91 - Why Bookings Feel Harder in 2026 (And the 3 Fixes That Work)
What you actually need in 2026? A complete system — one that creates consistency whether the economy shifts, trends change, or your confidence wavers on any given day. That's exactly what we're building toward with the Client Connection System™. In this episode, you're getting the audio version of my Booked + Valued workshop (And if you want to see the full video version and see on-screen references, you can register for the free Booked + Valued workshop [VIDEO] here), where I walk you through the three specific strategies that are actually booking photographers in today's market. Here's what you'll walk away with: How to dissolve competition in saturated markets so you become the obvious choice before couples even speak with you — through brand positioning How to attract the clients you actually want and convert them into bookings consistently — through desire-based messaging that speaks to what couples feel, not just what you do How to book your highest packages without competing on price or deliverables — through a value-building sales process that has couples feeling sold before pricing even comes up You'll also hear real student results from Book It — Nicole who booked 9K in three days and 25K by month two, Kaleigh and Michael who booked 62K while in the program, Ariah who went from 2K to 6K packages in 90 days, and Karmen who hit a 90%+ discovery call conversion rate and brought in 69K total. 90 - Book It Student Wins: $9K in 3 Days, $40K by Feb, $69K in 3 Months, + More
You're working hard – really hard – but something still isn't clicking. The inquiries aren't consistent, the bookings feel unpredictable, and you're starting to wonder if it's your market, your pricing, or just you. What if I told you it's none of those things? In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, I'm sharing what changes when wedding photographers build the right business foundation – and I'm letting the results speak for themselves. Since I started tracking Book It student wins in 2025, photographers inside the program have collectively submitted $3.7 million in tracked results. In this episode, I'm sharing six of those stories — photographers who came in with inconsistent bookings, nonexistent inquiries, and businesses that weren't working for them — and showing you exactly what shifted. We're talking $40K booked by February 13th, $69K in three months, $9K in three days with a 100% conversion rate, $8K weddings booked without a single discovery call, and a photographer who delivered a contract poolside while on vacation with her family. The numbers are real. But what's underneath them — the confidence, the freedom, the feeling that your business is finally working for you instead of against you — that's the part I really want you to hear. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you'll hear about: How six Book It students went from inconsistent inquiries and relying on referrals to building photography businesses that book dream clients consistently Why mindset and strategy work together — and how Claudia's $34K transformation came from doing both at once What a website that actually converts looks like in practice — including how Logan books $8K weddings without ever getting on a discovery call How Nicole used SEO inside Book It to create a brand new lead generation avenue she'd never had access to before — with zero paid ads SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/student-reviews/recent-book-it-student-wins/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THE EPISODE: Apply for Book It — the 12-week photography business mentorship program built on the Client Connection System™ Grab the Discovery Call Script — the standalone tool Karmen and Nicole both started with before joining Book It Join the Anchara waitlist — the all-in-one CRM built specifically for photographers Connect with Claire: Claire's Instagram

89 - Pricing Conversations: The Reason You're Not Booking at Your Prices
If bookings have felt slower lately and you've started wondering if your pricing is too high — this episode is your permission slip to stop second-guessing yourself. The truth is, your price is almost never the real problem. What's actually getting in the way is that your dream clients aren't feeling your value before they ever reach out. And that's a completely fixable thing. In this first episode of my new Pricing Conversations series, I'm breaking down the three specific places where value gets communicated in your photography business before a couple even hits send on your contact form — and why when those three things are working together, your wedding photography pricing stops feeling like something you have to justify or defend. Whether you're struggling with getting ghosted after sending pricing, trying to book higher packages consistently, or just feeling like your photography marketing isn't converting the way it should, this episode will help you see exactly where to focus your energy. We're talking brand positioning, inquiry response strategy, and discovery call frameworks — the full client connection system that turns cold leads into dream bookings, without lowering your prices or adding more to your packages just to compete. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: Why lowering your wedding photography pricing when bookings slow down actually works against you The three places value gets built — and how to make each one work harder for you What strong brand positioning actually does (and a real student example of a couple who wanted to book 5 minutes into the call) How to build a discovery call framework that feels like genuine connection, not a sales pitch Show Notes: https://clairehunt.co/blog/show-notes/pricing-conversations-the-reason-youre-not-booking-at-your-prices/ Featured Offerings or Resources Mentioned in the Episode Watch the free Booked and Valued workshop — where I break down the three biggest roadblocks photographers face when trying to book dream clients at 5K+ packages, and walk you through how to actually fix them Grab the four free inquiry email templates — the exact ones I use in my business, downloaded by over 11,000 photographers, with guidance on how to personalize them so you get ghosted less and move more couples toward a discovery call Get the Discovery Call Script — my $67 serve-to-sell framework™ for leading your discovery call with confidence, connection, and a natural close that doesn't feel salesy Apply for Book It — my signature mentorship program where we build all five foundations together: branding, marketing, website, pricing and sales, and client experience + organization. 88 - Laurel's Book It Review: From 3 Weddings Per YEAR To A 20K PROFIT Month
