Do Catholics & Orthodox Worship Mary and the Saints?
This is one of the most common—and most quickly dismissed—questions in conversations between Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox Christians: do Catholics and Orthodox actually worship Mary? In this video, I’m not here to misrepresent anyone, but to walk through this issue carefully, biblically, and honestly by asking a deeper question—what does Scripture actually define as worship? Because the issue isn’t just what we intend to do, but whether our actions align with what God has revealed. We’ll look at how the Bible describes worship, why intention alone isn’t enough to determine what is acceptable to God, and whether distinctions like “veneration vs worship” actually hold up when tested against Scripture. This isn’t a small issue—worship, in the Bible, is sacred, exclusive, and not something God leaves open to human innovation. So if actions like prayer, singing, devotion, and bowing are consistently directed to God alone in Scripture, what does it mean when those same actions are directed somewhere else? Watch the full video and decide for yourself, and if you want to go deeper on topics like this, check out my blog linked below.

Is Mary the Ark of the Covenant? A Protestant Response
Why do conversations about Mary so often feel like we’re missing each other? In this video, we take a closer look at one of the most discussed biblical connections and ask a deeper question: not just what the Bible shows—but how far we’re meant to go with it. Instead of assuming disagreement, we slow things down and examine where common ground actually exists—and where things begin to diverge. If you’ve ever wondered how to think more clearly about Scripture, typology, and theological boundaries, this is a conversation you don’t want to miss.

Is Mary Really the New Eve? Here’s the Problem
Is Mary really the “New Eve”? It’s a claim you’ve probably heard before, and at first glance, it sounds compelling—Eve disobeyed, Mary obeyed, and through Mary comes the One who brings life. But does Scripture actually establish that connection, or are we reading something into the text that isn’t really there? In this video, we take a step back and test the idea biblically by looking at how typology actually works in Scripture, where this claim comes from historically, and whether the comparison holds up under closer examination. More importantly, we explore what’s really at stake when we build theology on connections the Bible itself doesn’t clearly make. If you want the full, in-depth breakdown, be sure to check out the blog post linked below where I go even deeper into this topic.

Top 5 Logical Fallacies in Catholic & Orthodox Claims
Have you ever walked away from a conversation with a Catholic or Orthodox and felt like something in their argument didn’t quite sit right—but you couldn’t explain why? In this video, I break down 5 common logical traps that often show up in those discussions, not to take cheap shots, but to help you think more clearly and respond with confidence. We’ll walk through real examples, expose where the reasoning breaks down, and most importantly, give you simple questions you can ask to bring the conversation back to truth. My goal isn’t just to tell you what to think, but to teach you how to think—so you can test everything, define terms carefully, and stand firmly on Scripture as your final authority. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by these conversations, this video will help bring clarity.

Should We Call Mary the Mother of God?
Why do so many Christians call Mary “the Mother of God”—and is that actually the clearest way to say what we believe? In this video, we take a careful, biblical look at the phrase Theotokos, its historical purpose, and whether it truly helps us understand who Jesus is or unintentionally creates confusion. By comparing how Scripture speaks about Mary and Christ with how theological language develops over time, we explore a deeper question: not just what is technically true, but what is actually clear and helpful. My goal isn’t to dismiss church history, but to help you think critically, biblically, and carefully about how we communicate the truth of the gospel. Let me know your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear how you’ve wrestled through this.

You’re Using the Islamic Dilemma Wrong (Here’s Why)
There’s an argument that many Christians use when engaging Islam that, on the surface, seems powerful and even convincing—but what if the way it’s commonly used is actually missing the point? In this video, we take a closer look at the Islamic dilemma and uncover a critical mistake that’s quietly weakening conversations and causing people to talk past each other instead of getting to the real issue. If you’ve ever wrestled with how to think clearly, argue honestly, and engage others without misrepresenting what they believe, this is a conversation you don’t want to miss.

David Wood Responded to My Video… But Did He Miss the Point?
Sometimes the biggest disagreements aren’t about the conclusion—but about what was actually being said in the first place. After watching David Wood's response to my video, I realized there were some key points that may have been misunderstood, and I think it opens up a much bigger conversation about how Christians should think, engage, and respond in moments like this. In this video, I take a step back and walk through a few important clarifications that I believe are worth considering. If you’re interested in thinking through these issues from a biblical and logical perspective, this one’s for you.

