21. Samadhi: Experiencing the State of Divine Union
In this final episode of our journey through Patanjali’s 8 Limbs of Yoga, we explore Samadhi, the eighth limb and ultimate goal of yoga, the complete absorption in divine consciousness. This is what yoga actually means: union— the dissolution of all separation between you and the divine.Samadhi is about remembering what you’ve always been, infinite consciousness temporarily expressing itself as a human being. And while full enlightenment may take lifetimes of practice, even glimpses of this union change everything. You are already what you’re seeking. You just have to remember. To learn more visit: throughtheveil11.substack.comWork with me:Book a Life Path Numerology & Tarot ReadingBook an Energy Healing SessionSchedule a Free ConsultMeditate with me:Listen to my Meditations Get full access to Lately with Lexi at latelywithlexi.substack.com/subscribe

20. Dhyana: The Art of Meditation
Have you ever sat down to meditate and felt like you were failing because you couldn’t stop your thoughts? The reason most people struggle meditating isn’t that they’re doing it wrong; it’s because they’re trying to skip steps they haven’t built yet.In this episode of Through the Veil, we explore Dhyana, the seventh limb of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and discover the difference between concentration and meditation. Dhyana is what happens when your practice of focus becomes so stable that effort dissolves and you simply rest in awareness. You’re not trying to quiet your mind—you’re recognizing yourself as the space in which all thoughts arise and pass. Meditation isn’t something you do. It’s what you are when everything else dissolves.

19. Dharana: The Power of One-Pointed Focus
How many browser tabs do you have open right now? How many times have you checked your phone today? How many different thoughts have passed through your mind in the last five minutes? If you’re like most people, your attention is scattered across a dozen different things at any given moment. And this constant mental fragmentation is costing you more than you realize. It’s draining your energy, diluting your creative power, and blocking you from manifesting what you truly desire. In this episode of Through the Veil, we explore Dharana, the sixth limb of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga, and discover the ancient practice of one-pointed concentration. This isn’t just about improving focus for productivity; it’s about mastering your attention so you can become an intentional co-creator of your reality.

18. Pratyahara: The Art of Turning Inward
When was the last time you went an entire day without checking your phone? Without scrolling social media? Without consuming any content at all?We live in a world designed to hijack your attention. From the moment you wake up, your senses are bombarded—notifications, emails, news, screens everywhere. Your attention is constantly being pulled outward, and this relentless sensory overload is keeping you disconnected from your own inner guidance system. In this episode of Through the Veil, we explore Pratyahara, the fifth limb of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and discover the practice of sense withdrawal. This isn’t about becoming numb or disconnected, it’s about learning to master your senses so they serve you instead of control you.I’ll share three practical ways to begin practicing pratyahara: daily silence periods, mindful sense withdrawal throughout your day, and the restorative practice of Yoga Nidra. The peace you’re seeking isn’t out there, it’s within you, waiting beneath all the noise.

17. Pranayama: The Spiritual Science of Breath
Your breath has been with you since your first moment on this earth, and it will be with you until your last. Yet most of us go through life barely aware of it, treating it as nothing more than an automatic function to keep us alive. But what if your breath is actually the most powerful spiritual tool you have? What if it’s the bridge between your physical body and your divine nature, between the chaos of your mind and the stillness of your soul?In this episode, we explore Pranayama, the fourth limb of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and discover why the ancient yogis understood breath as spiritual technology—not breathwork for productivity or performance, but a sacred practice that clears the veil so you can connect to your inner divinity and Christ consciousness.I’ll guide you through three classical pranayama techniques that you can use immediately: Nadi Shodhana for balancing your nervous system, Bhramari for calming anxiety, and Kumbhaka for accessing the profound stillness between breaths.Whether you’re completely overwhelmed or just seeking deeper peace, these practices meet you exactly where you are.The most powerful tool you’ve been seeking has been with you all along—it’s your breath.

Beyond flexibility and fitness, asana is the art of cultivating steadiness and ease within the body so the mind can become still and receptive to higher awareness. You’ll learn how yoga postures were originally designed to prepare the body for meditation, why the balance between effort and surrender is central to yoga philosophy, and how listening to your body can transform your practice into a living prayer and a direct experience of communion with the divine.

