IRL, bc the gap between asking for more and shrinking for less is somewhere most of us are living, and nobody's talking about what it actually costs to stay there. What we're covering: What it really means to ask for more and shrink for less -- and where that contradiction is quietly draining you right now Why the in-between costs more than the decision ever will (and how to stop letting it steal your momentum) The 4-belief flip journaling practice that moves you from stuck to clear to actually doing the thing Why integrating something into your body and actions lands differently than just knowing it in your head -- and where the real spin-off blessings live Your yes is already inside you. This episode is about finally blessing it.   Mentioned in this episode: Babes Before Business (BBB) The community built for women who want besties AND business -- in that order. babesbeforebiz.com BBB IG Inbal Claudio inbalclaudio.com Inbal IG 10x Is Easier Than 2x by Dan Sullivan & Dr. Benjamin Hardy Grab the book here Love this episode?! 111 | Energy Doesn't Lie: How Trusting Your Inner Knowing Transforms The Way You Lead, Decide, and Build As A Female Founder

Every decision you've ever made.. the good ones, the ones you wish you could take back, the ones that changed everything.. your body knew the answer to first. Before the spreadsheet, before the advice, before the sleepless night running scenarios. There was a split second where something in you already had the answer. This episode is about learning to catch that moment before your mind talks you out of it. Your energy has been holding the answer the whole time. And here's the part that makes this even bigger than a decision-making tool: that energy isn't just yours. It's something way larger moving through you, guiding you toward the role you're actually here to play. When you follow it, you're not just serving yourself. The ripple goes way out beyond you. This one's short, practical, and a little cosmic✨ And it might be the simplest guidepost you've ever been handed. What we're covering: Why your energy registers the truth before your mind does -- and what's actually moving through you when it does Expansion and contraction as honest guideposts for every decision, season, and next right move Why it's not only okay but necessary for what feels expansive to shift as you evolve How to get quiet enough to feel it and brave enough to actually follow it Your energy is always talking. 110 | Half-Year Life & Systems Check-in: What's Working, What's Shifting, and What's Coming Next

Six months ago, Kaija sat down and made some commitments. Five systems, shared out loud on this podcast, with the intention of reclaiming energy, presence, and time. Today she's back to tell you exactly how that went -- the wins, the pivots, the things that stuck, and the things that didn't. And there's a lot more to catch up on than just the systems. Coaching her daughter's team. Playing volleyball and softball. Growing BBB. Showing up for networking events and the chamber. Trying to get pregnant. Living a full, beautiful, genuinely busy life while still pouring into this show twice a week. Something had to give, and Kaija's being completely honest about what that looks like going forward -- including a change to the podcast schedule that's less about pulling back and everything about showing up sustainably for the long game. This one dropped completely off the cuff. No notes, no outline, just a real conversation about the last six months and what the next six are shaping up to look like. What we're covering: The five systems from episode 67 -- a raw, honest six month report on what's actually been working Life updates across all the things: BBB, family, sports, community, and trying to grow it by one more little human Why Kaija is dropping to one episode per week -- and why that decision is a full-body yes What's coming in the next six months and why this season feels like the most aligned one yet Same mission. 109 | A Memorial Day Message for the Woman Behind It All

One life. That's what we've got. And on a day when we're honoring the people who gave everything -- their bodies, their families, their safety, their time -- it feels like exactly the right moment to ask yourself how much of yours you've been giving away too. To old stories. To other people's expectations. To a version of yourself that was never really you to begin with. She's in there. The real one. The bold, full-spectrum, utterly unleashed version of you who's been knocking on the door of your heart for a while now. This episode is the reminder she sent. What came through this weekend was big -- and it needed to be said out loud. About shadow states and how sneaky they are. About the difference between knowing who you are in your head and actually letting her live in your body. About you only getting one shot at this life, and what you're going to do with that. What we're covering: The three things standing between you and actually being her now -- and why remembering who you are goes way deeper than a journal prompt How shadow states show up subtly in your body, your energy, and the way you talk about your own life Richard Rudd on discerning the heart from the mind -- and why getting that order right changes everything What it looks like to make your highest, most authentic self-expression an actual non-negotiable starting today You've already manifested everything you've ever wanted. So what's next? Go way bigger than you've been allowing yourself to think. This episode will light that fire.   Resources Mentioned: Gene Keys Audio Library Gene Keys Book  Love this episode?! 108 | Connection Over Competition: How Female Founders Change the Culture of Women Entrepreneurship