5 Reasons John 6 Is Not About the Eucharist
John 6 is one of the most debated chapters in all of Scripture, especially when it comes to the Lord’s Supper. If you’ve ever had a conversation with a Catholic or Orthodox Christian, you’ve probably heard this passage used to support a very specific view of what Jesus meant. But what if the chapter isn’t about what many people assume it is? In this video, we take a closer look at the context, the language, and the bigger biblical picture to uncover what Jesus is really saying—and why it might challenge the way you’ve always heard this passage explained.

“Repent and Be Baptized for Forgiveness?” What Acts 2:38 Means
Acts 2:38 is one of those verses that seems simple on the surface—but the more you think about it, the more questions it raises. Why do the apostles say “repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins” instead of just “repent and believe”? Is baptism doing something more than we’ve assumed, or are we missing something in how we’re reading it? In this video, we slow down and wrestle with the tension honestly, looking at how this verse fits with the rest of Scripture and why it has caused so much confusion across different Christian traditions.
-
74
What Does “Baptism Now Saves You” Actually Mean?
Few verses have caused more confusion in the baptism debate than the statement “baptism now saves you.” Some read it one way, others react in the complete opposite direction—but what if both sides are missing something important? In this video, we slow down and walk through the passage in its full context to uncover what’s actually being said and why it matters. If you’ve ever wrestled with this verse or wondered how it fits with the rest of Scripture, this breakdown will challenge you to think deeper and read more carefully.

The Eucharist Explained in 22 Min
What really happens when Christians take the Eucharist, Communion, or the Lord’s Supper? Are believers literally eating Christ’s body and blood, is the meal merely symbolic, or is something deeper happening? In this video, we step back from centuries of debate and go straight to the biblical explanation found in 1 Corinthians 10 and 11. By walking through Paul’s teaching step-by-step, we explore what the Lord’s Supper actually is, what is happening when the church gathers around the bread and the cup, and why believers continue to practice this covenant meal today. Along the way we look at Paul’s examples from Israel’s wilderness experience, the sacrificial system, and pagan temple feasts to understand the biblical categories that explain participation in Christ, remembrance of his sacrifice, and proclamation of the gospel until he returns.

Do Jews Have a Divine Right to the Land of Israel?
In this episode of the Least of These Podcast, Jayni Jackson tackles a question that has sparked growing debate among Christians: does the modern state of Israel have a divine right to the land promised to Abraham? As tensions surrounding Israel continue to shape political and theological conversations, many believers feel forced to choose between two extreme positions—either Israel has a God-given title deed to the land, or Israel has no legitimate claim at all. But is that really the only way to think about it? In this video, Jayni carefully examines the biblical framework behind the conversation, exploring key passages from the Old Testament and raising important distinctions that often get overlooked. The goal isn’t to inflame the debate, but to bring clarity and encourage Christians to think more carefully about what the Bible actually teaches.

Can LDS Prophets Be Wrong and Still Be Prophets?
Mormonism teaches that modern prophets can make mistakes—even doctrinal mistakes—while still serving as God’s authorized leaders for the church. But is that actually a category the Bible allows? In this video, we examine a claim recently discussed in LDS apologetics and ask a simple question: can someone speak for God, be wrong, and still remain a prophet? By looking carefully at Scripture and the biblical role of prophets, we explore whether the LDS model of prophetic authority truly aligns with the Old and New Testaments or whether it introduces a category the Bible never gives us. If Mormonism claims continuity with the faith once delivered to the saints, then its prophetic system must stand the test of Scripture—and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

Apparently Trump Doesn’t Think He’s Going to Heaven…
President Donald Trump has repeatedly said something that should make every Christian stop and think: he doesn’t believe he’s going to make it to heaven. That statement alone raises a serious question—how should the church respond when someone publicly speaks about eternity like that? In this episode of the Least of These Podcast, Jayni Jackson takes a step back from the political noise to examine a deeper issue happening within evangelical culture. Are Christians confusing political alignment with genuine Christianity? And what happens when the church becomes more comfortable defending leaders than calling people—powerful or not—to the gospel? This conversation isn’t about political parties. It’s about the church, the gospel, and whether we are being faithful to our mission.