You don't need a perfect season, a wide open schedule, or everything figured out to build a photography business that actually works. What you need are the right foundations — and this episode is proof of exactly that. I'm sitting down with Laurel, one of my past Book It students, to walk through her full transformation story: from shooting two to three weddings and struggling with Instagram strategy and the booking process, to booking her highest wedding package at $7,500, bringing in over $16K cash while paused from the program, and hitting $20,000 in profit in January 2026 alone. If you're a wedding photographer wondering whether now is the right time to invest in your business, whether you'll have enough time to implement, or whether a photography mentorship program can actually work for someone in your specific situation — Laurel's story is going to answer a lot of those questions. Her journey inside Book It is a real, honest look at what building a sustainable photography business actually looks like. She came in as a nurse working part-time in photography, mostly shooting seniors and families, with big dreams of making weddings her full-time focus. About halfway through the program, life happened and she had to step away — and her business kept moving anyway. Now she's nursing only one to two days a week by choice, consistently booking dream wedding clients, and experiencing her biggest revenue and profit months ever. This is what happens when you stop piecing together conflicting advice and start building on proven photography business strategies rooted in connection, brand positioning, and a booking process that converts. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: How Laurel went from two to three weddings and inconsistent bookings to $16K cash and a $7,500 wedding package while paused mid-program What she implemented inside Book It — including website refinement, Instagram strategy, and the inquiry-to-booking process — that created results even when she stepped away Why building your photography business foundations correctly means your business keeps working for you, even during life's hard seasons What Laurel would tell any photographer sitting on the fence about joining a mentorship program How Laurel had her biggest month ever just in January, bringing in a $20k PROFIT SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/student-reviews/book-it-review-laurel-3-weddings-to-20k-profit-month/ Featured Offerings or Resources Mentioned in the Episode Ready to build the foundations that keep working for you, even when life gets hard? 87 - Why Your Inquiry Process Is Costing You Bookings (And How To Fix It)
If you're getting ghosted after sending pricing, wondering why inquiries aren't converting, or feeling like potential clients are choosing cheaper photographers — the problem might not be your pricing or your portfolio. Most wedding photographers think sales begins when an inquiry hits their inbox, but the truth is, your sales process started long before that first email. Your brand positioning, your online presence, your messaging, your values, how you make people feel — all of it is doing the selling (or not) before a couple ever fills out your contact form. In this episode, I'm breaking down the three biggest areas of your inquiry-to-booking process that are costing you bookings and what to do about each one — from building strategic brand positioning that attracts dream clients who are ready to book, to refining your inquiry emails so you stop getting ghosted, to leading discovery calls with confidence instead of handing the reins to the client and hoping for the best. I'm also sharing two real stories from my own photography business that completely changed how I see the sales process — including a couple who told me on a discovery call, "We feel like we already know you and we hadn't even talked to you yet" — and how you can create that same experience for your clients through intentional brand strategy. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: Why sales starts at your brand's first impression — not when someone inquires — and how strategic brand positioning is foundational to booking dream clients at premium prices What brand positioning actually includes beyond your logo, color palette, and portfolio (and why most photographers are missing the biggest pieces) How to refine your inquiry response and follow-up emails so potential clients stay engaged instead of ghosting How to lead a discovery call that builds value and books your highest packages — without feeling salesy Show Notes: https://clairehunt.co/blog/show-notes/why-your-inquiry-process-is-costing-you-bookings/ Featured Offerings or Resources Mentioned in the Episode: Watch the free Booked + Valued Workshop - Learn The Client Connection System for attracting dream clients at premium prices Getting ghosted when a dream client inquires? 86 - All Angles Takes a Break