Picture the room. A table full of women who actually get it -- the ambition AND the exhaustion, the vision AND the overwhelm, the deep drive to create something meaningful AND the equally deep desire to do stupid fun stuff with people who feel like home. Women who want to strategize AND laugh until something comes out of their nose. Women who are rooting for you so genuinely that your win feels like their win too. That room exists. And you've been craving it longer than you've probably let yourself admit. This episode came straight from the heart -- from a conversation about what it actually looks like to change the culture of women entrepreneurship from the inside out. Like how we pull back when we feel insecure. We shrink when we want to expand. We scroll past the woman we'd love to be friends with because comparison got there first. And all of it traces back to one thing: the very human need for love and belonging that every single one of us is walking around with, whether we're running a seven-figure business or just getting started. So let's talk about what shifts when we stop contracting and start actually showing up for each other. What we're covering: Why women entrepreneurs pull back from the exact rooms and relationships they need most -- and the love and belonging reframe that changes everything What it actually looks like to show up as the full spectrum woman you are -- the CEO and the hot mess, the fighter and the lover, all of it How real, consistent connection between female founders ripples out way beyond the room you're sitting in The culture of women entrepreneurship we're actively building together -- and how you get to be part of it We want the same things. Impact, income, real friendship, strategic conversation, and someone to do silly stuff with on the side. And the women you've been wanting in your corner? They've been looking for you too.   📣 Babes Before Business (BBB) is HERE!  A community built for the full spectrum woman who wants besties AND business -- in that order.  Join the Community Here! 107 | Busting the "Going All-In On Your Business" Myth: What It Actually Means for Female Founders

The "burn it all down, quit everything, leap and the net will appear" version of all in has been sold so hard for so long that a lot of us started believing our intentional, safety-first approach was actually a mindset problem. Well, it's not. And today we're busting that myth wide open! Building with a safety net is a strength- not a weakness like you've been sold. Neither is having another income stream while you grow your dream isn't a lack of belief. Protecting your kid's stability, your mental health, and your basic needs while you build something meaningful isn't "playing small". That's grown ass woman strategy, baby! And the noise telling you otherwise means it's time to get really good at filtering it out. This one's about putting your blinders up, getting quiet enough to hear your own signal, and deciding once and for all what all in looks like when YOU get to define it. What we're covering: The "all in" myth and who actually benefits from pushing it Why safety is the foundation of sustainable growth -- not evidence that you don't believe in yourself How to filter the noise and stop measuring your commitment against someone else's journey What your version of all in looks like when you give yourself full permission to define it Your dream doesn't require you to blow up your life to prove you believe in it. You get to build the way that's actually built to last.   Love this episode?! 106 | Mom Guilt Is Lying to You: Why Your Business Makes You a Better Mother

The guilt shows up right on cue. Laptop closes, kid needs you, and before you've even crossed the room that voice is already running its script.. "You chose work again". "You should've been more present." "A better mom wouldn't want this so badly." It's convincing. AND it has been telling you a story that was never actually yours to believe. What's actually happening while you're building is your kiddo is quietly absorbing what women do. What moms are capable of. Whether their own desires will matter someday. Whether ambition is something they can lean into, too! And every time you sit down and work on something that genuinely lights you up, you're writing the answer to those questions in real time, whether you realize it or not. This one's a permission slip, babe. We're going into the real origins of mom guilt, why it's conditioning dressed up as conscience, and what your kid is actually learning from watching you do this brave, intentional, meaningful thing you're building. What we're covering: Where mom guilt comes from and why it's been lying to you (and most of the women you know) Six ways your business is actively making you a better mother -- not in theory, in practice What your kid is absorbing every time they watch you work, follow through, and trust yourself The both/and reframe that gives you full permission to be a whole woman without choosing sides Your kid gets to grow up watching a mom who bet on herself, and that changes everything about who they believe they get to be! This is the mom guilt reframe every woman entrepreneur needs to hear right now.   Love this episode?! 105 | Are You Bad With Money or Just Not Making Enough? How Women Entrepreneurs Build Real Financial Freedom With Maggie Emerson

