Emotions Are Contagious | The Science of Frequency and How It Affects You and Your Child
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we take a deeper look at emotions—not just as feelings, but as something far more powerful. Emotions carry frequency, and that frequency doesn’t stay contained within you. It moves outward, influencing your environment and the people around you, especially your children.I break this down in a simple, clear way so you can understand the science behind it, and why your emotional state matters more than you may realize. Emotions are not neutral. They are active, contagious, and constantly being “felt” by those around you, even when nothing is being said. This episode invites you to become more aware of what you are consistently feeling and practicing each day. Because the emotions you return to most often become the atmosphere your children grow up in.When you begin to shift your internal state—even slightly—you begin to change what you are transmitting. And that has a direct impact on your home, your relationships, and your child’s emotional world. This is not about perfection. It is about awareness, intention, and choosing what you cultivate within yourself, knowing it doesn’t stay with you—it spreads.

How to Build Instant Confidence (For You and Your Child) | Simple Mindset Techniques That Work
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we explore confidence in a way that feels safe, empowering, and deeply practical—for both you and your child. Confidence is often seen as something you either have or don’t, but in truth, it is something you can gently build and strengthen from within.I share two simple techniques that you can implement immediately. The first helps you understand that there are different parts within you—one that feels confident and one that prefers safety and comfort. Instead of trying to get rid of the “non-confident” part, we bring both parts together, allowing the confident part to lead while the other feels safe and protected. This creates inner stability instead of inner conflict. The second technique uses visualization and emotion to help you step into a more confident version of yourself. By imagining a specific moment and repeatedly stepping into it with confidence—each time making the image clearer, brighter, and stronger—you begin to embody that version of yourself naturally. These tools are gentle enough for children to use, yet powerful enough to create real internal shifts. Confidence doesn’t have to be forced. It can be built, step by step, from the inside out.

Break Limiting Beliefs Fast | The Table Top Technique for Fear and Mindset Shifts
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, I share a simple but powerful technique you can use to break down limiting beliefs and fear almost immediately. It is called the Table Top Technique, and it works by helping you see that your beliefs are only standing because they are supported by reasons you have accepted as true.Imagine your belief as a table. The belief itself is the tabletop, and the reasons you believe it are the legs holding it up. In this exercise, you place one limiting belief on the table and then identify three strong reasons why you believe it to be true. Once you have those reasons, you begin to challenge and disprove each one.As you remove the “legs” by questioning and dismantling these reasons, the belief can no longer stand. Just like a table cannot stay upright without its support, your belief begins to collapse. This technique is especially powerful when dealing with fear, because fear is often built on assumptions that have never been properly questioned. This episode gives you a practical tool you can use anytime you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by your own thoughts. When you learn to challenge what you believe, you create space for new, more empowering thoughts to take their place.

The Golden Rule of Life | Teaching Kids Respect, Conflict Skills, and Emotional Control
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we talk about the Golden Rule of life and how powerful it can be when you truly make it part of your daily behavior. The simple principle of treating others the way you would like to be treated can change the way we handle conflict, especially in the home. This lesson is not only important for us as adults, but also something we need to teach our children from a young age.We look at how conflict often happens when emotions take over and we react without thinking. When we are upset, the nervous system moves into survival mode, and instead of understanding the other person, we focus only on our own frustration. Learning to calm yourself first makes it possible to pause, think, and respond in a way that creates peace instead of more conflict. This episode also focuses on how to teach the Golden Rule to children, especially when dealing with sibling rivalry. When kids learn to stop, regulate their emotions, and consider how the other person feels, they develop skills that will help them in friendships, relationships, and everyday life. The Golden Rule may sound simple, but when practiced consistently, it becomes one of the strongest foundations for emotional maturity and healthy relationships.

Belief Systems Explained | How Your Subconscious Beliefs Shape Your Life
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we talk about belief systems and how they quietly shape the way we think, feel, and act every day. Most of our beliefs are not formed by logical decisions, but through repetition over time or through strong emotional experiences. A thought repeated often enough becomes a belief, and a single intense moment can also create a belief that stays with us for years. We explore limiting beliefs and how they influence our reactions, confidence, relationships, and even the way we see ourselves as mothers. One of the challenges with belief systems is that most of them live in the subconscious mind, which means we are not always aware of what we believe or why we react the way we do.In this episode, I explain a simple exercise called the “I am” exercise to help you discover the beliefs that may be running in the background. You say a sentence like “I am…”, “Money is…”, “My children are…”, or “Life is…” and then you pause and listen to what your mind fills in. This can reveal hidden beliefs that you didn’t even know were there. We also talk about three surprising truths about belief systems: most of them are formed before the age of seven, many come from external influences rather than your own choices, and a large percentage of them operate without you ever noticing. When you become aware of your beliefs, you finally have the power to change them.