Did Doug Wilson Just Equate ALL Muslims With Criminals?
In a recent interview between Doug Wilson and Tucker Carlson, a statement was made that I believe exposes a much deeper issue within Christian reasoning today. This video isn’t about shielding Islam from critique — Islam is false, and extremist movements are dangerous — but about asking whether Christians can equate religious identity with criminal identity without abandoning biblical justice. We’ll examine why fear of Islamic extremism is understandable, where the logical leap happens, what Scripture actually says about how we are to judge individuals, and how the early church responded to hostile ideologies without collapsing people into categories. If you care about thinking clearly, judging biblically, and guarding your heart from fear-driven overreaction, this conversation is one you don’t want to miss.

David Wood CONFRONTS Muslims for Praying in Times Square... Does He Have A Point?
What happens when Christians become shocked that unbelievers don’t act like believers? Recently, a moment in Times Square sparked a wave of reactions across evangelical circles—and I think it reveals something deeper going on beneath the surface. In this video, I slow the conversation down and ask whether we’re thinking biblically, logically, and theologically about religious freedom, public prayer, and our actual mission as the church. If we’re not careful, we may end up confusing outrage with faithfulness. Let’s talk about it.

The Gates of Hades Explained
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus makes one of the most hope-filled promises in all of Scripture: “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.” But what did He actually mean? In this final episode of my Matthew 16 series, we take a careful, biblical look at the foundation of the church, the difference between the visible and invisible church, and why understanding the meaning of Hades (not hell) changes everything. Is Jesus promising institutional perfection? Protection from doctrinal error? Freedom from demonic attack? Or is He pointing us to something even deeper—victory over death itself? Join me as we clear the fog and trace this promise from Isaiah and Sheol all the way to Christ’s resurrection and the believer’s final hope.

Trump Is Re-dedicating America as "One Nation Under God"... Let’s Talk About It
In a recent speech, President Trump used language that immediately caught the attention of many Christians—talk of re-dedicating America to God and returning to being “one nation under God.” But what does that language actually mean, biblically speaking? In this video, we slow down and examine those claims through Scripture, asking careful questions about dedication, covenant, and what Christianity really teaches about God’s people in the world today. Rather than reacting emotionally or politically, this episode invites you to think theologically and consider whether language that sounds right is always rooted in biblical categories.

Does a Broken World Undermine the Argument from Design?
The world is undeniably beautiful—but it’s also dangerous, broken, and filled with suffering. For many people, that tension raises a serious question: does a world like this actually count against the idea of design? In this video, we slow down and examine a popular critique of the argument from design that claims the pain and chaos of the world point either to no creator at all or to a deeply flawed one. Rather than getting lost in biology or emotional appeals, we dig into the assumptions behind the argument, the way humans are being evaluated, and the larger framework Christianity uses to make sense of reality. This isn’t about silencing hard questions—it’s about asking better ones.

Does Romans 1 Call Atheist and Agnostics Liars?
Does Romans chapter 1 really say that atheists are liars—or is Paul doing something far more careful and unsettling than that? In this episode, we take a close look at one of the most debated passages in Scripture and the uncomfortable tension it creates between modern claims of “non-resistant unbelief” and the Bible’s diagnosis of the human condition. Rather than resorting to shallow proof-texting or rhetorical jabs, this conversation slows down and asks what Paul is actually saying, why it matters, and how it reshapes the way Christians should think about belief, unbelief, and the role of the gospel. Whether you’re a skeptic, a believer, or somewhere in between, this is a discussion designed not just to tell you what to think—but to help you think more clearly.

Should Christians Celebrate MLK Day?
Every year around Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a familiar debate resurfaces—especially among Christians—about whether this holiday should be celebrated at all. Some point to MLK’s personal flaws, others to the complexity of the Civil Rights Movement itself, and many feel caught between conviction and confusion. In this video, I don’t set out to defend a personality or re-litigate history. Instead, I invite you to slow down and think carefully—biblically, logically, and honestly—about what MLK Day has represented, why this question keeps coming up, and how Christians should approach it without letting their consciences be hijacked by fear, rhetoric, or inconsistency.

Is 90-95% of Black Churches in America Heretical? A Response to Joel Webbon
A recent debate raised a claim so sweeping—and so serious—that it deserves careful, biblical examination. In this video, I slow everything down and walk through what was actually said, why it matters, and how Christians should evaluate bold claims made from influential platforms. This isn’t a reaction piece or rage bait; it’s a thoughtful, Scripture-driven look at how we define the church, how we understand heresy, and why words spoken publicly carry real pastoral weight. If you care about gospel unity, theological clarity, and protecting the body of Christ from careless division, this conversation matters.