What if the story you've been telling yourself about being bad with money isn't even true? What if the real issue isn't how you handle money, but how much of it you're actually generating in the first place? That one reframe changed everything for today's guest, and I have a feeling it might do the same for you. Maggie Emerson of Beaucoup Babe went from broke single mom to money mentor, and she now helps women and business owners create and keep more wealth by doing two things most people never combine: the practical (data, systems, what the numbers are actually telling you) and the magical (your relationship to money, the energetics, the embodiment of who you want to be as a steward of wealth). This conversation is the perfect next layer on top of everything we've been unpacking in our last two money episodes, and Maggie brings a perspective that is equal parts grounding and activating. If money still feels like a loaded topic.. heavy with shame, confusion, or that low-grade guilt we talked about a couple episodes back, this one is going to give you so much relief. And a really good quiz to take after! What we're covering: Maggie's journey from broke single mom to money mentor and the exact reframe that removed her shame and changed her next steps How to take the drama out of your money story by looking at the actual data (and why that's the most liberating thing you can do) The difference between the practical and the magical when it comes to your finances and why you need both The 4 money archetypes and what yours reveals about how you relate to, spend, and receive money You are not bad with money! 104 | When Success Feels Scary: The Nervous System Response Keeping Women Entrepreneurs in Hustle Mode

Your business is working! Like, actually working. Money is moving, the systems are humming, and instead of popping champagne you're already scanning for the next problem to solve. The next strategy to add. The thing that must be broken even though nothing is broken. That feeling.. that itch to complicate what's flowing.. is more than "drive". It's your nervous system doing what it learned to do a long time ago -- running a stress response based on fear. This episode is a compliment conversation to the last episode around money energetics. We talked about safety, love versus fear, and the allocation system that changes how you spend. But there's a layer we didn't get to.. what happens when the work is actually paying off and your body still won't let you rest in it. I was listening to Jamie Sea's podcast and she named it so perfectly that I had to bring it here for you. If you've ever thought "it can't be this easy" or "did I even deserve this if I didn't work myself into the ground for it" -- this one is for you. What we're covering: Why success feeling easy triggers urgency instead of celebration (and what's actually going on underneath it) What ease in business actually means -- and why it has nothing to do with being lazy or uncommitted The stress response that keeps female founders running on adrenaline long after they need to Jamie Sea's three-step practice for when the urgency spiral shows up -- so you can pause, regulate, and let it work You didn't come out of the womb believing you had to hustle and grind to deserve good things. You learned that, which means you an UNlearn it. Ease is your birthright. It's time to let things work. Resources Mentioned: Jamie Sea Show Jamie Sea's IG Love this episode?! 103 | Financial Freedom Starts Here: How to Spend Without the Guilt Spiral as a Women Entrepreneur

You bought the thing. And then immediately, before you even got home, the spiral started. The mental math, the second-guessing, the low-grade shame sitting in your chest for the rest of the day. Sound familiar? Most women entrepreneurs know this feeling better than they'd like to admit -- and almost none of us talk about it out loud. The guilt isn't about the amount. A $6 coffee can wreck your whole afternoon just as fast as a $600 investment can. The spiral has nothing to do with the number on the receipt and everything to do with the energy you spent that money WITH and whether you actually feel safe having it in the first place. This episode is the one I wish someone had handed me years ago. We're going into the energetics of money, what it actually means to cultivate safety with it, and the allocation system that quietly changed everything about how I spend, save, and receive. No guilt spiral required. What we're covering: Why safety is the real foundation of your money relationship -- and how to start building it from the inside out The difference between spending from love and trust versus fear and lack (and how to tell which one is running the show) How to think about the longevity of a purchase instead of just the price tag -- and why that reframe is everything The allocation system that gives you total clarity so you can spend with ease and actually enjoy it Money doesn't have to feel heavy. You get to have a relationship with it that feels good even before you have as much as you want. Resources Mentioned: Profit First by Mike Michalowicz Relay Bank Love this episode?! 102 | How to Make Yourself More Valuable as a Female Founder (The Answer Might Surprise You)

There's something that happens when you walk into the right room. You feel it before anyone even says a word. The energy is different. The conversations go deeper faster. You leave more lit up than when you walked in, with a voice note list a mile long and two new women you can't wait to get coffee with. That feeling is so much more than a coincidence. That's deep energetic resonance. And it's one of the most valuable things you can cultivate as a woman building something. We spend so much time asking ourselves how to be more qualified, more credentialed, more skilled. And those matter, but they're not the whole picture. The rooms you choose to be in, the women you let into your orbit, the conversations you say yes to.. THAT'S where your next level actually lives. In connection. This is a short one today, but don't let the length fool you. What's inside might be the permission slip you didn't know you needed. What we're covering: Why your relationships are your most valuable business asset (and how to start treating them that way) The shift from collecting certifications to collecting genuine, meaningful connections What it actually looks like to put yourself in new rooms -- and why the right ones change everything The invitation to stop waiting and start choosing the people, communities, and conversations that honor who you're becoming Your next level of success is sitting across the table from someone you haven't met yet. 099 | Closing the Identity Gap: How Women Entrepreneurs Embody the Next Version of Themselves