The 3 Pillars of Life: Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions Explained
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we talk about the three pillars that shape our daily lives: thoughts, emotions, and actions. Everything we do starts with a thought, which creates a feeling, and that feeling then leads to an action. When we understand this simple pattern, we begin to see that our actions and reactions are not random, but the result of what is happening in our minds. We look at how this works in everyday situations. A thought can create excitement, which leads to motivation and action, but a negative thought can just as easily create a heavy emotion that makes you avoid something you planned to do. For example, the thought “I’m too tired” can create the feeling of exhaustion, which leads to the action of not doing what needs to be done. This episode is a reminder that if we want to change our actions or understand our emotions, we have to go back to the first pillar, our thoughts. When you become aware of what you are thinking, you gain the ability to guide your emotions and choose your actions more intentionally. These three pillars are always working together, and learning to notice them can change the way you experience your whole day.

Why Multitasking Makes You Exhausted | What It Does to Your Brain
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we talk about multitasking and why it often leaves you feeling overwhelmed and mentally exhausted, even when you feel like you did not get much done. Many moms believe multitasking makes them more productive, but in reality, the brain is not designed to do multiple things at the same time. Instead, the brain switches very quickly from one task to another, and this constant switching uses a lot of mental energy. When your brain moves back and forth between different types of thinking, like problem solving, planning, creativity, and emotional processing, it has to reset each time. This repeated resetting tires the brain and can leave you feeling drained, distracted, and overwhelmed by the end of the day. This episode explains in a simple way what happens inside your brain when you multitask and why doing one thing at a time can actually help you feel calmer, clearer, and more in control. Understanding how your brain works can help you protect your energy and reduce the constant feeling of mental overload.

The Power of the Present Moment | Stop Living in the Past and Future
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we talk about the power of the present moment and how easily our thoughts pull us into the past or the future without us even noticing. Many feelings of overwhelm come from thinking about things we cannot change anymore or worrying about things that have not even happened yet. The mind starts replaying old events or imagining future problems, and the body reacts as if everything is happening right now. This episode is a gentle reminder to come back to the question that can bring instant calm: Is there anything I can do about this right now? Whether it is something from the past that still hurts or something in the future that feels stressful, the only moment where you can think, plan, heal, or act is the present moment. We talk about how thoughts like “I should have,” “What if,” “I can’t wait,” or “I’m afraid of what will happen” pull your nervous system out of balance. When you bring your attention back to what you can do right now, your mind becomes clearer, your body relaxes, and overwhelm starts to fade. This is a simple but powerful habit that helps you live with more peace, more focus, and more control over your thoughts.

Deep Healing Meditation: How to Release Emotional Pain and Take Back Your Power
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, I explain a deep healing meditation you can use to work through painful memories, emotional triggers, or situations that still feel heavy inside you. This is not a guided meditation, but a step-by-step tool you can practice on your own whenever you feel ready to face something that still affects your thoughts, emotions, or reactions. The exercise begins by calming the body and mind until you reach a relaxed state, often called the alpha brainwave state, where the nervous system feels safe and open. From there, you imagine the situation, memory, or person in front of you instead of inside you. You observe it with awareness, noticing what you feel, what you see, and even what colors, sensations, or emotions appear.Once the feeling becomes clear, you place your hands on it in your imagination and begin using Ho’oponopono phrases with intention. You might say things like, “I’m sorry for not dealing with this sooner,” “Please forgive me for allowing this to control my life,” “I love you for what you have taught me,” and “Thank you for helping me grow.” As you continue, you imagine the heaviness becoming lighter and lighter until it transforms into light and releases its hold on you. This meditation is a powerful way to stop running from emotional pain and instead face it with strength, compassion, and faith. When you allow yourself to process what is inside you, healing becomes possible, and what once felt overwhelming can lose its power.

