    when life throws a curveball, and you are met with circumstances that can alter the trajectory of your path, it is essential to be aware of the emotions that arise during the journey. falling in love with the process can ultimately change the taste of the reward in the end. having everything you want in life be in the palm of your hands with no stress or no work implemented can sometimes cause a lack of achievement or lack of satisfaction. this is where the importance of appreciating the good, the bad and the ugly comes into play when chasing your goals and making your aspirations come to fruition. a special guest featuring Maya, a talented individual who has experienced life through the lens of not only her camera and photography, but also moments that have shaped her into becoming a powerful soul with the eagerness to excel in multiple fields. we brought our minds together to discuss the concept of saying no, as well as implementing the rules of enjoying the process of work to achieve profound success. through trials and tribulations, we've mastered the art of only showing up to what serves us good, and eliminating the pessimism that life and experiences may come our way. only elevation from here and onwards.

    #18: the hidden influence of what we consume.

    media can get manipulated to form bad habits and energies which can overthrow us off of our goals and plans, its important to cater your algorithm to what best suits you to inspire, to motivate and to help you elevate. having an action plan and an approach with a clear mindset can also boost the excitement that comes with locking in. enjoying the journey as well as acting and believing like you have that one thing you desire. claim it as yours, because it is. just change your frequency to match that wavelength to eventually obtain it. no more negative self talk. keep showing up for yourself always.

    #17: being selfish gets you to places.

    placing your energy and time into areas that serve you well is a necessity for becoming a stronger powerhouse but within your healing journey, you also have to make decisions such as who deserves your time, or who deserves to hear what good news you have as envy and jealousy comes in different forms... even friendships. learn to stay quiet about your results and let the results show itself. secrecy is key. shift your perspective and approach to handling situations the right way. leave the table and go make your own rather trying to fit into a box or table that doesnt serve you or represent you properly. so get healing, get learning and get living your life properly... the selfish way xoxo.

    #16: time is an illusion. start now, regret is forever.

    from exploring different hobbies to diving into relationships and situations that leave you with questions, you start to understand that life has a reason behind everything that happens. you begin to realise that time is precious yet limited. the importance of being cognisant of where you place your time and energy is essential in combating the period of brain cloud... i.e the point in your life where you stay confused, wondering which direction to go or how to start. just start. eliminate negative entities and people that bring you unnecessary and futile stress. put yourself first and be selfish with your time. regret is forever, remember that.

    #15: the art of starting over

    coming to a halt on a path where you are working towards something can be discouraging, however understanding that re-starting with a fresh mind but this time with more knowledge and skill can result in a stronger, healthier and profound outcome. stop seeing the concept of square one with fear, see it as understanding yourself more, your needs, your boundaries and what you desire this time round. if you was able to enjoy it and do it once, you can do it again. be your own motivator, applauder and appreciator. admire yourself for how far you've come, love yourself for being such a boss. appreciate the life you have and your surroundings, the more you show grace and gratitude, the more the universe and god gives you for being thankful.

    #14: know when to say goodbye

    understanding that all chapters come to an end can be upsetting, but its also required for perseverance, growth and moving on to better things. even if it seems like that was the best you'll get. so much time gets spent wallowing in what could've been, what could've changed or what if we did so and so, maybe it would've had a different outcome. but in reality, everything happens for a reason, as if you give time a chance to prove to you why it happened the way it did, you'll finally understand that those tears have beauty installed behind the emotions you were handling at that time. trust and believe in yourself that things will get better once closing the door, because it will.

    #12: you are a creator not a consumer.

    taking breaks is essential to your mental and creative process, hence I took a month off lmao. but stumbling upon a video prior to filming this episode I wanted to discuss it here. speaking about the art of starting now rather later. the importance of being aware that yo have a creative spark in you that needs to be released rather pushed under the rug because you'll 'get into it later when you have time' girllll thats a dangerous game. time will continue to go on and you'll keep holding onto that thought, but whilst you're waiting... you'll see someone else has taken your spot or achieved more. not that you are in competition with anyone but yourself, but we both know that'll harm your ego... so you know xoxo get to work!

    #11: when things get rough mentally what do you do?

    people have different approaches to their mentally exhausting day or week. are you the type to thug it out by working countless jobs and hours as well as hitting new goals in the gym everyday as a distraction from sitting with your thoughts and allowing yourself to be vulnerable? having a time and a quiet zone to reflect is essential to discovering inner peace, this doesn't necessarily mean a room lol, the gym could be someones hideaway and getaway, night drives could be someone else's form of expression and sanity. it all stems, just make sure everything is in moderation and you have a perfect balance. you'll be okay lovely.