She comes through in the shower. In the middle of a great conversation with a friend. In that gut feeling that says reach out to her or you don't want to work with this client anymore. That version of you -- the bold, intuitive, fully expressed one -- she's not quiet. She's been talking to you for a while now. The question is how much longer you're going to make her wait. This is Episode 99, the final piece of our mini-series before the big reveal in Episode 100. We've covered the energy leaks, the internal compass, the brave thing you've been avoiding. Today we're bringing it all together -- because all of that work points here. To the gap between who you say you are and who you're actually being. And more importantly, to what it looks like to start closing it now. Not someday. Now. What we're covering: The identity gap -- what it actually looks like in real life and why living there is so exhausting Specific examples of embodying her NOW (rep by rep, decision by decision, before it feels "ready") What becomes possible when you make your full self non-negotiable -- in your business, your relationships, and your bank account Why internal safety is the real foundation underneath all of it You don't become her someday. You practice her today, in this decision, in this moment. That's how the evidence builds.   📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast. 098 | You're Scared, Not Confused! What Avoidance Is Costing You as a Woman Entrepreneur

The advice you keep asking for? You already have the answer. Somewhere between "I don't know what to do" and the knowing that's already sitting underneath that -- there's usually not confusion. There's fear. And those are two very different things. We've gotten really good at seeking cover. Asking for opinions, commiserating about all the reasons something is hard, collecting perspectives like they're going to finally give us the clarity we're looking for. None of that is wrong, but if you're honest with yourself, you know when you're seeking clarity and when you're seeking permission to keep avoiding. The brave thing doesn't live in anyone else's answer. It lives in the one you've had all along. This is Episode 98, Part 3 of our mini-series building to Episode 100. We covered where you're leaking energy in Ep 96, and your internal compass in Ep 97. Today we're going into the place where those two things intersect -- the brave thing you've been circling, and what it's actually costing you every time you choose comfortable over honest. What we're covering: Why "I don't know what to do" is almost always fear in disguise (and what's actually underneath it) The real cost of avoidance: the self-trust you erode every single time you override your own knowing How self-abandonment ripples into your body, your business, and your relationships (and what opens up when you stop) Why clarity keeps slipping even after your biggest breakthroughs, and what actually makes it stick Every time you say yes to yourself, your whole world gets bigger. 097 | From Decision Fatigue to Clarity: The Self-Trust Tool Every Woman Entrepreneur Needs

There's a version of you who makes decisions without the mental gymnastics. She knows what she stands for, so when something crosses her desk or lands in her inbox, she can feel the answer immediately. Not because she's more confident or has it all figured out - but because she's clear on her internal compass. You've probably done values work before. Maybe you even listed your top five on a worksheet somewhere. But knowing your values and actually consulting them when you're spiraling at 3am are two completely different things. One is intellectual. The other is the lighthouse that brings you back to yourself when the storm hits. This is Episode 97, Part 2 of our mini-series building to Episode 100. Last week we talked about energy leaks. This week we're talking about the thing that stabilizes the center - your values as your fixed point. The compass that tells you if you're on course or drifting. What we're covering: The lighthouse analogy and why your values are your fixed point in the storm How to find your REAL values (not just the ones you think you should have) Why naming the threatened value stops the spiral in its tracks The gap between the values you say and the values you're living from When you know what you stand for, the 3am spiral loses its power, and YOU get your bandwidth back!   📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast. 096 | The Cost of Energy Leaks for Female Founders (And How To Plug Them)

