(2026_05_06) - Understanding the Historical and Spiritual Progression of Revivals in the Church - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we took an in-depth look at the journey and progression of revivals in helping us understand why believers must not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, as instructed in Ephesians 4:14. We learned that the devil has established doctrines within every system of the world, which is why believers must remain fully persuaded and grounded in the Lord. Even though the world may oppose or hate the believer, we were encouraged to remain bold and unashamed of our faith. We also reflected on the challenges faced by early believers, especially during periods when Christians could not gather openly because of persecution. In examining Church history, we discussed notable figures such as Clement of Rome, Martin Luther, and John Calvin, highlighting their contributions to the advancement of the Christian faith and the preservation of doctrine.Furthermore, we explored significant revival movements such as the Azusa Street Revival, which played a major role in restoring the acts of speaking in tongues to the Church. Through the sacrifices and labor of many faithful men and women across generations, the Church has continued to progress in light and understanding. Because of this, our pastor cautioned us not to become prideful when exposed to greater revelation, as receiving more light does not make one superior to others with lesser understanding. Without the labor and sacrifices of previous generations, many of the truths we now enjoy would not have been accessible to us.We also spoke extensively about Kenneth E. Hagin, a man greatly used by God, who testified that Jesus appeared to him eight times to teach him the Scriptures. Particular attention was given to one of his prophecies during the 1988 camp meeting, and we briefly discussed how aspects of that prophecy relate to present-day realities within the Church and the world. Finally, we emphasized that every new light or revelation given by God is meant to lead us into deeper knowledge and intimacy with Him. As believers, we should never become complacent with only one level of understanding of God. Instead, we must continually hunger and press for more, allowing God to reveal Himself to us increasingly.

(2026_04_29) - Understanding Mysteries and the Importance of Revelation in the Church - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we began by exploring the concept of power and how its expression has differed across biblical history. By comparing Moses and Jesus, we saw that it may seem as though Moses demonstrated greater power through dramatic signs like the parting of the Red Sea and the provision for Israelites in the wilderness. In contrast, the ministries of Jesus and Paul may appear less marked by such large-scale wonders. This can lead to the misconception that figures like Paul were less empowered by God, simply because their works did not always manifest in outwardly spectacular ways. However, we were taught a deeper truth: as one grows in the knowledge of the mysteries of God, there is often less emphasis on outward miracles. Spiritual maturity shifts from what is seen to what is spiritually discerned and understood. We also examined the nature of these mysteries, emphasizing that they are not rooted in academic excellence or intellectual ability. Academic intelligence does not equate to spiritual understanding.Mysteries are divine truths that were once hidden but are now revealed by God to those who seek Him.Furthermore, we established that Jesus Christ Himself is the embodiment of these mysteries. To know Him is to encounter and understand the very truths that God desires to reveal to humanity. Our pastor stressed the centrality of mysteries in the life of a believer. According to Mark 4:11, access to the kingdom of God is tied to the understanding of these mysteries. Without engaging with them, one cannot fully participate in the realities of God’s kingdom. In addition, we saw from 1 Corinthians 2:7 that the wisdom of God is communicated through mysteries. Likewise, Ephesians 1:9 teaches that understanding God’s will is only possible through the revelation of these mysteries.Lastly, we considered that even marriage, as instituted by God, is itself a mystery (Ephesians 5:25–32), pointing beyond the physical union to a deeper spiritual reality that reflects Christ and the Church. In conclusion, we were reminded of the importance of giving ourselves fully to the gospel, which is fundamentally a teaching of mysteries. As we grow in the revelation of these truths, our fellowship with the Lord deepens, and Christ is progressively formed within us.

(2026_04_23) - Contending for the Faith - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, created especially for the Gadites senior members, the focus is on how we must contend for the faith and remain steadfast in our walk with God. It emphasizes the importance of standing firm in sound doctrine, guarding against spiritual compromise, and remaining rooted in truth despite the challenges and distractions of our time. Special attention is given to the need for submission to spiritual authority, honoring leadership, and understanding the wisdom and protection that come from staying within the covering and guidance of brethren. It also speaks to the importance of remaining within the confines of the brethren, walking in accountability, unity, and fellowship rather than drifting into isolation or independence that can weaken spiritual stability. This message is a call to spiritual maturity, humility, boldness, and unwavering commitment to the values and convictions of our faith. It encourages believers to defend the gospel with wisdom and remain faithful to the mission God has entrusted to us, which is to bring us into his life.