EFT Tapping for Emotional Release | Calm Your Nervous System and Shift Your Energy
Harmony After Heartbreak is a faith-based program designed for single moms who want to find peace, emotional clarity, and stability after divorce. The program is available for only R175 (approximately $11). To learn more or to join, email me at [email protected] this episode, we talk about EFT tapping, a powerful technique that helps regulate the nervous system, release emotional tension, and activate the body’s natural healing response. This audio comes from a previously recorded video where the tapping points were demonstrated, so the exact locations are not explained in detail here, but the purpose and the effect of the practice are still very clear.EFT tapping works by stimulating specific points on the body while focusing on an emotion, thought, or memory. This helps the nervous system process what you are feeling instead of staying stuck in stress or survival mode. The practice is not about eastern mysticism or complicated rituals, but about activating the body’s natural ability to calm itself and restore balance. This technique becomes even more powerful when combined with intention, prayer, or practices like Ho’oponopono. By tapping while repeating healing phrases, you can release negative emotions, reduce stress, and create space for clarity and peace. If you are unsure about the exact tapping points, you are welcome to watch any EFT tapping video online while listening to this episode and follow along. This is a simple but effective tool you can use whenever your emotions feel overwhelming.

The practice uses four short phrases, “I’m sorry, please forgive me, I love you, thank you,” repeated with intention to bring calm to the nervous system and create space for emotional healing. This episode keeps the explanation simple and practical, so you can start using Ho’oponopono immediately whenever you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Sometimes the most powerful healing tools are also the simplest.

New research shows that deeper, intentional breathing signals safety to the brain, helping the body move out of survival mode and into a more balanced, regulated state.I also share a simple breathing exercise you can use anytime you feel overwhelmed, tired, or emotionally tense. The exercise uses two quick breaths in, followed by a strong breath out, combined with a short sentence spoken with intention. This allows you to connect breathing with healing, prayer, or goal setting. You can use Ho’oponopono phrases like “I’m sorry,” “Please forgive me,” “I love you,” and “Thank you,” or you can combine the breathing with a goal, such as repeating a phrase like “new clients” or any intention you want to focus on. This practice not only increases oxygen in the body, but also trains the mind to move toward calm, clarity, and purpose.

From there, you recall a truly exciting moment from your life, not just a happy memory, but a moment that made you feel alive, proud, grateful, or overwhelmed with joy. As you relive the experience, you notice the details. What do you hear, smell, and feel? What color does your energy have? What are their personalities, their motivations, and their influence on the main character? From this perspective, you begin to analyze the most important character in the story: you. What are her characteristics? Are you proud of how she responds to challenges? Is she focused on growth and learning, or is she still anchored to a painful moment from her past? What is her backstory, and how is it shaping her choices today? This episode is an invitation to consciously examine your life like a story unfolding chapter by chapter. If this were a novel or a film, what genre would it be? What kind of story do you want it to become? Adventure, healing, growth, redemption, love? When you step outside the narrative and observe it with curiosity, you realize something powerful. The story isn’t finished yet, and the main character still has the opportunity to grow, evolve, and write a different ending.

The Science of Gratitude - Why Thankfulness is a Natural Antidepressant for moms
Interested in the Harmony After Heartbreak program? You’re welcome to email me directly at [email protected] for more information.Gratitude is often spoken about as a spiritual practice or a mindset shift, but science tells a far deeper story. In this episode, The Science of Gratitude, we explore how thankfulness physically reshapes the brain and body, especially for moms carrying emotional and mental load.Research shows that consistent gratitude practices increase grey matter in key areas of the brain linked to emotional regulation and resilience. Gratitude also strengthens immunity, lowers stress hormones, and triggers the release of a powerful chemical cocktail including serotonin and dopamine, the same neurotransmitters targeted by many antidepressants. This is not about forcing positivity or pretending life doesn’t hurt. It’s about understanding how God-designed biology responds when we intentionally focus on what is still good, still held, still possible. Gratitude becomes a bridge between faith, neuroscience, and healing, gently guiding the nervous system out of survival and back into safety. If you’re a mom feeling depleted, emotionally flat, or overwhelmed, this episode offers both science-backed insight and compassionate reassurance that your body knows how to heal when given the right signals.