What if slowing down was actually the smartest business move you could make right now? I know it sounds counterintuitive—especially in an industry that glorifies the hustle and constantly showing up. But here's what I've learned after over five years of building, scaling, and sustaining a successful photography business: not everything is glass. Some things are rubber, and they can bounce for a bit while you get ahead, refine, and create space for what really matters. All Angles Photography Podcast is taking a short break, and I'm coming back on February 13th with new episodes. This isn't coming from a place of burnout or not loving what I do—I absolutely love showing up here and sharing free, actionable education with you. But after 85 episodes of consistent content every two weeks for the past three and a half years, I'm giving myself permission to slow down so I can speed up. I'm using this time to get ahead on content, explore ways to serve you even better, and honestly just breathe a little during this season of motherhood, refinements, and running a life-first business. If you've been feeling stretched thin or like you're constantly keeping up instead of getting ahead, let this be your permission too. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: Why I'm taking a break from the podcast (and when I'll be back with new episodes) The "glass vs. rubber" mindset shift that gave me permission to pause What I'll be working on behind the scenes during this time How to stay connected and work together between now and February A reminder that your business won't crumble if you give yourself space to slow down RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THE EPISODE: Follow me on Instagram @itsclairehunt Apply for Scale It Mentorship Program (starting January 6th, spots still available) Join the waitlist for Book It Mentorship Program Explore my shop with code PODSQUAD for a discount Book a 1:1 mentorship session (spots available starting January)

85 - Jess's Scale It Review: Outsourcing, Systems, + an Associate Team
What if your photography business could keep booking clients, serving couples beautifully, and generating revenue—even when you're going through the hardest season of your life? Most photographers think scaling means raising prices or shooting more weddings. But true scaling means building a business that runs without you, whether you're on vacation, navigating a personal crisis, or simply choosing to step back for a season. In this episode, I'm sitting down with Jess, one of my Scale It graduates who transformed her thriving-but-exhausting photography business into a sustainable model with an associate team, full outsourcing, and systems that gave her freedom when she needed it most. Jess specializes in intimate weddings with 30 guests or less, and she's not just a photographer—she's also a planner and day-of coordinator for her couples. When she joined Scale It in January 2025, she was in her fourth year of business, financially successful but stuck in "creative robot mode" every busy season. Fast forward to August 2025, and Jess has built and booked her associate team, fully outsourced key areas of her business with a VA, blog and Pinterest manager, and social media manager, and created systems that allow her to serve clients seamlessly without being hands-on. Most importantly, when Jess went through a difficult personal season, her business kept running smoothly in the background—even booking four 2026 weddings in one week while she was navigating one of life's toughest transitions. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: How to build a photography business that runs without you through strategic outsourcing and systems Why you don't have to be burned out to need to scale your photography business How to structure an associate team for unique business models (like combining photography with planning services) The systems and workflows that allow your business to keep booking clients even during hard personal seasons How outsourcing actually works when you have the right training and SOPs in place Why scaling isn't just about vacations—it's about building a sustainable photography business that serves your life SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/student-reviews/jess-scale-it-review/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Apply for Scale It Mentorship Program—my five-month group mentorship focused on building associate teams, outsourcing effectively, and scaling your photography business for work-life balance Follow Jess on Instagram @jessicaluannphoto (changing this off-season, so keep your eye out!) 84 - Maddy's Scale It Review: Associate Weddings Profiting 4k+ and Cutting Her Weddings in Half
You don't need to shoot every wedding to scale your income — and my student Maddy is living proof. If you've been grinding through wedding season after wedding season, trading every weekend for income and wearing burnout like a badge of honor, this episode will show you exactly how to build an associate photography team that frees up your time while increasing your profit. Maddy joined my Scale It mentorship program in January 2025 after finishing her first full wedding season feeling completely overwhelmed. She had big goals but zero idea how to tackle them without spending her entire off-season stressed out. Just six months later, she's already cut her wedding load in half for next year, hired 3 associates, received 22 applications for her team, and booked her first associate wedding for around $4,000 in profit—without having to shoot it herself. In this episode, Maddy shares the exact strategies she used to build her team the right way, create workflows that save her hours every week, shift her mindset around outsourcing, and finally gain the clarity and freedom she was craving. Whether you just finished your first wedding season or you've been photographing for years, this conversation will inspire you to see what's possible when you have the right systems and support in place to scale your photography business sustainably. