In this episode I speak to US ultra running legend Max King.

Max recently popped over from the USA to win the legendary Dragons Back Race. A 380KM stage race over 6 days traversing the length of Wales from Conwy in the north, to Cardiff in the south!

In this interview we chat about his experience of the iconic British stage race, that tests even the hardest ultra runners. We talk about his nonexistent recces of the course and how everyday was for him, fortunately a nice surprise.
We discuss his previous experience of UK trail running and how his love of the British fell running scene keeps him coming back for more!

Max is a great runner and it was an insightful interview that dealt with some of the minutiae of running in what has fast become a legendary race on the UK ultra scene.

As always, please like and subscribe to the channel and audio podcast.

Milk Trails: A Journey In The Out-Of-Hospital Birth Experience Milk Trails podcast by Hayley Oakes Milk Trails is a podcast dedicated to the out-of-hospital birth experience. Sharing stories can help reduce fear and misunderstanding around childbirth. In each episode, I interview home birth and birth center folks about their experiences including the choices they made leading them to an out-of-hospital birth, how they prepared, fears they worked through and of course how the birth went. By exploring birth in settings that allow birthing people to feel safe and that support the un-medicated birth process can help illustrate the scope of what ‘normal’ birth can look like – which can educate and empower expectant families during their birth experience whether at home, birth center or hospital. Many of them are wrongfully convicted, and many of them are told they will never go home again. From Focus Features and L.A. Times Studios comes the brand-new podcast series, CONVICTED: ACROSS BORDERS. Hosted by famed lawyer and bestselling author, Marcia Clark, we’ll hear straight from the mouths of the men and women who lived through these trials. Through these stories we’ll explore how seemingly benign actions can lead to incarceration in foreign lands, how to navigate different legal systems when you don’t even speak the language, and who one turns to when the closest help is thousands of miles away.Five unimaginably harrowing stories. Five traumatic fights for freedom. And five incredible true cases with emotional homecomings that have to be heard to be believed.Convicted: Across Borders is produced by L.A. Times Studios and Treefort Media. This podcast seri The Malt Whisky Trail Podcast The Malt Whisky Trail This is a podcast from The Malt Whisky Trail, the ultimate scotch experience.