You look good on paper. The business is running. The family is fed. You're showing up, doing the work, keeping everything moving. And... you're exhausted. The bone-deep kind that makes you wonder if this it's always going to be like this... but you know there's something bigger and deeper going on. A few years ago, I couldn't figure out why I was running on empty, too. Nothing catastrophic was happening. Just normal life. But I was drained all the time. Then I realized: I was abandoning myself in a hundred small moments every single day. Saying yes when I meant no. Softening the truth to keep people comfortable. Shape-shifting depending on who was in the room. Every single time, I was sending myself a message - you can wait. And my body heard it. This is Episode 96, the first in a mini-series building to something special I'm revealing in Episode 100! We're starting with energy leaks - the subtle ways you might be draining yourself without even realizing it. What we're covering: What an energy leak actually is (and how to spot it in real time) The Bullseye Framework: why everything starts with YOU at the center The real cost of the leak (energy, money, relationships, business) One thing to notice this week that will change everything Awareness is the first step, so let's find where you're leaking!   📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast.   Love this episode?! And every single question pulls you out of flow, fragments your attention, and reminds you that you're the household CEO even when you're trying to run your actual business. You love your family. You love being the leader. But you also know there's a better way - one where systems do the heavy lifting so you're not constantly on call to direct everyone. Where your mental bandwidth is freed up for the work that actually lights you up. Where your daughter learns responsibility and your partner knows what's happening without you having to manage every detail. This episode breaks down the three core systems I use in my household: a communication board that acts as our family cockpit, a jobs chart that teaches my daughter work ethic and money management, and a 4-jar system that's building her financial literacy from the ground up. These aren't just "mom hacks" - they're business tools that create the space you need to actually do your work. What we're covering: The communication board system (weekly schedule, meal plan, grocery list, to-dos - all in one visible place) Jobs chart for kids (daily responsibilities, paid jobs, invoice system, and why I call them "jobs" not "chores") 4-jar money management (spending, savings, investing, bills - teaching financial literacy early) Why implementing systems reduces resentment and creates equality in your household You're a small business owner who needs bandwidth to lead- not "just a mom" managing a household. These systems give you exactly that!   Love this episode?! 092 | My Favorite Manifestation Practice for Goal Setting as a Woman Entrepreneur

You want a manifestation practice that feels tangible. Something you can hold in your hands, read every morning, and feel yourself shift into the version of you who's already living it. You're tired of vision boards that sit in your closet and affirmations that feel hollow when you say them out loud. I found something that works differently. It's called a January Letter, and I've been doing it since the beginning of this year. Every single morning, I read mine. And I'm already watching things from it show up in real time - the opportunities, the clarity, the energy shifts. It combines specificity, emotion, repetition, and action in a way that actually wires your brain for what's possible. This episode breaks down how to create your own and use it to stay activated in the energy of what you're building. What we're covering: What a January Letter is and why it works (manifestation as energy activation, plus strategic action) The questions I answered to create mine (who you're becoming, what you built, the brave stuff, the feelings) A few powerful sections from my own January Letter How to write yours and use it daily to stay connected to your vision Your future self is already there. 090 | What Nobody Tells You About Years 3-5 in Business as a Women Entrepreneur

You're staring at the business you built with your own two hands, and while you're grateful for it... it feels like looking at someone else's life. The messaging doesn't sound like you anymore. The clients you used to love aren't lighting you up. And you're wondering if you somehow messed everything up. You haven't messed up anything. You're in the Identity Shift Zone - that messy middle phase between years 3-5 where everything that got you here stops working. A friend recently told me, "Everything in my life is falling apart that isn't aligned, and it sucks, and it's hard, but it's good." Bc the embodied truth of this process is that your business catching up to who you're becoming is SUPPOSED to feel uncomfortable. Today I'm breaking down the three phases of entrepreneurial evolution - the Selfish Phase where you prove you can do this, the Identity Shift Zone where misalignment falls away, and the Selfless Phase where you serve from overflow instead of proving your worth. What we're covering: Why years 1-3 are supposed to be "selfish" (and that's actually necessary) How authenticity and vulnerability beats a projected persona every time  The restabilization process: loss, discomfort, doubt, then emergence   📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast.   Love this episode?! 089 | Why Shadow Work is the Key to Success in Your Women-Owned Business

You can feel the breakthrough coming. You know your business can flow instead of feeling forced. You know success doesn't have to mean shape-shifting into someone you're not or white-knuckling your way through every launch. You can see it, sense it, almost touch it - but something keeps blocking the path forward. You've tried the strategies. You've pivoted. You've worked your ass off. And still, the same patterns keep repeating. The forcing. The performing. The exhaustion that comes from trying to make it all work instead of letting it work through you. Shadow work is the bridge between where you are and what you already know is possible. This episode breaks down the two shadows most common for female founders - Force and Superficiality - and the three-step process to transform them using the Gene Keys framework. From unconscious to conscious to embodied. What we're covering: Why your shadows run your life when you're not aware of them (and what that actually looks like in business) Gene Keys 34 and 20: Force and Superficiality, and how they show up for female entrepreneurs The path from shadow to gift to siddhi (and why this matters for your business) The 3-step contemplation process to release your gifts Your breakthrough isn't on the other side of another strategy. You've tried every time-blocking system. Every productivity hack. You wake up early, stay organized, batch your tasks. And you're still exhausted. Still behind. One of my clients said this to me last week: "Kaija, I'm just so tired of being so resourceful all the time and having to figure everything out and handle everything. It's sooooo exhausting! This episode breaks down what's actually draining you (spoiler: not your to-do list), why comparison keeps you stuck in overdrive, and how to create the peace and flow you're craving without your business falling apart. 086 | Reduce Decision Fatigue In Your Relationship (and Small Business) Using Your Core Values