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: How Maddy built an associate photography team from scratch and received 22 applications within months of joining Scale It The exact process for hiring associates who align with your brand so couples are excited (not disappointed) about the option How organizing her Gmail and creating client workflows saved Maddy hours every week and freed up her mental load Why outsourcing is an investment that pays for itself when you focus on the money-making activities that actually scale your business How Maddy booked her first associate wedding for $4K in profit without having to shoot it herself The long-term planning strategy that allowed Maddy to cut her wedding load in half for next year while increasing profit SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/student-reviews/maddys-scale-it-review/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Join the waitlist for Scale It and get immediate access to my brand-new freebie, "From Reactive to Proactive: Your CEO Day Framework," plus exclusive discounts, one-on-one time with me, and first access when enrollment opens November 4th! 83 - Nicole's Scale It Review: Highest Revenue Year Through Outsourcing, Email Marketing, and Albums
You're working 70-hour weeks, manually tracking every client, taking days to respond to inquiries—and while your business looks successful on paper, you're completely drowning behind the scenes. What if I told you that your highest revenue year could also be your most sustainable one? That scaling your photography business isn't about working more, but about building systems, email funnels, and strategic outsourcing that actually give you your life back? In this episode, I'm sitting down with my Scale It graduate Nicole, a wedding and elopement photographer who transformed her business from constant overwhelm to her highest revenue year yet (and it's not even over). Nicole shares how she went from doing everything herself to booking $8-10K weddings through automated email marketing, launching an associate team that booked within the first month (though, this isn't her primary way she's scaled as she's still figuring out how it fits in her business model), adding album and print sales that skyrocketed her profit margin, and outsourcing strategically so she comes back with 3 discovery calls booked when she's been shooting in Glacier National Park. If you've been wondering whether it's actually possible to scale past your capped income without burning out, this conversation will show you exactly how. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: How to set up email marketing funnels that nurture leads and convert $8-10K bookings with warmer, ready-to-book clients The systems and client experience upgrades that attract luxury photography clients who value professionalism How to strategically outsource (email assistant, blogger, social media manager) to buy back your time without sacrificing quality Why print and album sales are a sustainable revenue stream that serves your clients and increases your profit margin How to launch an associate team the right way—with proper client care and collaboration that books weddings within the first month The mindset shifts required to scale from working 70-hour weeks to having your highest revenue year while working less SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/student-reviews/nicoles-scale-it-review/ RESOURCES MENTIONED: Join the Scale It Waitlist Follow Nicole on Instagram at @nicolelkiser to see her stunning work and follow her scaling journey Episode 81 of All Angles Photography Podcast: My Client Files: A Recent Booking and a Recent Rejection Book It Mentorship Program FOLLOW CLAIRE: Claire's Instagram OFFERINGS: Notion Template AI Content Creation Guide Email Templates 1:1 Mentoring The Shop The Amazon Storefront FREE OFFERINGS: Free Podcast Workshop: The Scaling Series Booked + Valued Free Workshop Hook Inquiries - Email Templates Top 10 Resources You Need

81 - My Client Files: A Recent Booking and a Recent Rejection
What if I told you that the photography inquiry you lost last week wasn't because your prices were too high, but because your business didn't feel professional enough? In today's behind-the-scenes episode, I'm sharing the raw truth about a recent $15,000+ wedding inquiry rejection that taught me everything about luxury client expectations, plus a $10,000 booking story where the couple chose me over cheaper photographers specifically because of my business foundations. These real client experiences reveal exactly what separates profitable wedding photographers from hobbyists in today's competitive market. Through my recent rejection for a dream New York destination wedding, you'll discover how paying attention to client objections can transform your business strategy and why you don't need expensive gear to meet evolving market demands. Then I'll walk you through my complete booking process for a couple who had a $9,000 budget but happily paid $10,000 because of the value and professionalism I demonstrated. You'll hear direct client feedback about what made other photographers feel "lackadaisical" and unprofessional, plus learn the discovery call strategies and follow-up techniques that convert luxury inquiries even when you're the highest-priced option. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: How to turn client rejections into business growth opportunities and market insights The exact professionalism factors that make couples choose higher-priced photographers My complete booking process from inquiry to signed contract for premium weddings Why business foundations matter more than portfolio or pricing for luxury clients Specific discovery call techniques that build confidence and convert inquiries How to handle price objections and follow up with prospects who are "shopping around" SHOWNOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/my-client-files-a-recent-booking-and-a-recent-rejection/ RESOURCES MENTIONED: Free inquiry email templates Discovery call script for photographers 30+ email templates for photographers Book It mentorship program application Amazon storefront for photography gear recommendations FOLLOW CLAIRE: Claire's Instagram OFFERINGS: Notion Template AI Content Creation Guide Email Templates 1:1 Mentoring Scale It Mentorship Program The Shop The Amazon Storefront FREE OFFERINGS: Free Podcast Workshop: The Scaling Series Booked + Valued Free Workshop Top 10 Resources You Need