(2026_04_22) - X-raying the Lifestyle of the Early Church - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, our Pastor gave a deeper understanding of the lifestyle of the early Church, with a thorough study of the Book of Acts.We began by establishing that the term “church” does not refer to a physical building, but to a people, specifically, the souls of believers.Furthermore, we examined the distinction between progress in a local assembly and progress in the Church of the Lord. Advancement in roles or hierarchy (such as moving from an usher to a pastor) does not necessarily reflect true spiritual growth. As such, we must prioritize our spiritual progress in the church above titles or positions within a local assembly. We also highlighted the importance of fellowship among believers. The culture of a believer is not isolation, but community. We need fellow brethren for spiritual safety, accountability, and stability, so that we are not tossed to and fro by worldly influences and desires. In addition, drawing from Acts 8:14–16, we saw that it is possible to be born again without being filled with the Holy Spirit. It was taught that the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, therefore distinguishing the new birth from the infilling experience. Finally, we addressed the ongoing work of transformation in the believer’s life. Being born again does not automatically eliminate the lusts of the soul. Therefore, we must continually pursue the mysteries of the gospel, allowing the Word and the Spirit to refine us until our hearts are fully aligned with the Lord.

(2026_04_15) - Understanding the Purpose of the Bible - Pastor Israel Ajiboye.

In this episode, our Pastor laid an understanding of the purpose and necessity of Scripture in the life of man.We began by establishing that the Bible became necessary because of the fall of man. Before the fall, Adam, while in the Garden of Eden, did not require written scripture, as he lived in direct fellowship and alignment with God. However, after the fall, written scripture was given as a guide to restore man back to God’s intended way of living. It was also explained that angels do not have a written Bible, yet they function according to scripture which is, in a sense, “built into” them.We then examined the structure of the Bible, noting that it consists of 66 books: 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. The Old Testament was outlined in its major divisions, the Law, Historical Books, Wisdom Literature, and the Prophetic Books. The New Testament, on the other hand, contains the Gospels, which reveal the life and ministry of Christ, and the Epistles, which provide doctrinal instruction and guidance for the Church.Furthermore, we explored the role of the five-fold ministry as described in Ephesians 4:11–12; apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. They are given for the perfecting of the saints and, play a vital role in unveiling the scriptures to believers. We also emphasized the central purpose of the Bible, as seen in James 1:21 (Receive with meekness the engraved word which is able to save your souls). This shows that Scripture is not merely historical or informational, but transformational in its intent. In addition, we were reminded of our responsibility as believers to depend on the Holy Spirit for revelation. True understanding of Scripture is not achieved by intellect alone, but by the Holy Spirit, who brings clarity and life to the Word. Finally, we addressed the issue of being distracted by discussions about “lost books” of the Bible. It was emphasized that the Bible, as we have it, is complete and divinely inspired, written by men under the orchestration of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our focus should remain on understanding, believing, and living out the truth already revealed in Scripture.

(2026_04_08) - Understanding the Lively Hope of the Gospel Part 2 - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, our Pastor continued to build on our understanding of the hope of the believer as revealed through the gospel. We saw that what positions a believer for wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of him is faith in the Lord Jesus and love towards all saints, as seen in Ephesians 1:15–19. These are not optional, but necessary conditions that open the heart to divine understanding. Our Pastor also showed us that the reason for different “sheepfolds” within the body of Christ is largely because of our different response to the truth found in the word.Furthermore, we explored using various bible verses the distinction between conditional and certain statements in Scripture. For example, in Ephesians 1:18, the phrase “the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened” reveals a possibility, not a guarantee. In contrast, Acts 14:22 states that “we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God,” emphasizing a necessity, an unavoidable pathway in the believer’s journey. We also saw clearly the true hope of believers. It was emphasized that our hope is not simply “making heaven.” Rather, the inheritance prepared for us is described in 1 Peter 1:4 as incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading. This shifts our perspective from a location-based hope to a nature-based inheritance.Ultimately, our hope is both a promise and a person Jesus Christ Himself, as revealed in 1 Timothy 1:1. This hope works within us to simplify our lives, detaching us from the fleeting hopes of this world and aligning our hearts toward a consistent pursuit of the Lord.In conclusion, we were reminded that the life of a believer is one marked by hunger, alignment, and a growing fixation on Christ and God as our ultimate inheritance. True hope reshapes our desires, refines our focus, and leads us into a life that steadily conforms to Him.

