Moving Beyond Parables

There is precedence throughout the Bible showing God’s desire that men prove they love him more than these (John 21:15-17). Man is made to glorify God. His very image was meant to make men think of God. His likeness was purposed to do the same. John 4:23 says that God seeks those who worship him in spirit and truth. God made humanity intending to have man progress unto glorification. This is the Lord’s vision for us. Eventually, sin develops into iniquity. It never stays idle as it has the insatiable appetite to encompass all it can.