80 - Trinity's Scale It Review: $22K Months, 6 Figures, and Her Husband Home
Are you an exhausted photographer feeling trapped in the endless cycle of posting on Instagram, getting ghosted by potential clients, and watching your income fluctuate wildly while you trade every weekend for barely enough profit? What if I told you that one of my Scale It students went from that exact place to booking out her entire year with Google ads, hitting $22,000 months, and creating enough financial freedom for her husband to quit his corporate job - all while spending more time with her kids? In this episode, I'm sharing Trinity's complete transformation story, from struggling with inconsistent wedding photography bookings to building a six-figure photography business with systems that actually work. Trinity, a busy mom of two and owner of Stills by Trinity, breaks down exactly how she implemented the Scale It strategies to revolutionize her photography business. She shares the specific pricing guide changes that led to $12,000 in bookings within one week, how Google ads brought her a 20X return on investment and booked out her entire year (bringing her to 6-figures for the first time), and the mindset shifts that allowed her to build a thriving associate team. 79 - Things I Outsource In My Business + Life
Are you convinced that outsourcing means losing control of your photography business? That no one can do it as well as you? Here's the perspective shift you need: every time you delay outsourcing, you're trading your time, energy, and presence with the people who matter most for the illusion of control. The truth is, outsourcing isn't about dropping the ball as a business owner - it's about stepping fully into your CEO role. Think about it: how many successful CEOs do you know who actually do everything themselves? They don't, and neither should you. In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on exactly what I outsource in both my photography business and personal life, from wedding photo editing and content marketing to bookkeeping, podcast production, and even house cleaning. I'll share how I knew it was time to let go of each task, the strategic approach I use to determine what gets outsourced first, and how you can start small without feeling overwhelmed. Whether you're an established photographer drowning in editing queues during busy season or struggling to find time for the money-making parts of your business, this episode will give you the roadmap and permission you need to build a sustainable, scalable photography business that doesn't require you to sacrifice your personal life. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: Why outsourcing wedding photo editing was the first game-changing decision for my photography business growth The three key questions to ask yourself to determine when you're ready to outsource specific tasks Specific business functions I outsource: content marketing, bookkeeping, admin support, podcast production, and operations management Personal life outsourcing that contributes to business success: house cleaning, grocery delivery, and childcare support How to start small with outsourcing and gradually build your support team without losing control The unexpected value of mindset coaching as a form of business outsourcing for scaling your photography business SHOWNOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/things-i-outsource-in-my-business-life/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Free Outsourcing Worksheet Episode 78: I Spend 2 Hours Editing a Wedding... 77 - Selling Your Highest Package Without Feeling Salesy
Getting nervous when it's time to talk pricing with potential wedding clients? You're probably not being salesy at all – you're just missing the strategy behind confident package recommendations. Most wedding photographers fall into one of two camps: either underselling by default because you assume couples want the cheapest option, or pitching low packages out of fear of rejection. But what if I told you that your highest package is often exactly what couples want when you know how to present it as the perfect solution for their dream wedding day? In this episode, I'm sharing how to sell your highest wedding photography packages without feeling pushy or sales-y by focusing on value building from your very first brand touchpoint. We'll dive into the mindset shift that transforms selling into serving, plus I'm sharing the personal discovery call story that completely changed how I approach package recommendations. Whether you're struggling with pricing confidence, getting ghosted after sending proposals, or just want to book more of your premium wedding packages, this episode will give you the photography business strategy you need. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: Why most wedding photographers unconsciously undersell their packages and how to break this pattern How to build value from the very first moment couples interact with your photography brand The essential mindset shift that makes selling feel like serving your wedding clients Why being genuine in your package recommendations actually builds more trust and bookings The discovery call strategy that helps couples confidently choose your highest wedding photography package SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/how-to-sell-your-highest-package-without-feeling-salesy/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Free workshop - Booked + Valued Episode 49: How I Lead a Discovery Call as a Photographer Discovery call script Inquiry email templates Book It mentorship program FOLLOW CLAIRE: Claire's Instagram OFFERINGS: Notion Template AI Content Creation Guide Email Templates 1:1 Mentoring Book It Mentorship Program Scale It Mentorship Program The Shop The Amazon Storefront FREE OFFERINGS: The Secret to Scaling Your Photography Business Freebie Hook Inquiries - Email Templates Top 10 Resources You Need

