Good Morning Sunshines ~ Waking up to see perspective reveals miracles

I’ve been shouting “Good morning sunshine”, obnoxiously, since I was a small child - always seeking joy, light and positivity. But when my youngest of 4 children was diagnosed with a rare & incurable cancer, blood & immune disease at the age of 1 1/2… My followers were certain they would catch me in the act of “faking” my happy. What they found instead were authentic shares as we endured 1.5 years of chemotherapy - the good, the bad, the ugly… & the beauty all around it. This podcast reflects upon life & the different ways we get to approach it seeing that perspective reveals miracles. 💕

Masking or Not Whatevs... — What About Your REAL Immune Health?

Hop in the time machine with me—because this episode is straight outta my live video archives from over five years ago! Back when face filters were a thing, I greeted every person who popped in, and background noise (like blenders and babies) was just part of the deal. It’s unpolished, it’s real, and it’s packed with the kind of gold you only get from raw, real-life lessons. Let’s go!This message came during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when everyone was deep in debate over masks, mandates, and media mayhem. But instead of getting lost in the chaos, I took a different route—one that still matters today.Straight from the global pandemic era of 2021... let's peak back in?This episode is all about flipping the focus inward and asking the bigger question: What are you doing for your health proactively? How are you supporting your immune system and overall well-being? Whether it’s a global crisis or just a stressful Tuesday, your body and mind need consistent care.Masks or no masks, vaccines or not—there’s one thing we all have power over: how we treat our bodies every single day.#GoodMorningSunshine #OwnYourHealth #ProactiveWellness #StrongFromWithin #HealthyHabitsMatter

Want to Be a Better Mom, Wife, or Friend? Start Here.

Let’s go!In this short but powerful message, I share three ways to become a better mom, wife, and friend—and spoiler alert: it all starts with how you treat you.The way you show up to your own life—your health, happiness, patience, ambition, and self-worth—is a direct reflection of how you show up for everyone else. When you pour into yourself, you increase your ability to pour into others. But when you believe it’s “selfish” to care for yourself first, you end up running on empty. This episode is a wake-up call to flip that belief and recognize that self-love isn’t selfish—it’s service. When your light shines brighter, everyone around you gets to bask in it.Start LOVING yourself, start TAKING TIME for yourself, start INVESTING in yourself!#GoodMorningSunshine #SelfCareIsNotSelfish #ShineFromWithin #BetterMomBetterMe #FillYourCupFirst

    Shavasana Through the Storm

Hop in the time machine with me—because this episode is straight outta my live video archives from over five years ago! Back when face filters were a thing, I greeted every person who popped in, and background noise (like blenders and babies) was just part of the deal. It’s unpolished, it’s real, and it’s packed with the kind of gold you only get from raw, real-life lessons. Let’s go!After four years of practicing yoga—despite being wildly resistant to it at first—I had a breakthrough moment during a Bikram class. The second half of class is slower, stretching-based, and sandwiched with shavasana (corpse pose) between each posture. The point? To find peace quickly between challenges. This episode explores how that lesson—finding calm amid chaos—became one of the greatest tools of my life. And in hindsight, it’s even more meaningful: I recorded this just 8 months before the biggest storm of my life hit—when my sweet baby boy was diagnosed with a rare cancer.Yoga didn’t just stretch my body. It stretched my soul.Do you know how to shavasana your way through life?#GoodMorningSunshine #YogaLifeLessons #FindYourCalm #StormProofSoul #MindfulMotherhood

Let’s go!In this soft-spoken episode (recorded from a cozy Panera booth), we press pause on the chaos and reflect on something simple but deeply important: happiness. What actually makes you happy? I walk you through a 5-minute brainstorm session where you list the big and little things that light you up—yes, even the tiny joys like hot coffee or your favorite socks. Then, we step back and evaluate:What are you doing daily? What do you prioritize weekly? And which of these things have you never actually made time for? This is a practical, heart-centered reset for anyone feeling off, out of alignment, or just overdue for a little joy inventory.#GoodMorningSunshine #FindYourHappy #JoyInventory #PaneraPhilosophy #PracticalJoy