Is James 2 a Solid Defense of Catholicism or Orthodoxy?
James chapter 2 is one of the most debated—and most misunderstood—passages in the New Testament. In this video, we slow down and let James speak for himself, asking whether this chapter actually supports the claims so often made about it. Without relying on Paul or importing outside frameworks, we follow James’s own logic to see where it leads—and where it doesn’t. If you’ve ever assumed James 2 was a problem passage for Protestant theology, this conversation may challenge more than you expect.

Is James 2 a Solid Defense of Protestantism? A Response to Michael Knowles and Read Choi
James 2 is one of the most contested passages in the entire New Testament. For centuries, it has been cited as the verse that finally disproves justification by faith alone—and many Christians are convinced the case is settled. But what if the problem isn’t James? In this video, we slow down and actually listen to James on his own terms. No shortcuts. No proof-texting. No importing other authors to do the interpretive work for him. Verse by verse, we trace the logic James himself lays out and ask a simple question: what kind of faith does James say saves? If you’ve ever been told that James refutes Protestantism—or if you’ve never been satisfied with the way this passage is usually handled—this is a conversation worth having.

What “Binding and Loosing” Really Means Biblically
What did Jesus actually mean when he said the church has the power to “bind and loose”?This passage has been used to justify spiritual warfare formulas, sweeping institutional claims, and everything in between. 7 Verses Every Protestant Should Know
In this video, I walk through seven often-overlooked biblical passages that every Protestant should know when engaging with Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox theology. Rather than relying on the usual proof texts, this video digs deeper into how Scripture itself functions as the final authority, how Jesus and the apostles expected believers to read and test doctrine, how justification actually works, why Christ is truly sufficient, and how the Lord’s Supper should be understood biblically. This isn’t about winning arguments or scoring points. AAre Protestants Wrong About Peter and the Keys of the Kingdom??
In Matthew 16, Jesus tells Peter, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” For centuries, Catholics have used this verse to defend the papacy and the idea that Peter became the supreme head of the Church. But is that really what Jesus meant? In this episode of The Least of These Podcast, Jayni Jackson traces the “keys” motif through Scripture, from Isaiah 22 to Revelation 3, to uncover what Jesus was actually saying—and why the Catholic interpretation collapses under biblical, historical, and theological scrutiny.Watch until the end, because this one detail changes everything about how we understand the Church, authority, and the gospel itself.#peter #KeysOfTheKingdom #catholicchurch #papacy #matthew16 #protestantapologetics #leastofthesepodcast #biblestudy #BiblicalTruth #ChristianApologetics #catholicdebate #reformation #jesusislord #gospeltruth #bibleexplained #churchhistory #CatholicDoctrine #biblicalauthority #scripturealone #solascriptura #PeterAndTheKeys #apologetics #christianityexplained #faith #jesuschrist

Did the Vatican Just Deny Mary as Co-Redemptrix?
When the Vatican released a new document about Mary’s role in salvation, I expected it to be just another Marian reflection—but this one is different. Mater Populi Fidelis (“Mother of the Faithful People of God”) is already stirring up conversation because it says some things that sound surprisingly biblical, while also exposing a much deeper problem inside Catholic teaching itself. In this video, I take a closer look at what the document actually says, where it seems to align with Scripture, and where it quietly contradicts its own system. The Conservative Civil War Is Exposing the Right and the Church
In this episode of the Least of These Podcast, I’m diving into the growing conservative civil war—and why it’s exposing something far deeper than politics. After Politico revealed a disturbing group chat filled with racist and pro-Nazi jokes, the Daily Wire hosts—Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, and Andrew Klavan—responded. But instead of repentance, what we saw was deflection, pride, and a refusal to call sin what it is. And that’s the real problem. This isn’t just a political crisis—it’s a spiritual one. Because when Christians care more about protecting their party than pursuing holiness, the gospel gets replaced by ideology. Why Peter’s Name Change Doesn’t Prove the Papacy
In Matthew 16, Jesus looks at Simon and gives him a new name—Peter. For centuries, that moment has sparked debate: was Jesus establishing the papacy or doing something far deeper? In this episode, Jayni Jackson breaks down one of the most misunderstood passages in Scripture and uncovers what’s really happening when Jesus says, “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.” What if this moment wasn’t about hierarchy at all—but about something far more personal, far more powerful, and far more beautiful?#biblestudy #ChristianApologetics #ProtestantApologetics #leastofthesepodcast #PeterTheRock #matthew16 #biblicaltruth #scripturealone #solascriptura #catholicvsprotestant #bibleexplained #gospeltruth #jesuschrist #christianfaith #theology #biblicalteaching #apologetics #churchhistory #christianyoutube #faithandreason #christianityexplained #bibleinterpretation #PeterAndTheRock #JesusBuildsHisChurch #gospelcentered