76 - How To Stand Out in a Saturated Photography Market
"The photography market is so saturated" – Sound familiar? Here's the perspective shift you need: your beautiful portfolio isn't what's keeping you from booking your highest packages, and market saturation isn't real when you master what actually makes photographers stand out. In this episode, I'm breaking down why competing on portfolio, pricing, and experience keeps wedding photographers trapped in the "starving artist" cycle, and revealing the one business foundation that eliminates competition entirely. Most photographers think branding means having a pretty logo and website design, but I'm sharing what brand positioning actually includes and why it's the thing that will help you attract clients who book your highest packages without hesitation. From finding your unique white space in the photography industry to developing a personal brand that speaks directly to your dream clients, this episode will shift how you think about growing your photography business. If you're ready to start having ideal clients say "she's the one for us" before they even inquire, this episode is for you. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will hear: Why your portfolio won't make you stand out and what actually will in today's photography market The breakdown of brand positioning (it's so much more than logo and website design) How to discover your unique white space in the industry so you stop sounding like everyone else The psychology behind why dream clients choose certain photographers over others Real strategies to attract wedding clients who value your work and book your highest packages SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/how-to-stand-out-in-a-saturated-photography-market/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THE EPISODE: Register for the free Booked + Valued workshop Episode 42: Thought Leadership Content and How It's More Important Than the Algorithm Book It Mentorship Program FOLLOW CLAIRE: Claire's Instagram OFFERINGS: Notion Template AI Content Creation Guide Email Templates 1:1 Mentoring Scale It Mentorship Program The Shop The Amazon Storefront FREE OFFERINGS: The Secret to Scaling Your Photography Business Freebie Hook Inquiries - Email Templates Top 10 Resources You Need

75 - Toria's Book It Review: She Made Her Investment Back in ONE Month in Book It
If you've been piecing together free photography education for years but still find yourself accepting any client just for the income, getting ghosted by potential dream clients, and wondering why other wedding photographers seem to book consistently while you're stuck in feast or famine, this episode is going to be a wake-up call. I'm sharing the incredible transformation story of my Book It student, Toria, who went from commenting in Facebook wedding groups to booking five lead weddings and making back her entire mentorship investment in just 30 days. Toria's journey from struggling wedding photographer to confident business owner proves that success isn't about working harder—it's about building the right business foundations. After two and a half years of trying to grow her photography business using only free education, she finally invested in herself through my Book It mentorship program and saw incredible results. Her story will show you exactly what's possible when you stop treating your photography business like a hobby and start operating as the CEO you need to become. 74 - 3 Things Your Website Needs to Increase Wedding Inquiries
Your website should be working overtime (so you don't have to), but what if it's actually turning them away? You're pouring your heart into Instagram content and Pinterest pins, but potential clients are clicking away from your website faster than you can say "authentic moments." Here's the thing with increasing inquiries: it's likely not your photography skills or your marketing strategy that's the problem — it's your website itself. After auditing hundreds of photographer websites inside my mentorship program Book It, I've discovered that even photographers who've invested four figures into professional website design are still missing these three crucial elements that convert website visitors into booked clients at their highest packages. In this episode, I'm breaking down the exact website mistakes I see over and over again that are costing you dream clients, and more importantly, how to fix them so your website becomes your biggest selling machine. Whether you're working with a basic Squarespace template or a custom Showit design, these foundational changes will help you stand out from the crowd of other wedding photographers and attract couples who are ready to book your highest packages without hesitation. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will learn: The three essential questions your homepage must answer above the fold to stop visitors from bouncing Why curated galleries convert better than massive portfolio dumps and how to create them How to create separate service pages that speak directly to your ideal clients and improve SEO The psychology behind clear website messaging and why generic language hurts your bookings Real examples of how these changes lead to more wedding inquiries (the goal) SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/3-things-your-website-needs-to-increase-wedding-inquiries/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THE EPISODE: Join the Book It waitlist (enrollment opens August 19th and you'll get first access to 1:1 time, up to $1000 off, my Meta and Google Ads trainings, and more) Register for the free workshop on August 12th: Booked and Valued. 73 - When Should I Share Pricing? Before or After a Discovery Call?
