Navigating the Wide World of Dating Apps (with Erika Ettin)

Erika and I dive into the world of online dating. While I've heard many complaints about online dating, Erika and I both agree … if you change your perspective on it, you'll change the outcome (as with anything in life). A few highlights of our discussion: - Sinking into dating online with curiosity, intention, & vulnerability. The way you perceive things matters - Dating templates and how to use them - Becoming more conscious of the information we're putting out there in our profiles - Investing in dating apps (both energetically & financially). We also touched on navigating the balance in the coaching world. "Doing too much" vs. providing value … where's the sweet spot and why it can be tough for us, as coaches, to find. ____________________________________ Where to find us: Erika: Instagram: @alittlenudge Website: A Little Nudge Kristen: Instagram: @thekristenaut Tik Tok: @thekristenaut Website: Think Above You

Affirmations ... Get Your Soul Involved! (Solosode)

In this episode, we dive deep into the transformative power of affirmations. This episode pairs very well with the affirmations bundle I have available on my website. The link is listed below. Highlights: The Truth About Affirmations: Why traditional affirmation methods often fail and how to truly make them work for you. Beyond the Surface: Understanding why simply repeating affirmations isn't enough and how to engage your nervous system for real change. Aligning with Your Beliefs: How to craft affirmations that resonate with your soul and create genuine shifts in your reality. Practical Tips: Strategies for making your affirmations more impactful, including pausing to feel into each statement. Real-life Impact: Hear a client’s testimonial on the effectiveness of Kristen's unique affirmation approach. Key Takeaways: Affirmations must be believable and resonate deeply within you to manifest effectively. Writing or saying affirmations about external factors without internal belief only creates a sense of lack. Involving your nervous system by feeling the affirmations in your body enhances their power. Start with general affirmations to build up to more specific desires. Not every affirmation will resonate with you, and that's okay. Focus on what sets your soul on fire. What's Your Energy Behind Your Actions? (Solosode)

Alright, we kick things off with a racy and funny story that really has nothing to do with anything other than laughing. Just something that popped into my head and needed to be shared (again, because of the funniness) This episode is like corn … it's got the JUICE! It's almost a mini-mastermind because I gave away some dirt on exactly what to focus on to shift your reality. Are you embodying the energy of your future self? How are you showing up for yourself and persisting in that future reality? Some Key Takeaways: Motives Matter: Are you aware of the motives behind your actions? The Power of Little Things: Our beliefs, thoughts, and feelings add up to shape our reality. It’s the little things that truly matter. Perception and Interpretation: How we perceive and interpret our experiences is crucial. Awareness of these aspects can transform your life. Energy Behind Actions: Simply changing actions without understanding the energy behind them won't give you the results you want. Dive deep into the energy – thoughts, feelings, beliefs – that drives your actions. Self-Reflection Questions: Are you truly being the person you want to be? What's the energy behind your actions? If a relationship isn’t fulfilling, what’s the energy behind that situationship? Resentment, Releasing Anger, and Forgiving Past Versions of Ourselves (Late Night Solosode)

Late night thoughts. This episode feels pretty vulnerable of me because it's about someone from my past. Someone I wrote a story about. Someone I was very attached to after a short time. Someone I thought was everything I wanted without even giving myself a chance to know them. And now I talk about the release of the disappointment and anger what I projected toward the other person who didn't fit the mold of who I thought he should be. How I set myself up for disaster because I was filling a void externally. Without even realizing it. And we think that this person did us wrong and owe us something (and perhaps they do). However, to really move forward freely in life, it's the forgiveness toward ourselves that we need to focus on. You couldn't have been someone different in the past because you just weren't different. You had to be THAT version of you to be this version. And THIS version, the one reading this, is exactly where they are supposed to be to take you to where you want to go. ____________ Kristen on IG: @thekristenaut If you want to check out some of the goodies I talked about here are the links: Badass Relationship Wake Up Calls (freebie) Facebook Group Group Program

Mirror Time! What's Your Reflection Telling You? (Solosode)

In order to manifest these huge things into your life … the things that 'feel so far away' … who do you need to be? What do you need to claim? Where is your focus? Is it on what you DO want? Or what you don't want? Are you able to harness your power within by redirecting that focus internally, creating a world where nothing exists outside of you? Are you able to check your energy before heading into a conversation? How do you handle it when you're triggered? How does victim mode hit you? Are you aware of when your patterns show up? Are you able to shift them? In order to manifest those big dreams, you have to look for what life is reflecting back to you because the reflection is always there. The road to NOT settling for anything less than a relationship that is absolutely bomb can be challenging. So check in with yourself ... How to build more self-worth and self-love into the pieces of yourself that you don't currently love. Society's definition of attractiveness and sexiness. How do you view one bad day of eating? Reactive to Responsive. Emotional Understanding is Everything on This Transformational Journey (Solosode)

Who did I used to be? I can sum it up in one word: Reactive I grew up in a push/pull dynamic. I grew up in inconsistency. I grew up in chaos. And then I spent a lot of time as an adult shaming myself for my disorganized attachment style. WHY?! In a very simple mathematical equation ... who I am now is the sum of how I grew up. We spend so much time running from who we are only to manifest the reflection of who we are in every area of our lives. Running more from it ... creating more reflection of it. It's a vicious cycle. Until ... it's not Recognizing who you are is a huge milestone in your existence. And, if you're doing it and allowing the truth of who you are to just be without shame or rejection ... you're acting in love. Self-love. With self-love comes healing ... And with healing, then comes more love. And now it's a beautiful cycle. Shift the momentum ... shift your entire reality 💖 ________________________________________________ Follow me on Instagram @thekristenaut ________________________________________________