(2026_04_01) - Understanding the Lively Hope of the Gospel - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we took a deep and reflective look at the true nature of the hope that is revealed through the gospel. Hope is defined as a firm conviction of knowing something, believing it, and continually walking toward it.We were taught that hope was central to the very creation of man. Man was created and formed with the hope of being made in the image and likeness of God. However, this original hope was lost after the fall of the first man, leading to a gradual distortion and degradation of what man began to live for.Through the gospel, God seeks to restore and redefine our hope. As seen in Ephesians 1:18, the gospel is meant to reveal the hope of our calling. This hope is not found in earthly pursuits, but it is our Lord Jesus Christ, as declared in 1 Timothy 1:1. We are called to be conformed to His image, and this should become the ultimate desire and pursuit of every believer. Any hope outside of this is ultimately empty and without lasting value. Our Pastor emphasized that the reward of the gospel is not material gain like money, fame, or status that can exist apart from God. Rather, the true reward is Jesus Christ Himself, who embodies the very hope we are called to pursue. Finally, we learned that spiritual growth is measured by the clarity of this hope. A growing Christian is one whose vision of the hope becomes sharper and more defined each day. This growth comes through continual hearing of the Word of God, understanding, and walking in it.

(2026_03_18) - Understanding The Nature of Sin and the Path to Seeking God - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we explored the purpose of the Law of Moses, emphasizing that its primary aim was to bring man into righteousness. However, because the law was administered through the limitations of the flesh and expressed through external or carnal ordinances, its purpose was weakened. This shows that man needs a deeper work of transformation that could not be accomplished through merely outward conformity, but through an inward working, which makes men “Jews inwardly”, those who are understanding and seeking God.This made the need for the New Covenant clear. Under the Old Testament, worship often centered around physical ordinances, sacred locations, and symbolic practices that pointed forward to greater spiritual realities. As Hebrews 10:1 explains, these were shadows of the good things to come. In the New Testament, believers are called not merely to follow shadows, but to live in the reality those symbols anticipated, reflecting God’s work inwardly through spiritual renewal. This episode also examines the meaning of the statement, “the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” We discuss how the law, when approached solely as an external code, exposes sin without providing the power to overcome it, thereby making one more sinful, while the Spirit brings life by transforming the believer from within. The call of the New Covenant is therefore not just outward compliance, but becoming true worshippers who worship God in spirit and in truth. We further reflect on the nature of sin, describing it as a corrupted form of wisdom that originated in rebellion against God. Overcoming sin, therefore, requires more than human effort; it requires divine wisdom and grace given by the Lord. Any hope or pursuit that is not rooted in salvation ultimately falls short of God’s eternal purpose. Finally, our Pastor emphasizes the believer’s continual call to seek after the Lord. Salvation is not meant to be a casual desire but the deepest longing of the heart, the very thing our souls hunger and thirst for above all else. This episode invites listeners to move beyond outward religion into a living, inward relationship with God marked by transformation, truth, and spiritual life.

