Philippians 3: Consider All Loss
Philippians 3:7-8 is a compelling few verses. Paul looks to his past and dismisses his earthly accomplishments in favor of the salvation he has in Christ. Then he looks to his present life and considers anything he could be doing as surrendered to the work of Jesus Christ which is far better. Finally, he looks to all that he is and gives himself to Christ so that he might know Jesus. Anyone reading these words will find themselves at one of these three places: ready to begin faith in Christ, considering what it means to give my vocation and life to Jesus, being invited to abandon myself in order that I might know Jesus more.

Acts 6: The Discipleship Bottleneck
The greatest threat to a growing movement is often the belief that one person has to do everything. In Acts of the Apostles 6, the apostles recognize their limits and entrust ministry to new leaders filled with wisdom and the Holy Spirit. The result is unity, multiplication, and a church prepared to reach the nations. This sermon challenges believers to stop spectating, embrace their gifts, and become active participants in the mission of God.

Philippians 2: What Story Are You Living In?
Behind every conflict, emotion, and decision is a story we believe to be true. Philippians 2 reveals how false stories produce division and self-protection—but the story of Jesus produces humility, unity, and a community that shines in a broken world.

Acts 5: Integrity Over Illusion
From the very beginning, the church was threatened not only by persecution from the outside, but by hypocrisy from within. In Acts of the Apostles 2–5, the early church is revealed as the new meeting place of God and humanity—a people marked by worship, generosity, justice, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Yet the story of Ananias and Sapphira shows how dangerous it is when people pursue the appearance of godliness instead of true surrender to God. This sermon explores how pride, image management, and spiritual performance threaten the church from within, and why God desires honesty and integrity more than polished religious appearances.

Acts 1: The Ends of the Earth
This is Table of Life Church's very first Sunday together as an official church. Jesus is already active in the world and Acts 1 invites us to consider how Jesus is continuing that work in us through the Holy Spirit and the Church. This sermon explores how God is writing the story of Jesus anew in the church and includes testimonies of how we hope to see God at work in us and through us.

Acts 3-4: Boldness Born in Prayer
Why does ministry sometimes feel exhausting, anxious, or spiritually empty? In Acts of the Apostles 3–4, Peter and John reveal that effective ministry does not begin with talent, strategy, or effort—it begins with being with Jesus. The boldness of the apostles, their prayers, their witness, and even the wonders God performs through them all flow out of a life saturated in the presence of Christ. This sermon explores how prayerful dependence on Jesus transforms fearful people into bold witnesses and why lasting ministry can only flow from abiding in Him.

2 Timothy 1: Staying Attached to Jesus in a Culture of Shame
Shame has the power to make us withdraw, disassociate, and protect ourselves. In Second Epistle to Timothy 1, Paul reminds Timothy that the gospel itself is socially costly because it confronts the very things we build our identity on: achievement, self-rule, comfort, and certainty. Yet believers are not left alone. God gives His people a legacy of faith, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a community that helps us remain attached to Jesus when suffering or shame tempt us to pull away. This sermon explores why Christians are called not only to stand unashamed of Christ, but also unashamed of one another.

Acts 16: Contentment in Chains
Why do some painful situations last so long? Why doesn’t God always remove us from suffering immediately? In Acts 16, Paul willingly remains in hardship, imprisonment, and uncertainty because Christ has become his deepest source of contentment. This sermon explores how suffering exposes what controls our hearts, how union with Christ produces contentment, and how God often uses our hardest places to reach unexpected people.Whether you are carrying anxiety, loneliness, disappointment, helplessness, or exhaustion, this message is an invitation to name your struggle, expose what’s underneath it, and surrender it to Jesus.

Galatians 2:15-21: Freedom that Heals, Rules that Form
In Galatians 2, we see that true freedom isn’t the absence of structure, but the presence of a God who uses even limits to form us into people who are truly alive.