12. Santosha: Finding Peace in Enough
What if I told you that the relentless chase for more, more success, more space, more achievement is actually stealing your happiness?I learned this the hard way. After landing my dream home in Nashville (pool, sunroom, recording studio, the works), the roof started leaking, and suddenly my “perfect life” became a source of constant stress. That’s when it hit me: I’d been chasing contentment in all the wrong places. Here’s what nobody tells us:Social media algorithms are literally designed to make us feel like we’re not enough. Every scroll through someone else’s highlight reel drains our dopamine and deepens our discontent. And it’s costing us more than we realize—our peace, our presence, our ability to experience joy right now. This week’s episode reveals the ancient practice of Santosha (contentment) and why Patanjali promised it would bring “unsurpassed happiness.” Not the kind that comes from finally getting what you want, but the profound freedom of wanting nothing more than what you already have.If you’ve ever felt exhausted from constantly moving goalposts, comparing yourself to others, or believing happiness is always one milestone away, this episode will change how you see everything. 11. Saucha: Purity as a Path to Clarity
What if the clarity you’ve been seeking isn’t found in another online course, mastermind, or self-help book, but in the simple act of cleansing? Cleansing your body, your mind, your environment, your energy? For over a decade, I’ve practiced and guided others through seasonal cleansing rooted in Ayurveda and herbalism. Kitchari cleanses, personalized detox protocols, and daily purification rituals have taught me that when you cleanse the physical body, something profound shifts in the mind and spirit. Clarity emerges. Old patterns release. Space opens. This episode explores Saucha—the outer work of cleansing our bodies and environments and the inner work of purifying our thoughts, relationships, and energy. Because ultimately, purity is an act of devotion. When we commit to this spiritual path, we open ourselves to divine guidance and alignment with our life’s true purpose.

10. Apgriaraha: Detachment as Ultimate Freedom
What if the freedom you’ve been seeking isn’t found in acquiring more, but in releasing your grip on what you already have?In this final episode of our yamas series, we explore Aparigraha—the practice of non-grasping and non-possessiveness.Living in a culture of instant gratification, same-day delivery, and relentless consumerism, we’ve been conditioned to believe that happiness lies in accumulation. But the ancient yogis understood something we’re only beginning to remember: possessions possess us. They require our time, energy, and attention, leaving us exhausted under the weight of our own accumulation. This week, I’m sharing my personal experience living in a 375-square-foot apartment in France and discovering how less created space for more—more presence, more creativity, more freedom. We’ll explore how detachment isn’t about caring less, but about loving more freely. How opening our hands both literally and metaphorically creates space to receive what’s trying to flow toward us. And how the practice of letting go, physically and spiritually, reveals a profound truth: you are not your possessions, your achievements, or your identities. You are already whole, complete, and free.To learn more visit: throughtheveil11.substack.comWork with me:Book a Life Path Numerology & Tarot ReadingBook an Energy Healing SessionSchedule a Free ConsultResources Mentioned:Last Week’s Episode on BrahmacharyaThe 3rd Yama: AsteyaThe 2nd Yama: SatyaThe 1st Yama: AhimsaThe Origins of Yoga ArticleWomen of Hope By: MorleyMeditate with me:Listen to my Meditations Get full access to Lately with Lexi at latelywithlexi.substack.com/subscribe

9. Brahmacharya: Non-Excess and Energy Conservation
How much of your energy are you unconsciously giving away? In a culture that glorifies excess, more productivity, more consumption, more stimulation, we’ve forgotten that vitality comes not from doing more, but from consciously choosing where we invest our life force.Brahmacharya, the fourth yama in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, invites us to examine our relationship with excess and moderation. Traditionally interpreted as celibacy, this ancient practice offers us something far more relevant today: the art of energy conservation. When we stop dissipating our precious vitality in all directions through mindless scrolling, overcommitting, compulsive consumption, or perpetual striving, we discover we already have everything we need. This week, we’re exploring how shifting from depletion to conscious moderation creates the vigor, clarity, and presence we’ve been seeking all along. To learn more visit: throughtheveil11.substack.comWork with me:Book a Life Path Numerology & Tarot ReadingBook an Energy Healing SessionSchedule a Free ConsultResources Mentioned:Last Week’s Episode on AsteyaThe 2nd Yoga Sutra: SatyaThe 1st Yoga Sutra: AhimsaThe Origins of Yoga ArticleMeditate with me:Listen to my Meditations Get full access to Lately with Lexi at latelywithlexi.substack.com/subscribe