(2026_03_05) - Handling Graduate School with Grace - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we explore how believers can navigate the demands of graduate school with wisdom, humility, and grace. Graduate studies often come with intense academic pressure, research expectations, deadlines, and moments of uncertainty. As believers, we are called to approach these challenges with a different mindset, recognizing God as the source of our strength, understanding, and direction. This discussion highlights the importance of depending on God’s grace while pursuing academic excellence. Rather than relying solely on personal ability or becoming overwhelmed by the pressures of graduate life, believers are encouraged to cultivate a posture of trust, prayer, discipline, and perseverance. Through this perspective, graduate school becomes not only a place of intellectual growth but also a season of spiritual formation and character development. In addition to these spiritual insights, the episode also provides practical guidelines for handling the realities of graduate school, such as managing time effectively, staying organized with research and coursework, maintaining balance, and approaching academic responsibilities with diligence and integrity.Join us as we reflect on how believers can walk through the journey of graduate school with grace, honoring God in their studies while growing in wisdom, discipline, and purpose.

(2026_03_11) - Understanding the Believer’s Hope in this Last Time - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we took a deep dive into critically examining the path of a believer toward salvation. Building on previous teachings, our Pastor showed us how we are supposed to journey to Mount Zion, which represents becoming Christ, and then to the City of God, where believers are called to become like the Father, fully aligned with His nature. We explore the hope promised to all who follow Christ and why attaining this hope is essential for spiritual maturity. As Pastor Israel Ajiboye often emphasizes, daily engagement with God’s Word and obedience to the promptings of the Holy Spirit are the keys that draw us closer to fulfilling our calling. This episode explores the realities of the last days and the spiritual battle against the dragon, Satan, and his fallen angels. Our Pastor explains why believers cannot overcome the dragon without continually feeding on God’s Word. We also examine the “heaven of heavens,” describing the different categories of angels in each realm:The Stars of God: representing might and dominion in the first heaven. The Seraphim: dwelling in the second heaven, also called the mountain of God or the mount of congregation. The Cherubim: residing in the third heaven, the heights of the clouds, which is Paradise.Additionally, we discuss how Satan and his fallen angels currently occupy the “heaven of the earth,” referred to in Scripture as the air, and how Adam’s disobedience allowed this realm to fall under enemy control. Finally, we discuss the believer’s calling to reclaim spiritual authority, overthrow the enemy, and clear the way for the Lord to send forth His angels to execute His will on earth. This episode is a profound call to spiritual vigilance, obedience, and hope in God’s ultimate plan, showing how believers can grow from being in Christ at Mount Zion to fully becoming like the Father in the City of God.

(2026_03_04) - Questions and Answers on the Spirit, Soul, and Body of Man - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, our Pastor answered questions about the spirit, soul, and body of man, which we have been exploring over the past six weeks. The Lord desires that we grow in understanding of every part of our being. As we’ve discussed, the spirit is the inner man. It is the part of us that receives salvation when we believe in and confess the Lord Jesus Christ. The soul, however, requires intentional renewal through the Word of God, obedience, and transformation. The body, too, will ultimately share in salvation as the work of God is completed in us.As believers, we are called to present our spirit, soul, and body blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a lifelong journey of surrender, growth, and alignment with God’s will. Therefore, let us devote ourselves to hearing and applying the Word, that we may be conformed to the image of the Son of God.If you have any questions, we would love to hear from you. (2026_02_25) - Understanding the Body of Man - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In today’s episode, we take a deeper look at the nature of the body and its role in the journey of a believer. We established that the body is the vessel that houses the spirit and the soul, and that what is done in the body on earth carries eternal significance. Our actions in the body determine the judgment we will face, and our Pastor carefully distinguished between the judgment of a believer and that of an unbeliever. We emphasized the urgency of receiving salvation while we are still in the body, because our reward is dependent on what is done in our bodies. We also explored the truth that the body is not our own but belongs to the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:19). While the soul often seeks to express its desires through the body, we are called to exercise discipline and keep the body under subjection. Finally, we discussed the necessity of having faith for healing in the body. Faith is described as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. We learn to receive what we desire in faith before having it (Mark 11:24). The body, therefore, is very important for God’s plan and central to fulfilling His purpose for our lives.

