    13. You Don’t Need a Coach—But Here’s Why You Might Want One

Ever found yourself having a business breakthrough at the most random moment? That was me today as I was sitting in the Red Robin parking lot, drooling over fries. It hit me: Business is a lot like ordering fast food. Some days, we crave the comfort of what we know—quick wins, familiar strategies, and safe choices. Other days, we’re ready to take a risk and try something new.In this episode, I’m breaking down how business growth requires a balance of both. Are you sticking to the same strategies out of habit, or are you willing to experiment for long-term success? And—let’s get real—are you building a business that’s “fast and easy” like a burger, or one that’s truly nourishing and built to last? What You’ll Learn in This Episode:💤Why business ideas strike at the most random times (yes, even in a Red Robin parking lot)💤The connection between fast food and business growth decisions💤When to stick with what works vs. when to experiment and pivot💤How to shift from short-term wins to a sustainable business modelWork With Mehttps://marra-mcdonald.mykajabi.comConnect With MeWebsite: https://marra-mcdonald.mykajabi.comSubstack: https://marramcdonald.substack.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/marra.mcdonald/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@marra.thelatenightceo?_t=ZT-8v4ih8roiOk&_r=1If you loved this episode, don’t forget to subscribe and leave a review! 2. Mundane To Money Making: Turning Everyday Moments into Profitable Opportunities

For the longest time, I actually hid what set me apart. I had a coach I really looked up to in the online space tell me, “you should really hide the fact you work nights and weekends, it screams you don’t have boundaries” so I did; but do you know what that actually did? Made me not have boundaries. I was actually working nights and weekends so I could portray to the online space that I was actually working during the days and because of that, I was just non-stop working which is NOT why I got into business. I kid you not, the moment I embraced what set me apart, “The Late Night CEO” everything changed. I am now booked out in my 1:1 and having people reserve working with me when it opens back up, I have 27 long term clients in the mastermind, and I have solid relationships in the online space— all because I embraced what others see as mundane. Does that mean I only work with people who work nights? Hell no, and you embracing what sets you apart also does not limit you. I want you to reflect on your brand. What is it that really sets you apart? How are you embracing that when you show up? How are you embracing it with your clients? How can you embrace it even more? A free space is coming soon where we can break these down more together Ps. Wanna sit in? Goodevening my late night CEO's! Today's episode is all about my shit show of a day today and how despite all of that, my clients still thrived, I still had inquiries, I built relationships, and I still grew in business. I don't say all of this to say "look how amazing I am", I do it to show you how simple business growth can be. Does it mean it is easy? No. It is damn hard, but it does not need to be as complicated as it seemsEnjoy. Have a good night. See you tomorrow (maybe)Ps. Wanna sit in?