    #10: the importance of romanticising your life.

    from social studying to watching shows people tend to compare themselves to the falsity of pixels and visuals. knowing the importance of taking a step back from the comparisons and being able to implore and implement a sense of 'social media' to romanticise your life is important. it allows you to enjoy waking up a bit better everyday. having a routine, goals and a checklist, alone time and SOLO DATES!!!! will further grow you to become a better and confident individual with your anxiety lessening in due time.

    #9: teach your heart to accept disappointments

    surrounding yourself with great company and a great social media feed can sometimes lead to you having negative thoughts of comparison, to which you'll start to devalue your blessings that you take for granted.being able to accept the fact that what works for others and what others get may not have the same reception towards you is a skill you need to master and a thing you need to appreciate. its okay if all your friends reach a certain goal in life and you're behind. everything has a purpose and a reason, head over to one of my episodes where I speak about the beauty of delays and goals in life for more on that. accepting that disappointments is okay will lead you to have a proper breathe in and breathe out moment where you won't be bothered or be in despair when you do face moments of disappointment.

    #8: weaponise anxiety to your advantage

    from life experiences that I had no control over to being able to take myself out the country, it taught me a lot about independence, self love and growth as well as being able to be confident and hold conversations without the heart sinking stomach drop feeling before opening my mouth. including parts of my 2023 and 2024 trip to Greece and how its opened my eyes in hopes to inspire the ones who struggle with confidence, anxiety and low self esteem like I once did. being able to understand the problem and the dilemma, navigating how to use your fears such as anxiety and fear of rejection to your best, you'll go far. only time can tell. start weaponising your fears and use the adrenaline behind it to take risks.

    #7: its okay to be lonely and to not be okay

    happy vee day! and a big happy valentines to the single ones who are spending it alone. self love and admiration is the greatest gift one can give to themselves that another can't. in todays episode I briefly touched upon the topics of loneliness, the daunting process of sitting with your feelings, forgiving and letting go as well as learning new skills that can shape you and your mind to become a better loving radiating energy and human in the long run. you don't need to always be around your friends and boyfriend girlfriend or whoever to feel love, the most significant and powerful force is within you, so make sure you always show up for yourself and be your biggest supporter as no ones going to completely fill that part for you.

    #6: the significance in detaching - 'it is what it is'

    when one thing turns south, we tend to wallow and sit in the disbelief, frustration and annoyance. but that in itself consumes our energy far more than it should. instead sit and appreciate what once was and what it could've been, let yourself feel those feelings but then pick yourself up and go. do not sit and wait any longer as if that's going to change the outcome. have the 'it is what it is' approach and keep it moving.

    #5: the importance of self-awareness and self-love

    from experiences in the past that have shaped you as a human, learning more and more about what you love what you need and what you are meant to do to further enhance who you want to become its essential to take a step back and really evaluate what brings you fulfilment and excitement as well as what empties your cup. self awareness and self love are both important tokens that one needs to grasp onto and take care of when manoeuvring through this scary crazy way that we call, life.

    #4: the beauty in the delays of goals and life

    ever wondered why there's a lingering feeling of its okay im destined for better when you don't get what you want? because delayed gratification and learning has its long term benefits. maybe what you're working towards is taking longer than usual because god and the universe is preparing you for something but bigger and better than what you asked for. protect your mental peace and sanity and stop being so overran by the thoughts of pessimism and the concept of 'why not now?'

    #3: self-awareness and detachment - letting go.

    being aware of your surroundings is an important attribute one must have to further elevate either bringing your circle of friends with you or letting go of them, or bad habits. patience is a virtue and one must understand the true value and beauty in it to understand the importance of timing and being at the right place at the right time. coincidences, universal alignment and spiritual healing and growth can shape you into becoming the person you want to be but within all that action is required.

    there is a lot of power and beauty in letting go of things that once served us fulfilment and joy, but holding on can cause a lot more damage than we think. discussing briefly about the negatives of obsession and limerence in a relationship to letting go of the past, pessimistic habits and more. this episode briefly talks about letting go, which will be split into further episodes with more descriptive narratives and approaches to further solidify the art and concept of letting go.

    #1: the power of the present moment and the change within.

    In life we overlook the blessings within being in the present; the now. And when time goes onto the next we tend to look back on certain points in our life and reminisce as well as miss what life once was. Grasp onto reality, appreciate your surroundings and make the changes you need to further grow and glow into being the human you want to become one day. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Live the moment like its your last and watch the blessings come in ten times more.