Why I’m Not Convinced That Peter Is the Rock in Matthew 16
Catholics often point to Matthew 16 where Jesus says, “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.” At first glance, it sounds simple—even convincing. But when you trace the “Rock” theme across Scripture, you realize something stunning: the Rock has never been a man. It has always been Christ. In this video, I walk through the biblical and historical evidence showing why the foundation of the church cannot be Peter, the papacy, or any human office—and why it’s dangerous and unbiblical to treat it that way. We’ll explore Isaiah 28, 1 Corinthians 10, Ephesians 2, 1 Peter 2, and Matthew 16 to see how Scripture interprets itself. If you’re Catholic, I invite you to hear the full case before rushing to judgment. Allie Beth Stuckey vs. Jackie Hill Perry on Charlie Kirk’s Martyrdom
Was Charlie Kirk a Christian martyr—or a political one? In this episode, I respond to Allie Beth Stuckey’s defense of Charlie Kirk and her critique of Jackie Hill Perry. This conversation isn’t about politics—it’s about truth. Because when we start redefining martyrdom to fit our cultural loyalties, we lose sight of what it really means to bear witness to Christ. We’ll walk through what Scripture actually says about martyrdom, how Allie’s logic subtly conflates conservatism with Christianity, and why the church desperately needs to recover a biblical understanding of suffering, truth, and loyalty. Nick Fuentes vs. Candace Owens on Interracial Marriage
In this episode, we’re diving into one of the most heated and uncomfortable debates to resurface online — the question of interracial marriage. Recently, Candace Owens sat down with Nick Fuentes for an interview that shocked a lot of people, not just for what was said, but for what it revealed about how far certain ideas have come back into the mainstream. But here’s the thing — this isn’t just about politics or opinion. This is about truth. So instead of reacting emotionally, I want to slow things down and think biblically. What does Scripture actually say? What does God’s Word reveal about how we should approach race, marriage, and human worth? You might be surprised by how clear the Bible actually is on this.Stick around — we’re going to unpack their conversation, expose the flawed assumptions underneath it, and look at why this issue ultimately points us back to something much deeper than race itself.#NickFuentes #CandaceOwens #InterracialMarriage #ChristianPodcast #BiblicalTruth #LeastOfThesePodcast #Christianity #BiblicalResponse #FaithAndCulture #RaceAndFaith #JesusIsKing #ChristianApologetics #GospelTruth #ScriptureAlone #ChristianWorldview #BiblicalTeaching #RaceInTheChurch #MarriageAndFaith #CulturalCommentary #BibleStudy #ChristianYouTuber #TheologyMatters #ChristianPerspective #Apologetics #TruthOverTribe

Did Jesus Give Us a Church or the Bible? | Catholicism’s Worst Argument
Did Jesus come to give us a church or a Bible? Catholics and Orthodox often claim “the church came before the Bible,” but when you trace the biblical story from Genesis to Revelation, a very different picture emerges. The Word of God has always created the people of God—not the other way around. From creation itself, to the covenant with Abraham, to the calling of the apostles, to the birth of the church in Acts—the Word comes first. In this video, we’ll dismantle the common Catholic/Orthodox argument about canon and tradition, show how the magisterium ends up claiming lordship over Scripture itself, and demonstrate why the biblical pattern is clear: without the Word, there is no church. This is not about diminishing the church—it’s about protecting it by keeping it where it belongs: under the authority of God’s Word.#Bible #ChurchHistory #Protestant #Catholic #Orthodox #SolaScriptura #SolaEcclesia #Christianity #ChristianDoctrine #Apologetics #BiblicalTruth #Gospel #ScriptureAlone #WordOfGod #FaithComesByHearing #Acts #Reformation #BiblicalAuthority #ChristianApologetics #Theology #Exegesis #JesusChrist #ChurchVsBible #ChristianPodcast #LeastOfThesePodcast