Twenty minutes. Five core values. And suddenly the 35,000 decisions you're making every day become automatic🫰 Maybe it sounds too good to be true, but it happened in my own life after doing a values exercise with my counselor in 2020. Before that, I was in constant overwhelm, second-guessing decisions for days, feeling guilty every time I set a boundary, and carrying around this constant low-grade anxiety about whether I was doing the right thing. Now? Most decisions take seconds because I have an internal reference point that cuts through all the noise. MY VALUES! They filter out what doesn't belong before conditioning to please everyone even gets a vote. #winning This episode breaks down how values reduce cortisol, why they matter specifically for women entrepreneurs carrying 71% of the household mental load, and how understanding your partner's values can completely shift your relationship dynamic. 084 | Build Financial Freedom Through Service (Without Burning Out) with the Gene Keys Pearl Sphere & Pathway of Service

Here's what I've watched happen with nearly every woman I work with: She's been working SO hard to "fix" herself before she can really receive - the money, the freedom, the peace in her body. Like she has to heal this wound first, clear that pattern, get her life together, and then prosperity will show up. But what actually happens is the wound she's been trying to "overcome" is what's been fueling her most powerful work this whole time!! The thing she thought was blocking her from receiving has actually been the source of her calling. And all that effort trying to prove she's worthy of the harvest just keeps her from accessing what's already trying to flow to her. This is Part 4 of our Pearl Sequence series unpacking the Pathway of Service and your Pearl Sphere! We're talking about what opens up when you stop forcing your way to prosperity and start understanding how it actually flows. What we're covering: The solar torus and why giving and receiving happen at the same time How your deepest wound becomes your most creative fuel (without having to "fix" it first) The 6 lines of prosperity and how money wants to flow through you specifically The freedom you want, the financial peace, the business that actually supports your life all show up when you stop scrambling and remember how to let life pour back into you, just as you're pouring into it with your heart-led service.     📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast. Here's what changed everything for me: your fractal line. When the universe was born, it shattered into geometric patterns - and you're karmically designed to connect with specific people. Not everyone. Your people. And when you take bold action on your Vocation (from last episode), the universe reorganizes your Culture to bring them in. This is Part 2 of our Pearl Sequence series. Last episode we covered your Vocation - your wound becoming your calling. Today we're talking about how to actually MOVE on that calling (the Pathway of Initiative) and who you're designed to do it with (your Culture Sphere). What we're covering: The making fire principle: why initiative isn't about being ready, it's about being willing Your fractal line and why you're not meant to work with everyone The 6 ways to build community: Individual, Partnership, Unit, Network, Society, System Why some clients light you up and others drain you (it's energetic, not personal) If you've been stuck in your head overthinking instead of moving, or if you keep attracting the wrong people into your business - this episode will show you why.   📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast.     Love this episode?! 081 | How to Turn Your Deepest Calling Into Your Most Prosperous Work with the Gene Keys Vocation Sphere

You've been piecing it together - the calling, the business model, the income strategy. Trying to figure out how to make this thing you KNOW you're meant to do actually sustainable. And maybe you've noticed something: every time you try to follow someone else's blueprint, it feels... off. Like you're forcing yourself into a template that wasn't made for your body, your energy, your way of being. What if there's a reason for that? What if you're not meant to prosper the way they do? Your Gene Keys Pearl Sequence shows you exactly how YOU are uniquely designed to create prosperity. Not some cookie-cutter business model. YOUR design. And the part that can turn everything around for you is.. your deepest wound - the thing you've been trying to "fix" ab yourself is actually your most creative calling. It's not something to overcome before you can do your work. It IS the work, babe! Over the next four episodes, we're diving into the Pearl Sequence. Today we're starting with your Vocation Sphere - where your wound transforms into your calling - and the six different ways people are designed to prosper. Because when you try to force yourself into a different model, that's when business feels impossible. What we're covering: The difference between prosperity and wealth (and why one complicates your life while the other simplifies it) How your Core Wound becomes your Vocation (and why you don't have to "heal" it first) The 6 Line Expressions of the Vocation Sphere The Holy Grail Question that changes how you approach your entire business Why taking initiative is about making fire, not waiting until you're ready This is Part 1 of a 4-part series on the Pearl Sequence. If you've been searching for permission to stop copying someone else's strategy and start building something that actually honors YOUR design - this is it.   📣 Become a Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast. 080 | The Unconscious Pattern Behind Relationship Exhaustion (Reverse Polarity Explained)