Let’s go!This episode starts with a laugh—a story about the first time my 2½-year-old dropped the F-bomb (thanks, Dad 😅)—but quickly turns into something much deeper. Because what our kids say, think, and believe? That starts with us.Whether we realize it or not, our little ones are absorbing everything. They’re watching how we treat others, how we talk to ourselves, how we navigate stress, how we handle conflict—and it’s becoming part of the blueprint for their lives. So today is a playful but powerful reminder: the energy, language, and behaviors you model are being mirrored. Want to raise a joyful, tenacious, kind human? Be one. They’re always watching. Phones became lifelines and then crutches. And educators, parents, and students alike were navigating a totally new world with little direction. This is a time capsule moment—a look back at what we were facing and how hard we were working to just figure it out. It’s a reminder of how much grace we needed (and still need), and how messy progress can look when you’re in the thick of it.Sometimes growth means relearning how to be human together.#GoodMorningSunshine #PostPandemicLife #TeenMentalHealth #GraceInTheMess #RelearnTogether

I break it down in everyday language, reminding you that your life doesn’t magically improve just because time passes. And no, not the unhealthy kind. I’m talking about the kind of focused, passion-fueled drive that makes you push through resistance, even when the journey gets messy (and let’s be honest—it will). We talk about choosing a goal you’re borderline obsessed with—something you care so deeply about that it pulls you forward. You won’t love every moment, but when you fall in love with the process and the outcome? That’s where transformation lives. Also: yes, it’s loud. I’m literally in the nutrition club making shakes. You Can’t Control the Crash—But You Can Control the Prep

Another episode from one of my original live videos—recorded back in the day on my phone before podcasting was cool. It’s raw, real, and sometimes delightfully interrupted by life (aka kids), but packed with gold. Enjoy the throwback vibe! After a peaceful yoga class and cruising home in my brand new Challenger, I found myself in a multi-semi pileup on I-25. My car? Wrecked. My body? Miraculously okay. But what really stood out wasn’t just how I reacted—it was how I had prepared long before this moment. In this episode, I unpack what it means to respond instead of react. I share how years of mindset training, financial planning, and inner work shaped my ability to stay calm, centered, and even grateful after a literal crash. From the power of daily mental practices to building the kind of life where chaos doesn’t derail you, this is a deep dive into the invisible prep work that shapes how we show up when life hits hard. This isn’t just about staying chill in a crisis—it’s about building a life that allows you to.#GoodMorningSunshine #MindsetMatters #PrepareToRespond #GraceUnderPressure #RealTalkWithCaley

11 Years Back, 11 Years Forward: Are You Living the Life You Want?

Another episode from one of my original live videos circa 2017—recorded back in the day on my phone before podcasting was cool. It’s raw, real, and sometimes delightfully interrupted by live comments and interaction , but packed with gold. Enjoy the throwback vibe!In this episode, I start with a simple but powerful prompt: 11 years have passed… and 11 more will too. Together, we pause to reflect on where we were over a decade ago—what we were doing, what we believed, and how life has shaped us since. Were the past 11 years filled with intentional choices? Did they reflect your values? Did you grow and live in a state that makes you feel proud? Or were you stuck in a pattern of blame or relenting to a thought that life happens to you and you have no choices in the matter? Then we look ahead: Where will you be 11 years from now if nothing changes? Yes you know how old you will be and your children... but what version of you will exist then—and is that who you want to become? This episode invites you to visualize, reflect, and most of all—choose. Time will pass either way. So let’s decide how we want to grow through it.#IntentionalLiving #VisualizationPractice #LifeReflection #GoodMorningSunshine #FutureYou

If you’ve been feeling stuck or like life keeps handing you the same junk on repeat, this might be the reset you didn’t know you needed. I walk through relatable examples of how your focus determines what you attract and show you how to shift that focus to start changing your life. You’re not stuck—you’re just looking in the wrong direction. Quick DDP - daily does of perspective about your focus and thoughts. We can't hear this lesson enough. It is a reality that you will be pulled towards whatever your mind and heart is on. The unfortunate part of that is that our minds often spend time in the worry zone of what we don't want...which results in just getting more of that. So let's not.

10 Minutes a Day Can Change Your Life

I was doing a 'miracle morning routine' before I even knew what that was. Over the last 13 years, I have established many different ways to incorporate positive tools at the start of my day in order to find more joy and success. In todays episode I provide insight to the tools that I have found to be the most successful at their core. Life often presents different chapters and challenges that make an hour long positivity and productivity routine seem impossible. So let's take it to the basics!

    Goals or One Word?