(2026_02_18) - Understanding the Salvation of the Soul - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In today’s episode, we take a deeper and more intentional look at the salvation of the soul. We examine God’s original intent for man, recognizing that salvation was not an afterthought in response to sin, but his eternal purpose from the very beginning. We also unpacked that a saved man is one who no longer has the ability to turn away from the Lord. From there, we explored the journey of the saving the soul. It begins with continually giving ourselves to the hearing of the Word. Through hearing, we begin to see, our spiritual perception changes, and we behold the Lord according to the revelation we have received. From seeing, we move into believing, not just mentally agreeing, but living out the Word we have heard. Finally, we come into witnessing, the full embodiment and expression of what we have heard, seen, and believed. Each stage builds upon the other, forming a pathway into maturity. We also discussed the seriousness required in our spiritual walk, emphasizing that growth does not happen casually. Our pastor proceeded to explain the three divisions of the Word: milk, meat, and strong meat, and the role they play in our spiritual growth.Lastly, it was strongly reinforced that the salvation of the soul cannot be accomplished without the Holy Ghost.

(2026_02_11) - Understanding the Soul of Man Part 2 - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In today’s episode, we take an in-depth exploration of the human soul and its central role in the life of a believer. We examine what the soul truly is, how it functions, and why Scripture places such importance on its condition and direction. Focusing on the mind and the heart as core components of the soul, we unpack how our thoughts, beliefs, desires, and affections shape our daily lives. We also got a better understanding of the sheep-like nature of the soul, its capacity to follow, to trust, and to be guided, while acknowledging how this same nature makes it vulnerable to influence, deception, and misalignment when not anchored in God’s truth. From there, our Pastor explained why the soul must undergo continual transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit.Going deeper, our pastor breaks down the inner dimensions of the soul, including the intellect, emotions, will, and conscience, and examines how each operates, where it can become distorted, and how each is meant to function when submitted to God. We explore how the intellect discerns knowledge, how emotions respond to feelings, how the will chooses obedience or resistance, and how the conscience accuses or excuses based on the knowledge the soul has been exposed to.Finally, our pastor addresses why every aspect of the soul must be brought into submission to the Spirit of God, and what it looks like to live a life where the soul walks in harmony with the Spirit rather than in conflict with Him. This episode invites believers to pursue spiritual maturity, deeper discernment, and lasting transformation by allowing God to fully shepherd the soul.

(2026_02_04) - Understanding the Soul of Man - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In today’s episode, we take a deep and thoughtful look at the soul of man and how its condition affects our journey as believers. We say why certain addictions, strongholds, and patterns of sin can be so difficult to overcome, even after salvation (of our spirit), and how these struggles often originate in the state of the soul.Drawing from Scripture, we see that the soul can be wounded, hardened, or misaligned, and that true freedom begins when God’s Word penetrates and renews it. As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” It is through the Word that we gain clarity, direction, and the power to break strongholds that have held us captive. We’ll also see why the renewal of the soul is essential, as Romans 12:2 calls us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind,” and how increasing in hunger and thirst for God’s Word, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:6, is a critical step toward lasting victory.Join us as Pastor Israel unpacks how aligning the soul with God’s truth brings not only freedom from sin and death, but also a deeper intimacy with Him, opening the door to abundant life.

(2026_01_28) - Understanding the spirit of Man - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, our Pastor took an in-depth and scripture-centered exploration of one of the fundamental components of the tripartite nature of man, the human spirit. We examine what the Bible teaches about the state of the human spirit before salvation and what truly occurs when a person believes in Jesus Christ. Drawing from Scripture, we explore the spiritual transformation that occurs at regeneration and how this new life in Christ reshapes our identity, perception, and relationship with God.He also explored the various ways the word “spirit” is used throughout the Bible, whether referring to the human spirit, the Spirit of God, attitudes, breath, or spiritual realities. Because these meanings often overlap, they can easily lead to misunderstanding if not carefully distinguished.Through thoughtful biblical analysis, we clarify these distinctions and show how context determines meaning, helping listeners develop a more accurate and mature understanding of Scripture. Our goal is not only to inform, but to equip believers to rightly divide the Word of truth, grow in spiritual discernment, and walk more intentionally in the life of the Spirit.

Additionally, he addressed a common area of confusion by carefully examining the difference between the tripartite nature of man and the Trinity, clarifying why these concepts are not the same and how scripture describes each one.