Confronting Israel Conspiracy Theories: A Christian Response
In this video, I address the rising trend of Israel conspiracy theories and why Christians need to think biblically about them. There’s a growing temptation to let curiosity slide into suspicion and suspicion slide into slander. But Scripture gives us a better way—a way that keeps our eyes fixed on Christ’s kingdom rather than the endless speculation of the world. We’ll look at Paul’s words in 1 Thessalonians, Jesus’ words about Caesar, and walk through the common “what if” scenarios people raise. By the end, my goal is to help you see the futility of living in conspiracy and the beauty of the Christian alternative: loving one another, living quietly, working faithfully, and keeping our witness clear before outsiders.#Israel #ConspiracyTheories #TuckerCarlson #CandaceOwens #NickFuentes #DaveSmith #Christianity #BibleTeaching #GospelCentered #FaithOverFear

Candace Owens’ Protestantism Gaffe Shows Why She’s Out of Her Depth
Candace Owens recently released a video where she takes aim at Protestantism. But as you’ll see, her arguments aren’t original—they’re shallow Catholic talking points that she hasn’t thought through. In this video, I play her clip in full and then respond point by point. We’ll look at what she gets wrong about unity, history, politics, and theology, and why her arguments ultimately reveal that she’s out of her depth. This isn’t about tearing Candace down as a person. My concern is the influence she has on her audience. When someone with such a large platform speaks so confidently yet so carelessly on matters of faith, it should make us all cautious. If she can misunderstand something as central as the gospel and the history of the church, how much more should we be careful when she speaks on other complex issues? At the end of the day, Protestantism is not about fragmentation—it’s about faithfulness. We are united in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that’s the unity that truly matters.#CandaceOwens #Protestantism #CatholicChurch #Reformation #SolaScriptura #Christianity #BibleTruth #FalseTeaching #Discernment #LeastOfThesePodcast

Church...We Need to Talk About The Charlie Kirk Situation...
In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, many are rushing to call him a martyr of the faith. But let’s be clear: martyrdom in Scripture has always meant one thing—dying for Christ. Dying because you would not deny the gospel. Dying because you bore witness to Jesus. If Charlie Kirk died for anything, it was for conservatism. It was for MAGA. And the church must not whitewash his legacy or baptize politics in the blood of its champions. This video is a warning to the church: conservatism is not Christianity. Confusing the two is idolatry. Our mission is not to win culture wars but to proclaim Christ crucified, risen, and reigning. The world doesn’t need another political savior—it needs the Savior, Jesus Christ.

What Does It Mean to Love God and Neighbor? | Why “Double Tapping” Love Doesn’t Lead Back to the Law
What does it actually mean to love God and love your neighbor? Too many Christians either reduce love down to a legalistic checklist of rules or stretch it into a vague, sentimental feeling that has no real substance. In this video, we dive into Jesus’ teaching in Mark 12 and the Sermon on the Mount to uncover why love is the fulfillment of the law, why “double tapping” love doesn’t lead us back to Moses but forward to Christ, and why without faith, even our best attempts at love fall short. If you’ve ever struggled to define biblical love, this message will help you think about love better and see how it all comes together in Jesus.#LoveGodLoveNeighbor #LawAndGospel #BiblicalLove #SermonOnTheMount #Mark12 #FaithAndLove #JesusIsLove #ChristianTeaching #BibleExplained #LeastOfThesePodcast

The One Question That Undermines Praying to the Saints
In this video, I wrestle with one question that has never made sense to me: why do Catholics and Orthodox insist on praying to the saints? If Scripture already tells us to pray directly to God and to ask our brothers and sisters on earth to pray with us, then what exactly do the saints add that Christ Himself has not already provided? Together we’ll walk through the biblical pattern of prayer, the danger of idolatry, the misreading of James 5, and why the gospel assures us that Christ’s intercession is enough. I’ll leave the central question pinned in the comments—I’d love for you to share your thoughts so we can wrestle with this together.#SolaScriptura #BibleStudy #Christianity #Protestant #Apologetics #GospelTruth #PrayingToSaints #Catholicism #Orthodoxy #JesusIsEnough