Getting ghosted after sending your wedding photography pricing? It's probably not your pricing that's the problem. If you're constantly second-guessing whether to share your rates on your website or wait until after a discovery call, you're focusing on the wrong thing entirely. Most wedding photographers think they need to lower their prices, add more value to packages, or find the "perfect" timing to share pricing, but none of that addresses the real issue keeping you from booking consistently at premium rates. The truth is, when you share your photography pricing matters far less than how you position your brand, craft your marketing message, and build your business foundations. Whether you're a $2,000 photographer or charging $15,000 for wedding packages, your pricing strategy success comes down to mastering your brand positioning, client experience, and sales psychology. In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly why transparency works in today's market, sharing my personal approach to pricing that's helped me book five-figure wedding packages, and revealing the three biggest roadblocks that keep photographers stuck in the feast-or-famine cycle. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will learn: Why getting ghosted after sending pricing isn't actually about your rates (and what's really causing it) The truth about sharing wedding photography pricing on your website vs. after discovery calls How to attract more qualified wedding inquiries through pricing transparency My exact approach to sharing pricing information that leads to $10k-$15k bookings The business foundations that matter more than pricing timing for booking dream clients Why buyers are changing in 2025 and what wedding photographers need to know SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/when-should-i-share-pricing-before-or-after-a-discovery-call/ RESOURCES MENTIONED: Free inquiry email templates Discovery call script template: $47 Register for the NEW workshop: Booked + Valued - Learn the 3 step framework to Attract + Book Dream Weddings at $5k+. 72 - You Should Launch Your Photography Services... Here's How with Kelsey McCormick
Are you tired of posting "I have three spots left for 2025" on Instagram and hearing nothing but crickets? What if I told you that the problem isn't your photography skills or even your pricing – it's that you're treating your photography services like they're always available instead of creating strategic launch campaigns that make people excited to book you? Most wedding photographers rely on random Instagram inquiries and word-of-mouth referrals, leaving them feeling powerless over their sales and constantly wondering when the next booking will come. But there's a game-changing approach that could help you book thousands within days of opening your calendar. In this episode, I'm joined by Kelsey from Coming Up Roses, the absolute launch queen who helps creative service providers turn their skills into consistent sales. We're diving deep into how photographers can apply launch strategies typically used for digital products to their photography services. Kelsey shares how she went from $100K to $450K in revenue by implementing quarterly launch campaigns, and I reveal my own waitlist strategy that's transformed how I book wedding clients. We cover everything from building effective waitlists (and nurturing them) to creating urgency without discounting your services, plus the crucial mindset shift you need to sell with confidence. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will learn: Why posting "spots available" doesn't work and how creating strategic launch campaigns instead could change everything The importance of building and nurturing waitlists that will convert your hottest leads into bookings The quarterly launch model that creates predictability and consistency in your photography business Incentive strategies that create urgency without cheapening your wedding photography services An essential mindset shift around sales and marketing that will transform your booking success How to market your photography services from a place of generosity rather than as a pushy promotion SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/you-should-launch-your-photography-services-heres-how-with-kelsey-mccormick/ RESOURCES MENTIONED: Kelsey's course: Launch Your Own Way The Warm Up podcast (private subscription) Coming Up Roses on Instagram: @cominguproses.co Book It Mentorship Program FOLLOW CLAIRE: Claire's Instagram OFFERINGS: Notion Template AI Content Creation Guide Email Templates 1:1 Mentoring Scale It Mentorship Program The Shop The Amazon Storefront FREE OFFERINGS: The Secret to Scaling Your Photography Business Freebie Attract and Book Dream Couples Free Workshop Hook Inquiries - Email Templates Top 10 Resources You Need

71 - Caring for Yourself in Busy Season: How to Avoid Burnout