A conversation about positively moving forward in your life with a quick tangible practice. In today's episode we take the time to take inventory on 7 different areas of our life. As we assess what we have and what we want, we move forward into the question of what area we want to focus on most and how to adapt to best suit our needs. That may be in a one word practice or full on goal setting. It doesn't have to be a new year to do this practice, but it sure is a great excuse!

DDP #27 - Now is the time vs. The time is now

Ok I seriously butchered this... but its gonna make sense if you stick it out. Now is the time = Now is the time to act, to move, to go, to get off your butt and get it done. Now is the time insinuates you should be doing MORE. It insinuates living in the future. The time is now = "Hey what time is it?" ..."It's NOW". Like this exact very minute and second is your chance to BE and experience. The time is now insinuates living in the present. So the question is - can you do them both at the same time or how do you flow between them? As always, please comment if you join and say Good Morning Sunshine to spread the love!! Does that sound make you cringe...or does it make you want to punch someone in the face as an almost knee jerk reaction? In today's daily dose of perspective we talk about what misophonia is and what it is not and how you can support people who have it. (and no that is not by chucking your hot cup of coffee at a fence) As always, please comment if you join and say Good Morning Sunshine to spread the love!!  Then share something you are grateful for while I gab away because that can help you get into an even more positive mental state.  I am on a mission to light up the world by offering people the opportunity to recognize the joy that surrounds them in this minute.  I understand that life serves some highly challenging lessons and situations (like my sons incurable rare cancer) but I fully acknowledge all that we can do to claim happiness as our own.  Finally, please SHARE so that we can impact as many lives as possible.  While social media can provide a lot of anxiety, stress, comparison and lost time...it has the ability to positively serve the world and the more of us who are on board with sharing positive things, the more supportive socials will become 💕 Subscribe for our daily live 8am MST chat or to come drop in at your convenience!! DDP #18 - When I Grow Up I'm Gonna Be A...

We ask our kids all of the time, "what are you gonna be when you grow up?" And they answer excitedly and often have 5 different responses depending on their mood and the time of the day. THEY HAVE IT RIGHT. For most of us there has never been one answer to this question and it is likely evolving and changing. Because as we grow, so does our purpose. In today's daily dose of perspective we talk about our evolving journey and how to keep moving through and growing. It is tempting to get stuck, because stuck is easy. But it is not much fun. DDP #17 - Trauma and Timing...will I ever heal?

As we celebrate my chemo warriors 4th birthday, I reflect on the journey it took to get here. We spent his second birthday connected to an infusion pole for almost 8 hours as he received an incredibly harsh and challenging chemotherapy that landed us in a week long hospital stay. In todays Daily Dose of Perspective, I get real about trauma and what it ls looks like to move through it and what it looks like on the other side. Might not be a light and fluffy conversation but it's a truth of life and these points can help us not only survive it but thrive through it! ... You Pick the Fight Because You Pick the Story - DDP #9

You have a story. You've been working on it for a lifetime. In your mind there is an internal dialogue about what your life looks like: What your marriage looks like... What your finances look like... What your friendships look like... What your career looks like... What you look like... Your story is a culmination of your chosen focus of your yesterdays and yesteryears. And because of this story, you show up a very specific way in your todays in order to make sure you do everything in action and thought to validate that story. If you think your marriage is broken you will do everything you can to pick a fight and continue it's brokenness. If you think you will never be valuable enough to earn 6 figures or even more, you will self sabotage to keep your finances how they are. If you think your friendships are difficult, you will show up to make sure they are always difficult without even noticing what's simple. If you think you are stuck in your career, you will never make a move or truly seek out something that would make you happy. And if you think you just can't lose the weight or recover your health, you will consistently focus on and take action to make sure that you are right. Because here is the thing. We all want to be right and most of us will do anything we can to prove that we are. So when we create our core beliefs about ourselves and our lives, we will do everything we can to validate and create that reality... even if it's completely subconsciously. You Made That ALL Up

A conversation about your ability to make up stories and how that is molding your entire life. Here is the thing... throughout our day things happen. - A friend calls, a friend doesn't call. - Our spouse reacts, our spouse doesn't react. - Emojis are used, emojis aren't used. - Your invited to blank, you aren't invited to blank. And as life happens, most of us start writing a story in our head of the why around it all. We make assumptions that turn into a run on sentence that likely is far from the truth...but we make it our truth. Today we are diving into the 3rd Agreement from the Four Agreements - Don't make assumptions.

ABOUT THIS SHOW