My girl, I know you're the one planning, directing, initiating, controlling. While your partner tends to float, waiting to be told what to do, avoiding the deeper stuff. And that twist in your chest - part resentment, part exhaustion, part confusion.. is your nervous system screaming that something is off. When what you actually want is a partner who sees what needs to be done and just does it. Who initiates the hard conversations. The freedom to drop into your body and your flow without worrying everything will fall apart if you're not managing it all. You want to feel held, seen, heard and to rest without guilt. That gap between what you're experiencing and what you're craving? That's reverse polarity. The energetic roles in your relationship have flipped. You're locked in hyper-masculine mode while your partner operates in passive feminine energy. Neither of you chose this consciously, but this pattern is bleeding into your work, your body, your capacity to build anything sustainable. I learned about this from John Wineland, and it explained everythingggg. It's about seeing what's actually happening- not blame, so you can interrupt the pattern and create the partnership you're craving. What we're covering: What reverse polarity actually is (and why it's making you sick) The hyper-masculine trap: why you can't rest even when you're exhausted How your nervous systems communicate beneath your words What to actually do: awareness, nervous system devotion, boundaries that create safety Your resentment toward your partner? It might actually be toward yourself for not speaking up sooner. Your body is registering this as unsafe. And that ripples into everything. This conversation is tender but necessary. Let's go to the root.   📣 Become A Woman Behind It All Insider Get first access to new offerings, behind-the-scenes updates, and the content that doesn't make it to the podcast. Love this episode?! 079 | How Attachment Styles Shows Up in Your Business As A Women Entrepreneur (And Why It Matters)

You know that moment right before you send the invoice where you suddenly feel like you should lower the price? Or when you're about to post something vulnerable and your thumb hovers over the delete button instead? That's your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do when you were a kiddo. Your childhood survival strategies are running your business decisions right now based on the way you related to your caregivers back then is showing up as undercharging, hiding from visibility, and spiraling on decisions that should feel straightforward. In this episode, we're digging into attachment theory research and the data! And the good news? 80-90% of us can shift these patterns. Your nervous system, and ofc, mindset, beliefs, and patterns are adaptable!! What we're covering: Why anxious attachment makes you undercharge (and how it shows up as constant over-giving) The avoidant pattern: "I don't need help" leading straight to burnout Compulsive caregiving: giving everything away because your worth = your usefulness How gender conditioning compounds all of this (the data is wild) Nervous system regulation tools you can use before your next big decision Strategy only works when your nervous system feels safe. 078 | How To Set Boundaries In Business Without Feeling Like An A-Hole

Be honest: When was the last time you set a boundary and didn't immediately start explaining, justifying, or softening it? That churning in your stomach when you say yes but mean no? The fake smile while you're internally screaming "what am I doing?" Yeah, we need to talk about that. The truth bomb dropping today: Every time you sacrifice yourself to keep someone else comfortable, you think you're being kind. But really? You're leaking precious life force energy and training people not to trust you. Because energetically, they can feel when you're not standing in your truth. Boundaries aren't the walls we build to keep people out. They're the foundation we stand on so we can show up powerfully - in our businesses, our relationships, our mission work, our motherhood. All of it. What we're covering: Why "being accommodating" is actually manipulation (tough love incoming) The spiritual cost of self-abandonment and porous boundaries How Brené Brown's research proves clear boundaries create MORE success The practice: How to state boundaries without over-explaining or feeling like an a-hole This is Part 2 of my boundaries series, expanding beyond romantic relationships into the full ecosystem of being the woman behind it all. The bottom line: Boundaries are gifts. You're not responsible for other people's feelings. What happens when you stop doing what everyone says you're "supposed" to do and start testing what actually works for your energy, your family, and your business? I spent 8-10 hours a week on Instagram because that's what you do as an entrepreneur, right? Except my daughter kept asking "Mom, are you listening?" while my face was buried in my phone. So I deleted the app for 30 days to see what would happen. The results cracked me wide open in ways I didn't expect. My podcast downloads jumped 39% without Instagram promotion. I reclaimed a full work week worth of time. Aisy rated my presence improvement from a 6 to an 8.5 out of 10. But the biggest shift? The creative clarity that emerged when I stopped unconsciously falling into comparison spirals and started putting blinders up to focus on what actually matters. What we're covering: The real numbers: 39% podcast growth, 152% total growth since November!! 076 | What It Actually Takes To Build Sustainable Income & Impact As A Women Entrepreneur