8. Asteya: Living from Abundance, Not Lack
Have you ever noticed that wherever there’s suffering in your life, there’s also an unfulfilled desire on the other side? The Buddha taught this thousands of years ago: the root of suffering is desire itself— you know that feeling of “not enough”?Not enough time. Not enough success. Not enough love. Not enough of whatever we believe will finally make us whole, happy, peaceful, and at ease. This scarcity mindset keeps us in a constant state of grasping, taking, trying to fill a void from the outside that can only be satisfied from within. And here’s where the ancient yogic practice of Asteya becomes transformative.Asteya, meaning non-stealing, is the third ethical restraint in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. But it’s so much more than simply refraining from taking physical possessions. Asteya extends to the subtle ways we “steal” every day—taking credit for someone else’s ideas, stealing time by showing up late, stealing attention by scrolling while someone’s trying to connect with us, and perhaps most insidiously, stealing from ourselves by neglecting our needs and pushing past our limits. This week on the podcast, we’re exploring how the practice of Asteya transforms our relationship with abundance. We’ll examine how shifting from scarcity to enoughness changes everything — from how we show up in relationships to how we honor our commitments and treat our own wellbeing. When we truly believe we have enough and we are enough, generosity flows naturally. We stop comparing, stop coveting, and start celebrating what’s already growing in our own garden. It’s in this shift from taking to receiving, from lack to abundance, that we discover that everything we’ve been searching for has been here all along. To learn more visit: throughtheveil11.substack.comWork with me:Book a Life Path Numerology & Tarot ReadingBook an Energy Healing SessionSchedule a Free ConsultResources Mentioned:Last Week’s Episode on SatyaThe 1st Yoga Sutra: AhimsaThe Origins of Yoga ArticleMeditate with me:Listen to my Meditations Get full access to Lately with Lexi at latelywithlexi.substack.com/subscribe

7. Satya: Living in Alignment with Truth
What if the life you’re living isn’t quite aligned with the truth of who you are? What if there’s a gap, however small, between what you believe, what you say, and what you do?Satya, meaning truthfulness, is the second ethical restraint in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Building upon Ahimsa, it teaches us that truth without compassion can harm, while compassion without truth can enable dysfunction. Satya asks us to align thought, word, and action with what is real, right, and beneficial—creating integrity between our inner world and outer reality. This week, we’re exploring how the practice of Satya liberates us from the masks we wear, the stories we tell ourselves, and the contradictions that create inner conflict. We’ll examine not just how we speak to others, but how honest we are with ourselves about our motivations, our shadows, and the places where we’ve been choosing comfort over truth.Because when we live authentically—when we close the gap between who we are in private and who we are in the world, our words become seeds whose fruit naturally follows. We build trust, we invite real connection, and we step more fully into our purpose. To learn more visit: throughtheveil11.substack.comWork with me:Book a Life Path Numerology & Tarot ReadingBook an Energy Healing SessionSchedule a Free ConsultResources Mentioned:Last Week’s Episode on AhimsaThe Origins of Yoga ArticleMeditate with me:Listen to my Meditations Get full access to Lately with Lexi at latelywithlexi.substack.com/subscribe

6. Ahimsa: The Practice of Non-Violence
In a world that often feels fragmented and divided, the ancient yogic principle of Ahimsa offers us a path forward.Ahimsa, meaning non-violence, is the very first ethical restraint in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and its placement is no accident. The sages understood that before we can practice any other aspect of yoga, we must first learn to eliminate violence—not just physical harm, but the subtle violence we carry in our thoughts, words, and judgments toward ourselves and others. This week, we’re exploring how the practice of Ahimsa dissolves the illusion of separation (maya) that creates suffering, and guides us back to our natural state of union with all beings.Because when we remember that we all share the same divine essence, non-violence becomes not just a moral choice, but a spiritual remembrance of who we truly are.To learn more visit: throughtheveil11.substack.comWork with me:Book a Life Path Numerology & Tarot ReadingBook an Energy Healing SessionSchedule a Free ConsultResources Mentioned:The Origins of Yoga ArticleMeditate with me:Listen to my Meditations Get full access to Lately with Lexi at latelywithlexi.substack.com/subscribe