    Left on Read (Solosode)

Turned on the mic and just started talking. Something I'd like to start doing regularly. Just about the things I'm going through in that week, that day, that moment. This week I talk about something that's difficult for a lot of us ... getting left on read. Such a basic thing that says nothing about us. So, why does it feel so personal? How do we navigate the things that feel tough? How do we allow and accept these little things without internalizing them? Without making them mean something about us and our worth? Sometimes it feels like a never ending battle ... which is why I always say #keepgoing

Momming, Being Single and Jumping Back into Dating (with Diera Story)

My guest this week is Diera Story who is just a peach of a human being.    She is a coach in the same business academy as me and works with moms who want to build the dream life they crave by unlocking their mind, body, and soul and showing up as themselves.   Diera's Info: Instagram: @itsdierastory Podcast: Mama Fire   Of course, all of that info is in the show notes …   Like the rest of us … Diera is learning to step completely into her authenticity without apologies and show up in a fierce way in this season of her life.    We talked everything from how motherhood can create the illusion that you need to shrink yourself to be good at it … To going deep on first dates for connection Setting intentions … Vulnerability … Sex….   And a few extra surprises...   Overall the toughstuff that life throws at us is our opportunity to grow and build the belief that it's making room for the good stuff.  Be sure to rate us, share us and post us on socials! Tag at @thekristenaut.   Oh …and Diera's voice cut off in the beginning for whatever reason … but … no worries … you're only missing her talking about how cold it is in Hawaii 🙄

Boundaries: Keep the Good In. Keep the Bad Out (Solosode)

How do you show up to protect yourself? That's the question.  Kristen discusses the peace/chaos balance withing and how you learn to find the balance within so you know when you need to put up a boundary to protect yourself.

  32. 10

Masculine & Feminine Energy … It's a Balancing Act (Solosode)

Kristen talks about importance of a healthy masculine/feminine dynamic within. As within, so without. Whatever your energy is on the outside is what will manifest itself into your external world.

  33. 9

Manifesting a Specific Person (SP) … A Tough Pill to Swallow That My Attachment Was Keeping Me Stuck (Solosode)

Kristen talks about the struggles with "trying to manifest an SP" and how the more general you can go with your manifestations, the more you open yourself up to the miracles that are waiting to come into your life

  34. 8

Manifestation and Relationships: You Don't Manifest What You Want … You Manifest Who You Are (Solosode)

The newer buzz and idea around the word "manifestation" keep us from realizing that we've always been manifesting.  It's not the conscious mind that manifests but the subconscious.  Our external world is a product of who we are.  So you have to ask yourself: Who am I really being?   Also addressing the new branding and NAME CHANGE!

  35. 7

My Journey Over the Last 41 Years: From Childhood Traumas to Coaching (Solosode)

She's  back … in dramatic fashion!    Kristen has really pushed herself out of the comfort zone to talk vulnerably about her life story to bring some relatability to those who need it.  From the struggles to the triumphs and back.  And how she wants to help people thrive through coaching.

  36. 6

The Rules of Life: Guess What ...?? There Are None (Solosode)

We spend sooooo much time worrying about how things will look to others. And then we hesitate, we hold back, we second guess ourselves, we quit. New Rule: There are NO rules ... so figure out what feels BEST and then do ittttttt. **Computer is back up and running so I can edit some episodes now! Sorry for my slight hiatus**

  37. 5

Attachment Styles: Anxious? Avoidant? Disorganized? Deep down, we’re all just big scaredy cats (Solosode)

How we’re taught to love when we’re little is how we will love when we’re adults. The insecure attachment styles we develop are all based on a common theme: fear. As we grow and learn to become more secure on on our own … we also build more compassion for those who enter our lives with less than perfect security on their own path to love. The more you know about yourself, the more you’ll be able to understand when you need to ebb and when you need to flow on your quest to love.

  38. 4

Surrender ... And the Answers Will Come (Solosode)

Surrender has been one of the hardest things for me to embody. Many of us have spent most of our lives believing what we see and thinking that it has to dictate where we're going. It doesn't! The more you can release the idea that what you want has to show up in a certain way ... the more the things you want will effortlessly flow to you, the more answers will come to you on their own, and the path from where you are to where you want to go will become clearer and clearer. Breathe ... and let it flow! And since my computer decided to crap out on me this week ... we're intro/outro-less. Happy 'Casting!

  39. 3

Embrace Your Desires ... They Are Your Authenticity (Solosode)

Let's be honest ... when we really want something it can be so hard to hold onto to the vision of our desires when the world as we experience it, with our 5 senses, is showing us the opposite.  But, these desires are always there for a reason.  What you desire is your truth and authenticity trying to come out! Focus on the feeling that you want to have and allow yourself to grow and learn from the things that aren't bringing you that feeling.  When you focus on what you DO want and allow it to exist in your imagination, then it's already yours.  And letting that imagination live without limits will bring you that much closer to your desire showing up in the real world.

Change Can Be Tough ... Don't Resist It (Solosode)

Sometimes it's really hard to release our grip on the changes that come along with inner growth and personal development. It's so important that we become conscious of that fear, because otherwise, it can halt us from continuing to uncover and embrace our true authenticity.