Most female entrepreneurs are building their businesses on quicksand. They have all the strategy, the funnels, the perfect email sequences - but when success comes, it all cracks. Because they never did the unsexy foundation work first. I've invested over $100K in business courses and coaches over the years. Some investments felt desperate and frantic. Others felt like a full-body hell yes. The difference? The seed of intention behind each decision. Today I'm breaking down why your relationship with yourself determines whether your business thrives or crumbles - and it has nothing to do with your marketing strategy. What we're covering: Why your conscious mind wants success but your subconscious keeps sabotaging The bullseye effect: how internal shakiness ripples into every area of life My friend's transformation from manic manifesting to trusting her body's wisdom The specific tools that align your conscious and subconscious beliefs How to move from fear-based decisions to value-based leadership Why community and hard conversations are non-negotiables for sustainable growth Love this episode?! 072 | The Most Insecure People Are the Loudest (And What This Means for Your Authentic Expression)

Why is it so much easier to live disappointed than to live joyfully? And why do we tamper down the very parts of ourselves that could inspire others the most? This episode started as a voice note I sent to a friend who's been exploring how to help women step into their full expression - but it turned into something so much bigger. I'm sharing Brené Brown's insight that joy is the hardest part of vulnerability, how the coaching industry's "be loud, be bold" mentality can sometimes mask deep insecurity, and why your unique expression needs to be conjured from your own life experiences - not copied from someone else's projection. What we're covering: How childhood shame blocks adult expression and what to do about it Why the most insecure people are often the loudest (and what that means for you) Moving from disappointment-based living to joy-based living The masks we unconsciously wear and how to recognize them Why inspiring others starts with allowing yourself to feel genuine joy Resources Mentioned Inside: Diary of a CEO Episode: Brené Brown: We're In A Spiritual Crisis! 070 | How to Set Boundaries in Your Relationship Without Feeling Like An A-Hole

You know what nobody tells you about people-pleasing? Every time you say yes when you mean no, you're not just breaking a promise to yourself - you're literally poisoning your body and your relationships from the inside out. I used to think being "nice" meant swallowing my truth and keeping everyone else comfortable. Then I learned that resentment doesn't just live in your head - it lives in your tissues, your thyroid, your gut. And all that built-up rage from breaking trust with yourself? It has to go somewhere, and usually it gets projected onto the people you love most. Today, I'm sharing the framework that Brené Brown shares in her Power of Vulnerability training sessions that completely shifted how I approach boundaries, plus the exact language for saying no or YES authentically! What we're covering: Why authenticity is the foundation of boundaries (not people-pleasing) Brené Brown's "choose temporary discomfort over long-term resentment" mantra The default patterns working against you and why boundaries feel impossible How to share an authentic no AND yes with specific examples Three practices to integrate this week: reflection, practice, pause 📣 Join my Woman Behind It All Insiders Email List Ready to Transform From the Inside Out? Let's be real - I had a full breakdown moment where I was literally bawling my eyes out driving to a client appointment, asking the universe for help because perfectionism had me so gripped I couldn't finish one episode. The breakthrough came when I heard "LET GO" clear as day, and everything shifted. Now here we are at episode 69, and I'm sharing my whole messy journey so you can skip the drama and actually launch your show.   What we're covering: Why I followed Stefanie Gass's roadmap religiously (even though she's super religious and recently rebranded to "God-Led Business") The foundation work that matters more than fancy equipment (niche, title strategy, TSO statement) My equipment breakdown: why I ditched the expensive mic for a $10-20 lapel mic The technical setup that actually works (don't just upload to Spotify, use Podbean!) Launch day review strategy that boosted my rankings from day one 📣 Join my Woman Behind It All Insiders Email List Ready to Transform From the Inside Out? Your message deserves to be heard, and you don't need to have it all figured out to start.   Be brave, not perfect, my babe! Xx, Kaija . . .
