Hey everyone! For the Girl Struggling with Faith.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Maybe you're wanting so badly to believe, but you're so afraid you don't have faith. Maybe you're doubting God and His promises, that He truly is who He says He is. I was in this seat not that long ago, and it was a STRUGGLE. It's a hard thing to deal with, something that we often are tempted to hide and push away. However, it's something we need to address, and I pray this episode helps guide you towards understanding your faith and provides some encouragement. There are questions you can ask yourself, new perspectives and just what I hope will bless you in this season of your life. You are not alone, alright? God is here for you, and so is the worldwide church! Drop any prayer requests or questions in the question box, and have the most blessed week.

We're talking about: WHY to love on and encourage your people, HOW to support them, and HOW to allow God to empower and energize you to do so. In our schools, churches, and community, people need Christ's love. I hope the message today will INSPIRE you to TAKE ACTION and love on your people, and even those who aren't "your people", because God loves us all unconditionally, and so should we. You got this! Prioritizing Prayer and Giving Him the Weight- pt. two of "Slow Down; Abiding and Resting in Him"

PRAYER is how we find connection to God. It's a portable anchor and communication line that's completely free. It is a weapon for peace in the world- a way for us to learn how to communicate love and a place to lay down our burdens. As students, it can feel like every new test and assignment is something to complain and stress about. Friends and boys can feel like such vices in our lives and we almost want to drown and be pulled down into our own woes. But God has a space for that. He actually WANTS us to communicate all of the weight we're carrying to Him: the negatives, positives, decisions, situations, thoughts, worries... He can take it. And that's where we find freedom. Freedom to keep going and make the effort to love another eron, to restore our minds and bodies to do the work He's set in front of us. To live the fruitful, joy-filled life He offers. And I invite you to step into it with me. Blessings, Elly

Slow Down; Abiding and Resting in Him.

Speed is the enemy of depth. The faster we chug through life, the less we are able to sit in peace and grow in faith and relationships with others.  Our lives can feel so go go go so much of the time. It's easy to get caught up in the tests, quizzes, drama and wild waterslides in life and forget about the rest that we need. Without rest, each of us loses the ability to impact others in the way that we desire. Without rest, we begin to falter in health, effectiveness and our realtionship with God. We start to worry and overthink and lose sight of the fact that we are in His hand and secure in His power. He calls us to rest in our life with Him. He calls us to a relationship and the business of loving others. We need to abide in Him to carry this out. We need to take a breath and take time for quiet joy in His presence.  I pray you can take this message of abiding with you and truly rest in what he's prepared for your life. Absolute blessings to you, and go SLAY THE DAY!

  46. 20

God Has a Unique Path for You.

Happy Sunday! We’re back with another episode on the purity of living God’s will for your life. Through the specific strengths He’s gifted each of us with, we can impact so many people. We just need to follow His will, His way- He will make our paths straight. Have a wonderful, blessed week and I hope you’ve been able to find some encouragement.

What’s taking up your headspace? (Boys vs M&ms)

Agh. Boys. They take so much time and energy and worrying… when we think about them. I want to ENCOURAGE all of you to examine your life and see what it is that’s soaking up your energy and headspace and RE-EVALUATE how important it is. Too often I’ve found myself almost meditating on the PAST and FUTURE, regretting, dreaming and pulling my thoughts into an endless cycle of WHAT-IF. Focusing on the PRESENT is all I really need to be doing, and while there’s nothing wrong with thinking about the past and/or the future, you don’t want to go down a rabbit-hole of endless anxiety or put your trust and mind in the hands of TEMPORARY things. That’s when we enter IDOLATRY in all its evil forms. I hope this episode is both an encouragement and a wake-up call to you wherever you are in life. We’re in this t o g e t h e r.

  49. 17

You don’t have to swear- tips to help the girl seeking change.

Swearing is super prevalent in the current culture, and as we consue content and make new friends, it's really just everywhere we go. Fortunately, we can combat this with some different strategies. I know many of us struggle with this to different degrees; it has a sneaky, almost subtle impact but affects out mindset and the way we think about others. Whoever you are out there, I'll be praying for you and hope this episode helps you in some capacity. Happy Holidays! (P.S. I know my uploading schedule has been a bit wonky, but we're getting back on track with some episodes I've been planning, plus one or two with some special guests!) "I delight to do your will, O my God, Your law is in my heart."

Cycles of Regret- focus on what energizes you! (Students)

Regret can really suck sometimes. We regret the way our time is spent and the outcomes we see… even regret itself. It’s a real struggle that contributes to the overwhelm students and everyone else can experience. Today I’m bringing to you a bit of my personal struggle with this and how I plan to work through it- high school will NOT break me y’all, and it won’t break you either. You got this! 💪