God of the Dead vs. God of the Living | What Jesus Meant and How Catholics & Orthodox Twist It
Did Jesus really give us permission to pray to saints in Mark 12:27? Catholics and Orthodox often point to this passage—“He is not God of the dead, but of the living”—as proof that since Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are alive to God, it must be fine to speak to them. But is that what Jesus meant? In this video, we break down the context of Jesus’ debate with the Sadducees, expose the real meaning of His words, and show why this passage offers something far greater than permission to talk to saints—it offers assurance of God’s unbreakable faithfulness.#BibleStudy #Christianity #Protestant #SolaScriptura #CatholicChurch #OrthodoxChurch #PrayToSaints #JesusChrist #Mark1227 #AssuranceOfSalvation

Are We Losing the Gospel in the Name of Unity? Why Zoomer’s Logic Exposes Gavin Ortland’s Blind Spot
Can the Roman Catholic Church deny justification by faith alone and still be considered a true church? In this episode of The Least of These Podcast, I respond to Redeemed Zoomer’s defense of Catholicism and his appeal to Gavin Ortland’s video, “Are Roman Catholics Christians?” With clarity and charity, we examine why Rome’s rejection of sola fide and penal substitution isn’t a secondary issue—it’s a different gospel. I’ll also explain why Gavin Ortland’s attempt to maintain unity with Rome leaves the door wide open for Redeemed Zoomer’s even more dangerous conclusions. If we want to love people well, we need to be clear on what the gospel actually is—and what it isn’t.

Is Catholicism Really the Safer Bet? Why Brian Holdsworth 's Wager Falls Apart
Brian Holdsworth says Catholicism is the “safer bet”—but what if the very wager he uses turns against him? In this response, I expose the deep flaws in his Pascal’s Wager argument, his shallow caricature of Protestant beliefs, and the dangerous assumption that Rome’s gospel is just a “fuller” version of the truth. Spoiler: it’s not. If trusting in Christ alone is enough, then adding saints, icons, and Marian dogmas isn’t safer—it’s spiritual risk. This video is not just a rebuttal. It’s a challenge to think clearly, honestly, and biblically. Because the real danger isn’t rejecting Catholicism—it’s believing it offers salvation when it doesn’t.

Stop Using Matthias to Defend Apostolic Succession: A Protestant Appeal to Catholics and Orthodox
In this video, we take a closer look at one of the most common Catholic and Orthodox arguments for apostolic succession: the appointment of Matthias in Acts 1. While many treat this account as a slam-dunk proof, a careful reading shows it’s about completing something unique and unrepeatable—not establishing a chain of episcopal succession. I make a direct appeal to my Catholic and Orthodox friends: if you want to argue for apostolic succession, that’s your choice—but stop using Matthias to do it. We’ll walk through the passage, examine the logic, and see why using this text actually undermines the very case it’s supposed to prove.

Joe Heschmeyer Just Exposed a Massive Catholic Contradiction Without Even Knowing It
Is worshiping Jesus necessary for true worship of God? In this video, I respond to Catholic apologist Joe Heschmeyer’s arguments about Mormonism and Islam and explain why his logic falls apart when tested against Scripture. Joe claims that Mormons don’t worship the same Jesus as Christians—but simultaneously defends the Catholic position that Muslims worship the same God we do. But according to Jesus in John 5:23 and 1 John 2:23, you cannot honor the Father if you reject the Son. So how can Joe condemn Mormon worship while defending Muslim worship, when both explicitly deny the true identity of Jesus? In this response, I walk through Joe’s analogies, expose the logical trap he walks into, and show why the “same referent, wrong description” argument doesn’t hold up. Ultimately, this isn’t just about Mormonism or Islam—it’s about whether we’re going to stand on the clear words of Christ, or compromise those words to protect a council that contradicts Him.

The Torah Is a Unit: STOP Dividing It!!!
Was the Law of Moses ever meant to be divided into moral, civil, and ceremonial parts? In this episode of the Least of These Podcast, Jayni Jackson unpacks why Scripture treats the Law as a single covenantal unit and why the Law itself was the Mosaic covenant. From Exodus to Galatians to Hebrews, we’ll see how what happens to one part of the Law happens to the whole—and why Christians today don’t obey God’s moral commands by clinging to an old covenant, but by walking in the Spirit under the law of Christ.