If you find yourself completely exhausted by October, dreading your next wedding weekend, or feeling like your photography business is running you instead of you running it, you're not alone. Here's the truth: photographer burnout isn't about being too busy – it's about having a reactive business structure instead of a proactive one. I know photographers who shoot 30 weddings a year and love every minute, while others burn out at just 15. The difference? How their business is structured for long-term sustainability. In this episode, I'm sharing real strategy that helped me transform my own photography business from 33 weddings and 60-hour work weeks (where I completely lost myself) to a scalable, profitable business that serves my life instead of consuming it. We're diving deep into wedding photographer business strategies, scaling your photography business, avoiding burnout in busy season, and creating multiple revenue streams that don't require trading your time for money. This isn't surface-level self-care advice – this is about fundamentally shifting how you operate as a photography business owner and CEO. Whether you're struggling with double headers, editing until 2 AM, or just feeling overwhelmed by your photography business workload, this episode will give you the roadmap to work less while making more. I'm sharing the importance of implementing CEO days, planning for long-term growth instead of short-term fixes, and building systems that allow your business to run without you being "on" all the time. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will learn: Why "success" can burn you out in your photography business How to shift from reactive to proactive business planning for sustainable growth The framework for implementing CEO days to work ON your business instead of just IN it Strategies for scaling beyond trading time for money through multiple revenue streams How to plan ahead so busy season doesn't consume your personal life and relationships Resources Mentioned: Episode 33: Avoiding Short-Term Thinking and Planning for Long-Term Growth Episode 4: Self-Care During Busy Season Scale It Mentorship Program Waitlist (get the free CEO Day Framework bonus immediately, as well as exclusive early access details, first access when enrollment opens, up to $1500 off, 1:1 time with me, and more) From Reactive to Proactive: Your CEO Day Framework (free bonus for waitlist members) FOLLOW CLAIRE: Claire's Instagram OFFERINGS: Notion Template AI Content Creation Guide Email Templates 1:1 Mentoring Book It Mentorship Program Scale It Mentorship Program The Shop The Amazon Storefront FREE OFFERINGS: The Secret to Scaling Your Photography Business Freebie Attract and Book Dream Couples Free Workshop Hook Inquiries - Email Templates Top 10 Resources You Need

70 - How to Legally Run Your Photography Business with Paige Griffith
Ever wonder if that free contract template you're using is actually protecting your photography business? Or if calling your upfront payment a "deposit" instead of a "retainer" could cost you thousands if a client cancels? The legal side of your photography business might not be as exciting as new gear or stylized shoots, but it's the foundation that protects everything you're building. I sat down with Paige Griffith from The Legal Paige (who's both a lawyer AND a photographer!) to demystify what it really takes to run your photography business legally. Whether you're just starting out or you've been shooting for years, Paige breaks down exactly what you need to know about contracts, business insurance, and when it's time to form an LLC - all in plain English that actually makes sense. In this episode of All Angles Photography Podcast, you will learn: The "triangle of protection" every photographer needs and why your contract should be your first line of defense (even before forming an LLC!) Why saying "deposit" instead of "retainer" could leave you legally obligated to refund a client's payment if they cancel The compelling case for flat-fee retainers vs. percentage-based retainers for wedding photographers (this perspective shift alone could save you from difficult client conversations) Exactly when you need a privacy policy on your website and the simple rule for whether you can add inquiry contacts to your email list When it's time to form an LLC and how to do it yourself without paying a lawyer or accountant SHOW NOTES: https://clairehunt.co/blog/how-to-legally-run-your-photography-business-with-paige-griffith/ RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THE EPISODE: The Legal Paige website: www.thelegalpaige.com The Legal Paige Instagram: @thelegalpaige The Legal Paige Facebook Group (TLP Community): tlpfacebook.com Legally Legit Podcast The Legal Paige Contract Shop 40% off sale: May 19-22, 2025 Use my personal discount code for The Legal Paige contracts for an additional discount - CLAIRE10 (works year-round!)
